We
heard
about
the
Cornish
Pasty
shop
before
visiting
Vegas
and,
as
it
reminded
us
of
enjoying
pasty's
in
England,
we
wanted
to
give
it
a
try.
Located
on
busy
(and
mostly
industrial-like)
Charleston
St,
just
south
of
the
Vegas
Art
District,
Cornish
Pasty
is
within
a
large
commercial
building,
with
a
few
window
facing
tables,
the
kitchen
area,
followed
by
a
long
bar
in
very
dimly
lit
space
on
the
left,
with
complimentary
pool
tables
on
the
right.
The
space
was
a
bit
barren
but
pleasant
enough
when
in
the
area
with
the
natural
lighting
of
the
windows.
For
our
meal,
as
it
was
between
a
late
breakfast
and
early
planned
dinner,
we
did
not
order
as
much
as
we
normally
would
have...a
cup
of
mushroom
soup
(very
good
and
hearty),
a
the
Traditional
"Oggie"
pasty
(meat
and
potato
filling...very
good
and
also
hearty
with
a
tasty
dip),
and
a
side
of
coleslaw
(vinegar
style).
While
it
took
a
bit
of
time
to
get
the
pasty,
there
was
a
valid
reason...it
was
freshly
made
and
it
was
noticeable.
Good
stuff
overall
with
friendly
and
informative
staff
guiding
us
through
the
various
pasty
options
(and
there
are
a
lot).
Enjoy!
