Nice spacious room. Good soundproofing. Location excellent. Bathroom facilities very nice. Incredibly professional staff. There was a problem with the window in the original room upon arrival, we were moved instantly to a different one, though it was late Saturday night. Nice varied breakfasts, I appreciate the presence of local products. Due to personal preference I would prefer more scrambled eggs to just fried. At the reception - very knowledgeable about transportation, food etc. I needed to travel to university campus to meet colleagues and students and got every possible instruction on how to get there. The housekeeping staff very polite and tried to be invisible and unobtrusive. We were told: this is your home and it was.

I am giving 4 stars purely because it s very well depends what kind of room you are staying in. Originally we were allocated to the room without a sea view (which we knew, but thought it will be garden or something), which overlooked the fire escape and dirty street. Room was super small barely enough for one person, everything is so close, that it s just super uncomfortable. But staff were super helpful and moved us to another room (for extra fee of course) with a sea view and our own terrace and much bigger size - completely different experience. Breakfast is decent, but avoid this coffee from a coffee machine - ask for the one from the bar. Location 4 stars - even though it s on the beach, the beach just under the hotel is not the greatest with some rocks and uncomfortable to walk into. A little walk down the road and much better beach conditions. But right next to a local shop and lots of different restaurants, so dont have to worry about where to get your dinner.

Really bad service, wanted to book for tonight and to have a look at the room before but the receptionist said it’s not possible. There were still rooms available on booking sites.

Don't know about the rooms but the breakfast buffet only had dirty plates for several mornings. General neglect was significant.

Mixed Experience at a Beachside Hotel I recently stayed at this hotel near Las Canteras beach, and my experience had its highs and lows. Positives: - The hotel boasts stylish decor and an impressive location, especially with ocean-view balconies. - Booking a room with a balcony creates the illusion of being right on the beach. Negatives: 1. Parking Woes: No designated parking, and the hotel lacks agreements with nearby lots, for better price. 2. Cleanliness Concerns: The overall cleanliness needs improvement; fingerprints on corridors, elevator, and doors were noticeable. 3. Mystery Odor: Our room had an unpleasant, mysterious odor—possibly sewage or ventilation-related. 4. Tiny Pool: The pool, rather disappointingly, is more akin to a large bathtub. Limited sun deck space with only three pairs of lounge chairs. 5. Breakfast Price: Breakfast costs 15 euros per person, but the quality doesn't justify the price, especially with many affordable and tastier options in nearby cafes. Suggestions: - Address the parking situation or establish agreements with nearby lots. - Enhance overall cleanliness to maintain a better standard. - Investigate and resolve the mysterious odor issue in rooms. - Improving sun deck facilities. Allocating two loungers per room with a balcony would address the space issue and enhance the hotel's image. In summary, the hotel has potential but needs improvements in certain areas. The beachside location is a major plus, but attention to details could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

Renovated hotel, nice furniture. No toilet brush in a room, first two days we got only towels for one person, pretty thick walls, so you can hear other people sometimes, pool to small, nice breakfast, wonderful location and view.

We spent 2 weeks in Gran Canaria and are glad we chose Las Palmas and the Sercotel. We had a nice vacation there. The hotel is very new and modern. Due to the central location, you are quickly in the city center and still have the beach in front of the door. The rooms are modern and have a great view of the sea, however we sadly didn’t had enough storage space for our stay. The price for the room was reasonable. The breakfast is varied and there is something for everyone. The pool is a great addition but is a bit small and unfortunately there are only 6 sunbeds but the beach is only 20 Meters away. The staff is very friendly, especially Marieta, she is responsible for public relations and organised a rental car for us. She recommended great places to visit as well as restaurants and insider tips in Las Palmas. All in all we had a great stay.

Marieta the public relationship of the Hotel was excellent. The stuff treated us amazingly every single day. I can only say good things about the hotel. Room services on point they kept everything very clean.

