We
were
here
yesterday,
thinking
we'd
have
a
good
time
with
healthy,
happy
animals,
supporting
local
business.
Let
me
start
with
the
good
things:
The
food
we
booked
with
the
tour
was
exceptionally
good
and
the
lady
that
prepared
it
was
very
nice
and
caring.
The
driver
that
picked
us
up
was
friendly
and
drove
carefully
up
the
very
steep
and
narrow
streets,
although
he
sped
up
a
lot
on
the
way
back.
The
garden
with
all
the
different
fruits
was
very
interesting
and
the
donkeys
seemed
happy.
All
in
all,
very
pretty
place.
One
star
for
all
of
this.
Now
for
the
bad
part:
I
had
done
some
research
beforehand
and
booked
via
getyourguide,
the
commenters
all
seemed
to
agree
that
the
animals
were
being
treated
well.
When
we
made
it
to
the
camels,
we
noticed
they
seemed
very
unhappy.
Sure,
camels
have
personality,
but
they
were
really
screaming
and
struggling
because
they
did
not
want
people
to
sit
on
top
of
them.
The
guides
then
pulled
on
their
leashes
and
forced
them
to
get
up.
The
animals
were
tied
up
behind
each
other,
so
they
couldn't
see
where
they
were
going.
One
camel
kept
on
stepping
on
the
other
ones
hooves
and
they
started
bleeding.
Another
visitor
told
the
guides
about
that
and
they
just
nodded
and
didn't
do
anything.
All
of
the
camels
had
rusty
muzzles
on,
some
were
so
tight
and
small
that
the
camels
lips
were
poking
through
it
at
all
times.
I
understand
the
need
for
a
muzzle,
but
I
do
not
understand
why
they
need
to
be
too
small
and
tight.
The
camel
ride
itself
was
over
rocky
paths,
sometimes
the
camels
slipped
on
the
rocks.
If
these
animals
walk
the
same
path
multiple
times
a
day,
why
not
make
it
less
dangerous
and
more
comfortable
and
clear
up
the
path
a
little
bit?
The
birds
were
held
in
cages
with
wire
flooring,
so
they
couldn't
walk
comfortably.
The
cages
were
also
stacked
over
another,
so
if
one
bird
defecated
inside
the
cage
it
would
land
on
another
bird.
We
felt
really,
really
terrible
for
the
animals
and
swore
to
never
go
on
such
a
trip
again.
