I had this place on the list for some time and was really looking forward to it. We were seated at a 2 top that I feel was placed awkwardly against the wall. Our server seemed adequate at first. We received our drinks in a timely fashion and ordered a salmon pasty & bangers 'n' mash pasty with red potatoes & bread and butter. We were brought our bread right away but this is where things started to go bad. The butter was extremely cold and hard, especially for such soft cold bread. When I asked if they had softer butter the server took the butter away then came back with the same butter and another ramekin and said that's the best they had as she walked away. For the rest of the night she avoided our table as I even watched her have another server run our food to us. Trying to get a drink refill was difficult enough that I almost just went behind the bar and did it myself. With so much free time we were able to see and notice things like the people behind the food bar drinking drinks and not washing hands. Parts of the bar cluttered with employee personal belongings including a book stuffed with a stack of cash not being watched that could have easily been walked away with. Ice scoops sitting on top of dirty and dusty ice machines. Cluttered shelves complete with empty cleaning bottles behind the bar. And now for the bathrooms: the men's had paper towels all about the floor. The urinal had a large opaque trash bag half on/half off. The women's bathroom had one dirty toilet with the tank lid missing, one with toilet paper and dirty water floating almost to the top with an overflowing trash can, and one with an "out of order" sign taped to the door. The soap dispenser did not work so those women employees weren't washing their hands there before returning to work and handling everyone's food. We finally got our check after waiting, waiting, and waiting and the only time our server seemed pleasant was when she was seeing us out, all because we asked for softer butter. The thing is if they hadn't just left us there or been so rude to us, we wouldn't have had time to notice all the other issues. Oh. The food was fine.

Read this before going! The pasties are big enough to split! Especially if you going to get an appetizers. So we got the garlic and cheddar chips. They where strong on the garlic but good. Had the meat and cheese, the oggie, and the shapers pie pasties. They where all pretty good. Must try the dipping sauce they come with. Now ever the desserts are sharable. We got the chocolate bread pudding and it was very sweet. Also had the apple pasties and it was perfect!

On Easter weekend my family and I were trying new places in town. Needless to say most of them were closed, needed reservations or didn't take kids. We walk in the restaurant and we were pleased with the welcome ambiance they have. Pastries are really good! Beer variety very good as well truly British Pub. The most delicious for me was my fresh salad and the wings were perfect! It was a good experience. Definitely will go back.

Awesome gem on Charleston and Main downtown. It doesn't matter if your a meat eater or vegan or in between as a vegetarian. They have a wide menu range. Everything is done pastry style and is very well priced. All the staff are friendly and do a great job. You can even see the cooks hard at work making everything fresh to order.

I LOVED this place! The server was the best. I don't remember his name but he was sweet and his manicure was perfection! I loved that there was do much to pick from and I enjoyed the traditional Oggie with both ketchup and gravy. If I had any complaints at all it was about the coleslaw...it had no crunch and very little flavor.

Nice place for food and drinks. Wait staff is very attentive and our drinks were never empty. I ordered the Shepard’s pie which was absolutely delicious. Good portion of lamb and everything is seasoned well. Additionally, the red wine gravy compliments the pasty perfectly. Can’t wait to try more.

This place has a massive menu of pasties, and sooo many of them sounded good. It felt impossible to decide on one since I'm an out-of-towner and can't come back a million times to try them all. They have some great-looking apps and desserts, too, and an endless list of dipping sauces to choose from. I went with guiness stew pasty. The shell was thinner and crispier than I've had before (by no means am I a pasty expert; I've only had em a handful of times) but I prefer a little thicker and richer shell. It tasted pretty good nonetheless, and the filling was also good. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 overall. The red wine gravy was excellent, and the spicy mustard paired well. There's convenient online ordering. The place was dimly lit, with music playing, and have a bar vibe for sure. n Next time, I'll have to dine in and enjoy a beer with the meal.

