The food was good. I made a reservation, I was asked if we were celebrating something and I said that in fact we were celebrating my birthday and that I was looking forward to this dinner. We got there, we had to wait for a bit before getting our table. Once we got the table, we waited about 20 min for appetizers, the drinks arrived very late, with dinner. Dinner took a while as well. We were not offered more drinks or anything else for about 40 min, only when we had finished eating. The celebration was never brought up, nor the dietary restrictions that I also mentioned during the reservation.

Fantastic food! Terrific service! David was the best waiter. He came back to check on us and ensure we had drinks and everything at appropriate times. The drinks were strong. The food came in nice sized portions and very tasty. This place has a great vibe. We made a reservation and we were seated right away. It’s in a convenient location. I’d definitely recommend trying this place out!

We went (once again) for Sunday brunch - and probably it‘s one of the best you can get in Vegas. The dishes are fantastic, the quality is superb and you can really eat as much as you want. Two things which could be improved: Before corona it was a classic buffet, you can go and pick whatever you want. Now you have to order by the menu: Big issue here: The dishes are often simply too large. E.g. if you order one of the delicious Pizzas, you‘re almost full already. And unfortunately they won‘t make smaller portions for you. This creates unnecessary food waste. And with this comes my second point: They won‘t allow you to get boxes to take left-overs of the brunch. I get the point of „not ordering everything and like this have dinner as well“ - still I think it‘s unnecessary food waste.

The hosts were not very friendly, it seemed like they were doing us a favor by allowing us in. Then we got to the table and our server was great. He was punctual and friendly and knew the menu perfect. However he got busy and they changed us to another person. From there we didn’t get checked on, we ordered a second round of drinks and it didn’t arrive until after we were finished. We didn’t want them since we were done (took 30 min to get the drinks). Then another long period before they came back. The pizza was good and carbonara was exactly what I was hoping for. Cooked perfect. I want to do the seafood pasta next time. The reason we came was the giant chocolate cake, we didn’t have time to order or eat it so it looks like we will need to wait until NYC.

Great experience! Great food! Great environment to just sit back eat, relax, talk, just overall wonderful! Staff was so accommodating, happy to be working, they were laughing, clean, professional, knowledgeable, and all of the above! Food was soo amazing!! No complaints at all! Will definitely go back! Restaurant wasn’t stuffed to capacity, room to social distance if that’s a concern for you! Overall 10 stars!

Food was overly seasoned & salty. Our server never really came over to check on our party table of 11 and very seldom did they come over to refill our cups when we were out of water. Also, took ages just to get our check when we asked for it. Wasn’t sure who the two men were in their suits just standing around talking to eachother and looking around but if they were mangers/ supervisors… wouldn’t it be smart to have them help run tables if they noticed that they’re short of staff or at least walk around and greet guests and ask how or if they might need anything? Honestly, I personally wouldn’t come back in the future. Lack of customer service and lack of response would not recommend.

Went there for dinner tonight and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was even better. We had the Salami and cheese plate, mushroom gnocchi, and chicken parmesan. All were outstanding. We will definitely eat there the next time we come to Vegas.

I hadn't been in for a while. Love the new changes! The decor, DJ and (VIP) private dining area 👍🏾👍🏾I was running late and my friend whom I was meeting there arrived early. She checked us in with the hostess Michelle. Michelle told her she could sit at the bar and wait. I arrived shortly after the bartender was very friendly and nice to both of us. While having our drinks Michelle came over a few minutes later to let us know that the manager (Breanna) would be seating us. Breanna the manager was extremely nice and helpful! She gave us the best seats in the restaurant!(VIP) Then she introduced us to our waitress JJ and Breanna checked on us throughout the night. JJ our server was good. But, I was really impressed with how everybody in there work together as a team! One of the highlights is the chef came out and took pictures with us! The food was absolutely delicious! Even though the menu has changed a little bit. The quality and taste is still there! The service was 5⭐️ And food was 5⭐️ ! Can't wait to come back !

