This is our second year in a row staying at this wonderful hotel, despite not being in the habit of returning to the same place twice. This is a 5* family resort, with the added opportunity for adults/couples of an exclusive area with pool, bar and separate dining space. We travelled as 3 adults and a 7 year old and had a room on the ground floor by the kids pool. The room is (and was last year) spotlessly clean, every day. Beds are comfortable, we love the refillable water stations, and having direct access to the waterslides was a game changer for our 7 y/o. There are some staff members that particularly stand out, Cristina and Luis in the restaurant come to mind, but all are hard working, positive and couldn’t do enough for you. For our second year in a row, we haven’t had a problem getting 4 sunbeds every day (in August and without having to sit on them since 8am I may add), and it hasn’t ever felt overrun or too busy. The food is genuinely incredible. The variety, the quality, you cannot fault it - there is something for everyone and we’ve eaten like kings and queens both years. This is an excellent choice for a break away in the sun, with fantastic food and wonderful staff.

Stayed for 7 nights as part of a family group of 17 people. Hotel was spotless and the food was really good. Rooms were very comfy and spacious. All of the staff were really friendly and polite. I would definitely stay here again. The air con was a little disappointing and never really felt cool. I thought it was just our room to start but in total our group had 7 rooms in different areas of the hotel and they all said the same. Night time entertainment was also a little disappointing. When it was on it was good but the hotel has a prestige area where you have to pay extra but no children are allowed and for half of our stay the live entertainment was in that area. The final negative was that even though we were all inclusive some of the bars charge for food and drink so you have to constantly check the hotel app to see what you can and can't have without paying extra.

We arrived Saturday for our mini honeymoon and my husband’s birthday. From the second we got out of the transfer the staff have been just fantastic. They are so professional, yet friendly. Always greet you with a smile. A special mention to ‘Raul’ at the Star Prestige Bar. He is a lovely young man and will definitely go places. The lovely ‘David’ checked us in and within a half hour we received a phone call to advise our room was ready. We arrived to find we received an upgrade to a junior suite. Our suite looks out onto the pool area, the trim is beautiful, very clean, lovely shower room with excellent water pressure. The lovely girl that cleans our room is very efficient and takes pride in her work. The star prestige pool is lovely, the area is kept spotless and the staff are always walking around to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. I will most definitely be returning to this hotel. It’s most definitely 5 star from the facilities to the comfortable bed, the food, beverage options, and location. Thank you all for making our holiday

Few recommendations from friends with kids was enough to lock it in. Came during half term holidays. Really an awesome time. We made use of kids club, kids disco, kids pool w/ slides and were half board, so had both breakfast and dinner. Every staff member greets you when they see you. The food was deliciously tasty, with 3/4 cook on demand stations operating per meal (seafood, steak, pastas, omelettes, paella etc) This isn’t 5 star luxury, in the pure sense, if I had heaps and heaps of cash, I’d probably go somewhere else, but what it is, is 5 star, switch your brain off, safe, clean, delicious, comfortable and bogan free, Which is all most of us ask for. If you have kids, pull the trigger.

My wife and my 18yr old daughter has just returned 4/09/2023- 11/09/2023, we were all inclusive and I can’t really fault the hotel. The food is amazing, drinks package is top notch, location is good, staff are great. We did not go for the star prestige maybe we should have because there were quite a few kids but it wasn’t really an issue. Sun lounges we didn’t have any problems getting one as long as you were there before 10am, we did see some cockroaches but is that not common in the canaries. Overall definitely rate this hotel 4-5 star and would definitely recommend .

A Disappointing Experience at Iberostar Lanzarote - Won't Return Our recent stay at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park was far from the luxurious 5-star experience we had hoped for, especially as we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we checked in, things went downhill. Firstly, upon entering our Prestige Star room, we were greeted by unwelcome guests - ants! They were on the table and crawling around the bed. The room also had a stale odor, which didn't sit well with us. We promptly reported the issue to the reception, but the staff's response was far from professional. They seemed to brush off our concerns and even tried to blame us for the ant problem, suggesting it was due to food in the room. It was disheartening to see such a lack of urgency and empathy from the hotel's employees. We had to endure a considerable wait while the staff decided to move us to another room. It was our anniversary night, and the entire process left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. Throughout this ordeal, the staff failed to offer any genuine apologies or understanding for the inconvenience caused. Things only got worse when we tried to escalate the matter to the general manager. Instead of being receptive, he adopted a blunt and demeaning attitude. He completely disregarded our concerns and emotions, leaving us shocked and emotionally drained. This kind of aggressive behavior is inexcusable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 5-star. In the end, our experience at Iberostar Lanzarote left us with no other option but to check out early. It's truly disheartening that our anniversary trip was marred by such unprofessional behavior and an overall lack of care from the hotel's staff. Considering the amount we paid for this stay, we expected a much higher level of service and quality. Unfortunately, Iberostar Lanzarote Park failed to meet even the most basic expectations of a 5-star establishment. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Iberostar, and we will not be staying with them again in the future. It's essential for hotels to prioritize customer satisfaction and professionalism, and sadly, Iberostar Lanzarote Park fell short on both counts.

