SUPER delish brunch spot! Everything tastes like it’s from scratch and freshly made. We had the deviled eggs, tomato soup, and the truffle egg sandwich. All of it was outstanding and the service was great! The place also has a great vibe!

I could not finish my plate and regret going with a better appetite. If I was going back to hotel I would have taken it but Our 6 hr drive home I had to leave my leftovers. Definitely going back to try more dishes from their menu.

First time here. Beautiful 70° weather so we asked to sit outside they said no outdoor dining today. Nice atmosphere. Great food. Server Lauren was super nice. Ordered the Ruben and Lauren recommended I get the potato chips. Great recommendation. Both were delicious

This is an excellent brunch place. It is popular, so come a bit early for brunch (10-11ish was good for us). The food is absolutely stellar, with amazing taste, portion, presentation, and price. Unfortunately, they are not the most flexible with their menu. I ordered the pancakes with strawberries and tried to replace the sausage that comes with it with another non-meat protein like eggs, and they refused. The food was still good and they didn’t charge me for the fruit as I didn’t get meat, but the lack of flexibility was a little discouraging. Despite that, that was the only downside I can come up with. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere vibrant but not overly loud.

Very nice. Some unique dishes we had never seen. Everything was great. Fried deviled eggs were very good. I liked the shrimp and grits. It would have been better with small cut-up pieces of bacon instead of strips. The strips were hard to cut up and eat. My daughter got the biscuits with the berry compote. She thought they needed a bit more compote. The compote was very good. Great customer service. Make note that there is a different menu for the weekends. My uncle had looked at a menu online and he was very disappointed when what he wanted wasn't on the weekend menu.

Excellent choice for any meal. The food is like a work of art and very unique to how you would find it typically prepared. This is an absolute must try. Also the orange chairs are my favorite 🧡

Nice spot for locals having breakfast, brunch, and lunch! The atmosphere was chill. I felt pretty relaxed to enjoy my brunch here. The food was great. The owner uses locally sourced ingredients. The only thing that I was not thrilled with was the price of coffee ($4 per cup). If the coffee was espresso I might understand, but it was just brewed. In brief, this is a good restaurant to have a slow leisurely Sunday brunch.

Yummy! I have been coming here for years. I live in Canada. I always make sure I make it here before I go back home. The food is amazing. Tomatoe soup and grilled cheese is bomb! We had a special and it was an egg benny with chicken. We also got a pancake and this was the best sharing meal I have ever had.

An AMAZING find! Yummy Food. Fast service! We were staying in downtown for a little staycation and walked from Bent Inn to this amazing, delicious establishment. The food is so good it barely survived long enough for the pictures 🤣 The menu had variety, even vegetarian. The service is fast, but friendly and welcoming, the coffee is strong and the pork gravy is yummy ! Highly recommended. so you’ll need to get down here in the morning. They turn the tables quickly but there’s no rush to get out the door and they always seem to have room for another couple of people to stop by and eat. . I felt like I was sitting down at a friend’s house. The cinnamon biscuits and fruit is incredibly delicious. Flavorful, a little tart, and a little sweet, but not too much with cut fresh fruit on top. It would definitely be a breakfast on its own or good to share. The corn beef hash was generous, perfectly cooked and “Really Great “ from my husband, who is a connoisseur of such dishes. I had the pork chops with eggs. Although thin, the pork chops were tender and juicy. I’ve never been a fan of homestyle potatoes. Many times the large chunks are undercooked or burned into a crisp. But here they were perfect. The pork gravy deserves its own mention! Their toast is like Texas toast, grilled and dunked into the gravy is a little bit of heaven in a bowl . Would definitely drive to come and visit for breakfast again .

I ordered the biscuits & gravy but the gravy wasn't the normal style of country sausage gravy in appearance or taste. The bacon was great, the eggs were great, and I had a side of grits that was pretty standard. Overall, I enjoyed the place but I'd probably order something else if I go back like the truffle egg sandwich.

