Very nice view. Attention: please be careful with a guy selling drinks there. We asked for simple direction we needed so he just needed to say go in one or other direction But he refuses to do so if you don't buy coffee or something. At the end we found our way anyway since we have GPS. In recommend not buying anything from him.

Accessing this balcony was not easy from Gran Canaria Las Palmas. Roads around the mountains were fantastic with lots of awesome views of ocean and mountainviews. In the last bit, just before reaching here you pass through a 3 km long tunnel through a huge mountain - which felt scary with a scooter being the only vehicles riding through. This location is not a restaurant or a tourist attraction with amenities. It is just a balcony attached at a very high altitude. On the horizon, all you see is the endless ocean. Wind can be blowing such strong, so better bring a coat in the afternoons.

Easily accessible by car, so you'll never be alone there. The view is really beautiful, an impressive coastline!

Beautiful place to visit. But be aware of that gentleman standing next to that little trailer selling stuff. I did have an extremely unpleasant encounter with him. I was walking down the stairs to the balcony when he suddenly stopped me and kept asking in an aggressive tone where I am from. First I thought he is someone who you should pay to visit, but I read it is for free. So I asked is it free, and he kept asking what's my name and where I am from, but in an aggressive and loud tone. Meantime he had some chopped fruits offering to try, and in all my confusion I asked what's happening?! And he from nowhere started to cuss at as in Spanish... We walked down and took the photos, still kind of shocked and confused. On the way back he kept talking to us in Spanish and I understand enough to see he was cussing, and kept saying madre, and turistico... When I confronted him and told him he can't just come up to people all yelling and forcing them to buy something he just mumbled in Spanish! Not a nice experience, so learn from my situation and just ignore him in the future, it is for free and worth the view!

Really nice viewpoint! It's worth driving up there. The road there is a bit demanding for Biner, but it wasn't a problem for us.

Nice, but not as much as the books say. Sunset could be hhe best time to visit. Trip to this place requires driving skills and passion. To take the return trip after sunset will be no fun. No entrance or parking fee 👍 Good kiosk in the parking lot.

One of the most beautifull sights i have ever seen. The view up there is amazing, you can see the mountains, you can see the beach, and you can even see the island of tenerife with the highest peak in all spain. The road there is just amazing with a 30 minutes ride through the mountains with an amazing scenary. Definetly a must go if you are visiting gran canaria and you have a car.

This is a very nice place to visit if you have a car. We rented one and visited this panorama on a sunset. It was an amazing view! Also there is a parking right next to this sight so you don't have to worry about that. PS: The road that leads to this place is a beautiful as the panorama. Just go slow and enjoy the view!

Spectacular view of the landscape, where the ocean meets the land. Cities visible far away. A clever build platform makes you feel like flying. A few, but enough parking spaces and a small food and snacks truck for refreshments. Windy, but not too cold.

Some serious serpentine driving to get here. Took us 1hr10min each way going through mountains and villages just for this spectacular view. but you know what it worth it! We worried that we would miss out the sunset as We arrived quite late, I read that in early November the sun set behind the mountains. Luckily we arrived 40mins before the sun set and saw this incredible view with the sun beaming through the mountains!how mesmerising! It was Super cold and windy though.

Don't buy anything from the old man who sells there! 3 coffees (poor quality!) 2 bananas, 22 € !!!! ???? But the view is amazing!

What a view! Breathtaking! A few tourists, but not packed at all. Recommend driving the rode further up if you want to hike a bit or enjoy the view alone, pictures from the road since there are already a lot from the view you get on the sea.

Very nice view over the sea! Depending on the weather conditions you can see Tenerife! The height is definitely impressive! But here again the advice: It's better not to buy anything from the kiosk in the parking lot! The man rolls the prizes!

Fantastic view from a dizzying height of the cliffs in the west of the island. P.S. However, you first have to get past the pushy food truck operator.

Wow! What a beautiful place! We were also lucky that there weren't many people there. What I find very unfortunate is the tone of a visitor towards the owner of the stall, who is really friendly and helpful! A trip is worth it and you can also park right in front of it! Snacks and drinks on site! Great👍

Very nice viewpoint over the sea. When the weather is good you can even see Tenerife. However, you should note that there are only a few parking spaces there. The drive there is winding and well worth seeing!

The viewpoint, located in the northwest of the island, can be reached via the winding GC200. When the weather is good, you can clearly see Tenerife with the Teide. You can buy small refreshments at the kiosk and there are always small samples of some kind of cake on offer. It is always advisable to take a jacket with you as the wind can be brisk.

