Went there to watch the Bears vs Packers Sunday night game. This is a Packers backer place. Great amount of seating at and near the bar along with in the restaurant. They even have tables outside on their patio. TVs in all areas. The Bears lost. After the end of the game they played "The Bears still suck" song. It was fun to sing along with everyone in the staff. Great food -- They had football specials both food and drinks. I enjoyed a beer brat with caramelized onions on a great bun along with battered fries.

In A Nutshell: -Big Dog's Draft House is open 24/7/365. -Yup those are total Vegas hours of operation, but the cool thing is it's way off-Strip in the northwest part of town were locals can enjoy a good time, anytime. -This is Wisconsin sports haven, so if you root for the Badgers, Packers, Brewers, etc...then you will find your tribe here. -However, anyone is welcome here. -I really enjoyed the food they served especially the Cheese Curds, the Double Cooked Chicken Wings & the Rack of Ribs. -Of course they have their own beers, plus others to choose from. -Happy Hour is a good time to go 3PM to 6PM to get 50% off beers, $2 off appetizer's. -If you download their app, you can earn rewards pretty quickly. -I already got a $10 off coupon to use next time. Overall, this place has a lot of seating arrangements, indoor, outdoor, you can bring your dog outdoors too, the service is super-fast & friendly - great customer service!

I don't know what I expected, but it certainly wasn't this 1980's time warp. From the outside it looks like an old rundown roadside attraction. When you enter through the portal, I mean door, the people, music, and decor is just like an old-time '80s Bonanza restaurant. If you love overly salted food, you found your Utopia. The only saving grace I would say is the beer was decent. With all this said, It was surprisingly crowded. Go try it for yourself, just don't look for me.

Really affordable. Great drinks and food. Friendly wait staff. As a native Wisconsinite this place absolutely nails the feeling of a Midwest bar.

Is there a way to give more than 5 stars?!?! Because if there was, I would. Some places I eat at and think, that was a good meal. Not many places do I eat at, then wake up the next day and think, dang that was an amazing meal!!! We went on a Friday night around 530. 5 of us, 3 kids between 13 and 8. Took about 10 minutes to get a table. We were sat and promptly given a menu and drinks ordered. I asked what was on tap and they offered a sample but I just said bring me one. I ordered the Mac and Cheese Bratwurst. Just wow. The macaroni was fresh and perfectly cooked. The cheese sauce was phenomenal. The bratwurst in it tasted amazing and there was plenty in the bowl. My wife got some stew thing and lived it. One kid got a burger and I tasted it, it was really good. Her fries were amazing too. My boy got the ribs and they were fall of the bone food. I thought they could have been bigger for the price, but it wasn’t bad. My oldest got the Fish and Chips. She really likes it. Overall, it was amazing and we will go back.

Went here the other day. It was great. Service was on point . Food was on point . I’ll definitely be returning. I would also recommend coming here for a quick bite to eat or to chill and hang out. Either way come here they won’t disappoint.

Really good beer! What I really like about the place is the workers. They are always friendly attentive and treat you like friends. They always have different beers so every time you come you can try a new one. Food is also very generously portioned and never disappoints. Great locals bar if you just want to come in have some beers and have a great time.

I’ve been here twice once for dinner and recently for brunch. I love the sass of the service. Service in the industry just isn’t what it used to be and the girls here remind you of what the world used to be like (think, Southwest Airlines). But I’ve never had a bad meal here. They opened up a new section for the beer side which was a great addition. The bar side has a real old saloon feel to it. Regardless it’s Vegas so it has a old west feel. The food is great. It’s not super creative or has some specialty item that ‘have to get’. Hopefully the pictures do this place justice.

This was a wonderful place to eat great food and gamble, however, they've redone the place, took out the comfort and doubled the price of everything. This was once my favorite place in Vegas. Now it's an expensive waste of time.

Big Dogs is an old Vegas staple! Haven't been in a while. Whoever said it was dated can feel free to go somewhere else. They have changed some things recently to appeal to the younger crowd - tap room, bar games, lounge chairs. This has taken away from the family friendly area, but I understand why. Wish they hadn't downsized a few years back. Time to expand again! So much potential. Burgers are just the way I remember - hot, juicy, and perfectly cooked.

This place is amazing. Got told we had to come here and try the food. The service and the food were so good we had to come back a 2nd time before leaving Vegas! We had Dakota as a server, and he was extremely helpful with recommendations and very nice, as was the manager there, Chase.

I have been here a few times. The food, beer, and service has been consistently great. I even went recently on St. Paddy's and despite it being super busy, everything was still top notch. Always good vibes at Big Dogs!

This Wisconsin based brewery is the best in Vegas. The staff is on point with service, and their hospitality is off the chain. The food is absolutely delicious and the best Wisconsin cheese curds I I've had in the Valley. Parking is easy to manuver around. The brewery is clean, and plenty of space to get around inside and out.