Great hotel, lovely staff and great location. Lots of hotels say they are five star then when you get there you realise it isn't, not the case here. Says its five star and it really is, staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect in every way. Rooms were nice and clean and the buffet was brilliant every night. Well done and keep up the good work.

We stayed here for 10 days recently. The hotel staff were consistently excellent, everyone from the reception team, the maids, restaurant staff and bar tenders, were all so nice, welcoming and helpful. Our room wasn't great, we had twin beds which were not very comfortable, air con isn't great and seemed to be turned off overnight so it was difficult to sleep sometimes. We visited during half term and there was the typical bun fight for sun loungers, if you aren't out by 8:30 am then you weren't getting a lounger. The food was excellent, we were on all-inclusive and the options for breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. Fresh fish, steak, lobster, oysters we tried all sorts! Drinks were free running, no crazy limits. Ice creams for the kids whenever they want too.

Truly fantastic, luxury experience. Went as a couple. Booked an all inclusive and stayed in star prestige and did not regret it. Truly a 5 star experience. Had a few minor hiccups but really felt listened too and cared for. Beautiful resort and the food was amazing. Didn’t hold my breath for the dessert cakes but what a shock, it was so good too. Cocktails were perfect. Spa was quite standard and didn’t seem busy which was a plus. Me and my partner got a couples massage too which was so relaxing and refreshing. The shows in the evenings were very entertaining and I did really like the various activities during the day like darts and archery which was fun. I would highly recommend this hotel.

All the staff are so happy and make you feel they are serving just you. The animation team were excellent. The bar and restaurant staff were amazing always so happy to serve. The cleaning staff were very good. Reception were always happy to help as well. We had to move hotels as we were staying in a terrible hotel. The food and cleanliness of the hotel was excellent Could not fault it, food was great. My only negative would be the rooms are a bit small and beds not very comfy.

The bar staff Charaf and Jan were superstars very professional happy friendly and quick very impressed 👍😁 The hotel is the best I have stayed in the canaries with beautiful rooms superb food and great location I will definitely be going back as it is a great place to unwind and chill out. Every member of staff went out of there way to be helpful and pleasant I am not generally easily pleased and so this is praise indeed. All the drinks are branded and this is a 5 star all inclusive hotel that caters for everyone old and young Well done to the management and staff

Fantastic hotel! We booked adults only, Prestige rooms, well worth the extra. Food is wonderful, obviously high quality ingredients, with wide range of choice for all tastes. Rooms spacious and comfortable, opening out on to lawn area, gardens and pools. Hotel captures amazing views from all areas, just breathtaking. Rooms and all areas in good order and spotlessly clean. All staff, without exception, have been friendly and always smiling, eager to help. Evening entertainment has been of variable quality. Wide range of activities on offer during day. Some guests let hotel down by being moaners...nothing to moan about!

Staying here at the moment. Super clean hotel. Simple bedroom with a very comfortable bed and large balcony overlooking the sea. Very large double shower and twin sinks. Great value for money on the adults only all-inclusive Star Prestige Wing. Premium drinks like Grey Goose vodka (which is about €50 a bottle in Ireland), are available at zero charge from 10:30 am till about midnight. For anyone reading that has been on holiday in Dubai in recent years. This hotel and it's guests are far more civilized, everyone dressed up for dinner, nobody drunk. Nobody eating dinner in their beachwear or being rude to the staff. Excellent food selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. Vegetarian and Vegan options also. Friendly service from all the staff. The local town is about a 15 minute walk along the coast, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Staying for 9 nights and will probably be returning at the same time next year. 9 or 10 nights is good as the weather is a bit unpredictable, so best to allow for a day or two of less than perfect weather if you can. Definitely recommend

We are currently at the hotel. It is wonderful. I can only comment on the Star Prestige experience, it is 5*. The food is fantastic, exceeding our expectations of what you would expect from an all inclusive hotel experience. The adults only pool area is incredibly relaxing, with plentiful comfy beds and parasols (no culture of bed reservation!) the service at the hotel is the real highlight. Everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly. All the staff at the star prestige pool bar deserve a particular acknowledgement and thank you! I recommend to anyone without reservation.

