Wish I could remember the bartender’s name because he was so kind and accommodating- my husband and I visited Atomic Liquors on February 7th, 2022 right after we eloped and ordered a few drinks. The man who helped us made me a delicious cocktail and let us hangout/take a few photos around the bar. We had the best time :) would love to visit again!

What a great joint! A few signature cocktails, good atmosphere. Bartender was fun to talk to. The atomic Era memorabilia, signs and the like are cool to look at. Super dark inside, but cozy. Went mid day so not super busy. Sliding small window on door, a la speakeasy. I think it's used after dark to enter. Not a bad part of town, but it's not the strip after dark, pay attention. Just down the road from the Container Park which was AWESOME. This place is worth your time to stop. I'll be back.

Best bar in Vegas! Such a rich history and comfortable atmosphere. We had a blast with the bartender who really knew his stuff! We were chatting about bourbon when he mentioned a bottle of Garrison Brothers that his boss had just picked up. When the boss just happened to walk in, he asked him if he could open it and after a fair price was reached, he did! I got the first taste out of the bottle. I felt so privileged! And it was tasty! Very unusual taste for bourbon, but I really liked it. An old fashioned will only set you back $11 which is pretty decent for Vegas pricing. Music was eclectic and the smoke wasn’t overbearing. Part of the atmosphere. If only we had brought our cigars! This was my third tome to the bar and it has yet to disappoint. It’s exactly as you would expect a dive bar downtown to be: dark, red with great drinks and an eclectic clientele.

You could eat here but I haven't. The foremost draw is the cocktails and the vibe. Las Vegas' oldest bar and it hangs on to the style of days gone by even if the decor has been updated. Bartenders here are serious about their craft. Don't bother coming here to order a Jack and Coke. Cash and credit cards accepted. I advise coming early in the evening unless you like the young hip scene, in which case definitely come later. If you can get in. A reasonable walk from the Fremont Street Experience this is a more refined affair. Tell the bartender what you like - whether a flavor profile, a liquor - probably even a color - they'll have at least one if not six cocktails to suggest to you. Prices are higher than Fremont Street but the quality is infinitely better. Looking to learn a new cocktail for your home bar? Most of the bartenders are friendly enough and are happy to explain the ingredients and proportions. There is definitely an air of pretentiousness here, and it's not entirely unmerited. If you like a *good* cocktail, come here. Sit at the bar and admire the miles of bottles. Breathe deep, the gathering gloom, and prepare to be delighted.

We visited the place after going to the Atomic Museum. Love the atmosphere. It had just opened, but the vibe was chill. Music was cool, and the bartender was super cool. It's definitely a spot I would return to to check it out in the evening. I'd like to try their food as well. Will update the review when I return. Review of museum in its respective Google Maps section.

This is a real piece of history and Americana … and really an amazing bar. This place has some good beer on tap, plus a good selection of drinks - so I was told. I just drank the beer. Love the music, the ambiance… and the folks behind the bar. Friendly, helpful and decent. Love this bar. Can’t believe I’d never been here before today.

Place is a real vibe; a lovely piece of history, a throwback dive bar and kinda hipster hangout. Beer selection is super and the terrace is in a great spot - feels like you’re right on the edges of the city and yet it’s a stones throw from the Fremont madness. If you’re visiting and into dive bar history, good beer and cocktails, it’s a must visit. Places like this make me wish I lived here.

Loved this dark hole in the wall bar on Fremont Street just blocks from all the glitz and glam. Dark and cozy, you only wish the walls and barstools could tell the stories of the decades it's been open. Supposedly Hunter S. Thompson was a regular there at one time.

I needed Atomic Liquors and didn't know how much I needed it. I'd been in Vegas for a couple days and was starting to get sick of being around so many tourists smoking, drinking, and generally being in the way. I needed a break from all the lights. Atomic Cocktails is dark, quiet, and most importantly has drinks. Devon also gave us some great tips on how to avoid the traps of the main strip since we were heading there later. The Atomic Lager was delicious. Great light beer for a hangover. Very cool decor. The a-bomb cloud looks awesome. Love the Anthony Bordain shrine. And the sign out front is an awesome throwback to early Vegas.

Recently stopped in here for the first time at the tail end of a Las Vegas visit. I wish I had visited here long before now. Arrived shortly after their opening time on a Friday and sat at the bar. The original intent was to stay for an hour or two and move on to the next thing. Many more (than 2) hours later, I had a head full of new cocktail information and learned about some liquors I did not previously know existed. Cecily was attentive, very knowledgable, and patient with all of my questions. More importantly, while I had a few of the on-menu cocktails, she proceeded to serve me several very creative cocktails not on the menu. Her skills as a craft "mixologist" rival those I have experienced elsewhere. The bar itself is dark and the initial vibe is certainly "dive", but my experience was anything but. I would call this a "hidden gem" for sure and will be on my agenda for every future Las Vegas visit, as well as a strong recommendation to any friends planning a visit.

LOVE this place and the folks that work here!! They absolutely saved the day and went above and beyond for us when we were in a real pickle! (Looking for a new last minute venue for a wedding toast/mini celebration the DAY BEFORE our wedding! Very stressful…) I don’t think they get many requests like ours and I don’t think they are used to hosting wedding parties but my goodness they were the hero’s of the day and made our day even more special. We were so happy. They are so kind and the place is awesome. It’s a historic Vegas spot so it was so exciting to host part of our wedding here. The boys even went here for drinks Friday night before our wedding and they had a blast!! Highly recommend this place. Food, drinks, service and the vibe are all perfect. Don’t forget to get a picture of the Atomic Liquors sign like they did in the Hangover movie haha

If you like your local watering hole, you’ll like this place. Small town feel in the middle of a gigantic city. Great tap list, and delicious truffle fries to boot. Don’t miss this place if you’re in the Fremont area.

