This
place
has
a
really
cool
vibe,
very
british
pub
with
dark
wood
and
exposed
brick
with
stained
glass
windows.
The
food
is
typical
Irish
fare
like
shepard's
pie,
fish
&
chips
or
bangers
and
mash.
They
have
a
variety
of
Irish
beers
on
tap,
as
well
as
whiskey.
I
really
wanted
some
fish
&
chips,
and
also
noticed
"Colcannon"
on
the
menu.
I
remember
a
Liam
Neeson
sound
bite
where
he
said
his
family
always
had
some
colcannon
in
the
house
at
all
times,
and
I
never
heard
of
it
so
we
ordered
it.
It's
basically
a
creamy
soup
made
with
potatoes,
cabbage,
onions,
and
cream.
It
was
pretty
good,
and
cheap
($10),
but
I
couldn't
finish
it.
The
fish
&
chips
($28)
were
just
not
that
great.
The
fried
fish
should
be
crispy
on
the
outside,
with
moist
flaky
fish
inside.
The
outside
on
this
fish
was
not
crispy
at
all.
Neither
were
the
fries
(the
"chips").
They
were
soggy
and
just
not
good
in
general.
Worst
was
the
fish
batter...it
had
no
seasoning
at
all.
The
one
saving
grace:
the
tartar
sauce
was
pretty
good.
I
don't
know,
maybe
others
like
it,
but
I've
had
great
fish
&
chips
elsewhere
and
I
was
just
hoping
for
a
good
meal.
The
beer
was
good,
and
so
was
the
service.
I
loved
the
vibe
here,
the
food
not
so
much.
