The staff where brilliant very nice and polite , the room was amazing and very comfy probably the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel. Free breakfast was very nice couldn’t complain. Had its problems tho it’s very far away from everything including the town . My girlfriend and I wasn’t a fan of the food in the afternoon so we got a shuttle so we could go to a restaurant at the beach. If you wanted a bed at the top you had to rent them or try find a free one which we found was impossible. Other than that I had a great time and I’d go again if I played golf :)

As a returning solo guest, I found Salobre still has all the style, comfort and good food I experienced the first time. The service from staff is still exceptional and the food is fantastic and great value for money: I dined in the Sens buffet as well as the elegant fusion Sidecar Restaurant (I recommend booking in advance). The rooms are large, comfortable, quiet and very clean -- all the covid measures are in place so that I felt very safe and protected. Every corner of this resort is "instagram worthy", very mid-century, very stylish - even the lobby is scented to make you feel luxurious and special. As a solo traveller or a couple, they have two Adults-only areas: the Sunset pool and lunch area with spectacular views and the Be Aloe Spa area with more amazing views from the infinity pool. This is one of the best resorts I have stayed in, and I will certainly be back.

I stayed at this hotel in 2019, and absolutely loved every moment of it. At first I was surprised to find it was located in the mountains but I found out they have a shuttle to the beach, which is great. The hotel is located on the side of the mountain and it looks out onto the golf resort- this was a beautiful view. At the very top there’s a really nice infinity pool with sunbathing beds that are very nice and comfortable. The food was the best I have ever had to this day. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing. The food is prepared right in front of you and the variety and quality was excellent. The bathrooms are delightful, with a glass wall facing towards the balcony providing breathtaking views while taking a relaxing shower- plenty of space to sit in the shower and lay down as well there is a seating area within. The glass is not fully see through and thus offers coverage. This place did not disappoint- would recommend 10/10. Will be returning. Additionally, the service was very kind and helpful.

3rd time here, mainly for the golf. The food is A1, breakfast and dinner selection is just about the best I've come across. Been lucky and eaten in nice hotels all over the world, for food I rate as in the top 2! Golf course is almost manicured, clean, tidy and greens like a carpet. The rooms (better view on levels 6 and up) are perfect. Walk in showers, safe, fridge, double beds, balconies, good WiFi through most of hotel. Great staff, spacious lounges, bars etc. Has pools on various levels, large one at level 11 with bar and panoramic views. What more can you want. Btw, golfers on the Old Course would be happy at 18 to 25 handicap, on the New Course, soon to be extended back to the original 18holes, it's likely that golfers higher than 15/17 handicap will find it a struggle..... bring plenty of balls. ⛳⛳👍

Dear team from Salobre Golf Resort, thank you for your care so that we could spend a wonderful time in our temporary home with you. Angela Löbhard, the Managerin receptionist, and her team in particular do a warm and competent job, so that our tea times, our Balinese bed and our junior suite were perfectly organized for us. Our junior suite had two bathrooms and a sensational sunrise view over the next city. Freshly grilled fish, steaks and wok dishes fulfilled the culinary wishes. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much P.S.: the golf courses are very nice and affordable

We had an amazing stay at the Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity. We upgraded our room and it was definitely worth it for the additional space and the amazing views from our balcony. The service and food included in our half board package was brilliant and the extra special touch of champagne in our room for my birthday was really thoughtful. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at this amazing resort. We don't normally go on vacation to the same place twice but in the case of Salobre we will probably make an exception for that. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large, good and clean and the pools lovely. Breakfast and dinner were also ample. We did not visit the a la carte restaurants.

I went here for my first solo birthday trip in September. Naturally, I was anxious, with it being my first solo trip (and being a female!) but was left really impressed and shocked at how amazing all the staff were. Treated me like a princess from the moment I arrived! Extremely professional, very kind and always went above and beyond. Food was great. Amazing variety too. My room was beautiful, and had amazing views. Extremely serene, relaxing surroundings everywhere! If you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful, luxury stay, I would highly recommend here! Perfect for couples, solo travellers and small families.

