Taps sports bar. At the MGM Casino, Next to the poker room. Late night eats. It was OK, had the Tap burger & fries. Vegas Hotel prices $21. About the same as the food court burger but, has a sports bar atmosphere. Sat down at the bar, bartender not too friendly. Should have sat at a table. Overall just OK.

Great fish and chips, enjoyed them more than Gordon Ramsay's! Sat at the bar and Alex was great. Food was very quick, definitely recommend.

Nachos are solid, would order again. Might try ordering all the toppings on the side. Loaded tots are awesome Cheese curds are great. Exactly what we expected Banana pie is fantastic, will definitely order again. Burgers look solid but haven’t tried yet. Hot chicken sandwich is pretty good, sweet hot, not Tabasco flavored. Meatballs are pretty amazing, sandwich looks killer will try that next time.

The place really seems cool to watch sports. Playoffs were on and it was busy, but got seated pretty quick. For the food part, if we only had a beer and salad this would be five star. Off menu they offered a Rib-eye steak special. Loving that cut, we ended up both getting it. Sadly mine came out 75% fat. The other one was good, ( I got a portion of it.) I appreciated our server who was very nice in suggesting a beer that was on special, and was great. She also took the fatty steak off the bill. That's a nice courtesy. There were things I'd like to try on their menu. Perhaps another time.

While staying at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, don’t pass up the opportunity to snag a bite at this fantastic restaurant. Conveniently located right off the casino floor. From delicious double meat burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, tacos, and steaks, you can’t go wrong! Absolutely DO NOT miss the seasoned fries (don’t forget the side of Ranch), simply the best. Plenty of televisions to watch your favorite team sports. Excellent service from Patty!

Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. We ordered a Captains Burger, a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and the Steakhouse sandwich. Burger... about what you'd expect, nothing special. Nashville Hot was not what I'd expect from a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, it was still a delicious sandwich and I'd happily eat it again, just slightly missed the mark for its namesake. The Steakhouse sandwich my girlfriend had was fantastic... like 'forget everything else on the menu and just order this' levels of good.

This little hidden gem is in the back corner of MGM Grand by the poker table room. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. We were greeted by a very friendly host. Our server Joy was probably one of the best waitresses we have ever had. And my husband and I are world travelers and I'm 50 years old. I don't think I ever had better service in my life. She was extremely friendly, very attention. The food was very good, hot and fresh... It came out in a timely manner. We like this place so much. We are going to go back before we head home to NJ sometime this week. We look forward to stopping here on every one of our vacation trips.... Be sure to ask for Joy!

I’m not sure where these people are from giving good food reviews but this place had the worst food I have tasted up here. Literally NOTHING is seasoned! Included is the picture of my $25 chicken sandwich that didn’t even cover the bread so they sat bacon next to it! The clam chowder taste straight out of a can! With more potatoes than clams so really should be potato soup. I’m a foodie and this place I would never recommend

Tap is a must to eat!! The food is DELICIOUS!!! The portions are enormous. As far as bar good goes, this place rates as probably on of the best places I've eaten at this year. The salads are tasty and the burgers are the best. There burgers rank in my top 3 burger spots. Did I mention that the portions are GI- NORMOUS! My son and I went to Tap each time we spent the day at the pool and built up a large appetite. Tap hits the spot when you're hungry.

02/2022 We enjoyed the large Pretzel as an appetizer with beer cheese. For lunch we Fish N Chips & Bacon Burger. My son finished it up with Banana Cream Pie. All-in-all everything tasted good and was enjoyable. Only disappointed was the long wait for food and waiter service. They seemed a bit short handed on staffing.

Great lil sport bar. Food was pretty good. I got the philly cheese steak and couldn't eat it all. Ate the leftovers next day. Others enjoyed the huge cheeseburger 🍔. Took one of the patties which was also good leftovers.

My wife and I both got the captains burger. We had reservations for our anniversary for dinner. The staff was very friendly and on top of refills. We both really enjoyed the burgers and I appreciated the fries were seasoned well. Especially for the price, I would hope to not be served bland fried expecting me to dip them in ketchup. The waitress also gave us dessert for free for our anniversary so that was nice. The only real issue we had was the bathroom was pretty dirty.

Food was great! I had a burger. Cost $20. Price what you expect on the strip in Las Vegas. Our server, Chris, is the 1st server in some time that I felt really did the job of what you expect from a server. It's definitely worth a try.

You don’t have to be into sports to come hang out here, but I’m sure when you leave you’ll be a little more interested. Sports photos and memorabilia all over. Today I went in and the front of house staff had on football jerseys. Cute! They used to have ahi poke nachos. Not anymore but man it was delicious. Today we got southwest salad, pickle chips. creamy pesto chicken sandwich, and the Philly cheesesteak which was the star of the show. Those French fries were amazing!!! Good seasoning. Definitely would come back just for that. Thanks so much to our server Billy and Perfecto. They made the environment that much more welcoming and friendly.

