This
little
bar
is
like
a
step
back
to
a
time
when
Vegas
had
buckets
for
you
to
collect
your
coins
in!
(Remember
haw
everyone
always
had
dirty
blackened
hands
from
handling
the
quarters
and
nickels)
red
leather
booths,
low
lighting,
and
located
in
the
Sierra
Vista/Maryland
Parkway
strip.
The
neighborhood
is
undergoing
some
gentrification
for
sure,
but
Champagnes
has
withstood
the
test
of
time,
and
the
neighborhood’s
decline
from
what
was
once
a
very
desired
area
for
those
who
worked
on
the
strip
to
a
neighborhood
where
getting
robbed
in
broad
daylight
(yes
I
actually
saw
this
happen
in
1998!)
was
a
pretty
common
occurrence.
The
bar
had
a
cute
and
friendly
gal
bartending,
and
some
live
music
that
was
not
horrible!
I
hear
they
have
karaoke
and
my
companion
sings
a
mean
round
of
karaoke!
All
challengers
can
meet
us
there
on
Friday…
since
I
now
live
a
mile
and
a
half
away,
I
have
the
feeling
I’ll
be
frequenting
this
establishment
on
more
than
one
occasion
to
listen
to
renditions
of
“Toxicity”
and
whatever
else
the
locals
of
this
neighborhood
can
come
up
with.
Oughta
be
a
good
time,
if
you
aren’t
afraid
to
experience
Las
Vegas
when
the
glitter
gets
smeared.
