I believe that staying in this hotel is like wearing a fine high class beautiful tuxedo that has a horrid stain. The hotel in general is the tuxedo but some of the staff from the restaurant are the stain. I don’t want to go into much detail but some staff from the restaurant is in discomfort or not pleased and that turns into a troublesome service with guests. Never coming back.

Excellent hotel first line beach front. Staff pleasant, friendly, respectful, cannot do enough for you. Go out of their way to help and make a pleasant experience. Wouldn't stay at any other hotel on the island. Rooms a little tired but many have been refurbished. Spa and pool first class. Good choice of food.Been going to G.C. for 20+years.

We had a great stay and experience in the hotel. The breakfast was very tasty and the selection is broad. The beach is less than 2 minutes walk from hotel’s reception and there are free sun beds for hotel’s guests. Couple of points we wish were improved: 1. Parking spaces - there are fewer parking spaces than there are rooms in the hotels, which makes it hard/impossible to park on hotel’s territory if you want to drive out in the evening. Additionally, 3 spaces are reserved for management, which I believe, 1 would be enough. 2. We wish beach towels were exchanged free of charge and not for a fee. 3. The bedding in the room was simply made and tucked by cleaners, but it was not changed during the duration of our stay. Otherwise, a great hotel for its price and we would be happy to return in future!

Liegen gibt es also genug.

Had a fabulous few days here at the end of the Easter holidays. I really enjoyed this hotel. The location is great, the food was amazing, rooms clean, pool and gym what more could you ask for. The staff are friendly and helpful. Hope to come back.

Very good hotel, I went half board and it was well worth it. Great food, both breakfast and dinner, loads of choices, dishes are easily on par with mid to high end restaurants. Facilities are good too. The staff are excellent, very polite and professional. Great location. I stayed alone and they have single occupancy rooms which are comfy, I opted for a sea view on the 5th floor. All in all, well worth the price which is very reasonable.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at! Delicious breakfast with vegan options, a separate gluten free stand and freshly squeezed juice which was a breakfast highlight! The hotel and rooms were clean and had a good atmosphere. The only thing missing was a kettle which would have been nice to have in the rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent: next to the beach, close to a lot of good places to dine out, plus about a 5 minute walk away from a bus station with excellent connections. The rooftop and spa facilities were great and not overly crowded. All in all, the hotel definitely contributed to our holiday in Gran Canaria being absolutely excellent!

I highly recommend if you are in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria to stop even if for a night at Reina Isabel. Rated with 4✨, I will say that this hotel definitely deserves a 5✨rating or more, and that’s due to several reasons. Firstly, the reception team was great. Always kind and acting fast, they left a hand writing message when something was in need - a very personal touch , rarely met nowadays. Secondly, the hotel has the gym and the swimming pool on the rooftop, therefore you can enjoy sunsets in an amazing atmosphere (+ check the hidden cocktail bar on the rooftop , a very nice place for after suppers). Further, the cleaning service personal, impressed me- they where everywhere and nowhere - meaning, when something in need there will always be someone to find a solution for your needs, while at the same time- they will be so quite and kind of invisible- so you as a guest do not get disturbed. Furthermore, with all my due respect to the island culture and all other amazing restaurants I’ve visited, the restaurant at Reina Isabel is on my top due to a huge diversity, a live chef for your prawns or steak, and not to forget the fabulous waitress team that is visibly a professional one- with an appropriate behaviour, a genuine smile and with a personal touch, they gave me the feeling that they are a family and I am in their house- honestly, a big thank you🙏🏻 And, not to forget the view I had from my room which is the icing on the cake.

Here we are, 5 beautiful women to celebrate BDay of one of us on the Rooftop. I confirmed before it is possible to get up and have a Sundowner ( we are not guests of the hotel) While we try to order we got the most harsh answer of Moises C. I received so far (500+ Hotel behind me) It will not possible for us to get a BDay Drink at all. Only if we sit inside. Even so the pool area was almost empty and he just left….. I was shocked about this customer treatment. Reina Isabel needs to be more make over to arrive in 2023 customer treatment. No vibe at all.

I had a very pleasant stay at this great 4 star hotel. The spa with floating pool was great. I enjoyed the nice conversations with the staff. They were able to give me good advice for Las Palmas and took great care of their guests. The location of the hotel is wonderful (2 min from the beach). My room was nicely designed and decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the ocean view fantastic! I enjoyed the rich breakfast and the restaurant. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended!

