We found this holiday to be very nice, the rooms felt a little dated but the rest of the hotel was very nice and bright. The hotel was very clean and generally well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in all of the restaurants were very nice, we ate in the a la cart restaurants most days. I would recommend you upgrade to privilege if you can, you seem to get better positioned rooms, access to all of the restaurants and the lounge. I heard some people complaining about the loud noise from nearby restaurants/clubs, but we never heard this noise at night - maybe we slept with doors closed with the AC on.

So my stay didn't start well, one wing of the hotel is opposite a noisy night club and the sound insulation in the room wasn't great, I was kept awake by the music until 2am. After complaining, I was moved the next day, however it turns out all the staff (so I assume the booking agent knows as well) know about the noise and the hotel is taking some form of action to get the music turned down. However until that is done those rooms shouldn't be let. I did feel like I'd been taken as a bit of a fool. I did ask to see the manager but he was too busy, so I spoke to the customer services, which was a bit like banging my head off a wall, they just weren't interested. I invited them to make some sort of amends for what they had put me through, but they were just not interested. So to be balanced the outside spaces, pools and the gym are very good, the pool and room staff were great, however some of the dinning room staff treat you like an inconvenience. On the whole, my week was spoilt by some of the staff and the noise issue on the 1st night, so I wouldn't stay here again. There are plenty of better places to stay. I think it's a bit dishonest to know their is an issue at the hotel and not tell people before they book. With regard to your reply below, I don't accept your apology as it is meaningless and hollow.

It's not a 5-star experience, but that's some what expected given the price you pay. I'm not sure what criteria must be met in Spain for a hotel to gain 5 stars, though their standards would fall short of many other European countries. They force men to wear trousers at dinner jn the hotem which really is a little much in 30 degrees of heat. Also, why force men to wear trousers when there are no restrictions for the ladies. With all that said, we enjoyed our stay here. The food was quite good in the self-service restaurant, and standards were high in the fee paying restaurants. The pool areas and the hotel in general is very nice, the building exterior is very striking and uniquely styled. It's located in a quiet area beside a shopping centre in which half the area is closed but there are some great restaurants and bars within if you can get over the eerie emptiness. Staff in the hotel are mostly very nice and quite helpful if you have any issues.

Large hotel with clean rooms, good bathroom, good beds. Many swimmingpools, nice view at the sea. Good restaurants to choose from. And they get an extra * for the feeding places and beds for stray cats! ❤️ First time I saw a hotel do that. Applause!

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities. Although the beginning and ending of our holiday was a real disappointment. We arrived late Saturday evening and were told there would be a cold buffet waiting for us… our party of 7 arrived at the dining room to what can only described as a work house supper. Two tiny bread rolls, dried up ends of meat and an indescribable small dish of salad bits between 7 of us. We asked the waiter who said there was nothing else, therefore we left hungry and in disgust. We have to say, after that our experience in the restaurant was most enjoyable and we thoroughly enjoyed most aspects of our holiday. Fast forwarding to the last day, we were not scheduled to be collected till 8pm, we requested to keep one of our 4 rooms but we’re told this was not possible. We had presumed our evening meal was included but was told this was not the case even though we were guests at the hotel till 8pm. Although we had complained about our cold buffet on the first evening, the reception staff were disinterested and adamant that our evening meal was not included. You expect a higher standard of hospitality at a 5 star hotel! All in all, we enjoyed our holiday and would return. Although one final gripe, why remove towels and personal possessions from sun beds that were left for half an hour when at breakfast when the pool area was extremely quiet and there were plenty of free sun beds?! It was laughable to watch the management patrolling the pool area and it caused a lot of upset for people returning to find possessions removed and sometimes other guests on those beds. Come on H10 management, you can do better!