Today started with breakfast at EAT in downtown Vegas. Small local joint serving breakfast and lunch. I had the special, Chicken Benedict with citrus hollandaise sauce and my friend had the biscuits and gravy. The Benedict came with spinach, fresh tomatoes and perfectly poached eggs, not to mention chive potatoes.... Sooooo good. The Benedict is only available on weekends. The biscuits and gravy was delicious as well, but my friend had to switch her meal to pancakes as some herb in the gravy did not agree with her. I tasted it and loved it and would order it. The pancakes were fluffy on the inside with nice crispy edges and she tells me the in-house prepared maple syrup butter mix was amazing! (sorry no Pic of the pancakes) Definitely worth a visit.

We visited this black owned establishment on Friday, September 9, 2022. We didn’t make reservations prior to and I don’t believe you can do so. We decided to come to this restaurant on a Friday morning. It’s not open earlier in the week. The restaurant does have cooling misters right outside of it to keep patrons cool. Vegas has sweltering heat this time of year. Upon arrival we entered the restaurant and it was modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. We did see the owner chef Nina Young sitting right outside the restaurant when we arrived. She seemed to be quite casual and down to earth. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and able to be seated immediately upon arrival. We got a nice table right by the kitchen. We were given paper menus which were on a clipboard. Customers can flips from one page to another to view all the menu items. From the menu options, it does appear they have some new creative dishes on the menu. This includes prime rib hash among other Southwestern cuisine inspired dishes. Our waitress came right over shortly after we were seated and was helpful in assisting us with menu options selections. We did see the owner also come in and grab some sandwiches. I believe these were for a catering event. She did have a restaurant called Old Soul, but I don’t think that it’s open to the general public anymore. We ordered the following menu items: Pomegranate iced tea unsweetened, Short stack golden brown pancakes, Strawberries and blueberries, Thin cut pan fried pork chops, Deviled eggs, and Truffled egg sandwich. The drinks came out first. The Pomegranate tea is only sold as unsweetened, so I was able to sweeten it with sugar. The tea had a refreshing authentic pomegranate taste and I greatly enjoyed it. It also comes with free refills as well. The food came out about 20 minutes after our drinks. We received our pancakes first. The pancakes had lightly crisp edges and were pretty delicious. They also add butter in the batter, so we didn’t have to add any butter to these pancakes. They paired so perfectly with the syrup provided. The porkchops were seasoned extremely well and had a light crispness to them. They were savory and so perfectly cooked. The pork gravy that came with them was also quite delicious on top. It tasted like a creamy based gravy. My boyfriend greatly enjoyed the Truffled egg sandwich. He stated the mushrooms were cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The bacon on the sandwich was also nice and crispy. The potatoes were perfectly crisp and seasoned well also. The pork chop plate did come with potatoes and eggs. The eggs were scrambled well as I requested and perfectly cooked. As my boyfriend stated, the potatoes were quite crisp. They didn’t contain any of the mixed vegetables that can make potatoes soggy. The Deviled eggs were fried and very tasty. This is the first time I’ve had fried Deviled eggs and they were quite delicious. Their Deviled eggs come with jalapeño salsa, which gives it a bit of a spicy kick. The portion sizes at this restaurant are pretty amazing. You will definitely get full off of your food. My meal even came with fluffy toast, but I wasn’t even able to eat it. I was so full off of my main courses. This restaurant has very efficient service and the staff is very professional. I was able to use the restroom without incident while here, which was clean. All of the food was delicious and we greatly enjoyed ourselves. I really wish that Old South was still open so we could’ve patronize that business as well. I think Eat. as a restaurant is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. It is one of its best kept secret. I would love to return to this establishment when I come back to Vegas to try some of the other dishes. This restaurant has a steady flow of patrons that come in and out. I see why their business is good. They also have a lot of people that come in to order to go orders and pick them up at the bar counter area. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone in Las Vegas that wants to try some great food with a wonderful atmosphere.