The hotel is worn out, needs updating everywhere except for the lobby. The breakfast buffet was nothing special items were cold and the service was not good. The room was in need of updating, the curtains were ripped and the pool although with amazing views of Las Canteras beach need updating as well. The Spa facility seems nice at first glance but then you notice that paint is chipping off and it needs updating as well I would not stay there again.

Lol Bar needs to be managed for the client not for the staff Appalling attitude Appalling service But staff get off early

My wife I had an amazing stay here in this beach front hotel & spa which is situated on Las Palmas main beach Las Canteras. Location wise it was perfect. Breakfast was the usual buffet but had a wide variety of hot and cold food and a chef cooking fresh omletes to order. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious enough for two people and would highly recommend upgrading to one of their sea view rooms where you can enjoy watching the sunset most evenings. Decor could do with updating in the rooms in my opinion but it didn't look shabby and the rooms were cleaned daily. Another benefit of staying at this hotel is that as a guest you also can use the beach sunbeds free of charge however, they do have a ridiculous system of reservation and although the hotel says this is forbidden there is always a steady stream of selfish older guests who que up 2 hours before the beach sunbeds are open to reserve them all before thay have breakfast! The roof pool area is pretty chilled all day long and above that is a small gym and access to the spa which are both open daily and free to use. All the staff were friendly, helpful and inviting and use of the hotels facilities with a secure place to put luggage and a complimentary room to change and shower in when our flights home were in the late evening after we had checked out was really appreciated and took the worry out of our last remaining hours of our holiday. We enjoyed our stay and would definately stay here again when visiting Las Palmas in the future.

Excellent place to stay can't really fault only no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which I think is a bit strange especially when you get up you need a tea or coffee boost.

The best hotel in that area of Las palmas. They are very generous and professional in offering free included services. The hotel is even better than other 5 stars hotels around. Free Spa, free beach towels, sun beds and umbrellas, free parking. Very polite people, good food, clean beachfront hotel. What you can expect more? Lady Silvana in receptionist with her always smile and kindness and gentleman Helmut were always there to provide you a great stay. Thank you very much!

I had such an odd experience at this place. The spa and gym are nice, although the hours of the spa are really not ideal and it’s super busy in the afternoons. Also there aren’t any showers so you have to go to/from your room in wet swimwear if you actually shower before. Missing a lot of details.. there’s a sewing and shoe polishing kit but no shampoo and conditioner. Beds are ok, pillows terrible. Food is basic. Bar/restaurant staff are great, front desk not so much. I wouldn’t stay again.

Location location location. Although this hotel should soon get refurbished, the service is very good and the location is just perfect. The hotel provides beach towels, chairs and umbrella on the beach. The gym is at the last level of the hotel with a view. There is also a spa with sauna and inside pool. There is bar on the roof and one on the first floor towards the beach. In my opinion it is worth to pay for the morning buffet.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, rooms are relatively comfy, and the facilities are easy to access and very high quality (spa, pool, restaurant). What really stood out is the quality of the service. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations.

Fantastic venue and very friendly stuff. The rooms are big and clean and they are doing a fantastic job with their environmental friendly policy. The pool at the 8th floor is great. The breakfast food is of good quality. Would definitely use them again.

The hotel location is perfect, just a cross the beach and near downtown. The facility is complete, with good breakfast and spacious room. But the top notch is their staffs, all the staffs there very helpful and friendly!

Stayed 2 nights in november 2021. Great location in Las Palmas. Canteras beach with the boardwalk and restaurants are right outside the door. Good location for shopping, exploring the city and Santa Catalina bus station and park. Good breakfast. The hotel have a spa that’s free to use/included in the room rate, and also a rooftop pool. Since this is a 4 star hotel I would have given it 5 stars based on its facilities and location. However… My room was a huge disappointment. Small and felt outdated/sterile, especially the bathroom. One bottle of combined shampoo/bodywash and no balsam + thin, white conference-room towels didn’t change that impression. I would at my best rate the rooms 3 stars. I therefor rate this hotel 4 stars in total. Because of the room I will probably not stay here again, unless the hotel has other and better rooms for a reasonable price.