We stayed in the adults only Star Prestige area with all inclusive. The additional cost was well worth it. The rooms are excellent, with a great location. The food at all meal times was amazing with a superb selection throughout the buffet and live cooking areas. The staff are very hard working and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Can’t really fault any aspect.

We’ve been in Star Prestige for the last 5 days and could not recommend this section of the hotel enough. It’s got plenty of sun loungers, a separate restaurant where the food is fantastic, and the location is great, with a perfect sea walk right outside. The staff are a real credit to the hotel, especially the staff at the star prestige pool bar- they are fantastic at their job, engaging, know how to provide customer services and do everything with a smile (and even a dance if you’re lucky!)

All the staff are so very friendly!! Particularly the bar staff at the Star Prestige, they are all so helpful and happy in their work. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they always make you feel welcome. Views all around the hotel are fabulous, it’s right on the sea front - lots of shops and facilities near by as well. Rooms well appointed and very clean, housekeeping do a great job. Food and drinks very good, always something lovely to choose from - even the fussiest of eaters will be catered for. All the adults only parts are fabulous. We don’t often go back to hotels but this will be an exception - 5 star!! ⭐️

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food and staff are fantastic. In particular, Charaff at the Prestige pool bar is a very fun loving and hospitable guy! Also Jesus was a fantastic chef and cooked up some wonderful food. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough, will definitely return again!

We have just had a wonderful stay at the Iberostar Selection hotel in Lanzarote. The hotel is particularly clean and well taken care of. The rooms are well sized with comfortable beds and a large shower. We really enjoyed having easy access to water fountains and felt that the hotel cared about waste management which is a rare sight for all-inclusive hotels. The food was never repetitive and we really enjoyed the large selection that was available to be cooked freshly in front of you. We also appreciated the smaller area included in the Star Prestige upgrade which offered a quieter dining experience. Our only wish here would have been to have had an outside dining area for breakfast and dinner. The staff were also very friendly and always there to make your stay even more memorable. We would particularly like to send a huge thank you to Charaf and Esther at the Star Prestige bar who made our stay extra special with their caring, funny and lovable personalities.

An exceptional hotel, perfect for a winter getaway, kids swimming pool was loved by my child. Having the snack cart next to the kids pool was helpful for soft drinks, ice creams and hot.dogs. We chose the all inclusive package, which is great value as the food is of a high standard and all the drinks are top shelf i.e. coke in glass bottles and original Bailey's. The mini bar in the room is part of the all inclusive package too. Kids disco was fun and the entertainment we got to see was very good.

The bar staff were perfect, they always did their job really well. The restaurant staff were amazing. The cleaners were wonderful. However, service at reception was not amazing... We asked about a patio door being fixed and nothing ever happened, and we asked for a fan and never received it even though both times they took down the room numbers of those people requesting.

Went all inclusive here in April 2022. Staff are so helpful and polite, food is really good. The pool and evening entertainment is brilliant for kids. Hotel is right by the coast and links to a coastal path which goes all the way down to the Rubicon Marina. The staff are constantly offering you food and drink without prompting and you really feel like you get your moneys worth for the all inclusive. Great stay here, would recommend.

Been coming here for years, absolutely love it my happy place.Stay in 🌟 star prestige, well worth it,as adult only! Section. Great food and service, right next to flamingo beach, easy walk to shops and bars. The staff are fantastic! See you next month!

Gorgeous hotel, cleanliness 5* - the staff are so attentive, constantly checking if you need anything, cleaning the pools and all areas of the hotel - literally can’t fault it. Great selection of drinks included in the all inclusive. The food was good - a little reparative after a few days but the quality was great and amazing selection. The entertainment staff are also wonderful, a lot of thought goes into their efforts. From day time cocktail making classes to evening entertainment - all brilliant. The only comment is that even in the family rooms, the room doesn’t lock from the inside - so becomes hard work with a toddler opening all of the time.