Very large labyrinthine hotel with two big pools and various restaurants. Nicely situated facing the sea and Meloneras golf. The rooms are spacious and many but the hotel is very quiet at night thanks to its size. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food offer OK and you can eat outside. Breakfast offer is lavish too. When drunk, beware of the spiky cactus plants who lurk everywhere :o)

Exceptional hotel in terms of location by the sea and the gardens. The cleanliness of everywhere , quality of the service and great food. The friendliness of staff including Gerardo and the reception team. The Blue team combine fun and activities through the day. The yoga and Aqua gym was most enjoyable and a good work out. Thank you Zed and Janice for the friendship during our stay. We loved our spa day too and treatments. This is our second visit and my wife and daughter will return here again in June.

This is the best hotel we have visited anywhere in the world. If you choose All Inclusive it really means it. The food quality and choices are far superior to any cruise ship and the staff cannot be faulted. The location is quiet but a short walk along an esplanade takes you to Maspalomas where there is plenty of activity. Every evening there is a show and there is something for everyone at some time during your stay.

Stayed here for a week from start to finish it was fantastic. we arrived late and reception was great they opened the buffet at 11-12 for late arrivals and the rest of our holiday was absolutely superb. This Hotel is immaculately clean no bugs or cockroaches anywhere. The staff were outstanding and great service all the time. Definitely go privilege it is 100% worth it. The food in the la brassie is spectacular for lunch and dinner. I will have no hesitation coming back. Thank you for a great holiday!

A brilliant holiday here as always. Perfect setting for an excellent time away, plenty of sun, relaxing, swimming and entertainment. The rooms are clean, spacious and with lovely views. All of the staff at the hotel are attentive, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The food is excellent and always varied, catering for all tastes. The activities are run by a fabulous team, heading up the team is Zed. So there is always something to keep you busy if you want!

A lovely hotel, excellent service and staff. A good range of daytime activities and a good mix if event entertainment. Very clean resort, lively variety of food in the main restaurant. The rooms may be slightly dated but still of good quality. Location is perfect for walks and golf. A superb holiday. Thank you.

We had a fantastic holiday at the resort. The food was amazing, staff were super and we loved Zed and his classes! He was so welcoming and friendly. Everything else was superb- the rooms were a bit dated (not 5 star quality) but everything else was top notch!

This was my first trip to this hotel, a 10 day winter holiday with my daughter and we couldn’t ask for anything better. The room was very comfortable , with a terrace outside, and spotlessly clean . The only issue was some loud music from the local beach bars which went on until very late at night at the weekend. Everyone was very friendly from the cleaners , restaurant staff and especially the fitness class instructors Eva , Maria and Zed, I loved the variety of classes . The various pool areas were very peaceful , and never appeared crowded despite the hotel being fully occupied . Overall an excellent holiday .

We had an amazing week at this hotel! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Although we stayed in an old room, we were informed that the hotel is renovating and new rooms will be available soon. The pool areas were big and beautiful with a stunning view of the garden and the ocean. The hotel is located in a great area with clubs just at the doorstep. We would like to give a special shout-out to Zvonimir the entertainer who made our stay so memorable. He was so caring and professional with people he was born to dealing with guests. We wish him all the best in his future career at the reception desk. Karima the bartender was also lovely and made our stay so pleasant. She is a great asset to the hotel. The night shows were below our expectations, but we suggest that they should improve by having better singers and singing popular songs. This way, people can enjoy and sing along. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Our suite is really dark. No lights on the ceiling, and this dark is very frustrating. The food is second class, very far from high quality. Kids are absolutely not welcomed. The child pool is very cold, to the spa is not possible to go with a child under 16, and the kids club is always closed. With a child better to choose an other hotel. Most of the staff is very kind and helpful, especially Fernando in the bar, Zed the Croatian (animator?). Minibars are not refilled everyday, so we had to buy water in the shop. (We are in all inclusive) The photography is extremely expensive. They ask 310 euro for 60 pictures in digital format Sometimes we have bad canal smell in the bathroom.