Definitely a more laid back type of brewery atmosphere. The bar is really big and unfortunately the bar smell Carries over to the other indoor dining areas pretty heavily. I was sat in what really felt more like a foyer than the dining room which was a bummer. As expected, the wait staff seemed to forget there were people seated there. It was a pretty long wait considering the amount of people in the restaurant, but the food was well worth it. Very good! 5 stars if it wasn’t for the wait staff and the old bar funk

Classic Wisconsin Americana I recommend the Brewers sandwich I live here and I drive all the way across town to get it comes with a couple of sausages butterflied criss-crossed with fried onion sauerkraut on a marble rye bread awesome! Drive from Southpoint all the way up there to the far Northwest just to get that sandwich yum yum good!

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good selection of local craft beers. We ordered build your own burgers and a pastrami sandwich. Food was pretty good though the caramelized onions were a bit on the salty side.

I've been here a couple of times now and it's always a good experience. The friendly staff is attentive without being overbearing. The food is a good quality and the drinks are on point. There is a patio out front where you have a meal with your dog too. They have lots of televisions playing a variety of sports programs and the volume is a good level so you can still have a conversation without having to yell.

Great bar and grill! All your homestyle favorites in one place. We had the fish and chips, and the Reuben with onion rings. Fish was crispy and seasoned, onion rings were super crispy! Even the Cole slaw was yummy. Sometimes the parking lot looks full up front but there's parking on the side and lots of room inside!

Went here on my last visit to Vegas. Really cool place and it was worth the drive. The beer was good and the flight I got was in a really cool holder. The food was also really good and just the decor and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

Great sports pub with custom brewed beers. Multiple TV screens, so you won't miss a minute if the Packers game. Great friendly service. We had the fried cheese curds appetizer, and it brought me back to Wisconsin. Real curds are lightly fried with bleu cheese and horse radish dips. The burgers were outstanding. Mine had a pretzel bun, a huge patty plus a brat cheese, bacon, and fried onions. Paired with the garlic fries from a massive meal. Daughter had a burger with bacon jam. Thinking these were two items she was disappointed so they brought her a side of bacon. Like I said, great service. Lots of parking. Huge bar area but also family seating in its own area. Thoroughly enjoyable and recommended.

Big Dog’s is one of our favorite places. I’ve been coming here since high school with my grandma. The food is always good and so is the service. They’ve upgraded the restaurant side a lot recently and made it more bar vibe but it’s still good food. The beerbq wings, poutine fries, and pizza are our go to’s. The root beer is to die for.

We had all good meals. We split the Reuben. It was juicy and the meat was perfect. The French fries were very crispy and well seasoned. Our friend really liked the pot roast.

Great place. Sat at beer bar on Friday, June 16 at 1pm and had the best beer tender ever. He was so knowledgeable about the beer and was so friendly. In fact, the entire staff was friendly. Take time off the strip and enjoy a variety of beer and good food.

We were told this is a great packer fans bar. The food was ok and the beer was ok. The staff was excellent! This bar is about 25 minutes from the strip. We had a table in the dinner room. They had lot of TVs in the bar area. Wish we could have sat in the bar and watched the game. Way more energy and excitement than the dining room

They totally forgot we were there. Had to ask 3 people to take our order! Had to ask for more coffee x4 finally got it. Friends food was ok. But mine had a bad after tate so I didn't eat it. The one hostess came over and gave us a discount. But it was just ruined. It was breakfast for my birthday and it was bad! That place has really changed since the remodel.

Food is good...large servings...friendly wait staff. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was the room was cold, but other than that, everything was great!

There were 4 people in our party. Everyone ordered different meals and enjoyed them. I ordered the Rib dinner which included a half of rack of ribs, french fries and coleslaw. The ribs were very tasty. I also ordered a large root beer which was delicious. I have been here many times over the years and have always been very satisfied with the service and meals. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My best friend lives in Vegas. I am from the Chicago suburbs. I come out twice a year and we always come to Big Dogs at least once. Great beer, great food. Watch Knights games here - very fun! Great food specials - this time we started with the delicious cheese curds - and I enjoyed the rib basket special and added a delicious bowl of Beer Cheese Soup. Last fall, I came for Dogtoberfest. Simply fabulous! Don’t miss it if you like beer! i highly recommend Big Dogs!

Got the Draft House Burger cooked medium and it was one of the better burgers I've had in quite some time. The bacon, onions and mushrooms work very well together and there were loads of hot fries that came with it. They had just the right amount of salt on them and the texture was neither too soft nor too crunchy. They have a very nice assortment of brews that I only wished I had more time to try a few more. The atmosphere was pleasing as the area we sat in played a lot of 70s era hits at just the right volume; just enough to hear and still maintain a conversation. Our server was prompt and attentive, with an amicable personality. Will definitely be returning here.

