Dreadful experience 1. Very small public / communal area. 2. Space in rooms very limited and under EU Regulations Directive CR/623/334 concerning habitable space in a sleeping area probably contravenes current legislation and is therefore illegal. It wouldn't be acceptable for animals, why anybody would think it's OK for human beings is a little odd. In addition, the communal bathroom was full of rubbish and boxes etc etc. Nowhere to hang clothes or things in bathroom or room. 3. Music being played all day and night from the reception area which doubles up as a lounge area. You don't HAVE to have music playing all the time, especially when there is a room next to Reception/lounge. 4. Too many volunteers taking up - when they're 'relaxing' all the available public/communal space, whether it be cooking or all the many meetings they have. 5. The hostel seems to be run for the benefit of the many volunteers/workers rather than paying guests 6. Paying guests are the priority, I shouldn't have to hear the gossip/talk of volunteers who have been in hostel for months - it doesn't happen in a hotel and a hostel is not any different - plus it's very boring. 7. Part Solution to these issues is to increase public space massively (obviously reducing total number of beds to sell to customers) and / or reduce number of volunteers/workers - of course if decreasing number of volunteers that might mean they wld have to do more work and then maybe they couldn't be 'volunteers' anymore. There's the rub....

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke and a disgrace. Avoid at all costs. I've stayed in hostels all over the world and LOVE hostel life but this is by far the WORST ONE OF ALL TIME. Paid extra for a room with an ensuite bathroom only to arrive and be told my room is the one behind the reception desk in the living room, with a wall that might as well be made from cardboard since it's paper thin. It gets better: this room has no lock therefore no privacy from the staff who are constantly opening the door whenever they bloody feel like. The hostel apparently has a quiet period after 11pm but for each of my 6 nights here there was been dozens of people, loud music, shouting, jam sessions late into the night. The one night I tried saying something they told me to get ear plugs. Also during check-in and my entire stay the staff were the most rude people we encountered in Las Palmas - got no information about events or day trips, missed out on a tapas night in old town because they didn't tell us about it. Do not stay here, location is great but not worth the awful experience. Everyone in my room were strangers but we all agreed - this was the worst hostel experience of our lives.

Quite big hostel with many rooms. Its not as spacious as other hostels nearby. It has a rooftop terrace but the view is a bit blocked. Also the fake grass matts on the rooftop reflect to much sunlight so it can get unbearably hot up there in the afternoon. You dont need a key there because the staff will open the door for you 24/7. Cool thing not to have a key but its crazy for the staff who need to open your door every day 24 hours its not bad, but given the choice in the area i would stay there only if better options are not free

The hostel was dirty and the staff very rude. Expecially the coordinator seems not to have idea of what she is doing. The room they gave us was very noisy, ground floor with a 3 metrs high window with no tent that lets the light come in from 7 in the morning. And they knew we where travelling with a baby. The hostel is self flagged child friendly and don't even have a high chair. The kitchen is a Picasso painting, with the fridge and the only two drawers for hosts completly packed and no room for your stuff. The common table for eating is 1 square meter, supposed to be enough for 22 hosts. There are only 3 restroom and you have to ambush the shower in order to get in. In one of them there is also a warning for male hosts to pee sitted. And is the most expensive hostel in town. Plenty of other accomodations in that area. Just don't go there.

Stayed here back in 2017! I'm still keeping amazing memories from this place where I stayed less than a week. Met amazing people including the staff, rooms were great, clean with power sockets next to each bed, comfy common areas, there's a terrace (although not always open and barely a view on the beach), location is just next to the beach, they provided towels... Probably the location of Las Palmas helped as I just loved the city and the island!!

It's very cozy place same like home ,they are cleaning the place every day, changing towels ,in the showers is always shampoo and shower gel for using and they also have hair straightener and hair dryer so you don't have to bring anything of this. The staff is very friendly and they always make some activities inside and outside from the hostel. The location is great the atmosphere everything ! It's definitely a place to visit !

A very friendly and relaxed hostel in the heart of Las Palmas. If you want to meet people and don't care about the lack of sleep, this is your destination. Although, the dorms are quite tight and packed with beds and there is almost no place to store your luggage, they constantly win over their guest's hearts with the great atmosphere. P.S. The terrace is the best!

Worst hostel experience ever! The only thing this place has going for it is its location. It's right next to the beach and an easy walk from Santa Catalina Park. But that does not make up for the HORRENDOUS staff that works there. When I arrived i was told that my room was the one adjacent to the reception/common area, but it did have an ensuite bathroom so I didn't complain. Unfortunately I quickly learned that the wall separating my room and the party area was paper thin, and did nothing to block the noise. On both Friday and Saturday night my roommates and I were kept awake by the staff's blaring music, loud talking, and obnoxious laughter that continued until 2am (often yelling things like sleep is overrated). Mind you this hostel advertises quiet hours after 11pm, LIES. The one night we attempted to complain about the noise we were told to get earplugs by the staff, who continued their "party" for another hour or so. The hostel also advertises 24 hour reception, however we were loudly awoken at 2:30 am by guests desperately pressing the alarm to no avail, as the "receptionist" had fallen asleep on the couch and failed to let the guests in until WE woke him up. Overall this hostel is NOT WORTH the location, there are better choices. Don't stay here if you want to sleep or experience basic respect as a paying customer. SHAME!

I come here every year. Travelers come and go. Staff members come and go. The tide comes in, the tide goes out. Can't explain that! Recommend surfing and snorkeling, Hong Kong restaurant, Saturday evening on playa de musica. This place is for really chill people. If you want fast pace, go skydiving...