LISTEN! This hotel is fantastic. We love it here. It is so relaxing and spacious. You never feel overcrowded. The hotel layout is beautiful. All the staff are super friendly, attentive and courteous Most of all…. Staff member ZED is amazing!! He is so approachable, knowledgeable and kind. A very special presence at H10 in Gran Canaria. Cannot wait to come back!!

I took some places in aqua aerobics with Karolina. I found the classes amazing. Karolina was full of enthousiasm, her instructions were very clear and she coped really well with the different nationalities. I do aqua in Ireland and I was thrilled to find it here with such a competent young woman.. It was fun, energetic and a great experience. We'll be back.

Just arrived home from a fab holiday at the H10. From start to finish the staff, hotel and facilities were 5 star. The pools are superb and quiet. Always being kept clean. Food in the spacious dining area was first class. Will definitely return.

Our stay was lovely. The children’s club reps and entertainment were fabulous and our kids were huge fans of all things Daisy club! The food was lovely, and the service in the restaurants was equally good. We rarely left the hotel as the facilities were great. The shopping centre nearby is a little rundown but everything you need is on site - the spa was also fab. We had some issues regarding baby changing - the baby changing facilities are only available in the female toilets meaning my husband had some difficult conversations with the staff when our son needed to be changed, including a waitress who asserted that “the mother should be changing the baby”. But that didn’t detract from an otherwise wonderful holiday.

Its our second time here and we stayed 7 nights. It was another fantastic spring break for us. Our daughter loved the Daisy Club and we had our much needed rest as parents. We highly commend Enrique of Tablada Restaurant who made sure our table is prepared in the morning and dinners. We absolutely love Janice, Elizabeth and Naomi who patiently entertained our daughter morning and afternoons at the Daisy Club. We missed Zed! And Brahm who served us the best Almonds for cocktails, thank you! Husband and I gained 5 pounds each because of the delicious dinner we had every NIGHT. Did I mention that they serve Champagne in the breakfast buffet? The rooms are great! Comfy beds and very clean. We can't wait to try the new rooms next year. We are counting the days till our next trip to Gran Canaria and H10 Hotel. Thank you for another unforgettable vacation.

Had a great week here, the food, the staff, the service and the location were fantastic. The rooms extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. While we did not visit any of the a la carte restaurant, the quality, the range and diversity of food in the main restaurant were very good and certainly as expected of 5* hotel. Many pools to choose from and nightly entertainment pretty good. Highly recommended and a big thanks to all in the hotel and we make sure we will be back.

Update: Fantastic response from the hotel to my review. I feel valued and my feedback heard. Great to hear they do accommodate vegetarian and vegan guests with special plates. Firstly: the negative reviews referencing the noise from the nearby club can now be ignored as the hotel have won legal action case against the club! This hotel is now a peaceful quiet retreat. Full review: An interesting hotel with multi-level layout. Nice sized rooms. Good pool options including an infinity pool. A decent spa with professional massages available. Very friendly staff. An ok activity schedule. An evening entertainment every night of varying quality (all external act bookings). Pretty much everything was great. The beach is a very short walk down some steps. The nearby town is a pleasant 20min walk along the coast. The only negative for me would be some of the food in the evenings was not great, in that it was clearly rehashed food from previous meals. Sometimes it was overcooked, or it just wasn't very nice. Don't get me wrong, most of the food most of the nights was good - especially the freshly cooked griddled food, or specialist meal of the evening; for us this was (changed each day): roast pork, roast turkey, build your own fajitas, build your own kebabs, and a whole salmon. If you're a omnivore you'll be fine but you won't enjoy the veg most nights. If you're a vegetarian you'll struggle, if you're a vegan I genuinely don't know what you'd do >> Update: The hotel's reply confirms you can ask for special plates. Be sure to do this ahead of your stay or on arrival.