Everything is relative. I was expecting a good standard based on the rating and there are lots that is good, as there should be, but some disappointments of the kind there shouldn’t be. Generally room was good but cooling unit is underpowered for a south facing room. Bed is hard. If that suits you no problem otherwise be aware. Daily clean is adequate. If like me you look a little deeper then it drops to poor. Main concern was the filter on the inlet to the air cooling unit which was filthy. It was also fitted to the return air grill in the room without a filter on the inlet to the unit so it will be drawing air from the ceiling void not only the room. Other niggle was the harder to reach places weren’t clean, and I only check those that can impact on smells and bacterial contact. These are places the quality hotel groups know should be cleaned and they know how to clean them. Out of the room, service varies depending on the staff member. Some are excellent, some disengaged. Breakfast is a good selection, presented and maintained well in a buffet style and good standard as you would expect at this price point. We didn’t go inclusive as we wanted to eat out in the evenings but probably should have done as a couple of drinks each at the bar each day would have cost the same as going all inclusive. Evening entertainment was again best described as adequate on the 2 or 3 occasions we went. I will admit I am not a big user of hotels. Occasionally it is easier to book a hotel in a package than find an apartment or villa and occasionally you find something exceptional. This wasn’t one of those times and whilst I wasn’t disappointed as it was around my slightly jaded expectation level, I doubt I’ll be back. There are hotels out there that I do go back to!

Had a great holiday. Brilliant selection of food on the buffet. Great staff, in particular Magell, Miguel and Jan the beach bar guy. He was outstanding. Always a smile on his face. The room girls were very good and always very friendly and cheerful. Just an issue with the the sunbeds in the Prestige section where people began to get up earlier and earlier to reserve beds. Management perhaps should take towels up before a certain time. PS apologies for probably spelling the names wrongly.

Fantastic all inclusive holiday at the Iberostar Selection Lanzarote with Star Prestige upgrade. Room in a perfect position with fantastic views. Large bathroom and bedroom with tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar which had sparkling water, cola, fruit juice, beer etc topped up daily. Used the Star Prestige poolside bar everyday. Great choice of drinks and snacks and fab service from the hardworking, friendly staff who made everyone feel welcome and at home. Definitely a holiday to remember and plan to return to.

This hotel is just amazing. So clean and welcoming. The staff are fantastic, we see the same people Year after year and are always given a great welcome back. Brilliant service, couldn’t ask for more. The Star Prestige is worth every penny and the pool side bar staff are absolutely great.

Excellent service with attentive, happy smiling, chatty and friendly staff in Star Prestige. Thank you Jan (daytime cocktail genius), Raul and Chico. Plenty of fun filled, with variety, days by the pools or otherwise for adults and children facilitated by more happy smiling staffers! Amazing holiday experience had by all and plan to return in December 2023.

    Good hotel that can be great with some changes. 1) Star Prestige - worth the money. Separate area with its own pool. Significantly quieter due to kids not being allowed. A bar only available to the area. Most important - a separate restaurant area with great view and some special meals. 2) Bars - great choice of standalone alcohols included in All Inclusive service. Very unfortunate cocktails list. With such a variety of imported alcohol, it is a surprise their cocktails are so poor. Better cocktails are available, but are paid. Just stick to Gin and Tonic or anything else you can come up with. 3) Last bar closes at midnight, but the music stops 10:30 and staff starts to close/clean at 11. At leat some music would be nice. 4) Beach - very nice beach protected from the waves. Surprisingly, ocean water was not as cold as expected. It is still very cold though. 5) Other things - it is windy, the view is great, we have not seen any sunsets due to clouds on the horizon (every evening);

Just returned from this excellent hotel. First trip since covid struck everywhere. This is well worth a visit and we shall definitely return. The staff are always smiling and very happy and helpful. Special mention must go to Pablo, Torres and Jessica in the Sports Bar who made sure we were well looked after. Also Jan in the Star Prestige Pool Bar who like his colleagues made sure we were looked after. Thanks to you all for making our honeymoon so special.

Although being sceptical about an all inclusive formula we must admit this was a great experience. We were a group of 15, 4 families, our family (2+3 kids) had 2 rooms close to each other. Rooms were spacious, rather clean and practical. We were most charmed by the kindness of the staff, the variation and quality in the buffet and overall service level. Each two days we went for an activity away from the hotel which balanced out he 'all in lock in'...fitness room was great, in hotel activities were good for the kids (17, 11 & 9), variation at the bar with A-Brand drinks, etc...very nice experience with memories putting a smile on our face!