This hotel resort is excellent and is located high in the mountain so you have great views of the lower lands and the golf course. The interior is modern and has tasteful design features. Food is freshly served and a good choice. A very good standard of service and friendly staff. The golf course is stunning and very scenic. I was here with a big group of friends for a week for a golf break. Highly recommended.

This hotel is wonderful. Every detail is perfect, from the pool adults only, to the spa which is so perfect to disconnect. The rooms are excellent. The view is pleasant and relaxing. The food is really good considering it is a buffet. They have a lot of choices and most of the things are very good. The desserts a real treat! This hotel is perfect for couples or for families since they have dedicated spaces. This was my second stay and I am planning to come back next year.

We had the best time at this hotel and will definitely be returning! Every detail is absolutely perfect. The rooms were lovely and clean, stunning views over the golf course and the infinity pool is amazing! All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Came here as a romantic holiday and we both had the most relaxing time. The location is a little out the way but they run a shuttle bus into the local town which is amazing! Also really quiet and has adult only areas which is perfect. Only thing that could be improved is a little shop in the hotel as the closest one is 1.5km away.

Just WOW! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are so warm and accommodating. Sideboard restaurant has absolutely delicious food. I had a 4 day stay and didn’t want to leave the hotel to explore Gran Canaria because the hotel had everything I needed and more. Bottomless bubbly at breakfast is also such a nice touch. Felt very spoilt here and will definitely be back. The hospitality of the staff is 5 star. Rooms could use a bit of modernising but that’s my only bit of feedback.

Fabulous stay. Staff extremely helpful, clean, unfortunately 9 holes of old course shut for maintenance but it means u play 9 of the new and 9 of the old, not busy at this time of year so enjoyed it, there's a bit of building going on but it doesn't disrupt your stay so don't be put off, food is extensive and good, with fish, steak and lots more cooked at the buffet bars to order, very well staffed

Took this place "to reach a state of pure relaxation" (written by hotel). Well, huge construction next to it, >30% children (with respective noise everywhere (!) and unmotivated service at any restaurant / bar. For more than 330€ per night I expect something better. High prices for drinks as well. The style / architecture is stunning but no view from any place in the main restaurant. Good but very intrusive room fragrance in the main buildings.

Feedback :-) This holiday was a planned surprise trip from my other half for my 24th birthday. This was an absolute beautiful place, where the hotel was situated was in an absolute lovely location. We had worries that because we were 10/15 minutes away from the town we would be spending so much on taxis. This was not the case. The hotel provides a coach/bus every hour to travel to the beach front/town. (Free, every hour & also return tickets) The service throughout the hotel was next to none.... Great, friendly staff. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with 2 glasses of champagne! On the last day, our checkout time was at 12pm but we were due to be at the airport for 6/7 to catch our flight for 8/9pm. The reception staff had offered us a "free extended check out time of 2 hours" - this was amazing from them as I am aware they normally charge. Constructive feedback: The buffet was not so great, breakfast was great but I did not really like the different cuisine nights or the food that was offered in the evenings. This would be the only thing that they really need to look at investing into. Also, you will have the odd cockroach here or there come into your room but we figured out that they were coming through the front door and in the evening blocked the door with a towel so they were unable to get in! (TRY IT) Pools everywhere in the hotel, great views and picture perfect. A big thank you to the staff at this resort/hotel, you made my 24th a special one! You will be seeing us again next year!! xxx

We recently stayed twice at this wondeful hotel called Salobre and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor, immaculate facilities, and breathtaking views. Staff particularly are the high-points of Salobre, from Melinda at Reception that is key to our experience to Javier and Marco at the pool and of course Maria from the housekeeping. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I could ask for. I particularly appreciated the balcony, which offered a private and peaceful space to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The hotel's dining options were delicious and high-quality cuisine to choose from. Whether I was indulging in a luxurious breakfast buffet, enjoying a leisurely lunch, or savoring a gourmet dinner at the on-site restaurant. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with our stay at Salobre. The combination of exceptional service, stunning facilities, and beautiful location made for an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

