We had a 6-hour layover in Vegas and our son insisted we go here for the chicken and waffles. It was definitely worth the effort to get there. We arrived a little before they opened and there was already a line to get in. We got seated pretty quickly. We had a great conversation with the manager there. He let us try a sample of the deviled eggs and the green fried tomatoes. They were fantastic! The chicken and waffles were incredible. The hot sauce and maple syrup or excellent complements. The watermelon was very shocking with the flavors and we really enjoyed it. So happy that we had the opportunity to try out during our layover.

Worth the hype? Yes! Come hungry! Family of four can do a half-fried chicken (if you’re really hungry or have a hungry hubbie, add the chicken and waffles) with a few sides and apps- fried green tomatoes, salad, kids mac and cheese, grits, and Brussels sprouts. Fried chicken was amazing as expected! We were lucky to be seated by the kitchen. Great selection of cocktails- I really enjoyed my watermelon spritzer, not too sweet. Server was attentive and friendly! Food was expedited perfectly as we needed to make it on time to a show. Hostess could be a little nicer. Make reservations ahead of time.

I came here while on my trip to Vegas 3 weeks ago and I loved this place so much I had to come back the next night as well. There was a small 30 minute wait but we killed time walking around and got sat promptly. I want to start off with saying the service is beyond excellent at this establishment. The hostess were so warm and welcoming and even remembered us when we came back the next night and let us know there’s a location in Texas as well! The servers we had were really knowledgeable and phenomenal. The food was amazing. The green fried tomato appetizer was amazing. The St. Louis Ribs were so tender, truly fall off the bone. The scallops were pretty tasty as well. The Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese were so amazing that I had that as my meal the next day I came back to visit. We had the strawberry peach cobbler (main reason we came here) and it was so good!! It’s $27 but if you are a big cobbler fan, you will not regret it. It’s huge! I’ll definitely be coming back to visit when I come back to Vegas.

OK so the reason why I gave this place such a low score is because to me their food was just OK nothing was outstanding. The ambience is okay it’s typical and normal for what you would find right in that area. Customer service was excellent, but even with that I will not go back again just because majority the food we tried was just OK. We had the brussels sprouts, Nashville hot yard bird sandwich, deviled eggs, smoked brisket sandwich, macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders which tasted like chicken from chicken express, and the Southern Street corn which was actually the one thing that I did like. Also had the blackberry bourbon cocktail which was tasty, but I also would not order that again.

Wow! This place has some really good food. The atmosphere is laid back and cool. The staff is attentive and the food did not take all day to come out. The devilled eggs are delicious and so was the shrimp and grits. The fried chicken was our favorite, it was seasoned perfectly and fried just right. We also had banana bourbon waffles and they were warm and fluffy sprinkled with pecans, fresh banana slices and this warm bourbon sauce was amazing, you don’t need syrup at all! This is certainly an experience you don’t want to miss in Las Vegas.

Went there specifically for the Chicken and Waffles but changed my mind once I learned that a half-chicken was included!! Not that it's a bad thing, but I'm not fond of the breast or leg, so I opted for the fried chicken wings, french fries and a side of grits! I was NOT disappointed!! The chicken was crisp on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside, and the grits were like those I had growing up in Virginia. The Bloody Mary was perfect too, but my friend found it a little too spicy for her taste!! After much consideration, she decided to have the chicken and waffles but was not happy with the waffle, as she described it as not crispy enough and too thick for this particular dish, stating that a thinner waffle might have worked better!!! However, she did say the chicken was outstanding! Staff was friendly and efficient, so no complaints there! A nice place for lunch/brunch but I don't think it would be my choice for a dinner meal.. but, that's just my thought.

Way way way overpriced. The Lewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken was good. But $33 good? Nope. And it doesn’t even come with any sides. This was the most expensive fried chicken I’ve ever had, and it wasn’t even that good. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was listed as “Market Price”. Guess what that “price” was…….$88!!!! And it wasn’t even the full lobster. How is it possible that this dish was more expensive than most steaks at a restaurant? I get that the restaurant is inside a hotel and they are trying to make this an “upscale” chicken restaurant. But it should still be reasonable. The food was good. However, the price should be cut at least a third. It was not worth it at all. A great experience. But I wouldn’t come back here again.

Escape from the casino noise into this cozy atmosphere for great food. The steak frites is tender and extremely favorable, and the shrimp n’ grits did not disappoint. But the main event was the Fried Chicken. It was plump, crispy, and juicy. We asked for the Nashville hot seasoning…. Fiery HOT! The service is attentive and appreciative that you are dinning with them. Only negative thing is the price of drinks. Insanely pricey, but I guess it’s a Vegas norm.