I don't give a lot of five stars, because excellence is so hard to attain. But eat combined really unique, flavorful food with an awesome atmosphere and great service. Chef was friendly and inviting. She's built a nice little restaurant just outside of downtown that lets you get away for a moment and feel at home.

Was in town on a business trip and had a great breakfast in this restaurant. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they even came with bacon. The eggs were perfectly cooked. Loved the atmosphere and the 90s tunes that were playing that morning. I'll be back

7-2-21 Arrived approximately around 8:30. This dig is absolutely delicious! The simplest of menu items tasted EXTRAORDINARY!!! HOW????!! I guess it's all love and good vibes, period! The biscuit and gravy meal was AWESOME! IF YOU LIKE TEA, try the Pomegranate tea with lemon and 2 packs of honey--perfect blend. Great music selection here, too!

I’m kicking myself for not trying Eat during my past trips. I’ve always seen good reviews and even ate at Chow several times before it closed. We met Chef Natalie when we walked up. We ate inside. The restaurant had a good vibe. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits with added cheese. I also ordered the cinnamon biscuits with fruit to try out. Coffee was fresh as was the orange juice. The biscuits and gravy really good. The gravy was excellent, fluffy biscuits, and bacon with it. It all tasted really good. The plating was really nice too. The shrimp and grits were off the hook. Creamy grits with cheese and shrimp. The salsa topping combined well with the egg and bacon. Absolutely delicious! The cinnamon biscuits were incredible. I was expecting something sweet and gooey. These were almost French toast like with a little Sugar and lots of cinnamon. The berries and fruit paired very well with the dish. I will be coming back the next time I visit. I had the opportunity to chat with Chef Natalie after our meal. I thanked her for the delicious meal. Go check it out and go Eat!

Me and my husband found this place by chance we were actually having breakfast at the hotel at the golden nugget which was terrible.. A lady behind us told us that if we want to get some great breakfast go to EAT. so we decided to go there the next day we got a chance to meet the owner and Chef Natalie she was amazing. Definitely felt like we were at home. The breakfast was great, and a couple in the restaurant even paid for our dinner, because we were newly married🙏🏾She recommend us a nice upscale restaurant to have our last night of our honeymoon in Vegas, which was at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, which was another great experience we definitely will be returning to eat at EAT next time we touch down in Las Vegas.🥰

I brought my wife, kids, and Mom here for Mother's Day brunch and it was excellent! Not only was the food delicious, but they had several really interesting dishes that you wouldn't find at most brunch places. The cinnamon biscuits were great for sharing, my wife loved her scrambled egg and truffle sandwich, my kids said the grilled cheese and tomato soup was their new favorite, and my Mom and I were blown away by the huevos motulenos. In addition to all this delicious food, the entire restaurant staff was so friendly and attentive. We were very pleased with the service and our food came out quickly. We highly recommend Eat, and will definitely be back.

Loved our brunch here with a medium sized group on a Friday morning. Everyone loved their food and the servers were awesome. I had the breakfast burrito which was awesome and iced coffee equally good. Highly recommend for a solid spot with great prices away from tourist traps. Their living pothos wall was a bonus!!

I had the two eggs any style with sourdough toast, smoked bacon and chive potatoes. I also had the cinnamon biscuits with warm berry compote, and an orange juice. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the waiter was friendly. I will definitely be returning.

Stayed in Downtown and wanted to get some breakfast that wasn’t in one of the casinos. Eat was only a short stroll from my hotel, and it was a nice morning, so I decided to give it a shot. Very glad I did! The food was fantastic! I had the Truffled Egg Sandwich, which was phenomenal and very filling. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the chive potatoes were amazing. Excellent coffee as well. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back when next I am in town!

Food was spectacular. My wife had the BLT with avocado. It was huge and she almost finished it because it was so good. I had the bagel sandwich with egg, bacon, and cheddar. Was really good but needed some hot sauce. Had a pancake as a side and I'm not joking, it might be one of the best pancakes I've ever had. Get the orange juice. It's not like your typical breakfast places where you get a shot of orange juice. They give you a full pint glass

The food was very well done with good flavours. The style of the seating area was nice and made for a lively environment. All the severs were very kind and welcoming. It made the experience that much better. I'll be back on my next trip to Vegas.

