This
was
my
4th
time
to
Herbs
and
Rye
since
2020.
In
the
past
I
have
always
recommended
this
place
to
others
as
it
always
hit
all
the
marks.
Yesterday
we
went
for
our
1
year
anniversary.
First
Hick
up
happened
when
they
only
brought
my
boyfriends
steak
and
not
mine.
Somehow
they
lost
my
order
for
the
Filet
Mignon.
Then
my
boyfriend
cut
in
his
steak
and
we
ordered
it
Medium
and
it
came
out
Medium
Rare
at
best.
One
side
was
fat
the
other
side
was
under
cooked.
Even
though
parts
of
it
were
still
tough
and
not
very
good.
My
filet
Mignon
was
also
underdone.
I
only
ate
the
corners
of
it
where
it
was
cooked.
I
am
not
a
big
meat
eater
to
begin
with
and
under
cooked
meet
to
me
in
uneatable.
We
ordered
4
sides
asparagus
(very
good),
Whiskey
Scalloped
Potatoes
(best
part
of
the
meal),
Button
Mushrooms
(very
good),
Spinach
(I
expected
more,
Spinach
with
stems
drowned
in
butter
and
garlic).
We
also
ordered
mushrooms
and
onions
on
the
steak
and
we
both
had
the
pepper
corn
brandy
sauce
(very
good).
They
only
had
about
6
beers
on
the
menu
which
is
also
kind
of
strange.
We
were
given
a
free
cookie
which
came
out
in
a
fancy
dish
to
share
because
I
let
Herbs
and
Rye
know
it
was
for
our
anniversary.
Atmosphere
was
good,
low
lighting,
candles,
modern
music,
very
trendy.
Service
was
also
on
par
for
most
part.
We
did
receive
a
$20
something
discount,
but
bottom
line
if
I
pay
$150
I
expect
it
to
wow
me,
not
not
to
be
eatable.
We
had
1
beer
and
1
Soda.
Happy
hour
1/2
price
steaks
are
great,
but
it
still
comes
to
$150
for
2
people
to
dine.
I
consider
2
sides
per
meal
standard,
even
though
you
have
to
order
a
la
card.
Also
they
only
have
2
stalls
in
the
ladies
restroom
and
1
was
out.
There's
gotta
be
200
people
in
there
eating,
1
stall
is
NOT
enough.
Not
sure
if
I'll
be
back