From the moment we stepped into MGM Tap Sports Bar, Billy was a standout. His attentiveness and genuine warmth set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Not only was he knowledgeable about the menu, offering tailored recommendations that hit the mark, but his timing was impeccable, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our table was always neat. Billy's friendly demeanor and professional service greatly enhanced our evening, making us feel like VIPs. It’s servers like Billy that make the decision of where to dine out an easy one. A big thank you to Billy for making our visit truly memorable.

My wife and I were really hungry when we visited this place for lunch. Our server, Choy was great. She was very helpful and welcoming. Loved her energy. We ordered a burger and a Caesar Salad with chicken. Both were superb with a good portion size which was very filling. I’d visit here again.

Came here to grab a quick bite before heading out to a show. I ordered the tortilla soup, it was actually pretty good and after a few days of eating greasy food it was nice to eat some veggies. Service was a little slow, perhaps it was a little busy for a Wednesday evening, but it felt like a really long time to get our table's bill once we were done.

I ordered the Nachos which which was a lot of nachos. Adding steak was an extra $7.00, but not much steak was added and the steak was way overcooked to the point that some of the steak pieces were burnt and crunchy. The nachos did not come with salsa.

Every time my husband and I come to Las Vegas, we have to go here. The food is amazing. The service is incredible. You will not be disappointed

We ate at Tap Sports Bar inside the Excalibur Hotel and casino. We booth had the Cajun pasta and it was just okay. The nice thing about the dish was it was full of shrimp and sausage but the pasta sauce left a lot to be desired. I’ve had canned pasta sauce that is better. I would go back but would stick with the pub food as the fried pickles were excellent.

If you want to drink and watch US sports then this is a great place. Just don't eat here. 1 star for Chris my server. 1 star for location, greeting staff and cleanliness. Unfortunately, I was really hungry and desperate, I did notice the table next to me left alot of food but I couldn't handle the queue for the buffet (opposite). I ordered their signature Buffalo wings appetizer. It is a good portion, the blue cheese has no blue cheese taste but it is okay, alas the celery is limp, and the chicken wings were crispy almost rock hard (cardboard) and DRY. As in any moisture in the meat had been sucked out of it. Very disappointing. I paid $25 for spicy cardboard. Also if you like Premiership football the bar is not open for games nor do they seem to show them on a Monday either.

Good stuff. Big portion. Good fries. Ordered mac n cheese with grilled buffalo chicken (not on menu). Was great. Not real busy for a Friday night. Will make this place a go to when I'm hungry near MGM.

This place has good prompt service and good food. I got the Philly cheese steak which was really good. I had a Bloody Mary but they also had about 20 beers on tap. This is the main place to go to watch games if you’re staying at MGM. The have a ton of tvs and will have anything on from football to gymnastics! It’s best to make reservations as it gets packed for Sunday football games.

Do you see the burger patty in the picture? It was super thin. You get a good amount of fries and they have a BBQ type seasoning. The wood plank they bring it on makes a mess when the lettuce a sauces drip off. Not enough substance for me to go back.

Tried el charro beer for the first time here and it was really good ( reminded me of a lighter blue moon taste) Margaret was our server and she was the sweetest. Food was exactly what we were expecting as well, totally recommend this spot.

Had the most amazing French onion soup at Taps! The best I’ve ever had seriously. The wedge salad with steak was just as equally delicious! Service was great and of course lots of football cheering happening! Well worth the money!

The food was ok. The service was horrible. Very very slow. We were there for 1.5 hours more than we needed to be. Had to keep asking other waitstaff for help and refills. Only one staff member seemed to care.

So wanted to give my review on tap sports in the MGM. The food was definitely good but not great but you have to remember this is a sports bar. The service was great here. The staff was friendly and we went a couple times. They had ample TVs and great views in any seat. You are able to make reservations ahead of time so keep that in mind. You just have to go on open table or call the restaurant.

Top notch service from all the staff. Harrell is a valuable asset to your company and kept us coming back each night. Multiple tvs to watch all the sports action during your dine in or bar experience. Definitely a must for each trip to Vegas/MGM.

I got the cheesesteak, which has a spicy cheese sauce.. was not bad at all! Fries are thick and delicious. Good atmosphere as well.

Edward and the Manager Aubrey should be terminated immediately. After not allowing me to charge the order to my room and making my girlfriend come downstairs to waste her time, we walk back to our hotel room only to find out they completely messed up my order. Then when we reached out to them trying to return the burgers they refused! We couldn’t even agree on a refund! I had to speak to an MGM property manager to adjust my resort credits. Aubrey and Edward are not customer friendly whatsoever! their lack of business ethics and incompetency is the reason this establishment is not up to par to the likes of many other restaurants at MGM Resort properties. They should be accountable for not only messing up the order, refusing a refund, asking us “the customers” to come downstairs again wait and re order (according to Edward), but making the whole experience at Tap Sports bar a complete disaster. If I was in charge of this establishment I’d have a talk with management right away. Don’t recommend this place to anyone.
