What a beach this is. The water is great and so are the waves. Renting a beachchair is only 2.5 Euros. Along the beach there is a boardwalk with restaurants and shops and these are not tourists like at all

Definitely a nice beach on the northern part of the island and it’s in the capital city. There are parking houses nearby donors really accessible.

Nice views of the beach, specially at sunset. Great place to walk around, enjoy a drink or some food, and spend time outside. I do wish smoking was banned on the beach and premises.

Didn’t stay there just walked on the beach but the feeling is great. Fine sand, beautiful scenery over the coast and cool atmosphere.

This place is practically at the end of Canteras beach. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Lovely place to spend time.

This is a beautiful beach that definitly warrants a visit. Parts of the beach have black sand from volcanic rock. Other parts of the beach have regular brown sand. It is absolutely beautiful any time of the day. Plus, there are wonderful spots to eat and have a cafe along the sea. The pathway along the sea stretches for quite a distance which offers a great running and walking option.

Great beach, lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Loved this place! Some restaurants may be expensive but if you just want some tapas and a beer, go to the 100 Montaditos and you'll get it for just the price of the view!

Strongly recommend. Morning yoga on the beach or a quick swim to boost up your energy for the day and afterwards breakfast at one of the caffes alongside the beach. The sunsets are breathtaking. You can enjoy the view, the peace and the quiet.

Nice place with good view over whole Playa de Las Canteras. The waves from ocean are stronger here. Place you can meet local fishmen.

This is essentially a city beach North of Las Palmas. Its very windy at this beach which explains edgy its also known as a surfers beach. As you will see from the photos surfing is the dominant activity here and there are several surfing schools teaching novices. There is a long promenade leading from the centro mall all the way down the beach with restaurants and shops lining the entire route. A nice place to go for a causal stroll but wear long sleeves.

Las Palmas proper beach experience with the kind of things you expect along the front - amusement arcades, restaurants, gelato, bars, souvenir shops, and that entails. Lovely yellow sand to contrast with the volcanic black of much of the island. Volleyball etc. Plus fantastic public changing facilities and loos. This is how to do a public beach.

Soothing place, can sit and relax. You can enjoy the breeze and sea waves hitting the rocks giving absolute pleasure and calmness. Pretty windy. If lucky would find people music playing near the courtyard/Promenade.