We spent 5 nights in the Hotel and were amazed by the stunning views, lovely sunsets, closeness to the sea and great room. A big thank you to Marieta (public relationships) for treating us so well during our stay.. we felt like at home and were blown away by the warmth of the staff.

Location of the hotel is great. Unfortunately we didn’t have a sea view or balcony. Within 1min walking you arrive at the beach. Good service from the hotel to provide beach towels! The room decoration was very basic and a bit old. The webpage promised special discounts for the Spa for hotel clients, but that wasn’t true. In general a good hotel but not worthy of 4 stars, mostly because of the room. Breakfast was good, enough choice and nice staff.

It was in an amazing location, front of the beach. The room was very clean and comfortable but we were on the first floor and the street was so close. That means that there was very noise from the street and without the curtains closed there wasn't any privacy. The pool was amazing and with a great view but there isn't a bar there which will be great. The staff was very helpful and gentle. So, we recommend this hotel.

The room was not in line with my expectations on a four star hotel. I could hear everything from next door neighbors.

Room was big enough and clean, except terrace was never cleaned. Liked the Chef during the breakfast, greeting all guests and wishing them Bon Appetit! :)

An okey hotel. What you can expect from 4 stars in spain. Rooms were nice and tidy, allthough with small issues (ours had dirty glasses in the bathroom, the AC was a bit noisy, and the beds were rock hard). Fridge was cold, and room was clean. Also the breakfast buffet was nice, but a little limited. The best thing is location. Practically on the beach, and within walking distance of everything in Las Palmas.

Good location, we had a sea view a tad noisy with the window open but to be expected due to its location on the promenade. Rooms were good enough a bit dated but clean ( i seemed to be missing an iron and board - dont know as i never fully enquired). All in all we had a great time there cracking location. We arrived at the epiphany and never realised that is thier christmass day for exchanging gifts dia de los reyes, (day of the 3 kings aka the 3 wise men) they had a big festival, a good atmosphere in the city centre. Muy beuno

Love this little gem. But I’m low maintenance. The views! The staff! Are there better hotels? Sure. You won’t find beachfront bargains though.... I love everything about this place even the sub par bedding!!! See you next year❤️

It's right on the boardwalk next to the ocean which is very scenic. Good location too. The upper floors have balconies for viewing the boardwalk and shore line. This is where the positives end. TV didn't work, AC didn't blow cold air, bathroom smelled funky, the bed was... Worst ever and I've been to the Jersey shore! Literally impossible to sleep on the mattress. But the place is very cheap. Just know what you're paying for.

I slept in this hotel just for one night, i spent 57 euro, against another one asking 75 euro plus other 75 because was 8 o clock in the morning and the clock in is after midday. This 4 stars hotel is exactly on front of a sea side, you can go out directly wearing a costume if you want the beach is 2m on front. The room honestly was nothing really special, i mean clean and everythings but was anonymous, old without style definitely far from being modern. The toilet was clean and tidy and nice as well with big shower. The receptionists are young and nice the only things is a bit weird is why they don't have an adapter for the charger. The tourism in this iland are most English and German people a 4 stars hotel suppose to have a thousand adapter especially because they don't have any usb plug in the room. The breakfast was nice sweet and salted, fresh fruit english, breakfast, cheese, ham salami, cakes muffin, fresh orange juice, coffee, just not with a professional coffee machine but with the automatic one. The waiter was nice and professional even if he doesn't talking English. Anyway have a breakfast watching the sea side is always a good feeling.

The hotel is in a fabulous position close to the church. On the roof of the hotel there is a hot tub, sunbeds and shade. The views of the church are breathtaking, the mountains beyond and the town itself are beautiful too. The hotel is well decorated and it was a joy to stay here. The town has a tricky one way system, but free parking is a available a few streets away. This is an excellent base for exploring Las Palmas and has good access to the motorway to drive to the airport, or south coast resorts. Breakfast was lovely and we also ate delicious tapas in the cafe overlooking the church in the square. Finally, we felt the hotel offered good value for money. Well recommended.
