Oh my goodness, I didn't know what to expect at this establishment. We chose based on reviews. I value reviews. We had an amazing dinner here. They were attentive the moment we entered. We ordered an Arnold Palmer (made with fresh squeezed lemons) I was impressed because it was refreshing and refillable. They have a large selection on the menu and it was hard to decide what to eat because everything looked so good. We decided on fried fish and 2 combination plates with a taco and enchilada. The chips, salsa and bean dip was perfect because the chips were warm, bean dip was hot and the salsa tasted delicious 😋. We had 3 servings of that before dinner arrived at the table. The decor and the music was great and quite enjoyable. We were all surprised and maybe we were just hungry. Whenever we come back to Las Vegas we will definitely return to this restaurant.

Met two of my friends there today for dinner and drinks. I was 15 minutes late. So, when I got there my friends had ordered drinks already. I was approached by the server and he asked if I knew what I wanted to eat? I said, let me start with a Cadillac Margarita frozen. He put my drink order in and came right back. Again he asked if we knew what we wanted to eat? I said give us a few minutes. He brought my drink it was watered down! I didn't say anything! I just didn't order another one. The server was rushing us. He came back and we placed our order. A few minutes later. He brought over another server and said he was going home. He didn't feel well. The new server was ok. Our food was good. I went to the restroom and it was nasty! I hadn't been to this restaurant in years and now I remember why! We were rushed out for a large party! We paid the bill, tipped and got out of there! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the only sit down Mexican restaurants I can come to. The consistency of the service is awesome here. Servers are always attentive. The quality and consistency of the food is always fresh and delicious. This is one place I usually bring family when they're visiting from out of town. I love how they make fresh corn and flower tortillas in house. Definitely adds to the flavor of the food.

Keep in mind while reading this review that I was visiting from Houston which has some of the best Tex Mex food there is. This place and the dishes (from the pictures) look Tex Mex. So the queso was decent but came to the table a little cold (they were very busy) so I'll give them a break. With the chips congress salsa and refried beans, a first for me. The salsa had no bit so a little disappointing. I ordered a plate that included a crispy taco and a beef enchilada. Of course I was expecting picadillo (ground beef) in both, but instead it had bistec beef. Other than that the food was good, not great.

This whole experience was extremely taxing on my patience and my taste, the restaurant when you walk in, fits its atmosphere. You really feel like you’re in a authentic Mexican restaurant. But when it came down to serving and eating, it’s a cold taste of reality when you come in with a party of 18. Now I might be understanding because the party in itself was big, but we were polite and tried to separate the checks between who was together and not. And in the end all of our checks was combined, and the waitress gave the check to my 9 year old brother in law. The horchata was good, but my plate had the chimichanga with rice and beans and it was not a very satisfying dish. The beans were alright, but the rice was a little dry and almost had little flavor, the same can be said about the chimichanga. The smells and the aroma of the food were mouthwatering but when actually been consumed it was not what was expected. As well as the whole check situation, it took well over 30 minutes to get resolved as we had to organize who ordered what, then send back the receipt to get all of our corrected separate checks. All in all I would say the place and service does not justify the price.

This place was bright and beautiful. The vibe was super fun and the staff was smiling and having fun. We started with a round of margaritas and some chips and dips. I normally don’t prefer refried beans but this place changed the game. The best tasting refried beans I have ever had. The server was super nice and kept checking in. The food was fantastic and if we weren’t absolutely stuffed the dessert looked amazing. Must try!

What a great restaurant to get some good Mexican food! The service here was amazing!! I was very surprised with the quality of the food and service here. We will definitely be saving this as one of our go to authentic Mexican restaurants here is Vegas. The portions are great! You get what you pay for here, even with the drinks!

Authentic, delicious and well priced. The portion sizes are huge. They start you out with complimentary chips, salsa and a warm bean dip. The chips were amazing. Freshly made and still warm with just the right amount of salt. I ordered the chili relleno cheese enchilada combo with beans and it was fantastic and more than I could eat.

Some of the best authentic Mexican food in town. I had the Carne Asada plate, which comes with rice & beans with your choice of flour or corn tortilla's. Happy hour is from 3-6pm.

When we walked in we were greeted and seated by the manager, he was quite cheerful. I ordered a spicy margarita that wasn’t bad but it took awhile to get chips and salsa. It was pretty basic too. I ordered their cheese tamales because the only fish they had on the menu was tilapia which is crazy. The tamales weren’t good I didn’t like them at all. The manager came by to take it away and see if I wanted something else but that enthusiasm was no longer present. I asked for guacamole instead since nothing else peaked my interest on the menu. The guacamole came out looking a hot mess I can’t believe they presented it like that.

Omar is an incredible server. Polite. The mole is really good. My advice, don't order nachos. The chips they provide as appetizer are so good, that you don't need any more. Recommend

Been meaning to try them out and ended up close last week. U pay to park in the arts district these days-fyi. I believe some lunch hours are free. Once we're in the place it's not busy and its just after happy hour. You get one small bowl of 'salsa'...zero flavor...and another small bowl of bean dip to go with the chips, which are actually the best part of the meal. There were three of us so I asked for more salsa and dip and was told that would be an extra charge. So, Im like ok fine. The wine came really fast...the 'frozen' margarita not so fast. It came to the table a weird consistency but tasted just fine. A 2 enchiladas, rice and beans plate was $19.50- I've had worse for more and since we're in Vegas, you can't expect too much-although points for using real 🧀. So, I'll say it was all ok. We never got our extra salsa/dip so no biggie there.

Best Mexican food in Vegas! De-lish!! It just could not get better. The only bad thing is that I was so full I couldn't eat more.

