Had a wonderful weekend getaway here, it's simple comfortable and affordable. The room was very clean, the communal roof terrace and coffee lounge were kept clean tidy and well stocked. The Lady on reception is so wonderfully helpful, charming, and warm. For the price we were all exceptionally pleased with our stay and will definitely stay again. In terms of location, bars shops and amenities are literally on the doorstep but none seemed to cause late night noise. The beach and port is a 5-10 minute walk, the main shopping area is easily accessible by foot bus or taxi and the locality seemed reasonably quiet at night. The room we had was not air conditioned and was very hot even at night, for me this wasn't a problem but some that struggle to sleep might find it difficult in the heat. Also the entrance and accommodation all involved stairs so not great for those with any access issues. Myself and friends would highly recommend this hotel for a short get away which is located ideally for exploring the quaint meandering streets of Las canteras and its traditional Spanish Charm.

It is what it is at the end of the day. A budget hotel. We did swap to a 'slightly' better room. Not good for a longer holiday, ok for one or two nights. Stairs are narrow and steep with no real hand rail, just ropes. Lighting not all that good throughout either. Staff helpful and friendly and the maids do they're best. Quite a lot of noise on the top floor from outside and ftom the water pump(?) on the roof. Beds uncomfortable and basic. More like a hostel, not a hotel. Free coffee/cakes from 8am to 8pm & WiFi are a plus but you wouldn't want to spend your days here.

An easy room, you get what you pay for. It's cheap and nice if you aren't going to spend yours days at the Hotel. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Room was very small, but clean. Choice of breakfast was a little limited for my taste, but I think that depends on your preferences. Lots of little biscuit type things, as well as sandwiches and croissants. No juices. Helpful reception staff. No lift. Nice roof terrace, if a bit basic.

Civil reception, it's better than many posher hotels that they let you arrive after 2 + leave by 12, ensuite room with key + wifi, code for front door. Entrance marked by a red porch-roof. Easy to find from the castle.
