The hotel is fine for being a two star hotel, as long as you don't expect much. Nice staff, clean rooms, and a very good location. Not the best place if you like spending a lot of time in your hotel room, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep, hotel Olympia is as good as it can get.

Great hotel, centric and good price

All the other people that rate this hotel badly are spolied. The lady is nice, the bed is huge, the furniture are vintage and cool, amazing value.

We had arrived having found our original hotel double booked so we were taken here by a local restaurant owner after being left stranded. Vitoria was so welcoming and really helped us. She got us water and showed us to the room we were staying for 1 night. We ended up staying the week, clean friendly pleasant and close to absolutely everything. Fresh towels bedding daily We will stay here again. Highly recommended

This old hotel is perfectly located near the Las Canteras beach and hundreds of bars near the hotel. Rooms are old but cozy. Beds were good, with large covered blankets and very large pillow. I did not notice any noise from streets, I was staying at fourth floor. Only some noise from other rooms when people banging doors in the middle of the night, but that is not hotel's fault. I want to thank the older couple who runs the hotel. They are awesomely friendly and helpful in everything you need!! Highly recommended hotel! See you again for sure!

I totally agree with you all that the old lady in the reception are awesome. And I can only say sorry to you all that stayed at the hotel same days as me.. when i was snoring loudly! I guess you didn’t get much sleep! Just ask my room mate. I’ll be back Olympia

Smoky room, bad sound insulation and the windows didn’t close properly. It is located near a very busy place at night so not a good idea to sleep early. Well the price is reasonable, you get what you paid for. That’s why 2 stars otherwise only 1.
