Absolutely beautiful place to hike/walk in the mountains. Scenery is breath-taking and we hardly saw anyone. Gorgeous mountain pine forests and trails. The climb to the top where we went up is very steep but well worth it. We took a picnic with us and sat down on the pine needle floor to have our lunch and it was so peaceful and wonderful in the shade with the sun shining through the trees. One of the best places on Gran Canaria for wonderful scenery in my opinion. The drive to the area also has amazing views but some of the road bends were a bit scary so drive cautiously. When it is dry and there are pine needles on the forest floor the slopes descending can be slippery so certainly we found hiking poles useful.

It's a must go if you love hiking and nature. I also recommend you take a tent and have a sleepover on the top. You can hike all day long, but don't go alone, because it's too remote of a place. The view, vibe, peace on the top is something you must find out for yourself. Also pack a scarf, because it can get quite windy up there.

One of the most beautiful places of Gran Canaria. Definitely worth the climb to the top. Amazing views and photo places of hills, valleys, ocean and also Tenerife.

A blue pond with a waterfall, we went in November so the waterfall was a trickle and there were tadpoles and frogs in the pond. It is a 30min walk from the road over a rough path. The pool is shaded and very relaxing, I'm sure in summer or after the rainy season it's amazing.

Just do it! You won’t regret it...... This national park is absolutely amazing. I hiked through the park for four days on different trails, eg, where one trail ends another one begins. The trails vary in difficulty and overall times for different trails. There are incredible views of the valleys, the switchback highways that get you there, the forest, mountains, shorelines, the calima weather and the island of Tenerife with mount Teide. I was staggered by everything! I was picnicking on mountain tops and enjoying the serenity of nature. The peace and silence was a centring experience. There are also many caves that I used as shelter throughout my trekking from the sun as I was doing the trails in mid July and in thirty eight plus degrees. Be sure to bring lots of fruit and water to keep your energy and hydration levels consistent

Wonderful place with interesting plants and countryside views. I recommend to visit one of the restaurants in the port "Puerto de las Nieves". They will offer you a great selection of fresh fish. Agaete is a port town with beautiful modern architecture.

Beautiful hiking trail. We hiked up the mountain to our hotel then down into a valley with a river where we found a shallow concrete drainage ditch which we followed for the remainder of our walk. It was a very pleasant hike with breathtaking views and I highly recommend it

Breathtaking views when you drive up the road. You can walk through rocky paths to Charco azur waterfall.

Absolutely worth the drive. The view is breath-taking and there are many hiking tracks. I’d recommend bringing a picknick and watching the sunset above the clouds.

Enjoyed a beautiful hike in a pine forest and around water reservoirs These water reservoirs supply the Agaete Valley with water.

A was here✅ Remote mountain villages nestled on the slopes of rugged mountains, deep gorges and imposing mountain peaks are among the highlights that await you when hiking in Gran Canaria. Blossoming almond trees and extensive orange plantations characterize the landscape, as do cacti and palm trees swaying in the wind. In short: the island is a tropical paradise, almost on your doorstep, which you can explore on Gran Canaria thanks to a number of circular hiking trails. Wonder But there is no shortage of thrills on the "Island of Eternal Spring", because the varied hiking routes allow you dream views over the Atlantic and accompany you to remote cave houses and extinct volcanoes.

Mostly hiked through at night but the parts I saw at day were beautiful. Going down to Agaete in darkness not recommended, The squeaky-toy birds may not appreciate.

This location is not correct for hiking trail/parking etc. please change this on Google maps. And check out activa recretiva area. I think that might be the correct location to park and hike

Very nice Natural Park with no so dense forest but with enough shadows. Choose your track very well and down load track maps before because of very low or no internet connection there. Bring warm clothes and proper shoes for hiking (good but not light sneakers would be fine) enough water and food. On the top can be windy and cloudy so be prepared well and check weather forecast before!

Beautiful views well worth going , unforrunately there were forest fires and we were unable to see it all. If your not squeemish you have to go ec65roadway for the best postcard views stunning roads hairy bends and no barriers but so worth it.