Totally enjoyed the food and the service was okay. Waitress was very patient and explained all of our questions. The caramel apple pie was super good. My parents said their food "was what they expected." When we called in to see about making reservations, we were told they didn't make reservations. Walked in early afternoon had a group of 20+. We were seated altogether on long pews. When we showed up with a big group, we were told we should have made reservations. Didn't appreciate the run around.

This place is delicious. We got a chicken tikka Masala pasty. It was delicious. The soup is soooooooo good and so is the bread. I got the spicy pepper and chicken soup but others at my table got tomato and another got the mushroom. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Go any and every time that you can.

Very good soup, Mac and cheese bake. My wife and I shared 1 salmon pasty which was pretty large and came with a tasty dill sauce on the side. Nice beer choices and background music playing. The venue is Very large and would fit large crowds or parties. There are long table areas that utilize old church pews as seating which is pretty cool. Make sure you don’t park in those spaces directly next to the restaurant since it is not part of them, You could get towed or ticketed. Just park around the corner and pay the two dollars per hour metered parking. Will go back to try the other pasties.

Our good friend recommended it and we gave it a go. Rarely am I impressed. We order A lot off food. The left overs reheated well also so that was impressive. Remember if you see the Love Las Vegas mural across north he street you are in the right location.

I got the salmon one which was not the best so I plan to try a new one next time. The cheese and broccoli was bomb. Our server recommended the guava drink which was also really good.

It’s a pretty quite place if you visit it during the branch time . Nice music . The place has an opened kitchen , so you can see how pastries are being made . Pastries have decent size , lots of stuffing . Tomato vegan soup , tastes great . Soup was served with 2 piece of amazingly soft fresh bread and butter . The only thing that I didn’t like that the place is provably a little bit short on staff

Cornish Pasty delivers up the British tradition of the pasty. All varieties of fillings are offered up here in a tasty pastry circle that's folded over. It's English food so it's comfort food for the soul...not bursting with wild spices or heat. These folks make their pasties in house and the offerings are beyond generous and filling. We also tackled an order of fries thinking a pasty was the equivalent of a sandwich. Trust me...it's like a full meal. Our bartender/server was so fabulous. He was very helpful and attentive with a good sense of humour. The establishment itself is in a warehouse setting. It's not the tidiest and is dark. The washrooms are a disaster. Lol. But it's part of the charm of the place. I would highly recommend this downtown Vegas spot if you are seeking this English tradition.

Absolutely amazing vegan option, so great for a girl on vacation to have good vegan options. Ordered the vegan guinness stew pasty, and it is literally one of the best savory things I've eaten. I want to move here now, lol,

I can see why this place is rated so well. The food is fantastic and well priced. The pasties are filled well, the sides are great and you won't leave hungry.

From the warm greeting we got as we entered, to the friendly efficiency of our server, Mae D., to the delicious food and the warm comfortable ambience, dinner at Cornish Pasty Co. was delightful. We loved the Sage Sausage, Potato, & Cheese Pasty, and took Mae's advice to choose the Mustard Sauce for dipping--perfect! And we both really enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie Pasty (with a wine dipping sauce) and a side of Fries with added garlic and minced jalapeño. Prices are a bit high, but portions are generous (hubby and I are no shrinking violets at the table, but we couldn't finish our food and took home a third of one pasty and nearly half the fries and sauces.) We'll definitely return!

Wow, wow, wow! Who knew this little place was so amazing! My husband and I were out and about riding scooters around The arts district. A friend of ours had told us about this place so we decided to stop by for lunch! Omg! This place did not disappoint! We shared everything and it was perfect. They evern have a Vegan/vegetarian menu that has some of the same exact items as their regular menu. Props guys! The service was phenomenal and the afternoon vibes were super chill. I'm sure this place gets crazy busy In the evenings and weekends. We will definitely be back to try some different things!

Chicken pot pie, was amazing. Could only finish half of it. Sticky toffee pudding was even better. Was not a fan of the mexican candy cocktail. I wasn't going to complain though, the bartender was comping it for it taking a while. After paying though, i noticed that they kept the drink on the bill too, i brought it up the waitress's attention and all she said was sorry. Still ended up having to pay for it when they said they were comping it.

