Good vibe, nice environment feel authentic that is not old fashion. Very attentive staffs who knew what they were doing, they speak decent English. We order seafood platter for two which is very recommended. We ordered the standard seafood platter. Super delicious and is outstanding considering the price! As someone who grew up at a city with the best variety of seafood in the world, I found the shell fish a bit small (perhaps not in season) but there are many different types seafood, all grilled with garlic and oil! Wish I could go back again to try the paella It’s a must-try in the area !! The cream brûlée is not the standard one though, it tasted more like custard and not very warm.

We were looking forward to having dinner here today, and unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Service, and cleanness 10 out of 10. But for a place so well reviewed for the fresh fish and seafood, we have been served frozen seafood. A gentleman from the kitchen came with a bucket and collected fish packs from a room on the terrace where we were sitting. Even though we asked about freshness and availability. Also, the price was not clearly specified as on the menu was 29/30€ portion x 2 pers. And we paid 30€ each. Most expensive dinner on the island since we came, which would have been okay and acceptable if not for frozen seafood :/ Definitely not returning.

Service here is second to none! And the food is the best I’ve had so far. Everything came out super quickly. The place is spot on. And overall presentation of the meals was lovely! For being on the seafront it’s not that expensive really for the quality of food! You have to try their most famous Canarian Desert.

I travel a lot and dine out frequently. I love cooking and enjoying good food. With a severe lack of good restaurants in Puerto Rico, I chose this place based on its allegedly good rating. Sadly this place doesn't even closely warrant its current rating so I felt compelled to write a review to provide constructive feedback to the owners for improvement. Owners: Please use this feedback constructively rather than trying to discredit my feedback when I've taken time time to give you feedback to help. I read the paella was good here but after seeing the small pan they used to serve 2 people at the table opposite I ordered the fresh red snapper fish dish the waiter was adamant was the best option. Sadly the fish was flattened and fried on both sides. And coated in a red sauce that tasted like paprika powder. My wife ordered another fish dish that experienced the same smash and fry with a green sauce that tasted like cornflour. The only white wine they had by glass was Faustino VII which is bargain basement and poor quality Rioja wine. House wine should be selected to showcase a decent level of quality. Service was good. I just wish they would raise their food standards and learn how to cook fish well when they're a seafood restaurant.

So happy I found this place. If I had known about it the first day of my holidays I would have eaten there everyday. We had the seafood platter. It was perfect, lots of shellfish and grilled fish. We had the local dessert "Uruguayan Dust" (I forget the name in spanish). It is amazing. We went back the next day for a takeaway lunch and had the "Black spaghetti seaman's style" and it was divine. The staff were lovely, the location perfect and the prices very reasonable. Could not recommend this restaurant enough.

Pysähdyimme illalliselle tähän satamaravintolaan ilman pöytävarausta. Onneksi saatiin paikat näkymällä satamaan. Saimme suosituksen tuoreesta kalasta. Söimme herkulliset meribassi ja tonnikala annokset. Myös talon valkoviini oli hyvää. Tulemme varmaan uudestaan.

It's just lovely to eat great fish by the sea. Better at night, in my opinion, as during the day hustle and bustle of busy beach. However, that said, the food is excellent whatever the time of day. Service is great, and introduction to a new wine was much appreciated. Will definitely be going back on our next visit.

AMAZING!!! We went to Grill Costa Mar for fresh fish and we weren't disappointed! It was delicious!! All servers are very nice and take time to explain the menu! I recommend this place, make sure you go at least once during your vacation! We are planning to go again before we leave Gran Canaria!

Nice place, stunningly fresh salad with food, lovely paella, lovely fish. Only niggle was bones in the Mrs's seabass and the skin was a bit soggy (I had the catch of the day and it was perfect). Kids loved the paella (so did I 😜). Yep recommend.

Nice seafood menu and very nice staff However, if you dont have a reservation you'll stay in an area bit separate of the restaurant which feels a bit weird also that you'll pay the same like others. Then, €16,90 for 6 scallops ?!?!?!??! Really ???? YES ! 6 scallops at the size of thumb nail will cost you €16,90 and that says everything. Im not saying about anything else as this got my attention in a very bad way comparing with other restaurants around. Really nice staff but good bye, never again

We went today as we saw so nice​ comments about this place. I work in hospitality and I haven't seen tastes such delicious food as that. Mussels and Costa mar salad to start, then a medium lobster, and a sea bass for two in the oven with 1 beer still water and coke. 87 euros...... That's a bliss. Thank you guys.

We had special sea food platter. Amazing and so fresh. Cant fault the food. Only one negative, waiter was very miserable, no interaction with us. Guy who brought food and wine out was very pleasant.

Dropped in for a quick drink. A small beer 1€ (Feb23) which is great value. Laid back friendly bar restaurant overlooking the harbour. Nice place to chill and watch the boats.

We were here today and had some excellent red snapper filet, amazing fresh oysters and a really good apple crumble. Price is absolutely fair. Staff is friendly! I can highly recommend this when you are in Puerto Rico. Best wishes from Germany

Food was okay. Taste was a little on the bland side. More courage for better seasoning would be greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the freshly squeezed juices and cocktails though. Nice view on the harbor too.

Really good fish, my wife ordered a red snapper fillet with pistachio sauce and i orderd another fish( can't remeber the type) with pimientos sauce and both were excellent, the snapper with the pistachio sauce was amazing, liked it more then mine 😋, my daughter had from the kids menu sausages with fries, she liked it ( she has british tastes so it was fine for her 😄) they tasted like the english sausages you get in Britain, not to my liking but they are loved for a reason i guess. Service was fast considering the place was over half full when we ordered, staff were kind and friendly, prices were good considering the location and that it's 2022. Will go back to try the seafood paella as the table next to us orderd it looked grand, and will steer my daughter to order the fish from the kids menu 😄 Higly recommend to go if in Puerto Rico and try the fishes and sea food as they seem to make them really nice.

An absolute pleasure. Food was great and the staff were great. We ate here twice The seafood is fresh, excellently prepared and properly served. The steak on my second visit was a little overcooked and they offered to change it but I declined as it was delicious. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is how it is done. I highly recommend Grill Costa Mar.

We took white wine sangria, mixed (meat and seafood) paella and two starters, tuna tartar and bruchetta. Especially the starters were really good and tasted so fresh, and the paella was good as well but it lacked salt. On the other hand, I think that might be how paella is meant to be served, with a risotto like, creamy rice and not that many spices or salt, but tasty meat and seafood. A good experience all in all!

Good place to eat fresh fish. The atmosphere is not special, but it serves it purpose. The service and people working are very friendly and helpful. The paella was good. Definitely go here for a good meal!
