Extraordinary delicious food. I would say it is the best Japanese food I have had so far. Great service and the server even remembered what I had last time after revisit. The food portion is okay for the price with the quality of food. However, the large plates has decent amount of food that can get you full

Thanks to Kelly and Michele at the bar, Sushisamba was our best experience in Vegas this trip! The service was top notch and I feel like I've made new friends! From the time we pulled up a couple seats at the bar we were made to feel both welcomed and appreciated. With such a new and unique menu for both food and drinks we relied on Kelly's recommendations and she nailed it! We got the tempura beans and three specialty rolls along with delicious drinks I'll never remember the names of!! Everything was absolutely amazing! The first two rolls were baked rolls, the last one wasn't on the menu yet and was loaded with fresh tuna and salmon. We missed happy hour so will definitely be back next time we're in Vegas! Very highly recommended and do sit at the bar with Kelly, she's the best of the best!

It is hidden inside the shopping mall of Palazzo, and famous for being good for Sushi, but sadly mediocre for service. Sat at the bar, had a drink, small plate, ceviche and two roles. Food was delicious and we'll prepared. Fish was fresh and you could feel that. Great plating and well balanced flavors and textures. Drinks were so so, was not balanced and had bitter aftertastes. The main issue was the cleanliness and stuff - the overall feeling was that plates and surrounding was not as cleaned as you would expect. The stuff was nice at the reception but inattentive on service. I was approached twice with dishes that were not mine, had to wave for the bar tender and had a mistake in my bill.... Long way to go and improve.

We got a taste menu where we tried a bunch of different dishes. As usual they did not disappoint. Food was delicious. Service great. Drinks good. Some live samba dancing and music livened it all up. All in all excellent experience. We have done this at least 3 times before with large groups and it's totally worth it.

I’ve been coming here for years. This is some of the freshest sushi you will find in Vegas. The Uni is fresh along with the tuna. Every thing we ordered was great. The service is wonderful, love the atmosphere as well. FYI it’s on the second floor near the entrance of the Palazzo. Would I come here again? absolutely!

Wow just wow. Came here twice and let me say the food is just as great as the service. I would say the service honestly is just amazing servers are so friendly and knowledgeable. They check on you constantly and they know their stuff. The food goes with the service we tried serval different items and drinks. WOW. Mouth watering and I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place. Yes the place is a little loud so if you’re looking for a quiet place this is not it. But this is Vegas baby Food and service makes it all worth it.

We had a dismal time at the pool and decided to get food inside the hotel instead. We walked past this restaurant earlier in the day and it looked really nice. We walked right up to the bar and took a seat. The service was wonderful! The bartender quickly greeted us and got our drink and food orders in. We came right at happy hour 3-5 Sunday-Friday. Still pretty pricey for what you get but it's Vegas you should expect higher prices especially within the hotels. We were willing to pay for the convenience of location. We ordered the spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura. A bowl of miso soup and edamame. We tried their Cristal beer.. I know we thought the same when she recommended it. It is a very light beer no bitterness I liked it. The rolls are very small and mainly rice filled. But the fish is fresh. Overall I liked the atmosphere and vibes. Service is amazing just a bit overpriced for what you get.

Just passing by and stumbled by this amazing restaurant that was hiding away from general crowd area. I am actually happy it was not in the crowded place, as it gives you a moment to be away from commotion. This beautifully designed bar and restaurant is a mix of Peruvian and Japanese cuisines. Just to start with drinks, if you like lychee, please try their lychee cocktail, as it creates an amazing symphony of different flavors in your mouth. It's probably the absolute best I've ever had. Food was also very good. Service at the bar was exceptional 👌.

This is my third time at Sushi Samba before writing any reviews. Oysters are so fresh and high quality, and we ordered over two dozen and can't stop eating them. We also enjoyed the SALT AND PEPPER SQUID, dry miso, shichimi, sea salt, crispy garlic, sushoyu $18, UNI NIGIRI (sea urchin) $14/each - so fresh, SAMBA ULTIMATE SASHIMI with chef's choice $250, SAMBA SASHIMI LARGE with CHEF’S INSPIRATION for 15 pieces, five selections $62 - this selection was ok. Everything we ordered was 9/10 with fantastic taste, value, and high quality, and we received excellent customer service! I highly recommend ordering the SAMBA ULTIMATE SASHIMI if you have more than three people and love sashimi to get the best options and high value instead of other choices in CHEF’S INSPIRATION. RSVP in advance is also great to avoid long waits. We came with a party of 2 with no wait inside at the table but decided to do the bar instead. Then we had friends who joined and wanted to upgrade to 4 people, and the waiting time was 15 mins. Some people come later and must wait 15-30 mins depending on the time and group of parties.

