It was a very nice stay. The experience started with the check in where you can have a seat in the entrance and enjoy a coffee or cold drink, while the team is doing the check in. It was very clean, staff was nice and very good and fresh breakfast. Thanks to the staff and hope to see you soon again!

The hotel has been very tastefully renovated, retaining its old world charm but with high-end contemporary suites that are extremely well equipped and furnished. The owner has amassed a captivating collection of fine art work and sculptures that adorn the corridors and stairwells. Our suite (number 7) was expansive and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable that it was a shame to have to leave it in the mornings, and were it not for the fact that the shower and delicious breakfasts were so inviting, we could easily have spent the entire day relaxing there. Last but by no means least, the staff at 1498 work tirelessly to give all their guests a 6-star experience. They genuinely care for their clientele. Every morning we were given a warm welcome by Lucia, the charming manageress, who went out of her way to ensure that we were very well looked after and getting the most out of the island. Miriam made the most delicious cakes daily and always gave us very attentive personalised service at breakfast. Ramiel provided the best housekeeping service we have encountered at any hotel - our large suite was spotless and looked like a new show room every time we returned. Jerado was a true gentleman - always on hand in the evening to patiently address our queries and requests n matter how late it was. In short, I think you will struggle to find a finer boutique hotel in the Canary Islands.

Home away from home, stunning artwork, delicious breakfast, efficient and warm staff. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Close enough to attractions while still quiet within the hotel. I advise you stay on the 3rd floor as you will be away from the street noise. Totally recommend!

We started our holiday in Gran Canaria in this little oasis & it was a truly delightful stay. The family vibe of the team, fantastic breakfast, beautiful decor, comfort & space of our room were all perfect. Located very conveniently in the old part of the city, the only moan we had was that we had to move to our next location after a week. Lucia, Alejandra, Gerardo & Miriam (thank you so much for sharing your cheese cake recipe with me) - thank you all for your hospitality & we hope to be back again!

This is the best Hotell I have visited! It's in the middle of Las Palmas with walking distance to shopping and restaurants, But its not disturbed by cars. You will be surrounded with old beautiful architecture and cobblestone streets. The breakfast has better small goods than a Michelin restaurant! And it’s has fresh bakery’s everyday! Everything from Nutella, croissants, cheese tray, different dried ham, fresh fruit, fresh bread. On the roof there is a terrace wich you can see the cathedral from. Or just chill on the evnings. The staff is absolutely amazing! So observant and polite. They made the whole visit❤️ We will definitely be back!

The best hotel I have visited so far! The interior is so beautiful and tasteful. The staff is super friendly. Also the Brunch was very good and healthy. Of you are vegan better tell beforehand. All in all, a great experience
