Nice stop to stretch your legs. You can park at the waterfront so it will only take you 2 minutes to walk up to the rocks. Beautiful spot for pictures and not a lot of people at all.

Wow wow wow - you cannot miss this if you go to Gran Canaria. This was so impressive, we spent so long just watching the water.

This is a beautiful natural place in Gran Canaria. However, it lacks signs and barriers to prevent people from getting close specially on windy and rough wave days. We are a family of four including two children visited the place and unfortunately followed the visitors who went a bit off the path to have a better look. We thought we were safe as were more than 10 metres away. The water was snorting from the hole and we took a shot. Suddenly an enormous wave impinged us all! I managed to grap my two children tight but we all fell on rocks and the water went well about our heads. We could just see white bubbles under the water for few seconds! Luckily the water did not pull us inside the hole and had a lucky scape. We were too close to death and children were crying. My wife injured herself in multiple bruises and wounds and we are got soaked wet. Be careful when you visit this place and stick to the path despite not having the best view. I searched and realised that there have been some deaths in this spot. I expected more from authorities to keep this place safer by putting barriers and signs

Created by volcano rock formation, this is another interesting point to visit if you happen to pass by this part of island. They created a nice walking path here, and the carpark is less than 50 meters away. We can see its coastal line as well as colourful local houses on the hill the other side.

Great place to visit. Car park above it and a walkway along. The waves were just amazing and a sink hole with a blowhole of water amazing to watch.

Incredible to watch close, just go close and look a few minutes there until you will see a big wave come, you won't regret going there. It is one of my favorite places in nature I have ever seen. Just amazing.

I believe there's Under-water-caves in El bufadero as it's like something is doing "a suction" in this beautiful coast space. I'm not sure if diving is allowed due to the death rates on little till non experienced divers. Take in this beautiful scene. Have fun a bit further down the coast on wake boards, sunbathing and swimming 💚💚💚

All at once, seawater shoots up into the air. The violence of the sea is felt immediately. Lava everywhere, gout, run for your life!

Beautiful views. But the wind blows terribly! Even when the weather is great. You have to be careful when it's windy, might be dangerous to be there because of the big waves.

Stunning location for sunrise! Absolutely mesmerising with the waves crashing into the naturally formed depths of caves. Super accessible for all ages with a great open free parking space very near. Highly recommend a visit at any time of the day, especially for sunrise!

This is really nice to visit place. I have seen it during normal sunny day. I’m wondering how it look like during the storm. You can feel power of the waves. Also it is really easy to find it. Close to the main road on the island.

Great view, could’ve spent an hour just looking at these pools being filled and emptied over and over again, it was very meditative. I was there closer to sunset, and the light was magnificent. Would recommend not only visiting this sight but also taking a walk to playa del Hombre

  • 5/5 Peter C. 2 years ago on Google
Fascinating natural phenomena as the sea water passes into a bowl shaped crevice and thrashes about before emptying then continuosly refilling, A worthy diversion along the beautiful coastal walk from Menenara to La Garita

Great view point with fantastic wayerflow! I would suggest to visit this place during high tide, better when big waves hit the shore. Sunny midday is the time of magnificent color of waves. Attention! Take care of yourself and do not risk your life for better photo!

A beautiful area to visit on this island of Gran canaria just a magical place to visit if you have the time and the money well worth every penny, warm ,quite and plenty of good fresh food lots of restaurants of all types with the a experience that will live on for years and the possibility of going back again after the first visit, plenty of beaches and clean blue water would suggest a tour around the island to visit all off the different areas and there heritage.
