Great hiking place.. Just remember can be a bit wet some places. You can easily spend lots of hours just walk.. Looking... A lot of people don't even know how beautiful Gran Canaria is

We walked 10 km; along the river and up to the old abandoned hotel. Cool hike! Beautiful place. So green, almost like a rainforrest.

Beautiful hike with amazing views all around the Barranco, east and west side. Can even walk inside the barranco until the sea. Welcome to the jungle.

Beautiful barranco. Steep walk down from Firgas but worth it. Picnic area at the bottom and abandoned spa hotel.

Beautiful hiking trail, that shows very well how the climate and plant life change with height. When you follow the trail far enough you will walk out of the temperate forestland and, as you go higher, into the arid mountain regions. The path can be muddy and slippery and you will have to cross some tree bridges and do some very light climbing in places. Bring appropriate shoes

Beautiful Ravine a good hike either from the top or from the Old Balneario. Be sure to bring water and food as no such are sold in the area. Hiking boots or good sturdy footwear is a must. Enjoy !!

Gorgeous nature, with a rainforest-like climate and uncanny ruins to explore. Cute wild chickens, birds, frogs, and fish to look out for. However, the walking paths are not maintained, and very difficult to cross after rain. You're also not supposed to go in the building ruins, despite the many photos from the inside which are a bit misleading. I would only recommend going if you're sure the paths will be dry the time of year you visit.

Very nice hike and amazing lost place with abandoned hotel. The entrance to the hotel is locked, but there is a small stairs left by the main locked gate. You just need some strength to pull up there. Not sooo interesting inside, but good for a few photos. The hike along the small river is amazing. Not sure how long it is in total, we walked for around 1h and turned back. There is limited parking at the entrance to the street that leads to the hotel. You can park very close to the wall or just a few minutes up the road on the side stripe of the street.

Incredible beautiful valley, great walking route with beautiful views, picnic place and abandoned hotel. Be attentive, building is in very bad condition. Trail is wet in some places, so choose appropriate shoes.

More beautiful than what it looks like and quite an adventure with small cascades and streams.

Great hike it's like small rainforest with beautiful plants, small waterfalls, flowers and birds. A bit slippery now and then and water crossing on trees so bring hiking shoes but absolute worth it.

We knew we didn’t have the right shoes for this barranco walk. It was very wet even though the rest of all the charco’s are dried up (December 2023). So we could only do a small part of the walk. I’ve read some reviews mentioning the road being closed coming from Moya, it is all open now. We couldn’t even get to the picknick area because it was too wet and muddy. We managed to cross the muddy stream to walk a bit up to Firgas, which gives nice views over the abandoned spa. Definitely bring shoes that can get wet, expect to need to cross water/mud at least 5cm deep.

🫤 Located in the most scenic part of Gran Canaria with evergreen forest. Unfortunately, the circular route runs along the road and the last part is closed due to falling rocks - therefore unfortunately unspectacular and not recommended. If you still come, there are a maximum of 10 parking spaces