From start to finish this Hotel/Resort was everything it was advertised to be and more. I travelled here solo for 4 days and got the rest I needed in abundance. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly, the breakfast and dinner buffets were well thought out and themed each night, and the bar makes perfect cocktails! The resort felt safe, and all the guests seemed to have the same agenda, rest! It was clean throughout, the rooms were well designed and the architecture is amazing. There is no shortage of places to sit and get a quiet moment to yourself. They also have a bus service which takes you to & from the beach/shopping centre at no extra cost. I will certainly return and have already recommended this hotel to friends and family. Thank you!!

Beautiful hotel in a golf course. The spa was simply the best. Lovely helpful staff in all areas from reception, pool, restaurant and concierge. The only criticism is that there is a glass wall in the bathroom. Everyone in the room can see you bathing or showering. Otherwise one of the best hotels we have stayed in. There is a pool in almost every floor and there were always sunbeds available. We were half board and the food was good especially the fish. Breakfast they served cava and fresh juice. Loved it

Tranquility and luxury, great food, relaxing roof top terrace and pool. 2 golf courses make for fantastic break.

Our overall impression is that it’s not value for money and the charges are excessive. Even down to the water which seems to be at a premium and handed out very sparingly. There’s no extras and using the Spa area will cost you extra too. As a middle-aged couple we were put into room 203, right next door to a visiting football team. The young lads through the wall were very noisy late into each night. We complained on several occasions to reception. Also construction work, heavy machinery, diggers and drillers across the road from our window. Not the best wake-up call each morning! An absence of any supplied toiletries like what we’re used to. We only had one bottle of water supplied each day which had to last for both of us. (We did receive another bottle when requested). TV channels- Plenty of German, Spanish and French TV channels working perfectly. Less than a handful of UK Channels and all have very poor satellite signal meaning constant jumping interruptions. Restaurant; Before booking our holiday we did read the mixed reviews about the food being cold but we did expect this to be attended to before we arrived. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Every day the food lying out at the buffet was cold. The first rule of a buffet is to make sure the food is hot and fresh and replenished regularly. Too often the food was lukewarm having been lying out far too long. Unless you are prepared to wait on the freshly cooked sections and have a chef make you something from scratch. It was frustrating as the general standard of the food is very good. But the best chefs in the world can’t do anything if their food is left to get cold on a counter. For goodness sake, this is just basic and an unnecessary frustration for guests who expect more for their money. If you were prepared to wait on a freshly cooked fish or meat dish at the griddle, freshly prepared for you, then this was very good. Fresh and hot. Drinks were expensive with a glass of house red wine setting you back 11 euros for literally a small half glass. The dinner can get very busy at times. Golf; The course is very hilly and is not one that lends itself to walking, which is what we always preferred. Buggies cost 40 euros which seemed a bit expensive given the need to use them. Pull trolleys were also available but it is about a 500 yard steep uphill walk from the Hotel/Pro Shop to the first tee before you even start your round. Distances from greens to tees and the inclines make walking this course a challenge to say the least.1 small bottle of water per person was provided in the buggy. When asked for another bottle each we were told `no’ and that a refreshment buggy was out on the course where you could buy more water. Not really the response we were looking for when out on a 5 hour round! The New Course is only 9 holes at the moment and still very immature. We had communication with the Customer Services Director who was able to see this draft review before we left. Bizarrely there appears to be a view that the hot plates and counters holding the food are adequate. Believe me they are not and the food is cold if left out for any length of time. Not helped either when the roof is pulled back from the restaurant and the night air cools things down even more. He also mentioned that the construction workers don’t start until 9am as a strict instruction. Again. Not the case and I have video of vehicles moving down into position at 7.20am. The response from the hotel was pretty defensive in the main though we were provided with a free buggy as a gesture one day. To summarise, the Salobre Hotel has the potential to be a very good hotel and the facilities are excellent. It’s the small things that make a difference and this is where this hotel falls well short of the standards of other similar hotels. What should have been a relaxing, enjoyable two weeks holiday here has left us somewhat short changed and deflated. Not one for us to rush back to and it reaffirms to us just how good the Turkey Hotels are as a comparison. Rating 2 out of 5.