The atmosphere is amazing, the staff were very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I wasn't impressed with the Shrimp and Grits to be honest. The Fried Chicken and Waffles was good though. The Mac and Cheese could have been a bit creamier and possibly had other cheeses in it to help highlight the flavor profile some. Definitely got to pay to play here. Overall, good experience.

We were really excited to try Yardbird unfortunately it wasn't as good as we anticipated. It wasn't bad at all but everything was just mid. The chicken was tender and juicy but the crust isn't crunchy. The chicken and waffles comes with a large serving of watermelon which wets the waffle and chicken with watermelon juice which I didn't prefer. The biscuits were just okay, as were the cocktails we tried. Our waitress was a bit sharp and it was off-putting. The gratuity is built into your table so they may not be motivated to be pleasant and accommodating. She actively ignored us on several occasions trying to get straws then the correct tea.

Really nice staff, and were very attentive. Food was AWESOME! Biscuits were perfect, and soft and moist. Chicken and waffles were juicy and the sauces/syrup delicious. Best waffles I've had and also have gluten free waffles that are fantastic. Ribs were amazing and juicy, the dry rub was sweet and smoked at the table. Bourbon drinks were good as well. Highly recommend!

My second time at this restaurant here in this location. Overall great experience. The atmosphere is perfect. Service is great. The food is also very tasty. Only areas I said for possible improvement. Be when you serve the rotisserie chicken a butter knife. It’s not the best utensil to use. Also, the chocolate cake needs to be a little moisture. The bacon on top of the cake really added nothing. My bacon was simply salty bacon I had anticipated that it would have had some type of a sauce or some thing with some sugar to add to the bacon flavor. It was more dense and slightly dry. The street corn is absolutely delicious.

Came here on a Friday night with reservations and was seated quickly after we got to expand our reservation which was nice of the staff there. Good: The fried chicken here was actually super good! I'm not the biggest fried chicken fan so this surprised me. I also really liked the short ribs that they had and the spicy sauce that went on the chicken. We got the half bird and the chicken n waffles and pork belly. The short ribs came in a smoking container which was super artsy. Mac and cheese was good but small here. Staff here were really fun and nice too. Bad: The wait is also kind of long here for appetizers and food. The waffles are kind of bland here and I wouldn't say it added that much.

Just amazing! The food is so good! The best chicken I have ever had! Their appetizers are very delicious and you definitely want to try a few items from their menu. The space is very nicely designed. Make sure to reserve so you can have a chance to try their food! One thing they can improve is their restrooms! Definitely not as clean as it should be.

Being a southern girl, I had to see what the hype is all about at Yardbird. They say this place has the best chicken. Also, my daughter favorite food is chicken, so why not celebrate her 21st first her. I am so glad I booked online in advance. Our table was ready soon as we arrived. We were greeted by the hostess and one of the managers. I did also see this been doing with on guest. After carefully looking at the menu, it made perfect sense to order the whole chicken. It came with 8 pieces of golden crispy pieces of real chicken, not on steroids. Lol It also came with waffles and these seasoned watermelon cubes. The chicken had that crispy season taste not greasy and light. It was definitely delicious. The mac and cheese was to plain for me, not worth the price if you know good mac and cheese. The BLT tomatoes were tasty. The services was really good and punctual. They do charge 18% gratuities on all orders. Which I guess is a good thing since ppl are on go.

My wife and I are in Vegas celebrating our birthdays staying at the Venetian. We decided to try the Yardbird for dinner with some friends of ours on a whim since it was right in our hotel. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it. Our waiter was great had several on point recommendations. I highly recommend the fried chicken if you visit, it was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Word of warning the deserts are out of control and the portion size is enormous. We ordered the bacon bourbon chocolate cake and it was easily 4 or 5 servings of cake on one gigantic tower.

I’ve sat at the bar here numerous times, but this was the first time sitting in the main dining room. Ora King salmon was not our favorite, wish the salmon had a better texture, it wasn’t as delicate as described. Mac n cheese & roasted corn were spectacular!! Reliable fried chicken tasting perfect as always!! Peach sweet tea cocktail was delicious definitely having that again!!

