Great spot, clean and really friendly staff. They even gave us an upgrade based on the long duration stay we had. The pool is great with no need to bring your towel has it provided. Would come back.

AC Iberia Las Palmas is located at centre of Las Palmas on Gran Canaria and a 20 minute drive from the airport, LPA. The hotel is facing the ocean and the promenade, which sadly also is next to the main road. There is a small outdoor car park outside the hotel, and the reception is to the right in the lobby area and the the left is the bar and restaurant and further down is the breakfast lounge. There is a small but nice gym on the 11th floor overlooking the ocean front and a small outdoor pool on the rooftop. The rooms are nice and a good size but could do with a update. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from shopping, food and the major sights. The WiFi is a disappointment as it is very patchy and slow. Overall is it a good hotel with friendly staff and a good location.

Just a business hotel. COVID closed the pool and rooftop terrace and there’s no outdoor seating. Otherwise clean and comfortable bed. “Over looking the marina” means over looking the port entrance.

We had a lay over on Las Palmas because of the weather situation in Madeira - this hotel was book from Eurowings - the rooms are real nice and the view was enjoyable!

The staff is so friendly and helpful. With all aspects. The staff in the breakfast area. The bar area and the front desk. Always very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and relaxing. And the views across the bay are just peaceful to enjoy a morning cup of coffee as the sun rises. Our second visit and we love it here and Las Palmas is a hidden gem.

Spent one night at AC Hotel. Welcome and good-bye were friendly. Check in efficient even with a crowd waiting that just arrived before me. I had a Junior Suite with lots of space, coffee maker, mini fridge and all the nice add-ons. The Living-Room could use a little more personal and design touch. It's quite basic. Bed and Bathroom clean and functional. A pool on top of the roof offers a good view over the city and the harbor. Would stay there again.

Warning: Obviously a lot of fake positive reviews for this hotell. Dirty. Smelly. Lack of maintanance. Bad service. Generally worn out. Junior Suite. Sink not draining. Broken caulking in shower. Sewer smell in bathroom. Swollen, broken laminate on bathroom floor. Dirty fabric wallpaper in bathroom. Horrible sofa bed. Dirty floors all around. Cleaning person accessing the room to clean on the morning of departure, instead of waiting for check out, as a testament to lack of hotel management. Doors in lobby restrooms does not lock properly. Messy lobby. General lack of maintanance and proper management. Hotell entrance not easy to find or access from the street. Would not recommend. At all.

Although the location and staff ( especially Victor at the Front Desk) was great, the (second) room we were given was very small, partly outdated in appearance and surprising in that regard. The mattress was too soft and did not make for a comfortable night's sleep. The most impactful about my feeling regarding the rooms, however, was the fact that the walls were so thin, one could hear the neighbor's every word. In our first room (1115), the neighbors had what seemed to be a party so we asked to be moved immediately. The person we shared a wall with in our second room (707), could be heard snoring all night, which was not very good. Breakfast was generally good with friendly and attentive staff present. Overall, I would recommend this hotel based on the staff and location and we will be happy to return at a later time.

Room is really small for 4 star restaurant. No leisure place and pool closed at 18:00. Not recommend. Drinks in fridge need to be charged. The price is 100+. Expensive compared with others.

I was transferred here after my flight was delayed. Everything was free (due to the cancellation), the hotel room was quite small, but both the food and room were very nice and high-quality. Would recommend staying here for a short amount of time.

Nice hotel lobby. I paid for half board expecting a restaurant environment but was surprised it was more like a bar or canteen environment. Food was ok if the mains was bland. I would probably eat outside if I knew. Rooms were nice a little dated but no air con settings so got stuffy and had mosquitoes buzzing in my ear. Still a good hotel overall.

Everything was ok, there was no problem. Room was so clean, comfortable and did not miss basic stuff (shower, kosmetics set, shampoo etc.) The place was very quiet.