A gorgeous dining experience with electric music. Counting on all the good reviews, I opted this one for my wife’s first birthday together. If you like Italian cuisine this is definitely one of the restaurants you should considering for dining. The service was amazing, staff were kind and friendly, the dishes were on point. Only downside to this restaurant were ver low lighting on the tables closest to the kitchen and there were lot of flies which was unexpected from a restaurant of this class. So we had to move to a different table which was allotted for us pretty quickly though.

Good brunch place on the strip. Menu is buffet style without having to get up to go to the buffet line. Which is good, but service was slow between items. Food was good, but pretty basic. Fun atmosphere and vibe... good place to go with a group.

Been here a few times during our Las Vegas trips. Since the group I normally go with is fine with any food is the only reason we go here, because for me as a vegetarian with a specific dietary requirement I can't have much apart from a pizza or/and maybe fries which is also average considering the price. Atmosphere is good. Service is okay. It is located within The Venetian. There is inside and outside sitting options. Outside sitting has a view of the strip.

  • 2/5 Jaclyn K. 1 year ago on Google
Start off with the positive... The food was good! The presentation was good. An the outside views was beautiful The service was ok.. It was not that busy and didn't see the waitress much. BUT BUT but it would help been great FOR them to say that you CANNOT SPLIT a bill when you have a table of different payees, and when asked to pay cash, they almost did not know how to react. They stated that their system cannot handle it? Kind of seems odd. When going to pay with their portable system, it was not working. Definitely an update or upgrade their system to accommodate the billing issues. I am typing this as we are paying.... Well as we are paying the system turns off and only charges one person. So we spend over 30 minutes figuring out what is going on with the billing system. To find out out that their system was down and the manager gratefully spilt it the bill the original way we wanted by each payees meal. Should not of taken 30 minutes. It's a try once and done kind of place

We had reservations on a Wednesday night and it was PACKED. Like can’t scoot your chair back without hitting someone packed. Our server was very friendly and did what she could, but the dining experience took FOREVER. We ordered immediately and it took 1.5 hours for our food to even arrive. I swear we were at Lavo so long that I went from buzzed to drunk to hungover. That being said; the food was amazing. It is a bummer that the experience was so drawn out as it really took away from the dinner. (Which seems to be a common theme in the reviews) if the kitchen could manage their time better it would have been 5 stars. My bubbles and berries drink was great (as always), the garlic bread was AMAZING. The trio of sauces both eaten alone and mixed together are MAYBE worth suffering through the wait again in the future. The entrees were delicious and HUGE. Easily shareable! We had soooo many leftovers that went to waste. Come hungry, order the garlic bread, and expect a long night!

DELICIOUS Italian food! The giant meatball was very yummy but the PASTA was great in my opinion!!! The house red wine was wonderful and the pasta was fresh, al dente to my liking, and the sauce was extremely flavourful and meaty.

LAVO Party Brunch: Probably won't go back. Would rather rest during the day and get a table at a night club during the winter months. Tip 1: If you have a table, the host will hand you an envelope and quickly ask you to initial a specific box they mark with an X and sign at the bottom. They choose the box that says you're leaving a 20% tip. You can leave a different amount by choosing the adjacent box, they never tell you this. Tip 2: They have to-go boxes if you don't want to or can't finish your food. If your table is outside (i.e. terrace), you're out of the party; regardless of what others say. You still have access to the inside area and speakers play whatever the DJ is playing inside, but the atmosphere difference is literally night and day. The inside is a party just like any big day club in Vegas, the outside is just a regular brunch with a view of the strip. Chicken in the chicken & waffles is dry, pizzas are small for the price even for Vegas, the giant pancake is actually a fruit salad on a thin pancake soaked in alcohol (peaches, strawberries, blue berries, raspberries, banana). The mixed drinks are pretty good.