Well-known, large hotel right on the seafront and the fine Las Canteras beach in Las Palmas . Bull Reina Isabel & Spa has a beautiful classic- style lobby with high ceilings. The hotel has a sun terrace with a swimming pool, and if you want to work out you can use the hotel's gym. You can also treat yourself to a pampering treatment at the hotel's fine and popular spa. The hotel also has a reputable à la carte restaurant, and on the 8th floor there is a nice bar with comfortable armchairs.

Location is nice. Customer service is poor especially to us maybe because we are Asian,as I observed they where so nice with white people. 2 days in a row our room door was broken we waited for too long ,our plan for the day did not went through, and they kept insisting its because of our phone so close to the door while opening it.If I did not insist to change our room they will not even suggest it plust the receptionist said that if we want to change the room we should pack our things immediately. And by the way we booked a room with sea view but they put us to the room that when you go to the terrace there are people also do sunbathing straight from our terrace that is room 417. Broken door lock was a blessing in disguise so we can move to the room that exactly in the descriptions that we paid for. Not happy

Very clean, gorgeous hotel with amazing service and friendly staff that all speak English. The pool on the roof and accompanying view are also incredible. The morning buffet was varied and great as well. The hotel is also within 5 mins walking distance from the bus station. All in all, a great experience 👌

Good price and quality ratio for sure. Great place to stay. The breakfast is excellent for such a hotel. The menu doesn't change much from day to day, but it's not a big problem. The only thing is the rooms are very aged and need renovation.

Affordable luxury 😁 Everything about this hotel was excellent. I had a budget room, facing the city, with a balcony. The room and adjoining bathroom were spacious and sparkling clean. Fluffy towels and all sorts of eco-friendly products, a fridge and incredibly comfortable beds! And the food... Amazing and plentiful!

Beautiful hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Very good with children, the whole team made us and our son feel welcomed. The beach is literally a 2 second walk, beware the incredibly hot sand 😅. All the locals are friendly, Gran Canaria is such a beautiful island, we will definitely be coming back to this hotel 👍 Gracias and adios Reina Isabel.

It is a dream! The service staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and very close to the sea! Towels, Umbrellas and Sunbeds are provided at the beach (be there at 10 sharp). If you want to dine at the hotel: it has a lot of different food. Fish and meat is always made fresh for you. The spa is quiet and has a floating pool. The swimming pool is small but perfect if you don't want to go down to the beach. I have been there 3 times and I will most definitely be returning to the Reina Isabel.

Excellent tiramisu. Creamy and not too sweet. Very good service. Lovely view of the ocean from the terrace which is heated on colder days. However, I am surprised that guests at the four star hotel have to stand in line for breakfast.

Perfect location. Good point: the Spa use is included without time limit. The landscape from the swimming pool is amazing. The view from the sauna & Spa is 5star

  • 4/5 Geoff H. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel, excellent position, nice pool area and lovely spa. Avoid rooms 270 to 274 they get a ridiculous amount of noise from the conference room below. And this room is used a lot

  • 4/5 Kaj Ethan B. 2 years ago on Google
Perfect location, good service and really good food and could make this hotel to one of the best in Las Palmas. I give a 4 stars to hotel just because some small details hotel has to fix it like: beach towels (we had to go up and down between reception and housekeeper to get a new towels and pay for it) - unnecessary hustle, next thing was a some of reception staff who wasn't interested to help. Asked about late check out and they without checking says no. After all more positive things things you can enjoy in the hotel like good-size rooftop swimmingpool with the view, gym with amazing view and the top floor SPA with a view, enjoy a breakfast or dinner in hotels restaurants (you have to try their food!). I'm looking forward to come back pretty soon to my favourite spot in Las Palmas.

Old hotel, but has been updated since it was built in 1965. Rooms are ok, aircon could be better. Beds are a bit hard, but ok. Lots too choose from during breakfast. Very helpful staff. 10m from the beach. Quiet. All rooms seems to have a small balcony. Very nice stay.

1 star because there isn’t an option for zero stars. We were walking along the promenade, heard someone playing the harp and decided to have a drink at the outside bar. We waiting to be seated but were ignored for around 5 minutes. I approached a waitress who was super distracted. We were told to sit anywhere so we found a table. Hadn’t been cleaned, tip from the last customer was still there. Ignored for a further 5 minutes until another waitress noticed us. She seemed more capable than the others we’d experienced. It looks like a really nice place, shame our experience wasn’t the best.
