Great atmosphere here. Off the strip, so it's a good place to get away from the usual crowd. Video poker machines in the bar if you still want to gamble. Great bar service and cool decor. Make the effort to jump in a taxi and come here, you won't be disappointed, especially if you need a change of scene from the strip. Smoking is fine here, quite a small badly ventilated place, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive.

Awesome place! The drinks are strong…and you better like rum! The name fits exactly what it is. The menu is spot on and fun. Spend the extra money and get yourself a souvenir cup/mug. Would love to visit at night.

I always teams to find tiki bars when I roll into different cities. This spot was a great find. Hosting a true authentic island tiki feel, with drink to match. Expansive drink menu. Didn’t have the food so no comments there. A little dark but that’s the idea. Wasn’t too crowded but I suspect at certain times it gets busy.

Delicious drinks. Being inside made us feel like we were back in Hawaii. There were four retired couples who were friendly enjoying each other’s company. Very chill and relaxed vibe.

This was a fun off strip adventure had such a good time I forgot to take photos. Had a number of drinks, and was just asking the bartender for flavour profiles at the end of the night. Seems to be a favourite among locals and people in the know. I will go back if I have a chance.

Ah, Frankies. No place like it. Hands down the best rum drinks anywhere. Best bartenders, the drinks are widely varied in selection, reasonable priced, sets a standard for Tiki Bar atmosphere. The best around, always good. Surfing the drink menu is entertaining, and being there with friends is an excellent idea.

Had a group of folks choose Frankie's for a post-Black Hat gathering. It was very dark inside, the gaming machines took up the entire bar so if you weren't gambling you're relegated to a few of the remaining tables around the room which is a pretty difficult feat considering how busy the place was for its size. The music was not overwhelming, while smoking is allowed it wasn't overly smokey, and the TV was flipping between a John Lennon documentary, a Hawaiian travel advertisement, and Batman the Animated Series, which honestly I really appreciated. Once it filled to near capacity, it did become more difficult to hear one another. The drinks were great, and everyone seemed to have a positive review of the ones they chose, but the standout that everyone loved was the Tiki Bandit.

Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders. I enjoy tiki bars that have more of a "dive" feel. Every drink we had was delicious and boozy. If you're visiting town, it's definitely worth the drive. I also suggest getting a drink in one of their cool souvenir mugs.

Been here the last 2 times I’ve visited. This is one of favorite tiki bars we’ve visited in the US. It’s not fancy- it’s a dive. But totally chill and you feel like you are transported to a Tiki cave when you walk in. Quiet, relaxed, time doesn’t exist there! The skulls on the menu represent how strong the drink is. Don’t be fooled- the 3 skull ones are powerful! Yesterday I had the Lapu Lapu and the Navy Grog. Both drinks were well balanced; the Grog felt stronger. If you don’t know what you want or don’t want to read the entire menu, just tell the bartender what spirits and fruits you like and they whip something up. It’s all delicious- you won’t go wrong! You can also purchase all the cool mugs with your drink - great souvenir!

First time at Frankie's and I felt like I was at home. Fantastic service and a wonderful vibe. Very dim lighting so give your eyes a few minutes to adjust and you'll be good.

I was pleasantly surprised with Frankie's. Having previously been described to me as the tiki equivalent to a dive bar I wasn't expecting a whole lot. The drinks were fantastic! The bar staff were quick, attentive, and very nice! The atmosphere was relaxing. I would definitely return to Frankie's for another relaxing evening.

This place has a fun tropical atmosphere and serve an array of great drinks! The vibe is laidback and the bartenders are great. The Wild Watusi is sharp and wacky and the Tiki Bandit is truly a dreamy nectar. I wanted to buy one of their quirky stirrers but I got it for free!

Loved our visit! A fantastic drink menu with really good options! I wish I could have stayed longer! Such great themed decorations and even a Doug Horne painting specifically for Frankie's! I've bought 3 of their mugs online so it was awesome to finally see it in person. Only one warning, they don't serve food so there can be smokers there.

