Windy and rugged, this is a nice spot to stop for a picnic lunch or quick photo - but the waves and rocky nature of the shoreline make it a poor choice for swimming. There are signs posted around the site warning of strong currents and waves - and I would urge anyone planning a visit to take those seriously! There are much better swimming holes around the island if that's your interest. Otherwise, the surrounding area is quite rural, and it looked like there has been some bulldozing done in the surrounding lot. A bit apocalyptic in all honesty - but if you keep your eyes on the sea, a generally pretty view.

A beautiful place to watch the sunset. The waves are enormous though, can be a bit dangerous.

Picture this: parked under the watchful beam of Faro de Punta Sardina, I settled into my RV, ready to embrace a night of celestial tranquility. Little did I know, my dreams of peaceful slumber were about to hit a teenage turbulence. As the night unfolded, a procession of local youths descended upon the scene, not for an appreciation of the cosmic wonders, but for a rendezvous with rebellious banter and herbal remedies. They treated the lighthouse surroundings as the stage for their late-night teenage sitcom, where every plot twist was narrated at a volume that rivaled a rock concert. Oh, the irony! I came seeking the gentle hum of the ocean and the whispers of the night wind through the RV windows. Instead, I got an impromptu concert of youthful exuberance, complete with engine revs, laughter, and the occasional deep discussion on the mysteries of the universe – or perhaps just the best munchies to pair with their nocturnal adventures. In the end, Faro de Punta Sardina turned out to be a stage for the unexpected – a place where the lighthouse wasn't the only thing shining bright in the night. So, if you're up for an RV adventure featuring unexpected serenades and a touch of teenage philosophy, this is the spot for you. Sweet dreams, interrupted by the symphony of adolescence on wheels!

Wonderful hidden gem and very few tourists. Little tricky to reach the place but worth all the effort!

Nice place. Very windy! If you have good luck you'll see Tenerife from here.

Once you have taken a picture of the lighthouse and the views from the viewing platform, it is worth going down and discovering several natural pools

Great but not the best of lighthouses what I've seen. Really strange and rather bad driveway to this place.

😠 "Natural" pool near the sewage treatment plant with the outfall on Bocabarranco beach. On the beach you don't see possible spills because the water is renewed. I wouldn't recommend swimming in the pool, at least at low tide because everything gets stuck. Additionally, dog owners leave their dog's po...