Unforgettable family stay at this amazing resort. We grandparents, our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren aged 6 and 2 thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably the best resort we have stayed at. Rooms, surroundings, restaurants, the beautiful pools, yes everything was spotlessly clean. All the staff were from start to finish friendly, welcoming and very service minded. None of us wanted to leave. I can only give this resort the best recommendations.

Six of us stayed all inclusive for 7 nights in this wonderful hotel. The food is very good, the service equally excellent and the amenities are top notch. The whole place is very clean and cleaned regularly. We got one free meal at the a la carte restaurant which was refreshingly different to the usual, and again service was impeccable. If I had one complaint it’s that the gym is not air conditioned, that makes workouts very hot! Otherwise we would absolutely return in the future. Not too far from Meloneras town centre with a beach and shops. 5 star hotel deserves a 5 star review!

Only criticism I would make is that in the restaurant it would be nice to know what is in each dish. People have allergies such as gluten or lactose. The Chef had to explain what was ok.

You won't find a better hotel. Location, service, food, rooms all first class. It takes a day or two to get your bearings but it's such a wonderful place that it makes it all the more engaging. Can't fault it. Definitely a hotel we will visit.

We had the most amazing trip with our child. My husband and I were able to relax while our child is having a great time at the Daisy Club. Zed, Janice, Victor and Noemi where all fantastic child minders and group leaders. Everyday, they had different activities ranging from crafts, sports and culminating with the kids disco with Daisy. They kept all activities fun and engaging for the children and even for us parents. You can really sense that they are well trained in handling groups of small children. The Hotel itself is amazing. We were treated with great food everyday and the staff are all hospitable. Rooms are likewise great. We loved the pillows and we slept soundly at night after a relaxing day by the pool. We would highly recommend H10. If you have kids and longing to have that me-time with your partner or spouse, this hotel is the best place to go to. You can relax and have the peace of mind that your child is enjoying the vacation as well.

I honestly can't remember the last time that I was so relaxed. We stayed for 7 nights with the Privilege upgrade... It was expensive but worth every penny. We can't say enough nice things about the service, particularly at the restaurants included in our Privilege package. Special thanks to Vicente and his team (Carolina, Lourdes y Sergio) from the Naturalia restaurant who made us truly feel at home with their extremely down-to-earth yet professional service. Gracias Vicente por aguantar mi morro fino para encontrarnos un buen vino. Also to Nicoleta, Africa and Roberto for the incredible experience in the Gaudí Restaurant. Amazing food, even better service. Truly a 5 star experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back!!!!

The hotel is extremely beautiful! The pools are large, the rooms spacious and the common areas well decorated and clean, I had a great time there. What is lacking is the service, especially from the bar! We chose an all inclusive package, and each time we went to get a drink it seemed like they didn't want to serve us. Bar staff were in a bad mood almost 100% of the time, which gave me the perception of not being welcome there. The bar service definitely need to improve so that the experience could be a 5 starts one!

This hotel is fantastic! There is nothing but good things to say...the location, the rooms, the pools and sun loungers, the food, the staff are all excellent! We had a fabulous week and cannot wait to book for next year...thank you H10 Meloneras for making our first holiday since covid the best possible!

Nice hotel, although a little bit old. Overall very good service, and food was also quite decent for a buffet style serving with decent variety. Staying and the ground floor (rooms 1xx) is not recommended if you are sensitive to noise as there is a night club opposite of the road.