Great spot to take friends for a fun dinner, great Italian food. Our service could have been better as we had reservations and we still had to wait more than 15 minutes, our drinks also took 30 minutes even though I just had wine. Food is pretty good, definitely would recommend splitting the meatball appetizer! We had the branzino and they had gluten free pasta options which were also delicious! This place was very busy and loud, also they played club music so would not recommend for a quiet date night.

JJ was amazing. She was very kind to my pregnant wife and gave us such wonderful service. The main reason why I am writing this Yelp now. Her customer derive was so good that something not so nice happened regarding her manager earlier but she was able make things better. I won't go into details about the bad because I feel it does not deserve to be on this Yelp with her good. She was very attentive, and positive. The food was delicious and the price was fair. Thanks for the wonderful experience Miss JJ.

The food here is top notch and the service is fantastic. Our server, Adam, was really knowledgeable, welcoming, and excited about the food. We got the lobster bisque, minestrone soup, lamb rack, and a house special veal cheek ravioli. Everything was cooked to perfection! It's clear that the management deeply cares about customer satisfaction. We will definitely be back!

Food was medium, service was great, and patio was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place for patio and cocktails alone. It was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. As current Vegas style, very Covid conscious. They also have heat lamps. The bread and tomato sauce was good, but the salad we had was very bitter, and calamari cold and underwhelming. The chicken parmigiana was okay - not the best I’ve had, nor the worst.

We had an amazing meal, huge variety of gf options. The chicken dish was phenomenal, amazing sauce. Drink menu did not disappoint. Pasta options were great too! That meatball is a must. Armando took great care of us . Some of the best service we've had post pandemic.

Customer service feels more like harassment. We made reservations for my birthday for a table of 10. It was made very clear of the table minimum which was agreed and understood. We came to the establishment and the hostess then again explained as a courtesy. We sit at the table and literally 4 different serves are again trying to arrange payment before we could even order drinks. It was very uncomfortable as a party of color and we observe every other table enjoying themselves and we felt singled out and embarrassed. I have never been to a restaurant where I am expected to pay before we order WHICH would be fine but it felt like the staff were making up policies as they went. I had to bring race into it but we forsure felt singled out. We spoke to a manager and he was offended that we felt offended. Crazy huh???

Ate dinner here and it was absolutely out of this world. I came in with the intention of ordering steak, but instead ended up with a variety of their delicious food. Their Caesar salad was nothing short of spectacular. A Caesar salad, right? Their croutons were home made, and made to perfection. Lights scripted with a touch of sea salt—just incredible. Their pizza was insane. The crust was perfect, soft with a light crisp. The toppings picked from premium meats and vegetable and cooked to perfect. Fantastic coffee, and their 20 layer (yes, I said 20 layer) peanut butter cake was like nothing I’ve ever tasted. Simply put, just perfect. The service was second to none. The waiters were always there just when you needed them, and they knew and understood the menu inside out. They were polite, welcoming and friendly. Plenty of seating indoors with a cool ambiance, and awesome terrace overlooking the trip which was very cool. Fabulous experience and highly recommend. Terrific spot.

Food was bland, missing something as simple as salt. Prices were not worth the taste of the food. 2 stars for the ambiance. Best part was the red pasta sauce served with the bread that came with our $19 ceasar salad. Dont waste your time with this place

We got there before it got incredibly busy so our service was fast. I recommend going there before 6pm. We ordered the Vietti Moscato and the Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio to start off. We proceeded to order the Garlic Bread as an appetizer. I highly recommend finishing this foot-long delight while still warm! It was absolutely delicious and was accompanied by three dipping sauces: marinara, basil, and Gorgonzola fondue). We finished the whole thing before our entrees even got to the table! My husband ordered The Meatball, a pound meatball with a mixture of ground wagyu, Italian sausage, and veal, served with fresh whipped ricotta and parmigiano. He said it was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend giving one of their most famous dishes a try! I ordered Truffe Ricotta Cavatelli which was also delightful, although if a long pasta was used, for example tagliatelle, the dish would come together even better. The dimmed lights made it for a very romantic dinner, although the two-person tables were so close together (about a foot and a half apart) that we could hear every conversation the couples on both sides of our table were having and viceversa. This made it a little awkward. Other than that, the food and service were great!

