Luca cancelled our reservation at 21:00h the night before our arrival. No reason given, no apologies, no communication. Just went and cancelled. She could easily have written to us to explain the situation and apologise and we might have been more understanding of the situation. The room was put straight back onto Airbnb, so clearly there was no problem with the room. We were stuck on a Saturday morning desperately trying to find a place to stay on a weekend, in the summer with 2 dogs on my wife's birthday no less! There was hardly any other place to stay and we ended up having to pay more than double to stay in the only place we could find at such short notice. Disgraceful behaviour. Someone who behaves like this should not be running a BnB. Watch out - you may end up not having anywhere to stay if you book here. Edited: Her reply to this comment clearly shows the attitude she has to her guests. No "sorry for the inconvience we caused you", but a "people like you should stay at home". We have stayed in over 100 Airbnb's across the world and have more than 80 reviews, all very positive. We are experienced travelers and have never had a problem like the one we just experienced.

Die Lage ist perfekt, man befindet sich direkt in der schönen Altstadt und hat viele leckere Restaurants und Bars um die Ecke. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es kommt jeden Tag eine Reinigungskraft. Das Haus hat eine Dachterrasse auf der man am Abend nett sitzen kann. Da der Preis recht günstig ist, sollte man sich aber über folgende Faktoren klar sein: 1. Es gibt drei (sehr gepflegte) Gemeinschaftsbäder. 2.Das Frühstück besteht hauptsächlich aus Toastbrot 3.Das Haus ist wirklich sehr hellhörig. Wir haben teilweise sehr unruhig geschlafen, da man jeden Schritt auf dem Flur hört. Außerdem hat nicht jedes Zimmer ein Fenster, weshalb die Luft sehr schlecht ist. 4. Es gibt keine dazugehörigen Parkplätze. Wir haben aber jeden Abend einen in der Parallelstraße gefunden (Parkhäuser sind sehr teuer) Fazit: Wenn man nach einer preisgünstigen Unterkunft sucht und oben genannte Gegebenheiten hinnehmen kann, ist die Unterkunft super und man kann von dort aus die ganze Insel erkunden.

If you want to get away from the very busy north of las palmas, you should stay here! It’s a relaxing place with gorgeous antique interior, and rooftop terrace. The only downside in our room was the missing bathroom door.

Very stylish place! Many thoughtful interior details. Comfortable room, fresh bedding, huge window, very sunny. Great common places, terrace and always clean showered and toilets. Good breakfast. Can only recommend!

Unique, listed period property. Each room has that individual, one off design look. Roberto and his staff are very helpful, friendly. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, self service. You have the run of the house with many public areas to explore including a roof top balcony. Definitely recommend. It is 5 minutes from the historic old town and there is a bus stop just outside the property, 8 minutes from bus station where you can travel anywhere on the island.

My stay at Aminta Home was very pleasant. The owner makes an effort to make changes to the house and add new decorations. I especially appreciated the huge terrace with amazing views of the city where you can relax and read a book. The bathrooms are shared. The cleanliness is impeccable. The breakfast is included and consists of croissants, jam, yoghurt, pain au chocolat, cheese and ham, toast, juice, coffee. The main issue was the really bad sound insulation and therefore a lack of privacy.

Really charming bed and breakfast but the ensuite bedroom was way too noisy. If you pay a premium to have a private bathroom, you don’t then expect to spend the whole night awake with the whole hotel going to the shared bathroom next door to your bedroom. Such a shame.

Beautiful house, lovely family owners. Great location away from the night bustle but close enough to the old town and santa Ana cathedral. Bus stops at the end of the road, by the coast. My only problem was finding it.

We stayed here in May for almost a week. May It's not high season, so there weren't many people in other rooms. I cannot guarantee that in high season it is as quiet here as it was during our stay. There were also no queues for bathrooms or breakfast. I will remember my stay with pleasure because the decor is beautiful and atmospheric, the breakfasts are simple but tasty. Very nice location, away from the hustle and bustle, among tight colorful streets. I think I will come back here next time! I upload a photo from the terraace.

Very well located B&B in a beautiful and nicely renovated house the heart of Las Palmas.

Friendly, helpful hosts, clean, nice rooms in a beautiful, authentic, good-atmospheric canarian house. Highly recommended for a few days in the capital of Gran Canaria.

Excellent authentic atmosphere with lovely hosts! They are dog-friendly, so we got a room downstairs. Get ready to walk a lot on this Area as the nearest big supermarkets are a bit far away. We really LOVED the place!

Brilliant Vacational House in the most beautiful and older quarter of the city. If you want to see how real life in Las Palmas is this is your place. A few cafes and restaurants are not far walking. Each room has their own character and decorating, most of the furniture is recycled and given a second life, something that I really like as we have only one world. The terrace is amazing, plenty of sunshine. The service was great, clean place, fast internet and quiet area at night only some buses (guaguas) in the morning but something normal. Highly recommended!! Thanks.

This my favorite place in Las palmas. The owner is awesome. We received a very good service. Rooms and bathrooms were sparkling clean. I was amazed by the design and how they gave much attention to details which matches very well the neighborhood. It was very comfortable and safe stay. The breakfast was perfect. Definitely I would stay there again!!

Lovely place off the beaten track. Quirky and clean, rooftop terrace, shops, coffee shops nearby, cathedral near by, ten minute walk from the main shopping area and bus station. Would recommend it.