Had such a wonderful meal at Yardbird and our waitress Candace (sorry if I spelled it wrong) made our experience even more amazing! From appetizers to dessert was phenomenal. The standout for me was the strawberry peach crumble with the neat caramel tulle and the street corn, meatballs and the deviled eggs! We normally stay at the Venetian when in Vegas and already can’t wait to come back!

First time here and it was INCREDIBLE. We got get fried green tomato BLTs for starters and I've never have anything like it before. Yardbird's pork belly was perfectly cooked, something between prosciutto and bacon and it was the exact thing we needed to wet the pallet. We also got their signature Chicken N' Watermelon N' Waffles alongside the St. Louis Style Pork Ribs in a family style set up that allowed the 3 of us to have a great time. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious dinner you'll be taking about every time you come back to Sin City.

Heard good things about this place and it didn't disappoint. The Chicken n Watermelon n Waffles were great. Their hot sauce and syrup complimented the dish very well. I would definitely recommend getting this when coming here. This is also a good plate to share if you want to try other things as well.

We went to yardbird on a Monday evening with reservations at 6pm. We were promptly greeted and seated and drinks followed shortly. We split a wedge salad and the bacon alone was worth the price of admission... We moved on to the chicken and waffles and beef short ribs. Totally reminded me of Sunday dinner. So good and the portions are huge so, plan accordingly! Definitely a must visit in Las Vegas!

Ryan was by far the best waiter. He truly took the time to understand our needs and exceeded them. Not only that but he made the encounter personable. He exceeded my expectations… knowledgeable, personable, and awesome customer service! On top of the amazing customer service was the food! The food was too perfect and I mean way to perfect! The food was cooked to perfection. This was my first time dining at your facility and the good reviews didn’t do it any justice! The staff was clean, orderly, and followed the ServSafe guidelines… Everything was superb!Although, the the only thing you all should consider, is moving the tables around… the tables were a little too close. And it almost takes from the great experience.

I tried to get into this restaurant twice, it was so popular. Definitely worth it! Make a reservation or go for lunch. I sat at the sofa and it was perfect. The ambiance of this restaurant is lovely, casual and comfortable as is their menu. I ordered lunch. I tried their deviled eggs, salad and a fresh biscuit. Sounds simple , but absolutely delicious. The deviled eggs were whipped and made with dill. So good. The salad had dried grapes, tomatoes it was a spin on a Caesar salad, very tasty. Our waitress was so sweet and accommodating. The staff was helpful and nice despite the popularity of the place. Go, you won't be disappointed!

We're staying in the Venetian and randomly decided to check out this spot. Service was lackluster. The restaurant was not full at all but there was somehow a 15 minute wait. We walked around for more than 15 mins, waiting to receive a text message. We never received one so we returned to the restaurant. As we returned, there were two other couples trying to get tables who did not have a prior reservation. They were both seated before us. We finally received a text and when informing the hostess, she just said "wait outside." Hostess stand was not the friendliest. Our waitress on the other hand was very friendly and welcomed us with a smiling face and warm approach. Food was presented well. We had chicken and waffles, Mac n cheese and fried green BLT. They were all good. Ambiance was intimate, and cozy. Some of the seating puts you in proximity to other patrons. It wasn't a huge issue but it removes privacy. Overall it was a good experience.

Excellent meal. Chicken and waffles best ever. Moist chicken. Definitely a sharable entree. You get half a chicken. Grilled mango salad also very good. Unique. Could have used some goat cheese! I highly recommend this place for a satisfying meal. The fried Oreo they sent out for my birthday was pretty incredible too 🥳

Food was tasty and service was great. Didn't give 5 stars for atmosphere cuz at 815 pm for a late dinner it was still very loud. Hard to talk but expected. We had the fried chicken and waffles, brussel sprouts, corn bread, and grilled mango salad; all excellent.

Be hungry because you are going to your full and more. We had the meatballs and deviled eggs to start very good. I had the shrimp and grits some of the best 👌. The server was on her game. Went over the drinks and the menu supper nice.

This establishment was way above and beyond my imagination. I had the fried chicken, collards and Mexican corn and when I tell you somebody grandmother was in that kitchen cooking!!! The food was delicious with a capital D!!! If you are in Vegas looking for good southern food choose Yardbird Southern Table and Bar you will not be disappointed. O yeah it’s enough food to share!

The atmosphere was very warm. The service was spot on! I ordered Thanksgiving dinner and it was absolutely delicious! Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and I ordered a side of cornbread. Oh can't forget the cranberry sauce which was great. Happy thanksgiving!

