We were very pleased with this place, spending a few hours walking around looking at the exhibits, despite the heat. Thankfully, there is a small cafeteria on site. Overall, the visit was educational, fun, and relaxing. I certainly recommend stopping here.

Good place to explore and views are really breath taking from the top. A place you can visit while on the way to Fataga. The place take around1 hr to explore make sure you carry water with you on a sunny day. It wasn't so busy when we went there. The tickets you have to buy on the entrance. After we finished the tour the ticket had free tea or coffee, so we sat down and had coffee and kids had slushies.

The best museo I have seen on the whole island. We've spent here like 3hrs, relaxed a lot, saw how a pre-Hispanic life looked like, lots, of animals, plants and also had a great coffee included in a price of a ticket. Definitely a must - see. One thing I would improve is hiring more people like this giant man with a horn, to talk about the exhibitions.

Sadly suffered badly during lockdown and total lack of a tourism industry! Structurally still of historic interest and very informative. Grounds, plants and animals need a little more care and attention to bring it back to its former glory! Still worth a visit however!

Reviews made us laugh before going, something that divisive has to be worth a visit right?! 2 kids (7&3) really enjoyed it, loads of questions… staff incredibly nice and helpful… nice lunch. If you’re a cyclist its also a great place to stop on the climb.

A little bit overpriced, but we have a nice walk with a nice views, at some objetcts there was no information stend, so when child asked what it is, we say we don't know. In the end we enjoyed tasty coffee for free.

10 euro entrance fee. About 1,5 hrs needed to visit the place and to interpret the 30+ signboards that describe the life of the Old Canarians. If you don't speak Spanish you'll need to read every signboard at least twice, in order to understand the text. When they printed the signboards they obviously used Google Translate (not the sofisticated program version from nowadays, but the one from about 15 years ago!). Everything felt outdated.

A great way to spend a couple of hours. A very comprehensive and fascinating insight into the indigenous people of Gran Canaria Very well presented and in an absolutely stunning location. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant is absolutely stunning. We had a tapas for two and it was delicious and extremely cheap!

Very large site (open-air museum) At least 1 hour walk, at high temperatures is quite heavy .... Friendly staff. Photo at the entrance is a nice surprise at the exit (not free). This is an attraction if you have nothing to do at all.... Beautiful surroundings!

Quite Expensive, it's a little interesting but the park is quite large with some redundant steps. They took some picture of us, but we've never receipt as they promised on whatsapp. A little disappointed, but was a stop to go to Fataga.

This museum is a bit tacky but informative and even evocative at times. It features recreations of Guancho buildings, peopled by slightly scary mannequins. The mix of buildings give a good idea of the neolithic lifestyle of a people whose way of life survived remarkably into the 14th century. The site is spectacularly located with wonderful views and charming birdsong from the trees but you have to endure awful inane music spewing from speakers hidden around the place. Goodness knows whovthought this would add to the appeal of the place - it most definitely does not!

This a great place with wonderful views. It is important to know the history of places we visit and Mundo Aborigene is one of them.

Could be better. Was high level interesting but could be much better managed and the notes at each visiting point had plenty of faults, making it difficult to understand.

Unique experience of the first settlers on an island. Open space- beautiful view, interesting visit. It is a must when you are on Grand Canaria. Recommend!

Really friendly helpful staff. Good sense of humour. Good eats in the vein of burgers, sandwiches, baguettes etc. A well needed rest stop on the way up the mountain.

The café next to the museum is a wonderful place to enjoy a spectacular view. The staff is lovely. They have Spanish snacks and pizza for very fair prices. Highly recommended for a rest in the mountains.