Had to come to this iconic location in Las Vegas! :-) been operating since 1950 to! People used to come here and get on the roof and observe the nuclear detonation at the Nevada Test Site about 65 miles away

What a great throw back bar. We got there right at opening, which was great for picture taking our female server, and the male bartender, were very nice, and took good care of us. So, go, enjoy the history, and tip well. It has beenarough year for these folks.

I've visited a few times now and it's always a pretty chill vibe, rich with history, and decent pours. I bring friends who come to visit and they all love it. If you ever get them back in stock I'd love to buy a shirt!

We come to Vegas every few years, and since discovering this place, we have made it a regular stop. The history, atmosphere, and quirkiness of the bar are just fantastic.

This was a fun place to visit full of Las Vegas charm and history. We met a very friendly bartender named Brooke who gave us excellent service and a sneak preview of her own special drink called the "Atomic Brooke". It was very tasty! 5/5 for Brooke and 5/5 for the bar for a grand total of 10/10 - will definitely visit again.

If the places goal is to hire a-hole bartenders with horrible customer service, Dean is a home run! Each time we come here, the guy is a jerk and gives us horrible service. Instead of giving any ounce of customer service, we feel like an inconvenience to him. All of the other bartenders are great. This guy acts like he owns the place. Maybe he does? Maybe Atomic doesn’t want repeat local customers? Either way, we tip well and are always courteous. We simply continue to be disappointed by this fella. Cheers

i want to give a shoutout to Cindy! she was an amazing waitress and was able to recommend great drinks. They do not have a juke box here and go off a playlist but they play great music! The vibe is very nice with dim lighting inside with an outdoor seating area as well. I will def be coming back here again.

We always make sure to come here when visiting, and it's usually our first stop on Fremont. Being a few blocks away from the main part of Fremont, you can get a seat (indoors or outdoors) and truly enjoy the drinks and time with friends. Their prices are great, the seasonal drinks are always worth trying, and the bartenders do a great job with mixed drinks. We also enjoy seeing the beer on tap, as we tend to recognize some popular San Diego breweries.

This is legit one of my favorite spots in Vegas. Chill spot good drinks fun times. And full of Vegas history. Most of the bartenders are pretty legit especially Alex, that's my guy always great service and very personable.

This is a real bar. No slots machines or bright lights blinding you. Bartenders actually take pride in making you a good Old Fashion. And the drinks are cheap as hell! Ask for Alex the bartender.

Great downtown pizzeria, walking distance to all kinds of points of interest for both tourists and locals. Excellent pizzas and fries, which is what we usually order. They have a big outdoor patio area where you can sit and watch the foot traffic and events across the street in the city lot. Or you can eat inside in the bar area, which is more cozy and intimate.

One of my favorite places to drink in town. Low key vibes. Well-made cocktails and at a reasonable price. The waitstaff was really attentive and helpful too. Plus the history of the location is just so cool.

The drinks were finely crafted experiences. The food, I don't know what to say, it was amazing! The truffle fries hit flavor receptors I didn't even know about. And the pretzel bites with cheese were perfect, so soft and fluffy and fresh. I'm so glad I live near by. And it's a cool bonus that I get to pick the orders for their produce at my job!

This is probably my favorite place in Vegas. It’s like a time machine and the people (staff and customers) are incredible. And the drink I had (“Strawberry Fields”) was one of the best I’ve ever had. And if you’re a movie fan, an iconic scene in Scorsese’s Casino was filmed here! Love love love this place. I often find myself missing it like an old friend.

Just be warned, it's dark when you first walk in. Fell off a stool that I thought was there and wasn't! Food was great and the lady that served us was worked off her feet! She was super great. It's a really neat place to have a drink and listen to some great music. Bartender was amazing!

Very smoky place. I just wanted to chill, eat, and have a drink. I tried to sit where there were no other people and every time I moved, a smoker sat directly next to me. It's a cute dive bar if you like a lot of smoke.

THIS is my favorite bar, especially now that I live Downtown Las Vegas. It's pretty much a historical landmark, 70 years old this summer, and STILL going strong! Friendly staff, good food, and AWESOME drinks...the Margaritas are 'da BOMB!' 💣

  • 5/5 Eric S. 1 year ago on Google
This is the best little neighborhood dive bar downtown during the week and on the weekends when the full kitchen and second bar is open you have a choice between two different kinds of experiences!

  • 4/5 Sean D. 8 months ago on Google
We came to see Las Vegas' oldest place to get a liquor license. The place was great. The vibe was great. We had a smoker next to us so we had to leave. I would definitely come back, but the smoke was wicked.

Food was delicious!! In house pickles the bomb! Loved the queso and the Atomic Burgers were juicy and worth the wait. Two complaints. One, they were out of a lot of items we asked for. Two, which was worse was the customer service. Our waitress had a bad attitude, seemed to be annoyed that we were there. When asking for water she directed us to help ourselves to the water station as if we should know that. We had never been to Atomic before. Just overall attitude of annoyance and irritation. The only time we got a smile was when we had paid our check and were leaving. Such a bummer.