Def a must for any fan of tiki. Our bartender was amazing and the drinks were fantastic. Not as big inside as golden tiki but they have by far the best collection of mugs and you can play slots at the bar. I love this place.

This was my first visit and I loved it. It is exactly what I expected. It's dark with a good atmosphere and great drinks at affordable prices. The bartenders are pleasant and knowledgeable. The drinks are strong and delicious. I highly recommend this place for a fun night off the Strip.

Great bar with a perfect tiki vibe. Stopped by in the afternoon to check it out and we were the only ones there at first. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the drinks were great.

This is the only bar you need to spend money at in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is excellent, the drinks are fantastic, the clientele are friendly and inviting, and Kat is one of the best bartenders around. Obviously she's a master of the menu, but if you want an obscure and complex drink from the annals of Tiki history she can absolutely nail it. If the strip is your vacation, this is your true escape.

Gambling at the bar. Few tables. It's really dark and smells like cigarette smoke inside. I had the Bearded Clam and it was pretty good. They don't have food.

It was a beautiful 68° bight sunny day. So walking into this tiki bar was a huge adjustment; it was initially pitch black with pops of colored lights. But eventually our eyes adjusted and we could appreciate the relaxing surroundings 🥥🌴🗿. Frankie's had been on my to-do list for many years, and now I wonder why it took me so long. Late Friday afternoon was the perfect time to visit. Not overly busy and with lots of parking this was a welcome comfort after a busy morning. Great drink selection, and the opportunity to buy a tiki mug for a good $ 🧉🍹 Okole Maluna 🤙

Hands down the best tiki bar in Vegas, if not all US. Super friendly staff and awesome drinks! They also sell the glassware and have a great selection... added 2 new ones to our collection. Good times!!

Went during the deadest time of day. Never got served or acknowledged. Didn't sit at the bar to much smoke stink. Maybe there's rule that you don't get served unless you step up. Who knows?? Really not much to draw you here. I would suggest Goldn Tiki.

Favorite bar in Las Vegas! I’ve never had a bad time here… always good vibes and amazing drinks. A must visit if you are in town. My go to drink is the Zombie. Great staff and ambiance.

My friends and I hung out there nearly every night we were in Vegas (they're open 24/7, which makes it easy). The place is a blast, waitstaff is beyond awesome, and the drinks are ALWAYS top notch. It's a must do for me, and if you enjoy a great cocktail, it should be for you as well. Just remember to tip!

The divey tiki bar your soul craves after being subjected to the other bars of Vegas. Really great mug selection. Manageable for groups up to about 5-7. Regular human bartenders that don't try and force an experience, letting the drinks and interiors do the heavy lifting. 10 out of 10.

  • 3/5 Justin P. 2 years ago on Google
Oh tiki bar. Drinks are NOT to modern tiki bar standards. Sweet abominations. 6/10 decor. Worth a visit. Get a tiki mug. Legit deal on the tiki farm Frankenstein mugs 39 w drink. 30 w no drink. Otherwise get your spirit straight. My zombie was way too sweet. Fine if you're most people but if you're a cocktail connoisseur this is not your place. Try a nearby precious medal named tiki bar.

The lady bartender duo, which works Friday nights, for sure, is amazing! They are very friendly, extremely fast without being sloppy and very knowledgeable when it comes to cocktail recipes, Tiki and otherwise. Frankie's also has the best-stocked bar in town. Whatever your poison is, they have it. Disaronno, my personal fave--no problem. Last but not least, their prices are quite reasonable. Your average specialty cocktail here is $12. Overall, Frankie's offers the best Tiki experience in town-- the drinks aren't pure ice as they are at another very popular Tiki bar in town, the decor is great, seating options are diverse and the jukebox is eclectic.