Lovely hotel with a great view, friendly and helpful staff and really nice and clean rooms. One star off for the dinner buffé being too bland. No spices to bee seen. Anywhere. Breakfast was ok! The rooftop pool (that's child free:) was the best thing. I don't golf, so I spent most of my days there. The complimentary welcome wine was a nice surprise!

Stayed here for our anniversary and it was a great choice . Pros: -The rooms are big , clean and well looked after. -Plenty of options for food , there’s about 4 restaurants on site, all different styles . We loved breakfast and seafood day in the main buffet restaurant . -The hotel has amazing views all round, wether you like walking , golfing or just seeing different views from different floors . -The pools were amazing, especially the spa pool and the rooftop. Spent our pool days there. The spa was amazing they offer amazing spa packages . -The staff were amazing and helping. They were so accommodating. The welcome fruit and wine was a nice surprise too. -it’s not too far from the main town and beach so you get a bit of both worlds . They also have a shuttle to town and Back which we found helpful. Cons: just a minor con there is some construction going on, but to be honest it’s not really close to the hotel and happens late morning. They also finish early so it doesn’t really affect the ambiance and it’s not too noisy . Would definitely recommend.

A delightful stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, spacious, and relaxing. + Great facilities, rooms, restaurants, - Shower temperature was not always consistent. 5/5 in terms of overall satisfaction.

A beautiful resort with lots to offer. We ran, hiked, went to yoga, swam and had a spa day. I was treated so wonderfully for my birthday, with cava and a cake! The restaurants and bars on site are great and there are so many spaces to chill. The food options at the buffet were extensive, best I've seen. The staff were wonderful. Cannot wait to come here again!

Congratulations to the management and the entire team. I am travelling a lot and long time i’ve not enjoyed so much to stay in a hotel. I highly recommend. I wanted something way different from mainstream resort, even 5 stars. I found it. The hotel is an escape from Canary island turism. Don’t hesitate, u will not be disappointed.

Excellent facilities, fantastic food and the best staff. I have been here for 10 days so far and every member of staff has been friendly and helpful, they are all great, I've yet to meet someone that is not. The only downside it's a little out of the way but a short taxi ride takes you to Maspalomas.

Lovely hotel. A nice welcome on arrive good facilities . Nice restaurant and bar. Pools were lovely. Staff friendly apart from a rude guy while we were taking pictures of the lovely hotel. We were told not too cause they were filming. It's a hotel guests should be allowed to photo their hotel. But overall a lovely 5 ☆ hotel.

Stayed here for the weekend. The views around the resort are beautiful especially from the 11th floor. Food was very nice including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner is themed every night. Staff were polite and very helpful. We had a Junior Suite and Deluxe Suite both were very spacious and comfortable and the mountain view are beautiful from the Deluxe Suite. Highly Recommend for a relaxing break.

We were here for 3 nights and had a really great experience. The hotel is beautiful, facilitates are superb and the staff is very attentive and nice. We had breakfast and dinner included and the food was absolutely amazing. The best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had and the dinner was also delicious with a huge selection. We’ve tried the SPA and it was nice, however, I don’t recommend unless one wants to use the sauna and the steam cabins as there are other pools that can be enjoyed without the extra charge and are just as good. I’ve attended the yoga classes in the morning and they were a great way to start the day. The instructor, Veronica is very fun and took good care of us. Also, shoutout to Arturo for always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall was an amazing experience and would come back again.
