The ultimate boutique hotel experience we were looking for. Imagine a cozy small hotel designed beautifully with the perfect combination of old and new architecture. Add to that a very personal and charming service from any staff you meet. Kind of staff that will do everything with a big smile and a can do approach. Gay friendly and all friendly actually :) Breakfast takes place on a beautiful rooftop overlooking the old city. Every morning you can choose 2 dishes out of a well thought of menu (food restrictions are considered in advanced). All the dishes we tried were delicious and fresh. The location is amazing and you can easily get around. It’s not close to the fun beaches but a 6 eur taxi ride would get you there.

My husband and I stayed at VEINTIUNO for Christmas (23rd-29th Dec) and it was absolutely glorious! The hotel itself is so sleek and modern, and feels really fresh and up to date (I'm a sucker for a place with good style!). Our room was spacious and the bed was vast and comfortable. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, they really go above and beyond to help you- we even got a little gift on Christmas! The rooftop is the absolute cherry on the cake though. The laying out space and pool are wonderful! The loungers are spaced out enough that you have your own areas and it doesn't feel cramped. It feels peaceful and relaxed, which is just what we were looking for. There is also a bar on the rooftop which is an honesty bar that you help yourself from and make note of what you take, which worked perfectly! The breakfast is also fantastic- a great menu and so delicious. I have a nut allergy which can be tricky for me when away, but they knew every day that I was the one with the allergy and I felt it very safe hands. The breakfast times are also great- 8-11, meaning you don't have to rush to make it! The location was perfect for us too- bang smack in the middle of the Old Town. We were a stone's throw from museums, the cathedral, and incredible bars and restaurants. We already can't wait to go back!

Probably one of (if not THE) best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect location in the old quarters. The interior design of both common areas and the rooms are beautiful, but also relaxed and “homey”. Really comfortable room. Beautiful rooftop with spectacular views of the church (even though we didn’t use it much because of the weather). Great breakfast. Excellent and helpful staff. Will definitely visit Las Palmas again just to be able to stay here once more!

Perfect place to stay in the heart of the old town of Las Palmas. Located in a charming area, just next to Casa Colon and cathedral Santa Ana. Nice restaurants and bars in the streets around, but away from mass tourism. Beautiful boutique hotel with lovely staff!

Really enjoyed my stay! The interior is beautiful with some authentic accents, the rooftopbar to have a drink at night and the amazing swimming pool with a view on the cathedral.

Maybe is the mindset of a holiday seeker, who wants to see only the + sides of everything and everyone when the holiday has started…This thought has forced me to be as impartial as possible😉nonetheless my impression of Veintiuno and its staff is impeccable-for someone like me into art, history and panoramic views- this place checks all the boxes. The location is magic-right in the core of the historical town, adjacent to well restored buildings (some of them transformed in museums), the majestic dome of Las Palmas and the streets’ conundrum that comes from the medieval layout. Veintiuno staff and its manager are extremely nice- if you are chatty like myself, you won’t need more than a minute to engage them in interesting conversations and get to know a lot about anything you fancy around the city and the island. I don’t need to go into the details of the pretty rooms and the hotel itself, the cleaning service and the tasty breakfast. If you have read my commentary up to this point, you are already quite impressed by the pictures and you are looking for the “extras”, which I gave away already: striking authenticity and friendliness. Thank you for the gift, Alex.

Our second stay at this boutique hotel. Situated in one of the most attractive cobbled streets in La Vegueta, it has a lot to offer, especially if you are looking for some peaceful and relaxing downtime. The rooftop facilities, including an honesty bar, are excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and personify the phrase 'service with a smile'!

A lovely boutique hotel with a stunning terrace, excellent à la carte breakfast options and the most congenial hosts and attentive staff who made us feel at home the minute we walked through the door. Aside from our cozy room with the comfortable bed we really enjoyed the neighbourhood of Las Palmas' historical center and how easily accessible beaches and other parts of the city and island were by bus. Alexandra and Giusy provided us with much appreciated restaurant recommendations and directions and even made some reservations for us. One minor thing: Since the stylishly furnished and generally quiet colonial house has some creaky wooden floors, consider bringing earplugs, if your room is located on the ground floor. All in all a stay at Veintiuno feels like spending time at your friends' beautiful summer residence, sincere hospitality, local knowledge and insider tips all inclusive.

If you want a hotel with a staff nicer than you've ever met before, come to this place. We didn't even stay here but they were so helpful with our needs that they deserve 5 stars in itself. Thank you to whomever worked 27. Desember at 21:45!

Initially I was surprised to see so many 5* ratings as it’s so rare.. I now know why! It was the most perfect stay:) the owners and staff are all so helpful , kind and genuinely care about their guests. We had a wonderful time, the breakfast is cooked fresh everyday and comes with the most wonderful fresh squeezed orange juice to go with it 😍the rooms are airy and have very high ceilings and it’s one of the best beds we’ve had in a hotel. I couldn’t recommend it enough and we can’t wait to return. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

One of my favourite hotel experiences….ever Location: perfectly situated in the old town close to a beautiful cathedral. Rooms: immaculate, comfortable, well designed, very boutique feeling to them. Staff: service was so welcoming, everyone of them you start to get to know them all since it’s a smaller place. Then went the extra mile for me in some instances.

Amazing hotel!...No complaints at all...the owners are very kind and take personal care. The room has huge ceilings ..its a converted 200 year old mansion... The breakfast is served on rooftop and wow it's great too..all in all recommended.. The cathedral is 50 m away from.hotel and you get an amazing view of it...we also got to watch the Easter parade!

