The place is clean and well maintained. I had a private room which very spacious. It was facing the street but it is relatively calm for what you can get in Las Palmas, and completely silent at night. The shared areas are well designed and decorates, amazing rooftop, nice indoor garden that feels like an oasis. It is not located directly in the city center of Las Canteras but only a 5min walk. That's actually enjoyable as it is more peaceful and cleaner than staying in Las Canteras. The staff is quite helpful and polite, and you can easily meet with other people in common areas. Staff ensures the common areas are quiet after 23.00 so it is peaceful at night. There are 3 bathrooms which are completely private. And the beach is 3min by foot. Overall quite happy with my stay in this hostel!

I stayed here 2 weeks and I loved it !!This is such a nice place with unreal atmosphere! All staff are super friendly and are so easy going. There is a garden upstairs which is super relaxing and lovely looking. The location also is nice as it’s only 5-10 mins down the road from the beach and supermarket! Everything is clean, bed sheets, kitchen, bathrooms so can’t complain. The only thing the owner of this hostel should do is maybe organise some activities within the hostel, such as bbq nights, karaoke nights, movie nights etc.. would defo recommend this place for anyone super cheap and very good location.

The rooms have a window but it is always on the interior corridor. So basically there is a very limited ventilation. No activities, so basically just like an hotel. The people working there are nice but the place is not well maintained by the owners. The doors for example are noisy and old so during the night you will keep hearing noises, even the bathrooms don't have windows. Just go somewhere else.

There were some other good things too. - Got a new room when I asked for one, the first matras was really uncomfortable. - Got too hot at night sometimes, so we received a fan. - The internet is very fast, up to 350MB/s sometimes, which was great to work with. - The Garden room looks amazing, loved working from here. - It ECHOES, I had the worst sleep in a very long time here. Pro tip: Get private room 1 it's the only room with no window to the loud main hall. - Classic “Rule for thee not for me” when it comes to the closing time in the kitchen. Had to go out of bed multiple times to ask the volunteers to be quiet. On time, it was at 3am when a whole group was making midnight snacks and talking in the kitchen. It's an open kitchen off course, so the sound can echo nicely to the guest rooms. - Some volunteers are great, but there were quite some examples that would even say hallo or even look you in the eyes and prefer hanging out with their tablets and headphones.