The little gem salad was delicious, though I must admit there was a bit too much manchego cheese for my taste. The Mac and cheese, on the other hand, were absolutely amazing, and I savored every bite. Unfortunately, I had to skip dessert, but I couldn't resist taking a picture of my neighbor's dessert (cobbler), which looked gigantic and mouthwatering. He confirmed it was as delicious as it appeared. The ambiance was charming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience, and I'll definitely return for the famous chicken and waffles.

They have hands down the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever eaten. Delicious food and our server Jessa went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable one. My son enjoyed his birthday cake and candle towards the end of our meal. A must visit for any trip to this area!

Definitely a must for breakfast or lunch if you're craving Southern comfort food. Best Southern food I've had!! We definitely ordered a lot to share and it was worth it!! The blueberry fritter plate was super good! Darius, our server was phenomenal as well! 10/10 and just downstairs from where we were staying ☺️☺️

Great atmosphere. Noticed the Screensaver on the wall with prominent figures that have impacted society in entertainment. Sat in the high chairs by the kitchen. Great food choices. Bartenders were fun. Good times all around.

We split the chicken n waffles and it was super moist and delicious! I loved the bourbon maple syrup and the coffee came with a small cute cookie! The service was phenomenal and the team made sure to check about food allergies. We also enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. It was more like an appetizer as opposed to a BLT sandwich. But the flavors were great!

  • 4/5 G L. 8 months ago on Google
Conveniently located not too far from the lobby of the first floor in the Venetian. Had breakfast sitting in the lounge area because we took first seat available. They also have tables if you wait long enough. Smoked brisket sandwich meat was dry but it had BBQ sauce. The sauce was a little in the sweet side. Others had breakfast: chicken and waffles, brisket huevos rancheros, and biscuits and gravy all looked good. It’s a bit pricey for what you get but the ambiance was nice. Pro tip: I was holding a coffee from Coffee Bean which I got because the Yardbird wait time was 30min but they wouldn’t let me bring it to my table. Had to chug it before entering.

Food came really fast. Service was outstanding. Bartender on point with everything. Half way into the meal and I’m stuffed. What truly set this restaurant apart was the attention to detail from the kitchen and the waitstaff. The servers were knowledgeable and passionate about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and accommodating special requests.

Went here for dinner and everything was excellent. We definitely over ordered, but it was great trying a variety. To start we got a single portion of the fried green tomatoe and pork belly. It was very good. We ordered a side of the skillet cornbread which was good and came with a massive dollop of whipped honey butter (sorry no pic). We also got the Llewellyn's fried chicken and the St. Louis style ribs. The ribs come with a dome filled with smoke which is cool to see and get a wiff off that great smokey flavor. The chicken was seasoned just right and super juicy, very good! We had our two year old with and she had the pasta and shrimp. Overall, it was a great experience but a little pricey (but in line with other places at the Venetian).

Cool atmosphere, great drinks, food and service. This was our first dinner in Vegas and it did not disappoint. Only expectation that wasn't met was thinking that the chicken would be the best thing on the menu but it's actually the ribs. Chicken was still good, but the ribs stole the show. Dessert is a can't miss! Definitely recommend and would come back.

I went to this restaurant twice within the month and the quality of food and service was good both times. It’s an intimate but laid back dining experience with friendly service. The first visit we did the chicken and waffles with spice watermelon and a burger. The burger was dry and simple with a spicy sauce. The chicken and waffles were delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and fried perfectly. The waffle was crispy and the whisky syrup was a great compliment. The waffle is technically savory but you can’t tell. It’s made with cheese in the batter and topped with cheddar cheeses that gives it a great crunch.

Ever since sweet chick closed in London, I have been needing a chicken and waffles fix. You know the food is good when I'm only able to capture one pic. The flavours on the chicken and waffles were mind blowing. Especially the chicken. Even the watermelon had a bit of seasoning in it. Hospitality was good. Different varieties of chicken and waffles on the menu and there's gluten free options 🙌🏽 The portions for us UK people might be a lot but you can always take the rest to go 😉😉 This place is a must go for breakfast or brunch

Absolutely loved it! We had the fried chicken, mac and cheese, collards, and biscuits. All of it was delicious. I definitely recommend it. My sister also had a lemon drop martini that she said was good. Must try spot!

We’ve been to this place for more than 6 years. The place is stylish and the reception is friendly. We love the waffle chicken very much. Good portion, but attention: this time we had to wait for a long time to order our second round. Oh and I love thé weekend brunch menu more!