We got 4 Philly cheese steaks sandwiches and were nasty! Very greasy and lots of oregano, my son got Buffalo wings mild and they tasted like straight butter. This was my first time here and it was not good, i got sick from the food :(

Went here at 5:30 on a Friday, and we did not have to wait. Kids are allowed on the barn side, not the bar/video poker side. Fish and chips were tasty. Delicious breading, but a little thick and hard around the edges. Cider Beer on draft was good, but $8 compared to their own draft beer for $2.50. Must have been a happy hour deal that we didn't see posted anywhere. Philly cheese steak was good, and fries had great seasoning. Prices are a little high for bar food, but typical of the area. Kids chicken fingers were average. Good portion size. Prices on kids menu weren't accurate, but the waitress corrected it on our bill. Service was friendly and food came out hot and pretty quickly.

Always good! We sat outside today since we brought our doggo. They can make you a chopped plain burger patty and rice for your pup ($5) if you ask, and they'll bring water for them too. We came between the lunch and dinner rush, so we had no issues with service, quality, and all that. Happy hour beers are also around $3.50 per pint, which is a plus. 😀

Absolutely the best bar food in town! The twice baked wings and the pot roast are amazing!

  • 1/5 Rich M. 2 years ago on Google
I called in the afternoon and spoke with Nathan. I asked if the patio would indeed be open that evening since our party would have a dog. We were meeting there and it wasn't close to any of us. It was a 70 degree day, so the patio seemed like a good weather day as well. He said someone is assigned to the patio each evening. We arrived at 7:15 with a large sign saying the patio is open until 9:00. Upon going in, I was told the patio was closed and offered the bar. I explained I called earlier and there is a dog and she said sorry. She was nice about it and it wasn't her fault, but the inconvenience remained. I understand things happen, but after calling and then seeing a large sign that said it would be open, we went to another place that allowed dogs and never has their patio been closed. We planned the whole night around this one specific place. Since their signage and staff's information are unreliable to know what is going on, we cannot plan to come back to be turned away again.

Great food with a northern US twist, beer cheese, deep fried curds and poutine. World class beers brewed on site a true gem on the west side of Vegas. You want to game, huge bar and a ton of machines with the same beer on tap.

Met friends for 🍺 and dinner. On a Wednesday evening, it was busy, but no waiting for a seat for 6… We had the grilled hot pastrami, byo pizza & some chicken wings. All hot and tasty. Service was great. Great tap list for local craft beers.

We had the Wednesday Special of all you can eat shrimp, which was good. ( you can't really ruin fried shrimp) Since they remodeled the dining room it's just not very inviting. The room is very large & cold atmosphere they have wooden picnic tables in the center & smaller tables around the sides. They have large TV's on the walls for all the games. The food in general is typical bar food & tasty, i love their Beer Cheese Soup. In my opinion they need to add some atmosphere to the dining room.

Great beer selection, the waitress was nice but did not come by to see if I wanted another beer. We had a party of 12 and no one was impressed with their food. My fish was greasy and squishy. The atmosphere is good.

Came in tonight for the rib special. Very disappointing. They were very meaty but dry and chewy. I felt like a dog trying to clean the bone. Honestly since coming back from the covid issues the quality has taken a dip. Also I don't understand what you are doing with the dining room. Now the garage door I sat near today made me cold because of the draft. Might need to try somewhere else.

George is such a gem! He’s only a barback but he’s treated us better than any bartender has ever treated us! He’s very hospitable and gets to know you and makes your experience 100000% better than their regular bartender. He better get a promotion soon before some other bar swoops him up! Food and beer was super good too, my new favorite beer is their seasonal pumpkin flavor!!! 🤪

The service was not good at all. Most of the food was okay. Not horrible but not delicious. Portions were large. The salad my husband ordered was horrible. We sat on the patio with our dogs, which was nice. The tables were sticky and pretty gross. Definitely not going back.

This is a Wisconsin bar in the middle of the desert! 😂 We enjoyed seeing all the WI paraphernalia and signs for beers that we know. The beer is decent and they have plenty of guest handles to choose from as well. Flights come in 5s. We didn’t order food but they have cheese curds! I dislike ordering beers from a online menu. Our server stopped by often.

  • 2/5 Aj W. 2 years ago on Google
The food was just okay. My sandwich was a bit soggy, I asked for my coleslaw to be on the side but it was on my sandwich. My sweet potato fries were just barely warm. I think they need some help here. I think I saw maybe 4 servers and there was a hostess. They also have a bar as well that people have to manage. This is definitely not a restaurant to go to in a hurry, service is very slow, but I think it's just because they need some workers. Hopefully they will get the help that they need. Kudos to the workers that are showing up every day. There was a male server there that was very pleasant, he brought our food. I think that was the highlight of the visit.