Great spot when you are looking for a quiet cozy hotel in Vegueta (the historic center of Las Palmas) with amazing terrace and privileged views to the cathedral. Very amicable staff throughout the hotel. Breakfast: photos speak for themselves!! 😋

We had an amazing stay here for a week in September. The hotel itself is beautiful inside with lots of lovely design elements, we were upgraded to a larger room which was perfect for a longer stay and the staff were super friendly and gave us lots of tips on where to go. Breakfast was great, six different options to mix and match from each day served on the rooftop terrace with gorgeous views of the cathedral. Location is in the historical old time, perfect for wondering around cobbled streets and lots of nice bars, restaurant and shopping spots nearby ,We rented a car to get to other parts of the island, and the hotel has a deal with a carpark a few minutes walk away for 12eur a day which was a lot cheaper than other car parks around. The only thing that would have been amazing would have been to have tea and coffee making equipment in the room, but it was available by reception. 100% recommend for a relaxing stay in Las Palmas.

Had a delightful stay for a couple of nights at the Hotel Veintiuno. The staff were welcoming and ever ready to please, especially both the ladies at reception. The rooms are comfortable and well-designed. The delicious breakfast is served on a great patio. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place where you'll feel like you're staying in a home away from home.

Hotel Vientiuno, where the warmth of the staff could defrost the iciest of souls, and the Italian girl's niceness levels skyrocketed past the usual continental charm. Breakfast, my friends, was not just a meal; it was an epicurean awakening, a culinary journey that made me question my life choices—especially the ones that didn't involve daily visits to Hotel Vientiuno. Now, about the room – it was a cozy haven, but, alas, no mini-fridge. Apparently, they believe in keeping your snacks at room temperature, embracing a avant-garde approach to chilling. Who needs a cool beverage when you can enjoy the thrilling suspense of room-temperature refreshments? I suppose the lack of a mini-fridge is their way of encouraging guests to embark on a culinary adventure beyond the confines of their room. "Explore the local flavors!" they whisper, as you contemplate the practicality of storing a pint of gelato at room temperature. In the grand scheme of the Hotel Vientiuno experience, the absence of a mini-fridge is a mere blip on the radar – a quirky oversight in an otherwise flawless symphony. So, pack your sense of humor along with your toothbrush, and revel in the irony of refrigeration rebellion at this charming 4-star abode. After all, who needs a chilled drink when you can have a room temperature one with a side of Italian kindness? Saluti!

We had a great time, this is such a beautiful hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. The vibe is very relaxed and quiet. The view from the rooftop is stunning and the interior is very beautiful. The only thing that could be improved in my opinion: self service water and orange juice at breakfast.

Everything a boutique hotel should be - great character and personality, lovely fixtures and fittings, comfy rooms, a fab roof terrace/bar/plunge pool, great food … and above all you and the team were so friendly and welcoming (they recommended some excellent restaurants too)

What a great experience: awesome location in the historical city, great helpful staff, fluent in English, old building renovated with a lot of style and classy design. The breakfast on the roof was delicious and we even had it outside mid September. A really nice experience!

We recently returned from a 4-night stay at Hotel Veintiuno and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is situated in a lovely area of the old city and right next to the scenic cathedral. The building itself has been beautifully restored, with a mix of original features and modern styling. However, the real star of the show is the fantastic team that were so friendly and helpful during our stay. From the delicious breakfast every morning to recommendations of places to see and eat, they were faultless. The owners Alex and Paco are great hosts and always around lending a hand with the guests. Not a single detail was lost - from sorting out parking to remembering a birthday! I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Gran Canaria and it's the top of our list next time we return. Our thanks to the entire team!

Beautiful hotel, in the perfect location. Rooms are spacious and silent at night, bed is comfy. Breakfast is delicious. The owners are both absolutely lovely and so so helpful with all and any questions and recommendations. Would happily return for a second stay!

On arrival and throughout our stay the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always offering advice on restaurants and things to do in the local area. The hotel itself and decor is truly beautiful and a lot of care and attention has been put into it and the layout. Attention to detail is seen throughout and to a very high standard. The breakfast menu was simple and delicious. Very fresh and tasty. Rooftop setting is like no other. Intimate with stunning views of the Cathedral and a lovely plunge pool. Lovely place for brunch or a drink in the evening. Room was beautiful. Comfy beds and quiet. Minimalist style but has everything you need. The only thing we did struggle to find was the carpark on arrival and navigating the streets. However the staff were extremely helpful and assisted us with this. The owners Alexandra and Paco were so lovely and went above and beyond to help us. They even sorted some lovely dinner reservations for us. They have something really special here and it was a delight to stay for a few nights.

The hotel is truely a wonderful and peaceful place! We highly recommand it: for its location (next to the cathedral, nearby many restaurants), the extemely friendly and helpfull staff, the exquisit and healthy breakfast, and for the sunny rooftop with the beautiful views. The rooms are spotless clean and modern with comfy beds and high quality pillows. The only thing missing are coffee facilities in the room but you can get free coffee and water downstairs at any time you want.

We spend a romantic couple time here and it was one of the best experiences we ever had. The 3 best aspects were the rooftop, the breakfast and the service by owners and staff. Additionally the location and the general facility quality are to mention. Very good food options are around, every taxi driver knows the cathedral in front. You can go here easy by bus from the airport too.