If you are looking for quite strong drinks in a dark dark environment, then you have found your place. Tried a handful of their specialty drinks, but eventually had to ween myself off of them because they were just irrationally and unnecessarily strong. But, that is mostly how I interpret it when I wasn't looking to go out and drunk quickly, if I were...then they were wonderfully potent

Be aware this place does not have food and but it doesn't mean there aren't places nearby to get food. This place is a bar and it's pretty badass! The service was awesome I really appreciated the ambiance

Not my favorite tiki bar of all time. Vibe was definitely there. Good atmosphere. It can be smokey so avoid if you can’t handle that. Sweet tiki mugs that you can purchase. Drinks themselves felt a tad lackluster though. That’s my favorite part of the tiki experience.

Cat you are the BEST! Amazing service, so friendly, and gave us suggestions for our future stops on our road trip we're currently on. THANK YOU ♥️

Decent place to go but service was very slow. Took about 30 minutes to get a cocktail as there was only one bartender. Maybe just a bad night, but one bartender for a place like this is ridiculous.

  • 5/5 Alex K. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic bar, terrific cocktails with the option to buy the mug (I bought two). Dimly lit (as is the way of Tiki bars), no food. Ashtrays on most if not all tables. Well ventilated. Photos were taken about 10am (hence the light crowd).

Great atmosphere, the amount of original Tiki carvings/artwork is pretty incredible. However, I know it's legal in Vegas but the smoking in the bar thing is not nice. Anyway, most of the drinks are average, there are some that are slightly above average. The service was very slow as there was only 1 bartender. To be fair it was about 2pm on a Saturday. Definitely pick out a mug or two to take home, they are reasonably priced and are in their own printed boxes.

Drinks? Great. Ambiance? Amazing! We stopped in here while my wife and I waited out traffic headed back to LA. It was a nice mixture of locals and tourists. The drinks were great. The signature cocktails have mugs that you can buy... Thank goodness I was broke or I would have bought them all. We will definitely be back!

  • 3/5 Nicholas M. 1 year ago on Google
Good environment, boozy drinks. 14 dollars per cocktail is fairly steep for an off the strip joint. At that price I would rather be drinking in a fancier place. Still recommend stopping by if you enjoy bar hopping, I don't think it will become a usual for me though.

I can say enough about this place! I love this bar, I love the staff, the decor, the drinks and most of all the mugs!!! Do yourself a favor and order the tiki drinks in the take home mugs!!! I have most of them and want them all!!! Visit this place!!! You wont be sorry!! This spot is as "Vegas" as they come and the tiki decor and feel just make this place that much better!!! They do not serve food here which is totally fine so carb load before you begin your bender at this legendary spot!! Pro tip: if you visit during the day bring your sunglasses inside with you and pop them on before you exit!!!

Really great place to relax in Las Vegas. Great drinks and a friendly bartender are the key. Also a jukebox full to lounge and surf never hurts. They don't serve food or snacks, but you can order in.

Itvis exactly what you expect of a las vegas bar... without the glitz, glamour and overhead! It is sublime.... and I go whenever I can! All I can say otherwise is GO THERE!!!!

We drove by Frankies one night while visiting and I knew we had to stop. Frankies is amazing. We came on anniversary mug night, and let's just say Frankie's was packed. Locals, regulars, the works, and each and every one of them from the doorman, to the bartenders, and especially the patrons were friendly, happy, and all-around wonderful people. We enjoyed our first time and will definitely come back next time we're in town. Thank you Frankie's for bringing back some tiki flair, serving wonderful drinks, and treating us visitors like family on one of your biggest nights of the year.

Such a really cool place, with strong tiki drinks and awesome bartenders. The scene inside is really chill with Polynesian decor and dimly lit lights. Great place to relax.

A classic tiki dive bar, great drinks, excellent service, and a unique atmosphere. One of the few places left in Vegas that can make a proper Singapore Sling! Try one off menu and thank me later!
