We stayed there for one night and payed in advance for our stay. As we arrived, the owner asked for our credit card for a security deposit. Only back home we realized he charged us again for the same night. A mistake that can happen to everyone. However, it is unacceptable he never replied to our mails making him aware of his mistake...if it really was a mistake and not on purpose! We never got the money back. I recommend to avoid this hotel at all cost.

A guesthouse opposite the Parador on the Cruz de Tejeda. A beautiful setting. Ideally situated for access to walking trails with stunning mountain views. The gardens looked a bit tired but the bedrooms were fine and of high standard of cleanliness. A reading room provided tea and coffee making facilities during the day, with a fridge for storing any food purchases. Breakfast was disappointing, and the quality of breakfast items could be improved, along with upgrading the means of providing a good quality hot coffee; these would be welcome additions to what is otherwise, a nice accommodation. No other meals were available and we made use of the Parador accross the road for their excellent cafeteria and dining service.

Family run place with friendly helpful receptionist. Free fresh coffee in lounge area. 2 stars deducted for old soft beds and no hot water when I showered at 8pm after a hard days walk on local trails.

Nice hotel in a hiking area. Only 2 hotels on a crossroad, it is not a village. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good. Enough parking space. There are rooms under the roof which are small, not like the pictures on the internet. There is an area with couches and sofas where you can relax, read a book, play a game and make some (free) tea. The pool is way smaller than it seems like on the pictures. Overall good experience mainly because of the friendly staff.

Hosts are incredibly welcoming. Amazing breakfast. I returned three times during my stay in Gran Canaria because I was so pleased with everything and I wish I could have stayed longer.

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The couple who owns the place is absolutely lovely (as are most locals in Tejeda). We spent a lot of time chatting with them. The location is the best. Just 5 min walk uphill for a view of the sun setting behind Tenerife. Unforgettable. If you're looking for 5 star accommodations this is not your hotel. The rooms are adapted in a big house. Showering was not so comfortable. But we still felt at home. Everything was clean and well organized. We are coming back more times for sure.

Great location and good value for money if you don't want luxury accommodation (if you do, try the Parador over the road). Nice hiking options nearby. Not many restaurant options though.

The hotel is ok and clean, the decoration is outdated. A bit cold at night in thé rooms.

I had an ok experience but could have been better. The premises are old and not very well taken care of. I paid over 120 Eur for a room for 4 in the hikers section. I had no access to the regular hotel common areas despite paying full price. The rooms are old and cleanliness can be improved. Not all rooms had heating. Ours didn't and someone left the building door opened all night. It was really cold (5 C° overnight). We were doing the hike Camino de Santiago and check in is at 2pm. We arrive 20 min early and the receptionist almost didn't even let us put our bags in the front desk so we could rest. I had to push her. Not sure why the unfriendly and strict attitude. I wasn't asking for the room to be ready, just a place to drop our backpacks. The optional buffet breakfast is simple but decent. Overall, they need to improve.

👍👍 This is a great place for everything you want to do! Although the swimming pool is a bit cold, the personal and the facilities like the gym or the canteen, makes of this place an exceptional opportunity to relax and chill.

👍 The views of the house are spectacular and its location allows for good walks. However, some details such as the bathroom should be improved.
