The place to stare at ocean. You cannot swim there, but you will feel the power of ocean anyway. Comfortable benches and a lot of youth

very nice beach, small but complete, both sand and rocks. very nice fireworks and partytime during the season. good restaurants, and good starting point for paths in the nature.

Good surprise, unexpected place... Colorful... Nice topical Spanish village with locals and very few tourists. Don't expect the best Beach in the world but something colorful in the north of Gran Canaria. Same for the restaurant.. nothing fancy but with local food and fresh fish... If you like these things, then go... If you are only interested in Beaches and sun, then go the south

A very small beach which can get busy at holiday period but clean and safe that as also plenty of free parking with quite a few good restaurants Puertillo has become a lot better over the years the people here are so lovely.

Natural swimming pool means you can swim in the sea without worrying about large waves or rocks. It's fun.

Nice place to enjoy seen the waves! We were in a windy day and we didn’t swim.

It was a pleasantly warm late evening when we spotted a number of local people dancing and listening to the music at El Puertillo beach. It was such a pleasure to see how they spent their evenings totally relaxed with kids swimming in water and playing at the beach. Such a lively vibe !
