The absolute highlight in this small village, a water cascade surrounded by beautiful mosaics on the wall. Further on, each island of the Canary Islands will be presented individually in small format and provided with mosaics. You wouldn't expect that in such a small place. But you can see other things, like the church and the town hall, with a square in front of it and a playground next to it. Everything was beautifully laid out and a kind of underground water channel with a description of its previous use. Firgas should benefit greatly from this because mineral water is bottled from a spring here.

Very nice and small place to visit, called Firgas. You can walk around, you can see the cities around. There is also a 🛒. The air is very fresh and the way is mainly on the highway if you want to arrive fast. I can only recommend it! 🤗

It is a nicely built artificial waterfall in the center of the stairs coming down. From halfway of the stairs, flows the water down, and on every step, it gives an effect of small waterfall. The wall on the side of waterfall is covered with Ceramics in artistic form and is picturesque. In the center of another half of stairs, the map of all islands of Gran Canaria is shown with geographic details made of Ceramic, another amazing piece of art. It was worth stopping by for a quick look and take some pictures. 🙂

Absolutely worth the visit, especially if you’ve explored multiple cities and villages within Gran Canaria and/or visited multiple islands within Las Canarias (of which we did both). We parked, did a quick walk-through, and went on our way.

Such an amazing site! The water falling down through the mosaic tiles of each pool is breathtaking. If you’re on Gran Canaria, I highly suggest making a stop through Firgas to see them, and to explore the other historical sites nearby. You won’t be disappointed!!!

A good place to get to know the different islands of the Canary Islands. It's recommended to start at the top and walk all the way down. Per part you get a 3D view of the island with some fun facts like the surface area and highest point. To walk past these mosaics, there isn't a lot of soace and there is no guideline about the direction the tourists need to take.

Very nice attraction to this small town. Shame we visited on epiphany day when just about everywhere was closed. Did find a bar and got a nice coffee but sandwiches were terrible 😕

The stairs with the small waterfalls, the tiled benches and wall decorations on the sides look very impressive. You should already plan for a tour through the mountains.

A tourist destination. Just seeing it once is enough. Took a few photos and then nothing more. The benches with tiles that represent individual cities are nice to look at. In the middle there is the fountain and further up the panels made of tiles with the various islands. Gastronomy was modest. Being there once is enough.

Quite small place. There is actually one nice street and that's it 😀 But worth to make short visit if you're driving nearby.

Charming little place. Here you can admire the Canary Islands lovingly crafted in tile form. There is a parking lot right around the corner.

Firgas on mukava pikku kylä jossa hienoa nähtävää. Parkkipaikka voi olla hankala löytää kun on niin suosittu paikka vierailla

A beautiful place with a lot of visitors. The best time is late in the afternoon. A good "pit stop" if you are in a road trip across canaria.

Worth a short stop to see these waterfall mosaics that run along the street. There is a free municipal car park close by. The square adjacent is great to sit and enjoy a packed lunch. There are clean free toilets next to the falls.

Lovely quaint detail in the Gran Canaria tour. Cascading waters of Firgas. Not sure if it was safe to drink, but that didn't stop lots of people from sampling. The historical plaques and seats are cool for selfish. Quiet rural town in the middle of the North. Worth a visit

Beautiful landmark for all islands situated in the city center with nice 3D views. Even if it's a small city and very cozy, this sightseeing is good to see and take wonderful photos. On the other round, you can read for each panoramic view the geographical details for each Canarian Island. I recommend this place!

I have not seen a lot of this village but the street going up there is pretty cute. First you see this water basin and higher there are tiles with paitings from the canarian islands and 3d models of it. On the sides of the first part are also litte benches with pictures of places. :) So the street up there is very cute to take a Look at if you're there.

Completely fascinating little town. The photos speak for themselves! Walk the town and try the churros at the coffee shop on the way in - amazing.

Loved the stairs! But next to the stairs there really isn't that much to Firgas.
