This is the top site to walk to in GC! The Arco del Coronadero is the biggest natural stone arch in Gran Canaria island. You can observe the impressive Barranco Hondo and the Alto del Coronadero or Salineros. A very spectacular and great nature site that you can just have for yourselves: no tourist buses, crowded viewing points, marked routes, fenced off sites, ... Just Pure Nature!

Well we couldn't reach the Arc, but it was nice place for a walk.Just take in mind that right after the tunnel you must take sharp right turn and NOT follow the path trough river bank. Look around for the sign( small pyramid from rocks)

Overall great hike, did with 11y old kid, walking there over the top side, at the Arco we found out accidentally there is a tricky way down to the canyon and way back was just perfect with much more beautiful nature. No signs.. ;)

Great hike and views, we parked along the coastal main road, hiked by the stone crafter area to the top (where the arch is) and came back through the valley and tunnel.

It is easy reachable from the top. I also got to the bottom of the canyon, but seen only caves. Probably if you head towards the ocean you will see the arch from the bottom, but I was there alone so didn't want to risk. The path leading to the arch is not well signed. Takes c.a. 1.5hrs from the highway to get there. Hot as in hell 😁

We get to the point that was about 5 minute driving from Arco del Coronadero, and we saw a sign: PRIVATE TERRITORY. But the scinery was beautiful.

I mean. The walk there is pretty nice through the canyon but the Arco is nothing wow to be honest. But good walk. 3,5 hours to do the round trip