We are currently staying here for a few more nights (room 2122 - overlooking kids pool and sea). If you are after a relaxing 4/5 star holiday, be aware of the way Jet2 market this hotel. It is more akin to a 3 star at best. The staff are fantastic at the hotel, great people and they really care. It appears this hotels main source of additional income is through upgrades to their Star Prestige offering and the efforts of the hotel are directed so. The hotel has 3 pool areas, 1 of which is out of bounds to commoners unwilling to upgrade (or parents like us paying through the nose to stay at a “5 star” resort). The 2 pools left to choose from are either a splash park and a main pool which is absolutely chaotic. There are no sunbeds, which I can live with, but is also hilarious for the price you pay. The only way to get a sunbed is to sit on a bed from 8-9am and don't move. Even at 4-5pm you will struggle to get a bed and they are centimetres apart from each other. Night time entertainment is at the same location / bar as the pool / day time. Breakfast / lunch / dinner is at the same restaurant. Bit like ground hog day after a few days. Whilst ‘Star Prestige’ get access to their own entertainment, restaurants, bars etc. as well as all of the ordinary ones. The food is genuinely fantastic, and we never eat in at hotels, but we have on several nights here credit to the kitchen. Staff are very attentive and want to help. Overall the hotel is very old, air conditioning is so so awful (it either doesn’t work or makes your bed and clothes damp), room full of ants (including my 5 year old daughters bed) and I did return one afternoon to find my door open and free for anyone to walk in (a problem with the door latch which they fixed). The ants in our room returned after they had 'sorted it' and I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when a large cockroach came out from behind the food counter at breakfast and moved across the restaurant - I had to point it out to the staff who disposed of it (I'm not squeamish but I'd expect this of a 2 star hotel). This hotel is basically a 70/80s build hotel with a new lick of paint. For the price, the value for money is not good at all, Jet2 probably to blame for this just as much due to their marketing of the hotel. If all 3 areas were open to guests and the hotel was not chasing supplementary income from the adults only market it be could be fantastic. It’s not just pools, as there are NO quiet relaxing bars or quiet areas at all. I wouldn’t bother coming back (even if for free). The site needs knocking down and rebuilding fit for purpose or they need to bin off catering for 100 guests at the cost of 700 and allow all three pool areas for all guests. This hotel needs to get the basics right such as proper AC in rooms, no ants, a secure door/room, no cockroaches at brekfast and a sunbed to sit down on. I really didn't want to write such a scathing account of what it has been like as the staff are genuinely so hard working and so professional - however the hotel owners and Jet2 are being disingenuous with customers. If you are booked to come here maybe reconsider your options. We have spent the tail end of our holiday at the in laws hotel down the road, a relaxing pool loads of sunbeds and AC that works.

Wonderful hotel. First shout out goes to star camp (children's entertainment) staff who go above and beyond to make the little ones (and their parents) happy! Great facilities with a heated pool for kids and multiple slides. Staff very generous. Really enjoyed the food spread and the daily special dishes. Rooms could be a tiny bit bigger - we had a family room, though spent our days and evenings outside anyway and didn't mind much. Great stay overall and planning on returning.

Incredible hotel. Well worth paying the extra for Star prestige and all inclusive. Staff are excellent and can't do enough for you. Some tweaks needed to justify the 5 star rating but definitely a top end 4 star.

This hotel is excellent, the service is brilliant and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless clean. The star prestige restaurants and bar ware very good although you could also access a larger choice of food from the normal restaurant however it was always a lot busier. The star prestige pool area was lovely and was always very clean. We will definitely be going back. Special mention to Charaf and the other staff in the star prestige bar - thank you

Very sad to be going home today. We’ve had an amazing week here. The staff are so friendly and do their very best to make sure you have the best holiday. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard, the food is very varied and tasty, fish, meat is cooked to order and to your personal taste. I especially loved the lobster. This was our second visit to this hotel and I would definitely come again.

Fabulous hotel for adults & families in the different sections. We stayed in the Star Prestige section on B&B basis. Suited us perfectly as the breakfast in the SP restaurant was great, with the option of popping into the adjoining restaurant for more options. Light lunch & drinks available until 1800 at the SP pool bar. Then free to try out all the lovely restaurants in the old town & marina area. Entertainment if wanted in main hotel lounge or every night by the SP pool. But this holiday was absolutely made by the amazing Star Prestige pool bar staff! They are all great fun & couldn’t do enough for you, always bringing over drinks, snacks, making it very hard to get back to your sunbed! Some days they came round the whole pool area with trays of drinks at 4pm. They are a great team! Perfect hotel for some much needed winter sunshine!
