It claims to be a 4 star hotel... I'm sure it was in 1977. Old, dreary, not so clean.

Hotel well located next to the beach, very good infrastructure, food could be more diverse. I booked an all inclusive package but at the time I found out that drinks were not included.

Excellent location in relation to bus stop, shops and beach! Service by hotel staff is excellent and all very friendly and helpful. Rooms, like others have mentioned, are a little bit dated however the bathrooms felt like they must have been recently refurbished (rooms will need refurbing sooner or later!). Some rooms have balconies too and I was very pleased that mine had one. There is a bar downstairs and a rooftop pool with area to sun lounge too.

Great hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful pool area on 7th floor with the BEST views. Great bar on the first floor with friendly staff. Very close to the prominade and beach and surrounded by great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity.

    1. We were limited to just one room key 2. The lack of privacy became evident as I could clearly hear my neighbors from the other rooms. 3. The bad isolated door make hallway conversations disturbingly audible, almost as if there's no door at all. 4. There's a significant amount of dust in both the room and the breakfast hall. 5. The pool? Cold and unclean. 6. Breakfast? What a letdown. Despite a convenient location and the friendly staff, the overall quality did not match the price. This hotel falls short of expectations. Don't think I would come back.

Arrived October 2022 after a very long day traveling and the receptionist informed us that the pool was closed for a month. Breakfast was awful, limited choice and what they did have was unappetising. View from room was the convenience store on the main noisy street. Luckily we had booked with Jet2 and were moved to a beautiful hotel right on the front.

Rooms are very mediocre, bathroom was nice however. (but water was poor quality-nitpicky but still true) pool on roof is nice, restaurant pretty good too. Main attraction is the fact it's about a 45 second walk from the beach. Staff seem very nice and helpful.

This is an older property but has a lot going for it! (We had fairly low expectations due to some of the reviews) but were actually pleasantly surprised. The Hotel is in a great location 2 mins walk to the beach and lots of great bars and restaurants. It’s quiet and yet rooms are comfy and spacious ( if a little dated) but extremely clean, really comfortable beds. Good shower and bathrooms too) there is a mini fridge and a hairdryer and you can also get beach towels at reception for a €10 euro deposit. Finally the rooftop terrace is sheltered with lots of sunbeds and parasols and theres a good sized pool (a bit chilly even in May but definitely swimable!!) we really enjoyed our stay and for the money this is an excellent option and great base to explore lovely Gran Canaria.

Old damaged furniture. Dirty rooms. Loud street outside the windows. Looks like everything was build in the 70s, run down. Boring food. Way to expensive

Nice hotel close to the playa de las Canteras. Rooms are ok although they do not have a balcony, or at least ours didn't. Staff very friendly and available. They could improve breakfast and meals (especially because the restaurant room boasts an impressive view of the beach and the sea).

Room is nice and quiet. Little bar fridge as seen in photo. But no sea view, unless stand on the balcony and stretch over. However, perhaps a more expensive room would include a view. Pool and deck chairs on the 7th floor are really lovely with great views of the beach and nearby mountains.

A lovely hotel a little behind the times but no worse off for it. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are a good standard. The pool is on the roof and offers great views and a lovely place to relax away from the usually windy beach. The restaurant is one floor below the pool and offers similar views and is a great spot to eat. We only ate breakfast and found it to be hit and miss on quality. We did look at the dinner and decided against it. We'd recommend breakfast only it is fine and offers a good start to the day. Although the same can probably be said for other meals. The location is the key feature of the hotel as it's a stone's throw from the beach and provides easy access to many bars and restaurants. The staff deserve an extra mention as they were always smiling and happy to assist with anything. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the rooms have no actual balconies and most of them are shadowed by the surrounding buildings. Which means there are no views to be had and the room is quite dark. However it does provide excellent lighting for lie ins. Highly recommended if you are looking for a base to experience Gran Canaria.