03/31/22: I ordered to go and sat at the bar waiting for my order. The place was busy and understaffed. The gal that took my order was very nice, but pulled in so many ways. The fella with the beard/moustache (pictured in one of my photos) in the kitchen was frazzled and stressed out. He was cursing a lot due to the busyness of the night. With the kitchen open to the public, you could see the pasties and food being made. That’s really cool to see, but you can see everything. Everything meaning how the frazzled guy was preparing food. I saw him grabbing cooked fries and other foods with his bare hands and placing it in to go containers and plates after touching equipment, pots, hot pans, towels, and other things. It just looked kinda gross. There were also two young ladies (one was prepping vegetables and the other making meatball pasties) that were quietly and efficiently. I liked seeing them work especially the one making the pasties. I only tried the salmon pasty and fries that I ordered. The salmon pasty was not as flavorful or good as expected. I did like the pasty crust, but the flavor of the sauce wasn’t appealing to me. The salmon was on the border of being dry. The vegetables (tomatoes, potatoes, spinach) were ok. The sauce kinda ruined it for me. The fries were baked and ended up being really dry. Also, after seeing how the angry cook/chef handled food, I should’ve passed on them. Very underwhelmed with Cornish Pasty.

Wow. This was a great find. Neat decor with church pews & way larger than looks from outside. Super friendly staff. Food was amazing, absolutely amazing. Didn’t take a pic of the savory pasty we had but it was the NM Pork & it was rock star good. Cannot wait to go back & try more.

This place had friendly staff in an arts district I didn't know Vegas had. We were looking for good local food away from the strip and found this gem of an "English" Pub. Everything is a pasty but they are great. I had the Guinness stew which was rich and flavorful. A lot of other standards are on the menu. The chicken pot pie was good and I raised my eyebrows at my daughters eggplant parmesan pasty but it worked!

We came here for the first time last week and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered our side dish (roasted potatoes) as an appetizer. They were well seasoned, perfectly golden and just plain yummy! I ordered the vegetarian chicken Tikka Masala and it was a full on flavor party in my mouth. The outside had a perfect glazed look and was nice and crispy. The inside had vegetarian chicken and tasted like a vegetarian Masala you would get at a high end Indian restaurant. It came with two different dipping sauces, but it was so good, I didn't even need them. We will be back.

We heard about the Cornish Pasty shop before visiting Vegas and, as it reminded us of enjoying pasty's in England, we wanted to give it a try. Located on busy (and mostly industrial-like) Charleston St, just south of the Vegas Art District, Cornish Pasty is within a large commercial building, with a few window facing tables, the kitchen area, followed by a long bar in very dimly lit space on the left, with complimentary pool tables on the right. The space was a bit barren but pleasant enough when in the area with the natural lighting of the windows. For our meal, as it was between a late breakfast and early planned dinner, we did not order as much as we normally would have...a cup of mushroom soup (very good and hearty), a the Traditional "Oggie" pasty (meat and potato filling...very good and also hearty with a tasty dip), and a side of coleslaw (vinegar style). While it took a bit of time to get the pasty, there was a valid reason...it was freshly made and it was noticeable. Good stuff overall with friendly and informative staff guiding us through the various pasty options (and there are a lot). Enjoy!

This place is great for a proper dinner as well as late night snacks and great beer. I just had a royale with cheese pasty, and it was cooked to perfection. Look below for pics of the royale with cheese. A pasty is like a calzone but with a flaky croissant like outer layer. Sooo good. They also have amazing salads!

We shared Original one & French dip. I had never eaten real pasties before, so I didn't know well, but it was very delicious!! At first, we were worried that one serving of pasty would be enough, but it was enough to fill us up. I recommend ordering different types and sharing so you don't get bored. The interior was also great, even the wallpaper in the bathroom.