Our first impression of the restaurant is that it's a nice rustic style and very dark. We got seated immediately (12:30 on a Thursday) and our service was quick. Our waitress was fantastic - she was able to express her opinion on the food and drink. I got the butter lettuce & grilled mango salad with a side of mac and cheese, and my partner got the smoked brisket sandwich. We both got drinks - the blackberry bourbon lemonade and the southern peach cocktail. Every part of the meal was fantastic and I look forward to returning!

My friends and I went to this amazing restaurant. The ambience is great and the service is top quality. The servers were well informed about the dishes and helped you with the menu. We ordered chicken waffles, fine chicken, mac and cheese and ribs. The food quality & quantity was great. The restaurant is a little expensive but worth the money for the services you get. Overall Great experience and would highly recommend this place.

The ambience of this venue is great for dates, with different types of drawings available, including tables, bars and cozy couch area. However the lighting needs work, it's just dark enough to make out the words on the menu. We ordered their famous fried chicken which had thin breading and juicy meat, only complaint is slightly under seasoned. The deviled eggs looked awesome, but some were overly salty. The service were fantastic, super friendly staff who kept us all informed throughout the meal. I would totally come back again.

We had a great experience for lunch. I always love the spicy hot chicken (it's not nearly as spicy as the menu makes it out to be). The lobster mac and cheese, asparagus, shrimp and grits are all excellent. The cocktails were especially nice. Spicy bloody martini is far spicier than the hot chicken!

Drove to Vegas from LA for date night. Dinner and a show ‘Prince’ tribute.. Made reservations 3 weeks in advance at Yardbird. So glad I did, because tables book fast. Dinner was absolutely delicious. We each had a different meal and everyone loved their choice of meal. Now I know what the hype is all about. Great food, good service and chill atmosphere. Oh, I ordered their glass of moscato wine very good! I am not a big drinker and hardly ever drink, but when I come across a wine I like, it is a big deal. I highly recommend eating at Yardbird. If I can be honest, basically an upscale soul food restaurant. A little pricey but worth a try.

  • 4/5 Catherine Byrdy (. 2 years ago on Google
This place won’t disappoint, as long as you remember to make a reservation. We were a bit disappointed by Gordon Ramsay’s other restaurants, but Yardbird is much more upbeat and full of life. Our server was extremely entertaining and helpful. The food and drinks are unbelievable. My favourite was their signature drink with watermelon and tequila. Make a reservation well in advance if you’re heading to Vegas and expect an auto gratuity and a big bill 😉😆

Absolutely amazing southern fried chicken! Possibly the best chicken I've had, or at least I can't name one better right now. I had the Chicken n Watermelon n Waffle and loved it. The waffle's texture was very nice. Not sure who concocted that oddball combination but it works! Also had chicken wings and blackberry bourbon cocktail. Think I almost died by chicken that brunch. If my fingers weren't so greasy I would have taken more pictures. Definitely going back there!

Sat at the bar on a busy conference evening and the food and service quality remained exceptional. The bartender helped me to order because I wanted to try the fried chicken (obviously) but was by myself and not hungry enough for the large main entrees. He recommended I order the truffle agnolotti and add on fried chicken. This was such a great recommendation and the perfect amount of food for me. It also was so delicious. I would definitely order this again!

I had a short 20 minute wait for a table, so I sat at the bar and enjoyed a beverage while waiting. Jessica my waitress made some amazing recommendations as seen in the photos. The food was very flavorful and the temperature was perfect. The dessert I chose was the Fried Oreos and they were moist and very good along with the ice cream! 5 star service!

Best Gluten Free fried chicken ANYWHERE!! creamy grits are delicous. Yummy mashed potatoes. I wish the greens were GF don't understand why they are not. They do have GF waffles, which are also vegan but I wasn't thrilled with them. Because they were vegan( no eggs or dairy) and made with cornmeal, they were really dense and bland. If you like butter on your waffle you have to ask for it. I'll skip the waffles next time. Hubby is not GF so he had brisket biscuits and chicken tenders, which he said were bomb!! Normally I would not drive down to the strip to pick up food to go, but there's a pandemic so I choose not to dine indoors. It would be great if you could modify and request no cheese on grits when ordering online. Last time I dined there I had an amazing experience. Jaci was our waitress and she was amazing. So for dine in I would give 5 stars they just lose a star becuse of the waffles and they have room for improvement for online orders, and its really hard to get them to answer the phone, which is just necessary in current times. I look forward to dining there again in the future.