We just enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the eat. The service is outstanding and the food like your grandma would have done it. Full of love and fresh ingredients. We enjoyed every bite of it and will for sure come back. This is a must see for anyone coming to Vegas and wanting a cozy breakfast in a more personal spot than all the casinos offer.

Listen the fried deviled eggs was the main show that we ordered more they were so good. My other did was good as well but them eggs were just amazing. The service was very good didn’t have to wait as our waiter made sure we were good. 10 out of 10!

This was the rating on the day we ate at Eat. We enjoyed the break from the routine casino buffets and strip eating in general. Small well maintained eating area with good atmosphere. Food was good and plentiful for our family. Pancakes were large and fluffy. Biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon wasn’t large but was just enough for me. The cost was moderate, under $100 for four with tip. Add it up at $15 a plate and drinks, you get there fast when there is not thanks Terri if you. Daughter said they had clean restrooms too!

The food was AMAZING! I had the roasted chicken sandwich and it tasted very fresh and good. My girlfriend got the killer grilled cheese sandwich and that was the most flavorful grilled cheese I’ve ever had! The plating was picture perfect.

Visiting from out of town and my friend took me here for lunch. She’s a regular and enjoyed the prime rib hash. I had the BLT. It was spectacular. I would definitely come here again. I wanted to try the pancakes but I was on a different time zone so lunch it was.

  • 1/5 Artem B. 1 year ago on Google
You can see on the photo, they are busy. My friend had a broken leg, he was wearing a cast. They made us wait 10 minutes and then still wouldn’t sit us, because I wasn’t there. I was outside parking the truck. Nevertheless, I asked the host why can’t we be seated, he was very rude and sad you should sit there in the waiting room. Not that often I leave 1 star reviews, but this “gentleman” made me do it.

What a great break from the Vegas lights and a glimpse into culinary yumminess! You have to love a place that was randomly playing Purple Rain when I walked in! I had the Two Eggs with bacon and potatoes and coffee and toast and it was $17. Some of the best bacon I’ve ever had—and I’m from the South!!! The rye toast, equally amazing! Highly recommend jumping one block off of Fremont and having a GREAT breakfast. Then you can head back to the craziness that is the city that never sleeps.

  • 5/5 T P (. 2 years ago on Google
Great breakfast spot. Had shrimp and grits. They were awesome. Came back the next day for prime rib hash, also excellent. Even the standard breakfast is a cut above. OJ and coffee are very good. Cool setting. Indoor and outdoor seating. Easy walk from Fremont Street. Afterwards get a donut from the Donut Bar. The service was also really good. Very welcoming.

Cute little restaurant. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were big!! The breakfast potatoes best potatoes ever. The breakfast sandwich was a bit greasy but very good the tomatoe soup on point. Service was great and the place was clean. There was a bit of a wait on a Saturday morning for brunch but they do have misters outside and an employee came out and asked if anyone needed water so they take care of they customers. Will be back for more and you should certainly try them out

Someone reviewed this place as “Must go Now!”. So I went and it was worth it. One of the best freshly squeezed OJ I’ve tasted. The chicken sausage is so flavorful and delicious. The bacon was crispy. Must order the pancakes! The egg sandwich was really good as well. The restaurant is a $$ price wise and plan to wait thirty mins before you will be seated.

Public parking right out front. Seated quickly, just make sure all of your party is present or they won’t seat you if there is open seating. Great, friendly service. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. 👍🏻👍🏻 Especially loved the apple smoked bacon. My husband ordered the prime rib hash. The prime beef was tough, he gave it 2 ⭐️⭐️’s. The cinnamon biscuit with fruit compte looked great, but we had to hit the road. We’d go there again, but not order the hash.
