This is disgrace how poor animals should carry two adult persons 😢 in heat and then kneel down hurting their knees. I have seen donkeys and camels in poor state, locked in small space with bruces on body. This business exists on profit from animal abuse, Consider that when paying for the ride on 🐫. I would prefer to see just a park with animals and fruit 🌳.

Lovely place with helpful staff but located very far in the mountains. You will need a car to get here or come by per booked coach. When we got there there was nobody there as the Camel Safari had already left. The place was well kept & we were offered to roam around the rest of the park but decided not to.

We had lunch there terrible plus was so expensive not worth it. We ordered one meal and was charged for two. Told them the lady said that it is for two people 😂 4 pieces of tiny chicken u had to use a fishing Rod. With 2 drinks total was Euro 27.50. I wish I can upload the photo of the food. Very disappointing.

We were here yesterday, thinking we'd have a good time with healthy, happy animals, supporting local business. Let me start with the good things: The food we booked with the tour was exceptionally good and the lady that prepared it was very nice and caring. The driver that picked us up was friendly and drove carefully up the very steep and narrow streets, although he sped up a lot on the way back. The garden with all the different fruits was very interesting and the donkeys seemed happy. All in all, very pretty place. One star for all of this. Now for the bad part: I had done some research beforehand and booked via getyourguide, the commenters all seemed to agree that the animals were being treated well. When we made it to the camels, we noticed they seemed very unhappy. Sure, camels have personality, but they were really screaming and struggling because they did not want people to sit on top of them. The guides then pulled on their leashes and forced them to get up. The animals were tied up behind each other, so they couldn't see where they were going. One camel kept on stepping on the other ones hooves and they started bleeding. Another visitor told the guides about that and they just nodded and didn't do anything. All of the camels had rusty muzzles on, some were so tight and small that the camels lips were poking through it at all times. I understand the need for a muzzle, but I do not understand why they need to be too small and tight. The camel ride itself was over rocky paths, sometimes the camels slipped on the rocks. If these animals walk the same path multiple times a day, why not make it less dangerous and more comfortable and clear up the path a little bit? The birds were held in cages with wire flooring, so they couldn't walk comfortably. The cages were also stacked over another, so if one bird defecated inside the cage it would land on another bird. We felt really, really terrible for the animals and swore to never go on such a trip again.

The camel safari was good not great! The staff were very friendly. Loved the fresh juice they have. The food was mediocre. The tropical garden was tiny was hoping for more of a bigger tour. The camel I was on was not friendly as he tried many times to bite the man in front of us but luckily he had a mouth shield on. Overall extremely overpriced.

It was quite a journey for us, however the fact that we turned up, saw the animals and got straight onto camels was amazing. No waiting, no queuing, a time slot was booked and everything ran to time The camel walk was the perfect length for three young children and gave them a lovely memory of the island. They even helped book us a taxi home afterwoods. Def recomend as an afternoon out.

A great day out! Picked up from our hotel and taken for a tour of the oasis. Fed the baby camel before embarking on a camel ride and then enjoyed some tapas and home made drinks. We even had time on the way back to take some photos at the top of the mountains. Would definitely recommend.

We had so much fun here! 😅 A hot day and we stopped here obviously a very quiet time, since we were the only customers. It took a while to find someone to let us climb into the "carrier" to camels sides and give us the walk along the desert-style park. The person did not speak any English, but he was were kind to us. Muchas gracias ! 🤗🌴☀️🐪🏜️👌

This is the best place to ride a camel as the views are fantastic and nothing compares to this place. This place is 10 points.

We were happy to arrive at this place still alive after a scary taxi ride with an even scarier, totally crazy taxi driver. Anyway, Riding the camels was fun but i would not recommend if you love animals and i wouldn't do it again too if i knew what i know now. The camels were crying when they needed to get back up on their feet again and 'do the same walk they do multiple times a day' again... The camel that walked in front of us had bleeding feet from walking over the sharp rocks. The owners had bottles of Guarijo (honey rum) for sale. They made it seem as if this was a local specialty that you could only buy with them. Later on we found the exact same bottles way cheaper in our hotel shop😂 I wouldn't recommend going here unless you don't care for animal well being or like to get scammed.

We got the guided tour of the park, camel ride and tapas at the end, plus a ride from and to Arguineguin. It was all superb I think! We got to feed the camels. They were absolute sweethearts as they gently nibbled up the straws, so it seems the camels are being well treated there. The ride itself was very enjoyable, went up through the very deep valley, and it lasted a good while, compared to another time I tried camel riding. The tapas after was very enjoyable, and the ride home was swift. All staff were great!

Nice experience, but only about fifteen minutes, down a hill, a plateau and back. Taking pictures was prohibited but they took a picture of you on the camel and sold it for eight euro. The camels seemed to be cared for however when we got their they were chained and some of them were forced to carry 3 people. We did this as part of a jeep safari tour, and overall a good experience, as we never did it prior, but can imagine a different experience in a desert.

Unnecesairly long trip. After arrival we waited 1,5 hour for the camel ride, very badly organized. Before that we explored a rather poor botanical garden. The garden was so underwhelming we thought it's some random bushes. I've seen better "botanical gardens" on roudabouts in Maspalomas. Camel trip itself was ok, kid is happy. On the plus side: there is a cute black cat that is guarded by a rooster and a talking parrot that can say"meow" - best part of the whole "Camel Safari" experience.

I happened to be the place I liked the most 8 years ago. Now I brought my children to see everything up close and I was disappointed with everything, I won't go there again and I won't recommend it to anyone. It didn't match what was offered at all. For that price, they only sat on for 60 minutes.there was no guide around the garden, I didn't even get to visit it, no local snacks were offered. the price is too high for such quality, very disappointing.

We randomly stopped here to grab a coffee and weren't disappointed. The coffee was wonderful and reasonably priced. We did not go on the camel tour but walking around their garden was so lovely. I would definitely stop here if you want a snack or quick drink.

It was an amazing trip in the mountains with a group of other people. It was surprising that life existed in the mountains. High-quality roads and good communication driving to the other side of the island's mountains, on paved winding roads.

Lovely day out. Picked up outside the hotel, dropped off at the camel park via a scenic ride with commentry. Well informed of what was planned at arrival by very friendly staff, which all went towards a well organised visit. Fed and watered at the BBQ after an hour camel ride, and the food was basic but lovely. Then dropped off at the hotel at the end of the day. Well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure.

Great experience, our family really enjoyed it. Was very hot on our visit with an hour riding the camels, so be prepared if you go on a hot day. The tapas at the end were fantastic, an added bonus! Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bar serving cool drinks when you arrive, we had the fruit juice which hit the spot after a hairy drive over the mountains. Amazing scenery in the valley.

Perfect place for a walk. It's quiet and since you are actually not in Africa why not take a walk with camels, that's what we thought. Amazing nature there in between the mountains. We took a 20 minutes walk for 15 euros per person which I believe is absolutely reasonable. There was a small dog very cute that was leading us from the entrance to the camels and afterwards through the flower garden 🤣
