Small but nice cheese museum. There are diagrams about the region's special cheese production and the tools in the cheese factory can also be viewed. Museum is free. If you want, you can try 3 different cheeses for 6 euros for 2 people, with wine or beer if you wish. Cheese and other regional specialties are also sold. Very friendly.

Despite visiting shortly before closing time, we were warmly welcomed, were able to look at the museum area and try the different cheeses and buy all three types of queso de flor tierno, queso media flor semicurado and goat cheese queso de cabra curado, very tasty

Although the lady at the counter didn’t speak any English she went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and made sure that we understand everything she had to say about the cheeses, one way or the other. The cheese were amazingly delicious

Small "museum" with information about the local product. The entrance is free if you want to see the process of making the cheese only. We did taste the cheeses for a small price and it's very good. The information is present scanning QR-codes with really well spoken English and German audio. People are friendly and you can also buy the local product after the visit. Outside there is a viewpoint at about 960m which we didn't visit as it rained. The roads to the casa are interesting and small. Would recommend.

Really great place to get to know and taste the delicious cheeses from the entire region. Very friendly staff and there is also a small “museum” where you can find out more about how the cheese is made. There is a clean toilet and lots of nice seating outside with tables and grills.

Worth seeing and trying. The “Fiesta del Queso” in May is also worth a visit. . The cheese del “flores”. (flowers/blossoms) are available in different degrees of ripeness. It can also be enjoyed with wine. 4-6€ Otherwise there is an entrance fee moderate €1. Opening hours: Tuesday, Wednesday-Thursday-Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Mondays and Fridays there are also festivities such as: the “fiesta del queso” open. Finally, a word about the fantastic view of the Baranco. And the journey is breathtakingly beautiful, including cows and sheep in the pasture.

A great place, little known and frequented, which is strange because you can try local cheeses and wines here, which are delicious, and also learn something about their production. I recommend! Above the dairy there is an observation deck from which you can see Tenerife!

Very tasty cheese to try and buy. The way there is very exciting... The road that leads directly is closed, you have to take a detour.

(Translated by Google) A place to learn and taste typical cheeses from Guía and its surroundings. It is not something spectacular but it has a very pleasant morning. The girl who explained how cheese is made was very attentive. The tasting is very good and according to the price. 3 types of cheeses, bread and wine. To top it off, we go up to a viewpoint that is a 5 'walk away and from where you can see spectacular views.

:) Full disclosure the actual Casa del Queso was closed when we arrived as it's hours of opening are limited. Still gets 5 stars as it is a lovely building and there is a well kept 50 pers max picnic area just beside the Casa. Recommend to park in / around the village of Montana Alta and just walk up to the Casa along the road shoulder (lefthand side and watch / listen for other drivers) as parking is very limited at the Casa itself as the parking lot also serves the short 300m trek to the Montana Alta Peak and Viewpoint as well as the small picnic area. Absolutely worth a visit if your in the area :)

(Translated by Google) A charming place if you are a fan of cheeses. A small museum that explains the work and production of cheese from the cheese factories in the area. With many photos that show people working and where you can see that they like craft work. And of course you have to try the local cheese. There are different cheeses, but we must highlight the authentic Flor de Guia cheese. This cheese is not found anywhere in the south, because it has no chance of reaching the south.....simply because there aren't enough of it. I recommend you to visit it next time when you go north and pass through the high mountain.

Very educative and beautiful tour of the original cheese makers from Canary Island. We received our tour from the very passionate Judith. She was patient and educated and told us about the manufracting differences of the cheese types here on Canary Island. A top for visitors. After the tour go outside the building and walk 300m to the Mirador (Viewpoint). Here you have a fantastic panoramic view of the region and you can see Tenerife and the impressive Mount Teida. Cheers And enjoy

It's a tiny little place up some torturous roads, but very interesting. The day we went she didn't have a lot of her own cheese to sell but seeing how quickly she made the cheese and the ancient equipment they still use for marking it was fascinating. Well worth the trip take time to look around the museum if you can.

Foodie place with small museum to try in-house products: 3 types of cheese & nuts, raisins, figs. More options to buy. Really nice people are working there and most visitor are locals, I guess it explains non expensive policy.

👍 House museum dedicated to the composer, writer and journalist Néstor Álamo. Admission is free and you can see the room where he lived and various objects from the period spread over two floors. The visit is enjoyable and I don't know it takes long to explore the entire area.