The view is beautiful. We were there in suboptimal weather conditions. We traveled 1 hour by car from the south of the island. The road there felt like a headache. It's nice but overall I would say it wasn't worth it. I would rather use the car ride to explore the inner mountain landscape of Gram Canaria when the weather is good. That's nicer.

Windy and a slightly longer ride. Best combined with a trip to the west. There is no wind on the glass plate and there is a great view of the sea

Beautiful sights. But the roads up there are also full of spectacular views.

A beautiful viewpoint on the western coast of Gran Canaria. Highly recommended! Very good roads so far, everything asphalted. However, many curve up the mountains. But the journey there is great.

The view is awesome. Not many people around. First time in my life I saw clouds moving over the mountains. If you like serpentines go ahead and visit this place! 😅

Mirador de Balcon is a must-visit spot on the island, thanks to its breathtaking view that sets it apart from other similar locations. What makes it truly exceptional is the presence of a glass platform that provides a unique perspective. The combination of natural beauty and this innovative platform makes it an unforgettable experience. Don't miss this gem if you're exploring the area!

Great view, but wouldn’t go only for this mirador. We came from the south and the drive was beautiful. We also went a little further on the GC-200 to the end, which also had great views.

Good access. An impressive view of nature.

  • 5/5 Séverin A. 4 months ago on Google
View accessible directly in car with a parking on the site. Very beautiful view on the sea and Tenerife. There is a balcon where you walk above the sea and can take great photo. There is also explanation about the night sky view according to the season. Which is a plus if you come at night or in the evening.

Glass platform (floor isn't glass but walls are) with spectacular views. If you have good luck, you'll see Tenerife from here. Man sales coffee, drinki and snack there.

One can definitely never miss this place. Marvellously stunning views. Might get a little crowded as this is one of the major tourist attraction.

Such a great view!!! I would recommend! Just be aware that there isn't a parking and you might have to park your car near the road

One of the best views that u will see on this island. The road towards this location is good from any direction. A toilet could be useful there because of the numbers of people visiting the place.

  • 5/5 Łukasz 2 years ago on Google
Fabulous viewpoint! Even if you aim at sunset time, there are moments that you’re alone on the spot. You’ll find plenty of amazing angles from the balcony but also from the above parking space.

  • 5/5 Jarosław S. 7 months ago on Google
Although the view point is at the end of the road it’s still worth to go. Stunning views of the oldest part of the Gran Canaria. The balcony is a modern structure so looks safe. Be mindful of very strong winds- secure any loose items like glasses or hats. Few people when we visited so it was possible to take as many pictures as we needed. Small parking just right next the the view point.

Once you’re here, the views really are just gorgeous any time of the day. If you’re driving the west coast, it is actually a road just off the highway you take and it goes fast as the views are pretty as well driving up! It was easy to go up and down as long as you drive slow.

(Instructions how to reach this place below) What a unique place, definitely worth a visit! We visited it in December and you cannot see sunset from it. So be ready to arrive a bit earlier than the sunset so you can get some nicely lit shots! We had some troubles with Google Maps navigating there, so just to answer some questions: * Yes, you can reach this place by car. Don’t trust google maps. Navigate to the closest point on GC-2 road and then just follow GC-200 up. * Yes, there’s car parking. It can fit 10 cars easily. * There are no road closures (of GC-200) up to this point. Once you reach it, you can see that you can’t go further (last picture). * Yes, you can drive from here to Agaete. You go through GC-2 until you hit GC-200 road. It tooks us roughly 30-40mins to reach it. * On a lot of websites (even google maps itself) you can find that GC-200 is closed. This is not true as only small part of it is closed. Check Waze to see which section is actually closed. Which doesn’t really impact anything since you can reach both South and North of the island from here. Hope it helps future visitors!

Interesting place to be, but you have to wait as it’s quite crowded as for the small place to stand. And of course everyone tries to take pictures with no people on it. If you are patient and respectful to others, you might get your chance for getting nice view just for yourself :)

  • 4/5 Devangi Y. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful viewpoint with views of the mountains and Atlantic ocean. Can get views of Tenerife too in the distance. There is no parking fees or entrance fees to the viewpoint which is a plus. The drive itself to this viewpoint is beautiful.

It is breathtaking beautiful. Well worth to drive up to this place.

Just must see when you visit this part of island. Take a deep breath and just enjoy the view.

  • 5/5 Viktor . 1 year ago on Google
Well worth a visit! Probably the best viewpoint on Gran Canaria. On a clear day you can see a large portion of the steap west coast of Gran Canaria all the way up to Sardina in the north as well as the island Teneriffa. (The man with the foot truck is a bit grumpy, but don't mind him look at the view!)

Great view, I won't say its a must have to see at gran Canaria but worth to go