The idea of mixing the culture of this bar is really nice. The place is beautiful, the music is good, the food is ok but the drinks are a breathtaking! I ordered a Tom Yam drink (not so strong and AMAZING taste) and my husband a Shisojito (very light and sour, really good). That's why I suggest you to arrive 30/40 minutes prior your reservation and have a place at the bar for the drinks. You will thank me later! The staff were very friendly and the food arrived with a good timing. Yes, you do need a prior reservation! and you can choose your menu while doing that. We ordered the vegan menu and there's one sushi (with pickles, don't remember the name) that is not good, but try the amazonian and the one with fermented soy, the last one is either a love or hate. In our case, a love.

Having a Peruvian background allowed me to enjoy this restaurant more than i should have. The atmosphere was spot on for the type of place this restaurant is. The food was incredible. The were a beautiful balance of flavor, texture and heat. Normally it’s hard to get all 3 right but they did it perfectly. The drinks were amazing as well. Greta dining experience. Definitely coming back.

By far the best meal we've had in Vegas. Flavors for every dish were innovative and perfectly balanced. The sake list was extensive and contained both excellent varieties we've tried before as well as exciting specialty options. The service was absolutely superb. Alex gave us a fantastic tour of the menu, asked us about what we were looking for, and made excellent recommendations based on our responses. The food came out promptly and the perfect temperature. The atmosphere was also lovely, thematically immersive and fun but not overbearing. We got a cozy corner of one of the wraparound booths near the bar and felt like we were in our own little world. Highly recommend. We will definitely be bringing friends when we come back.

As long as you are ready to open your wallet this place cannot be beat. The fusion of food they have here is absolutely insane. If you have $$ to burn get the tasting menu! The fish here is of the highest quality and is some of the best I have ever had. Service is impeccable. It is always on the list of spots to go when in Vegas.

Food: 5/5, portions are on the smaller side but definitely delicious and worth the money. I would recommend ordering a few different ones and sharing. Setting/service: 5/5, amazing service by our waiter. Couldn’t ask for more in terms of it. Vibes were great, love the whole graffiti art installation by Felipe Yung. Overall: 5/5, would recommend.

We enjoyed this special place tremendously. The dinner was timely service, freshly prepared and so friendly. The wagyu beef was an exotic experience that is not described in the menu as it should have been. The thin slices they bring come with very hot stones and you cook beef on the stones. It comes with different sauces and garnishes. We highly recommend to make into this establishment while you are in Las Vegas.

Service was incredible. Great atmosphere for date night or friend gathering. Food was incredibly delicious, creative, always came out fresh, and served with care to our table. We could tell the cooks take pride in each plate going out. I enjoyed all the food and the cocktails were strong, unique and tasteful. If you want solely authentic Japanese/Brazilian/Peruvian food, you can of course likely find a restaurant that is offering that specific cuisine you desire, rather than a fusion like Sushisamba. There are plenty of sushi places around Las Vegas, for example, that are more affordable and possibly more authentic. However, I would recommend coming here if you are looking to experience the unique and delicious fusion of cultures that the chefs are trying to honor, as well as the great service, ambience, and drinks! A note about service - the staff so sweetly gave us free shots and dessert with a candle for our birthday dinner! I didn’t even write a special request for this because I ran out of time; yet at other restaurants I DO write in birthday requests and they often still do nothing. Thank you to the wonderful staff here. That meant so much to us.

Beautiful and delicious food, excellent atmosphere, and outgoing service. I couldn't have asked for more. I recommend the mushroom tobanyaki and any of the sushi rolls. But really, I got the impression that just about anything on the menu here is good.

AMAZING! With so many choices in Las Vegas, it was hard to narrow down where we wanted to eat. We are so glad we chose SushiSamba! We were seated quickly and our server (Mark) was knowledgeable and friendly. He guided us through the drink list, dinner menu and dessert menu. The food was so good but the service was even better. It was the best meal and service during our stay in Vegas, and I feel like we ate our way through the city pretty well. Thank you for taking such good care of us, Mark! You made our night.

Atmosphere is everything here. Truly authentic and unique however, I've had better sushi rolls. Not my favorite food type, personal preference, but stopped in to check it out with my simple cucumber / avocado sushi roll order and Saki. Just okay, but I'm not a connoisseur. The place was packed! 😊 Hope this helps.

Delicious Asian fusion food! Peruvian food is my favorite and the incorporated that in their menu in an awesome way. We could only get a spot at the bar, but I could tell the vibe of the restaurant was great too. The ramen was to die for 🤤 so tasty!