We had decided - after lockdown - to go for this hotel having previously had a wonderful experience at their H10 hotel in Lanzarote, however, …..never again, not a patch!! Having taken the confidence to try our usual Christmas getaway, and after everything considered with the pandemic, we were wishing we hadn’t even bothered. An extremely disappointing experience with a very tired hotel room, some extremely rude staff, dinner finishing early on more than one occasion, resulting one night where the grill actually closed at 8.20pm (but dinner is served until 9??). Tv remote did not work (5 star? Yet this clearly wasn’t checked prior to guests arriving). Asked for an iron, which came (with no ironing board) and it leaked which we deemed dangerous and so emptied the water in order to use. No tea/coffee in rooms and when mentioned, I was informed ‘this will cost……per day’, and ‘this is expensive’ reception said……erm what!?? - I thought, you don’t think your five star guests are worth it? Anyway, the straw that broke the camels back……I arrived for breakfast and had been asked by a very ‘jumped up little waiter’ on my very first day that I must wait to be invited into the outside dining area ……I apologised profusely and as a consequence I ensured that I waited until signalled every single morning thereafter ……until……..on one of my last days, I waited and I waited - and waited. Only to discover other people just walking in, waiter oblivious (until I went in). Then I was told off (yet again), I explained ‘I did wait, nobody came, others entered and so did I’ - a couple even entered blatantly after I had done and he never uttered a word to them. Rude little man. He took umbrage and ignored coffee refill requests and then when my daughter came to join me and went to sit down, there was a stained puddle on the chair. I mentioned to ‘said’ rude little waiter, and he did no more then drag it a little towards himself and instructed my daughter ‘you sit there’!’ pointing to a chair next to it. And that is where the stained chair stayed for as long as we stayed and beyond - over one whole hour! I complained to staff on our final day when we checked out, re all of the issues we had had for the duration of our stay, only for the female receptionist to scribble notes on a scrap piece of paper! She apologised on behalf of this staff member who of course is making just a wonderful representation of the hotel. Absolutely shocking, not 5 star, nowhere near and we have since vowed, never to use this chain again. Shame really as our experience in Lanzarote was a complete contrast. Poor, very poor. Have read other poor reviews since returning and I look forward to the same old response form management to suggest ‘taken on board, sorry you weren’t happy…….’ Begs the question ‘will you ever listen and improve?’ Considering the similar complaints and over some years, I think not!

5 star hotel with 3 star service. Our room did not get cleaned until we complained about it. Outdated rooms. Slow Wi-Fi. Cold and old food at breakfast. Used an excuse to not wash our clothes. Nice view. Friendly staff. Not worth five stars

Nice hotel, a bit old but good. It really depends on where you get the room. We've booked a suite, and it was very dark. All suites are located in the corner of the building, the terrace is big but enclosed and has almost no light. Because it was a long stay, (14 days), they were very kind to relocate us to the top floor after 4 days as soon as it was available. If you don't have a roof above the terrace, it changes everything. So I'd definitely recommend the top floor. We had breakfast and dinner included. The food is reasonably good and the level of service is great. I usually choose H10 hotels when possible because they have excellent price/value ratio.

We stayed here for 3 night with all inclusive in a suite. I already live in Gran Canaria so it was a last minute break for us. We really enjoyed it here, the pools are very nice and it always feel quiet enough to relax. The meals at the buffet restaurant were good, but I think they drastically decrease the quality of foods used for breakfast compared to lunch and dinner. The staff are all very nice, the only issue with them was that they almost always gave us an alcoholic drink when we asked for non alcohol, but it wasn’t a problem as they would replace them when told them. The location of the hotel is nice and quiet on the quieter side of Maspalomas. It’s perfect for me because I hate crowds and night life but for others this may be disadvantage. the beach just below the hotel is very nice too.

We have just completed a week’s holiday at the hotel. The only word that sums it up is Fabulous. I can honestly say that every aspect of the hotel from start to finish is flawless. The restaurants are absolutely first class, in fact the issue is, anywhere else you go wouldn’t be better. The Gaudi is Michelin star quality. Superb. The waiting staff lead by inspirational leaders like Marta and Angela don’t miss a beat. Nothing is too much trouble, service is on point and as I said below, you won’t want to go outside the hotel as it’s the best around! The pools, the sundeck, all of it. World leading. Note, we did upgrade to privilege, so we did have some enhanced aspects, but at all levels this hotel, it’s team members, facilities, location and overall experience are without exception fantastic. A majority of people we met were returning guests and I can see why. This is one for the calendar, every year I hope. I could go on and on, but you’ll have to go to experience it for yourself. Thank you to all the team at the hotel, you made our holiday and our memories.