This spot was a fabulous discovery. They have a wide array of pasties, starters, and desserts. I had the bangers and mash pasty with red wine gravy. They also serve a nice variety of draft beer. Though I didn't play, they even have table games if you are into that. The downside was that it was a bit dark and not a lot of parking. People were friendly and my server, Ashley, was great 👍

Great food and overall vibe. Great rock music selection. I love going here all the time with my friends, especially out of town friends visiting usually love this place. They have good vegetarian options. A wide variety of flavors and fillings for the pasties. I've probably been here over 50 times by now. It's always a good go. For desert, I highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding.

my first time eating out at a british restaurant and it was so worth it. the salmon pastie comes with tomato, asparagus, potato and spinach fillings and a white wine + creamy dill sauce. the pastie was pretty yum, but still a bit greasy and heavy for my personal liking that i could only finish half of it (also due to the portion size). the service was pretty good, a tiny bit slow tho. sitting at the countertop and watching staff making the pasties live was fun.

  • 4/5 Chris M. 1 year ago on Google
It was quite quiet when we visited - it's a very large room and only a few tables were occupied. The food was about as expected - the pastries were a little dry having been baked ahead and then reheated, but given how long it would take to bake to order, there's really no other option available, and the outstanding gravy easily offset the dryness. We had an awesome server who made the whole experience very pleasant.

Im mad that ill never be able to come back here since i live on the other side of the country. The mushroom walnut spinach soup is so full of mushroom flavor, a surprising star. Its served with two pieces of bread and a generous amount of butter. The pasties are phenomenal, the dough is flaky and baked to perfection. They are huge! Could have definitely just ordered one for 2 people. Chock full of filling and excellent flavors. Well thought out flavor combinations. This place is a win for sure

This is a huge place. If coming for cocktails, you could get overwhelmed by how large the place is. I had a pasty(traditional) and it was point on, the crust was perfectly baked and the inside ingredients was delicious. What put it over the top was the gravy dip the pasty is served with. Also had the Scotch Egg…. good but only wished the yolk was runny instead of hard boiled. Still good though. Have to pay at a metered street parking $2/hr…..NO parking lot.

Our experience was decent. The food was good and the atmosphere trendy. We did have to wait a seemingly exaggerated time before the hostess came to greet and seat us. It was a good thing the cook was aware of our presence and made a point of greeting us and getting the hostess in the middle of her preparing food, (it took a couple of attempts, however) which I will note, the place was slightly busy. I was surprised to find no one attending the arriving guests and was happy when someone finally appeared and sat us. Once we got past the whole seating fiasco, the rest of our visit went well. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the food was good. We both had salads and shared a side order of fries with cheddar cheese loaded with bacon. Yum.

This place was...unique. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was not what I was expecting. I know that probably doesn't make sense, but that's the best way I could describe it. The pasty itself, was very good. The homemade bread and butter was fantastic. But the decor, music and the lighting in the place was very drab. It didn't lend itself to a feel-good experience. I can't say that I don't recommend it, because it was a unique experience and the food was good...but then again, I'm not sure I'm going back. 🤷‍♂️

It is alway a pleasant surprise when food tastes twice as better than it looks. I am saying that if pics look appetizing the taste is just amazing. Someone here knows their way around the kitchen. I’ve had the Peppered Steak and I was expecting: “boy that blue cheese will be overpowering”. Not the case: it was a wonderful blend with the other strong flavors. My wife had the veggie oggy and she was delighted. Kids did the meatball and they loved it which shows, again some skills not just in English cuisine but italian fusion is totally nailed at this establishment. Thank you !

This is a great place to go with a group for beer and dinner. The food was delicious, I had the Peppered Steak pasty with peppercorn sauce and red potatoes both of which were hot, fresh, and flavorful. The pasty was cooked very well, the meat was tender and flavorful but the food is heavy, so keep in mind. Really good service. I took an Uber here, $10, so I cannot say how parking is in the area but I do recommend people get off the strip to try new places. The pasty being a concept from old times where miners and workers could take food that could fit in their pockets.