I randomly bumped into this place and it did not disappoint! Tiny location in the middle of hotels and shopping corridor. Food was excellent! Just fresh, tad saltier but it was delish. The tacos are excellent and the fish too! Price is very reasonable. Great attentive service staff. Had an amazing dinner and left very content.

Fantastic service, great sushi and Japanese whisky. I came here for lunch but found the ambiance of the place wonderful. Sushi Samba has a vast selection of great whisky including from Japanese distilleries and Sake. It has a fusion or combination of food from Brazil, Peru and Japan and it works very well including on its fusion options. I had the El Topo Sushi and it was very delicious as well as a Whisky from Mars in Japan. I recommend this place heartily. My server was amazing, informative, helpful and attentive. I had a great experience here.

We really enjoyed this place. Its decor is amazing and so is it's sushi. Things we liked: - The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Top notch service. - The food was all perfectly prepared. We ordered classic maki and some nigiri. Probably the best sushi that I've personally had. - The decor in there was really great. We highly recommend their California and Spicy tuna rolls. As a tip: the vegetable only sushi is a great breaker sushi between sushi with fish in it. This is because it's about half the price but still flavorful and neutral. It's flavor shouldn't impact the next sushi. We ordered avocado but the cucumber would also be great.

Excellent selection and presentation of delicious sushi and other Japanese cuisine! The service is a bit slow and the room seems noisy and crowded. However, the food is well worth it!

During our stay, we came here four straight days in a row for bartender Clint’s amazing specialty whiskey drink (aka night of the witches). Amazing food, service and ambiance. Our server Alex was top notch and one of the best we’ve ever had. We will be back!

Exceedingly friendly and courteous staff. They are knowledgeable about the menu and will give combination recommendations if asked which is a huge boon to this expansive menu. Show up for happy hour and stay several hours for a curated multi course experience. This is among the best sushi experiences I've had in the USA. When you factor cost, this is #1.

Went here in 2019 Nov. One of the best places to go. I found it better than many Tokyo restaurants. Have not seen this many and the type of spread of the menu in other places. Their drinks have a good collection as well. A fusion restaurant worth a try for a big price. It creates an explosion of flavours in the mouth.

  • 5/5 Gary S. 6 months ago on Google
Absolutely one of the best food i have had in a while. I came here alone and i was seated by the sushi bar ( which I did not mind at all because you'd be able to see all the actions ). I did order the 2 taquitos, one wagyu one yellowtail. I also ordered the yellowtail Sashimi Ceviche and a skewer of the pork belly robata. I also had their mocktail. Everything was so delicious. My fav was definitely the Sashimi Ceviche and and the Wagyu Beef Taquito. Number #1 had got to be The Ceviche, it was packed with flavour, sweet, salty, sour, spicy.. the crunchiness from the pepper and red onions.. fish was sooooo fresh. Service was also great. From the Host, to the Server and Food runners, they were all friendly, professional, and quick. I was in and out in 45 minutes and it was very busy

If you are ready for a delightful food experience spend the money and go with the tasting menu. We were blown away by then flavors, unique fusions and the presentation was fabulous. One of the highlights of the evening was the DJ playing some of the best mixes I've ever heard. Overall a great evening and would do it again.

We did a tasting menu last night and had Simon as our waiter. Half of our party was nervous to try it as they were afraid they would not like the items we received. Simon was so receptive to everything we said we liked/ disliked and chose the perfect dishes for us. The restaurant was extremely accommodating to the one person in our party with a dietary restriction. Every single item we had was phenomenal and we could not have been happier. Amazing service and amazing food. Thank you for a great meal on our vacation. <3

Let me start by saying the decor is beautiful!! Great ambiance and excellent service attention. However, I did not feel any Fusion flavors (Brazil,Peru, Japan). Obviously as the name says it “sushi Samba” my craving was “sushi”! I asked for the best 3 House Rolls…. Very disappointing :( I could not taste anything! I am a sushi fanatic so I hate to say..it was not best at all! Then to finish we tried the recommended dessert “Honey Toast”… I didn’t even finish it… my son could have done a better dessert.. very very disappointing. My bill was about $204… plus tip. Now the only thing that was original from Brazil here was the caipirinha.. excellent, excelente!! A real caipirinha.

A once in a lifetime opportunity for this style of infusion! This is a must try. I typically avoid this price range because I always expect more from it, but this actually matches the quality I hoped for. Make sure you get a reservation - this place is PACKED.