The hotel was great, my only concern was the food did not meet my expectations. We had the all inclusive package and the food provided was just a bit dull for me. We often had to dine out, which is ok but I would prefer that to be a choice rather than being forced to eat elsewhere. I expect due to the size of the complex, this means the hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the lighthouse. Where most of the action takes place. Again not a huge issue but also not easily accessible if you wish for something quick etc.

Very nice 5-star hotel. The location is quite remote, but there is a nice (stoney) beach in front of the hotel. Pools are very big bug could be warmer. Rooms are nice but look a bit dated. The food is 10/10, no complaints.

Unique hotel by the beach, felt like we were in the flintstones in a good way, food was good for a buffet, something for everyone. Room was a good size but needs modernising a bit, a plus is no one overlooks anyone. Staff were great and friendly, they kept the place clean, both pools were of a good size and had a great setting. Would go back again.

The main restaurant, bar and entertainment staff are great and really made our trip enjoyable. The hotel facilities sadly not as high… I would say this hotel is great for children over 6, we have a 1 year old and not having a restaurant accessible 24/7 didn’t work for us. Ended up feeding her, porridge and beans for most of the trip. As the restaurant’s timings didn’t work as quite late, they did try and provide veg/purées for certain times but got lost in communication and when finally received more like soup. The cleanliness of the rooms isn’t great, always finding dust and hair, with a crawling/walking baby not what you need. Often the balcony wasn’t cleaned and I don’t think the room was ever mopped. Cups and glasses were never replenished. The shower went from cold to scolding and the bedding was tatty. As for the Privilege extras, it wasn’t worth it. The robe had holes in and the slippers were cheap. The brasserie is lovely but the staff not so, especially with a young child. The Gaudi restaurant; we didn’t even get past the host as they were rude, the menu was limited and there was no ambience. The location is good until nighttime especially at the weekend, as the local bar/club played music until 2/4am and local residents on the other-side also had a party in the street. The pools are lovely but not great for children as all 1.45m deep. As I say, most of the staff are lovely and the food is tasty but needs to be a bit more accessible for a toddler. It has the potential to be excellent but could do with some work from the top.

What is there not to like about this hotel great location very relaxing environment night entertainment was great. Not one day or night in the restaurant was lacking in choice freshly cooked or on plates or the traditional buffet style. All drinks branded staff members go above and beyond to keep the relaxed atmosphere throughout the stay . DJ on the infinity pool side in the evening was just chilled out and everything brought to your table saxophone player was great doing a variety of mix new and old music very chilled out great guy. The night entertainment was great top level. The cleaning of the hotel staff the unsung people who keep everything in your room spotless would say morning and always friendly and helpful and if you have the sleep card in the door they would leave a leaflet saying that call the reception and they would clean it to suit your needs. In all the best hotel that myself and family have stayed in anywhere can't fault the service or place.

Have been to this hotel a number of times when the kids were 9 months to now when they are 9 years. Each time the staff have been amazing. Zed and Janice in the kids entertainment team are phenomenal and remember all our names each year. Marta and her restaurant and bar team are brilliant and so accommodating (we had a party of 14 all eating together this year). The rooms are perfect and cleaned to a high standard. Would certainly recommend this hotel to families of all ages.

Great service, pools and lounging areas, pretty good food. The rooms are kind of basic though and could use some improvements (updated furniture and coffee makers/water kettles in the room).

Recently returned from 2 weeks here following a fantastic holiday. The hotel staff are second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. Very friendly and efficient. The food was variable with plenty of choices. Rooms are spacious and clean with a lovely outside terrace. Great location near the beach. Can't wait to return
