Amazing place for a small intimate gig. I saw Green Day and it was the best experience ever. Drinks are good priced, staff are nice.

Came here for a Mayday Music concert! Best band ever by the way.... Great little venue, hallway to the restrooms and green room is mirrored and has some cool ceiling posters. Sound was good, enjoyed the Mayday Believers experience here tremendously. Hopefully they return.

With the lack of small venues featuring Rock music in Las Vegas Backstage Bar & Billiards is a breath of fresh air. Tired of seeing your favorite indy act reduced to thirty minutes at a festival with fifty other artists for $199? Check out the line-up including a recent visit from The Appleseed Cast and an upcoming show from Cursive. Easy in and out, plenty of close parking and tons of local eateries like Carson Kitchen nearby plus excellent acoustics - can't really ask for more.

Went to my first show here recently and was impressed. Great sound, good staff and clean. Happy to find a venue this size in town that welcomes rock and metal.

Rad venue with cheap drinks and ample parking in all directions (that aren't in a giant parking structure). Honestly couldn't ask for more from a place, only downside is they section of parts for vip that stay deserted or the way they position the house PAs that block the view from the sides, but these are just first world gripes. Definitely look forward to seeing other shows down the road.

Pretty cool place, great sound, not overwhelmingly loud, so I could talk to friends without screaming at them. Bands were very good. MickiFree was fantastic. Drinks are expensive for a plastic glass service.

BACKSTAGE! Located on the fabulous Freemont street across the famous El Cortez hotel and casino, this is a venue I recommend on a weekend. It's got that old black light poster 80s and 90s nostalgia to it. Every Friday my good friend Shaun Fitzy, hosts a comedy show "fitzy and friends". I will be there this weekend for the upcoming show. If you love comedy, stop on by. For all you drinkers, they have what you need. And meet the friendly staff and say hi. See you guys there.

Been to few concerts here and I do really like thus venue. There is no seating for shows unless you but VIP tickets which give you access to the booths. Chill and a great place to see bands. Sometimes the audio is off but that depends on the band playing. Great location, decent prices for drinks, security is great and music is jammin. May the power of metal compel you \m/\m/

Saw an acoustic concert here in January on a Saturday night. Fits right in with the downtown local scene. Awesome venue, I smoke and I thought it was cool that they kept it out of the bigger show room and offer full bars all around that were VERY accessible. Didn't look like anyone had an issue getting a drink quickly. Stage views are pretty sketchy in the back, but overall it's a cool spot. The first smaller room has a stage, themed full bar, billiards and cocktail tables. Loved the atmosphere and choice of decor. Emo night was FREE afterwards, so we walked out to more live music, wasn't super crazy crowded even after the show let out. I'll def be back for more.

Been coming here to see shows for years and it has gotten worse. Price gouging on the beer, the entire place completely smells of smoke and should have a designated smoking area (Not everyone wants to breathe secondhand smoke), they no longer give out cups of water so you're forced to purchase bottled water, No in-and-outs unless you pay the extra $5. Please do something about the smoking.

Dope venue! Had a blast, seeing my homies perform!

  • 1/5 Chase K. 8 months ago on Google
I feel bad for the band. The venue screwed them over. Playing two opening acts that was basically biggie compared to Elvis. Neither are bad, but when you go to a show you expect a type of music. Even the DJ said the venue screwed them. The manger couldn’t care less…

  • 1/5 Jesse P. 8 months ago on Google
Worst experience ever. Came for a show and the opening acts weren't even close to the same music. Not the bands fault. 100% the venue. Even the merch desk said they "screwed" (didnt say screwed) us. Talked to the manager, we said this is not what we came for, and he didn't care. Even the barback tried to apologize but said the manager made the decision.

Was here pre-Covid. The main emphasis is the music, whether local live bands or open mic. But they had two good pool tables in good condition. Dark, cool, and loud. Very accessible to the Fremont Street Experience area.