I decided to try this place because of tik tok and they did not steer us wrong! The portions are huge, wish we would’ve done our research because we had so much leftovers and were flying out that night so we couldn’t take it with. The food had good flavor and the chilaquiles cured our hangover! Over all, we spent about $80 for three plates of food but we also got 2 shots of premium tequila so we don’t think the pricing was too bad!

Was OK... service was inconsistent (and it wasn't very crowded) but nice and friendly. I did have to ask for water refills 3 times. Our second basket of chips was charged for (I hate that; but they did warn us AFTER they brought them). Food was just mediocre... rice was too salty, but beans were very good. I had the super burrito for 24 bucks, so thought the restaurants was a bit pricey. Good amount of meat, but wasn't mixed well... I would get full bites of meat... then full bites of cilantro and onion. Clean restaurant.

It’s in Main Street and it’s one way going north. It looks like there is only street parking. We were lucky and grabbed a place fairly close. It wasn’t very busy for s Friday night but we were there at 5:00 o’clock. Free chips and salsa and the margaritas are decent size. The menu is very extensive with added breakfast options. I got the chili rellenos and they were excellent. My wife got the flautist and she enjoyed them. It was my brothers birthday and he got a free shot of tequila.

First time trying this restaurant! I was recommended to try it and was pleased. Tad bit pricey, but the food was great. I had the fajita and my friend has the extreme wet burrito. One item that did stand out alone was their bean dip it was delicious. I also wished they gave me more tortillas that came with my fajitas because two wasn't enough. I'd suggest 3 otherwise it was great.

It's on a one way street, so we parked a couple blocks away and walked there. It was a 30 minute wait at 12:30pm on a Saturday, not bad. The atmosphere is nice, needed all the fans running, the staff were trying to keep up as best they could. It was packed! The salsa isn't too spicy with amazing flavors! You can BUY it for $8.99 and I did! So good! The grilled chicken fajitas and carne asada are delicious! So tender and full of flavor. Wish they had Pepsi instead of Coke, but I'll still be back! 😋🤤

I loved this place. We got the tilapia and cheese enchiladas. Everything was so good. Great atmosphere. We went at lunchtime so it was very crowded so be prepared for a small wait.

Food was great, but customer service was not. That's why I put 4 stars. We ordered chilaquiles and it was a big portion. I could only eat half of the plate. To drink I ordered hot chocolate Abuelita. It was very good but it took 8-10 min to make. We went around 9am and it wasn't that busy. (It was a Friday) when we left, it was packed.

Service was exceptional! Beverages arrived quickly, guacamole soon to follow and then the sangria. Food was delicious. I could not stop eating!!! The salsa was so good that I did not want to share! Will definitely return when I am in the area again.

Disappointing over all. Food was not that good and very bland. It was way over priced. Got the cheese & jalapeño tamale and it was the worse I've ever had. So dry it was hard to swallow, nothing but masa. The kids quesadilla was 2 small corn tortillas with a spoon full of cheese for $11, and nothing for a side. Got the casa don Juan platter for two. The gaucamole was good. But not enough for the amount of food for a 2 person meal. Server wasn't very attentive. Never came to ask if we need any of our drinks refilled. They have complimentary chips and salsa, but you will get charged for a 2nd salsa refill. And they automatically charge 18% service fee if you have a family of 4 or more dining. I would not recommend this place.

Great Mexican place. Had a few mix ups with our order and while the bus boy wasn't amused the waiter was very quick to handle it. Worth the taxi/Uber from Fremont or the strip for an enjoyable dinner. I'd have given 5 stars but their website says they take reservations when they don't in fact take them right now.

Best meal we’ve had on our trip! Our waiter Carlos was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the mixed jalapeño/ cucumber margarita or the Paloma! We had the chicken enchiladas (green sauce) and chicken fajitas - both were incredible. This is our second trip to Las Vegas and when we inevitably come back we will defiantly be returning to this restaurant.

The food was delicious...an awesome local restaurant. 4 stars because our waitress got my order wrong and when we asked for Flour tortillas she kept bringing us Corn tortillas. The hostess was so upbeat and friendly it made me feel I was about to eat with family. The handmade tortillas are delicious.

Love the food here. A downtown staple. The service is so fast and the food is always hot. We take groups here a bunch too. Really easy to get 6 or 8 people at a table. Thumbs up!

The food is good, the atmosphere is also good. It's just that they charge for the service. I didn't really understand but I asked the waitress about the 18% that was on my bill and she told me it was because of the service. the bartender and the kitchen and the one with the tortillas. And that they are not supposed to be paid a salary? I always leave a good tip but this time I decided not to because I felt that they were already charging me. good overall. The service is good .

¡Deliciousio! ¡Muy bueno! Get b away from the resorts and go b try the cuisine here at Casa Don Juan...My father and mother in law are from Panama and this place made them feel at home... they were able to speak Spanish , order things that weren't in the menu but knew that they had due to their custom... the music was even authentic. They have a breakfast menu that is $9.99 but also some higher end plates that are WELL WORTH IT!

This place is great. Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is also really friendly. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Food is good and flavorful, menu has some Mexican classics. You also get chips, salsa and bean dip to start you off.

Absolutely yummy food and great service! Authentic food, and the horchata is the best I've had. I got enchiladas and a tamale and I loved the enchiladas with red sauce. The tamale lacked some flavor but was still okay overall. The fried ice cream was made with fruity pebbles instead of corn flakes.

Great find. Recommend this place to all. Price was moderate but the food was exceptional. The menudo was flavorful and delicious. The tortilla were made fresh and in house. I would return and invite all to try.