Quite a distance from a beach but the view from the hotel rooms was sea view near a part of a harbour. The twin room was spacious, clean and well equipped with mini fridge, coffe maker, hairdryer etc, though some of the flooring looked a bit tired. It was beautifully decorated for the festive season and the buffet food was excellent. The staff were extremely patient and helpful and all spoke fluent English.

Stayed here for a week for some “home office” work. The staff is rather rude and unable (or unwilling) to help with the most basic requests (e.g. getting some additional coffee capsules or ordering a bottle of wine from the bar). The “superior internet” is an embarrassing joke and completely unusable, even for simple browsing - was forced to use my mobile data. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I intended to keep friendly relations with.

Horrendous buffet cooked food for Third Party Engineers that are staying there for many days. We are Engineers working on the a Drillship that is parked in Las Palmas Deepwater Quayside. A very arrogant, rude and short male senior waiter that always hide behind the Check-in Counter. He seems to love reprimanding customer(s) of the hotel. Smelly rooms. Smelly bed sheets and pillow. Bad condition pillows. But I don't blame the room service workers. Had to buy my own air freshener to put in my room. Someday I will write in to Marriot. Especially about their short and arrogantly rude senior waiter. A very disappointing image for Marriot.

What an awful let down, I’ve been to this hotel 10 years ago and what a wonderful experience it was. Unfortunately the only thing that didn’t change is the furniture which is now very old. The rooms were dirty and the bed sheets and some spots on them. To say this is a 4 star hotel is nothing but a sham and a lie

Clean rooms and good service from staff but not a very big selection of breakfast but considering we were put up at this hotel due to our flight delays, it was okay.

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel, was very quiet on the 9th floor. Hotel has gym and small swimming pool on the roof, 11th floor, which is free for use. Breakfast is OK, could be a bit better. Hotel works with one rent a car house so you can get a car in under 30 mins delivered to hotel. Price is affordable, and there is a bus nearby for city center (line 1 and 12).

Considering that it's a Marriott hotel is 5/10. Specifically the facilities. On the other hand the staff is very nice and helpful Daniel or Carla were super nice and I feel like home, and it's something to appreciate . On the other hand the small details are bad such as the remote control is broken, or the walls.of the toilet ( with this pandemic) is disgusting it's the pity. Also there is no dinner in a special day like new year Eve, so our options to pay another to receive the dinner. Ah the internet, WiFi doesn't work properly.its sad those small details reduce the quality of Marriott hotels

Horrible hotel, dirty rooms with a horrible toilet smell, bed is really old and breakfast is basic. I don’t recommend this hotel!

Not what it seems in photos on booking sites. Older building, worn out rooms, location far from beach, only basic not heated pool, but cheap.

  • 1/5 Markus L. 1 year ago on Google
Air conditioning is making a lot of noise and bathroom floor is broken. Their "dinner" looks a bit like breakfast. The vegetarian option is a joke. I wouldn't book this again.

Just ok for an overnight stay. Main reception is nice but rooms dated. Funny smell in my room as if not been aired.

Stayed here after flight delayed overnight. For a four star hotel, room was clammy, floor and seat had marks all over them. Food was very mediocre. If I paid, I'd have requested a refund

Inside the hotel looks very sleek, outside not so much. The rooms are very comfortable with super king-size beds (I slept incredibly well), ensuite shower-room (no bath), minibar and a decent coffee (pod) machine. The hotel is allegedly 4 star and includes a pool although that was shut during my visit. The cleanliness wasn't up to the standard I would expect at all. The bathroom walls were covered in splashes (see pics) and sealant had visible black mould staining. Staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast was great. A little more attention to maintenance would make all the difference here.

For a 4 star Hotel, they had really dirty towels and forgot about some towels and when I complaint they brought again new towels but again dirty. Their excuses was it's always new client here and sorry but nothing else

Bidet in room was broken - very grim after using it (didn't drain). Milk alongside coffee machine had been used before we were given the room and not replaced. Floors were scuffed and the rooftop pool was locked shut. Right by a busy motorway. Breakfast was passable but breakfast room utterly soulless, like something from a creepypasta - 'the backrooms'.