I frequented this venue after first moving to Las Vegas but gave up on it after always running into homophobic crowds. There isn't a very inclusive atmosphere unless you're an angry metalhead or a frustrated InCel. I hit up a few shows on complimentry tickets and everytime I felt like I was being judged. Don't put them out there if you don't want people to take advantage of them. Everytime I did I ordered plenty of drinks and tipped the bar staff generously but none of was worth the judgment I received for the door people. Even when I purchased a ticket I always felt I wasn't welcomed.

Went to see Sweet Spot Nation. Conveniently located downtown. Easy parking. Cozy environment. Drinks were amazing "on the floor". Music was jamming! Crowd and staff were lit! Can't wait to go back!

I attended this bar as a venue for a concert, The Certified Psychos Tour by Twiztid, Blaze and ABK. The venue was wonderful, but I personally enjoy smaller venues over giant stadiums; The bar tenders were all wonderful at their jobs and handled the crowd amazingly! But the Meet & Greet wasn't handled well at the door as I and a small handful of people asked multiple times where to check in for VIP and got no answers until it was almost too late and I ALMOST missed meeting the artists I paid to meet. Also, when I got ahold of the venue prior to the concert (which was chat/text only) I asked if they allowed face paint (like most fans for the artists do) and they said no, yet multiple people were allowed in with painted faces. I was very upset I wasn't able to paint my face because I was under the impression I wouldn't be allowed in if I did, yet others did and were allowed in.

One of my absolute favorite venues. Decent sized room with decent sound. The last concert was a little crackly by way of sound but still an awesome atmosphere. I have been coming here for a good solid ten years and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this place.

Came here because there is not supposed to be smoking, but there were ashtrays on every table! My wife and I paid for tickets and couldn't stay as it was so very smoky!!!

Great space and decent drinks. Went for "Disco Transmission" do not bother going for that night. A complete rip off and completely dead. Horrible promoters

  • 1/5 John e. 1 year ago on Google
So I went to this venue and the venue was great. Unfortunately they allowed an event night called "disco transmission". I bought tickets for this event and was looking forward to it as well as supporting this local event. I wrote a previous post about this night. I just received a reply to that comment by this venue saying they did everything they could to make the night successful even though they promised both go go dancers and performers. Well I get there around 11:30 thinking the entertainment had started already. There were 10 people there. . We, two friends of mine, which we all paid full price for this "event". Bought a couple of drinks and just thought they were behind. Well not one go go dancer, no entertainment and the DJ was literally teaching someone how to dj the whole time we were there. I don't see how they were trying to make the night any better. I used to promote my own club night in LA for 7 years and I would never allow that to happen. Now to receive a message from the venue itself trying to excuse the mess of a night is beyond me! I immediately requested a refund from the ticket seller and they have not heard anything from the promoters! Unbelievable! I would now never suggest going to this venue. The owner of this venue should know not to take the side of a failing and lieing promoter over a customer !

Solid venue. Easy to see the stage. Only complaint is that they take their time opening the doors. Luckily, Vegas let's you drink outside. Saw The HorrorPops, The Quakes, and Franks & Deans.

Amamzing atmosphere! The staff was friendly and the regulars were so welcoming and nice. Drinks average city prices but not LA, Las Vegas prices. $8 long Island. It was Karaoke night on Tuesday and the KJ was respectful and very good at keeping the list moving. He even warned people signing up about how long it'll be. Efore they sang next. The bar had an outdoor section for smokers as well. Good seating and again, amazing atmosphere. I will definitely visit again.

This bar was a blast! My friends and I had had a terrible time at most places in the city until we stopped here. There was no line to get in or steep cover charge. Lee Lee and Tim seriously made our night. They were friendly and down-to-earth. We came in for a single drink and ended up staying the whole night!! 110% will return.

Loved the show but for future shows if you have 5 bands up before the headliner on the tix for 9p you should mention it. Call it a Vegas Rock Fest or something please so we can prepare the group to party all night :) They all failed miserably and I didn’t get to see the headliner:( Maybe next time. Please mention in the tix or on your website anything please and if I missed it I apologize in advance. Thanks

👍👍 Had a great time! Easy to access from hotels on Fremont street. Drinks are super expensive but that's expected at things like this. Really good layout. I do wish there was more shaded areas. Everyone was packed under the tents to stay out of the hot Vegas sun.