  • 4/5 Kalista K. 2 years ago on Google
I was highly impressed by the classy atmosphere of this restaurant and the cool vibe. The bathrooms were architecturally beautiful and gave off this electric, modern look. The food was not the most impressive. It was good sushi for the price. However, we ordered the crispy taquitos which were ridiculously small tacos. This was very misleading because taquitos are not tacos and we were not expecting to be presented with this tiny appetizer.

Omg !!! The most amazing place. The drinks and the food are just excellent. The service fantastic. They have best anti cucchos skewers served over Peruvian corn . Absolutely the best . Wow . 💯💯💯💯💯The Sea Bass the best ❤️

Pretty pricey, but the seafood tasted fresh. Got the shiso fine cocktail and was easy for me to drink and not too bitter. Sushi and tempura tasted okay. Waiter was nice and service was pretty fast.

Interesting place. Location inside a mall hallway doesn't seem right. It was on the pricey side. I thought the food was good, though a friend I was with (who makes a hobby of sushi) was raving about it. We didn't have reservations but were accommodated just fine. Our server was intense but knew her stuff. Overall a nice place. The ambiance was amazing provided you could ignore the location.

Sushisamba has to be the best sushi/Japanese food I've ever had and one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food and flavors were unique and the service was amazing. We had a bunch of food including their rolls and I'd have to say best sushi ever. Even their dessert was amazing - the coffee based one and the tapioca dessert were one of the best desserts I've tasted.

Visited the restaurant in London and had a wonderful meal so really wanted to visit the one in Las Vegas. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious. $120 for 2 people for a wide range of dishes. Pricey but worth it! Highly recommend 😍

Our servers, Andrew & Emi, recommended the tuna, poke nachos special & it as definitely worth it. Their cocktail recommendation was also great. On top of that they were attentive & very well informed on the menu's specifics.

If I could only eat the whole menu in one sitting I would! The food the service the ambience - all of it was top notch! Absolutely amazing and delish. My waiter had impeccable manners ! I felt like I didn’t have to wait for my next dish everything was orchestrated to the second. Plus he was super friendly and explained every dish and answered question about food I had without being rushed. I can’t wait to come back.. next time I bring extra stomach.

I took my friends here for their first time and they said it was the best dinner they ever had. Highly recommend getting the tasting menu. You can choose how much you want to spend. We did $100 per person and ever dish was amazing! The service was impeccable and the DJ was playing great music!

This enchanting spot nestled in the heart of Vegas truly dazzles. Bathed in a captivating ambiance, it serves up culinary creations that can only be described as delectable masterpieces. Yes, the pricing leans toward the premium end of the spectrum, but rest assured, every dollar spent here is an investment in a remarkable dining experience. This establishment isn't just about food, it's about creating memories over exquisite meals, making it an ideal setting for those special dates. If your budget allows for a little indulgence, this eatery is definitely a gem worth discovering for a truly splendid meal amidst the sparkle of Vegas.

Stopped in here a couple times on my trip to Vegas. As a vegetarian I normally don't frequent sushi spots, but this place has a great selection of vegetarian and vegan friendly options. I got the mushroom tobanyaki. Best mushrooms I have ever had. The grilled asparagus was also really good, smoky, slightly charred, perfect.

A delightful Japanese experience full of mouth watering fish dishes. For an amazing experience for delectable sushi and meat this is the place to check out. As you walk in they have a darker ambiance with a lovey elegant setting, and a giant beautiful tree with monkeys hanging from it. Their servers also were wearing fine dinning wears. Their menu is pretty extensive and split between meat dishes, sushi, appetizers, desert and more. Their prices are reasonable but if you order a bunch of items it can add up. We ordered drinks to start and their mixed cocktails were delicious! Memorable! We then ordered a few sushi dishes, a few meat skewers, and a few appetizers. Each dish was memorable, delicious, and had you wanting more. The sushi was divine, the chicken skewers worth mouth watering and the desert we ordered of doughnuts was the perfect close to our meal. This place a special experience that you have to check out!

Trendy Japanese/Latin fusion restaurant in the Venetian serving high quality and thoughtfully crafted food and drinks. Loved that they have a separate vegan menu (just ask for it). I ordered the vegan Amazonian sushi roll, the mushroom curry dish, the plantains with Aji, and the shishito peppers - all super tasty. Others in my group ordered regular sushi and other bites and enjoyed the food too.

This is a Vegas place that is resting on its laurels too much. The environment doesn’t feel like a particularly impressive place and neither is the service all that great. For the price though you deserve a lot better. It’s just wild to me that places on the coast in California with a view of the ocean are cheaper. The food is very basic for a very very high premium.