Thank you so much for the little cake at the end to celebrate ,thankfully there was no room left after the super meal xx thanks

LAVO is a fine brunch spot. Their value on the strip is good for a 2 hour bottomless brunch. We had everything we wanted for a slightly pricey point, but well worth it. Notably good were the chick parmesan and chicken and waffles. We also enjoyed the mimosas, admittedly a huge part of the meal.

  • 3/5 Ap Q. 3 years ago on Google
I don’t understand why the night we went there were about 18 male serves and buzzers, not ONE female. There were two female hostess. That culture just grossed me out. Our server and the service was great. They were super organized and the food came so quick we may be only waited 10 minutes it was excellent because we were very hungry. I got the truffle gnocchi and my partner got the eggplant spaghetti. I was not overly impressed with the gnocchi but I think other people would enjoy it just wasn’t my taste. We came for my birthday and they did give a dessert on the house which was very nice. The fried Oreos are basically fried dough and pretty good as was the gelato. My partner really enjoyed their meal. Their marinara sauce felt rather basic and a bit on the tart side.

Great pasta!! The $20 garlic bread is meh, good if you have a big group but if not I wouldn’t recommend. The spaghetti & meatballs are surprisingly good. I had a great strawberry cocktail here as well ($25) . A little loud with club music and lots of big groups but the food is 10/10. Came here on a Saturday night without reservations and only had to wait 30 minutes. Can’t wait to come back.

A great spot for a bachelorette brunch. We ordered the bottomless mimosas which were delicious. Food was good. The only thing that we found wasn’t great, was on our second order of oysters they were definitely not fresh

The food was good, just didn't feel like the price matched what you got. We waited forever for our desert and you can see by the picture the ice cream was melted, so pretty sure it sat dying in the window before we got it. Service was much better towards the end, in the beginning, the bartender seemed annoyed.

Pretty good spot for Italian food in Vegas. We tried a number of dishes and they were all delicious. Highly of the night was the 20 layer cake which can probably be shared between 3-4 people. They have a decent wine selection. Service could have been slightly better.

Amazing Italian! We decided to come here last minute and we were so glad we did. The cocktails were very good, Our appetizer of the garlic bread was to die for but the star of the meal for me was the Carbonara. My goodness.... and to finish it off an espresso martini so we can keep the night going. Thanks for an amazing date night on our last night in Vegas

  • 3/5 Brad K. 1 year ago on Google
Disappointing experience for all the hype. It was average Italian food served by unmotivated wait staff in a beautifully designed restaurant. The wine list was decent but the cocktails were found to be underwhelming by most in our party. The garlic bread was quite good but the calamari and eggplant starters were duds. The entrees were fine but weren't memorable. The atmosphere was dynamite--it really is a fun place for a corporate dinner. The waitstaff were fine. Not rude but not particularly friendly. There were no recommendations made or requests for extra rounds of drinks. We probably would have stayed for one more round of cocktails it the server suggested it.

My recent dining experience at LAVO Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas was truly a feast for the senses. Nestled in the heart of the city, LAVO's upscale ambiance and exceptional service created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the stage for a remarkable meal. The carefully crafted menu features an array of mouthwatering dishes, but there were a few standout items that left a lasting impression. The legendary meatballs at LAVO are a must-try for any visitor. Each meatball is a harmonious blend of veal, beef, and pork, seasoned to perfection and cooked until tender and juicy. The rich marinara sauce, made with ripe tomatoes, garlic, and basil, complements the meatballs beautifully, resulting in a truly unforgettable flavor profile. Another highlight of the evening was the calamari, which was expertly prepared with a light, crispy batter that perfectly showcased the tender squid. The dish was accompanied by a zesty marinara dipping sauce, creating a delightful contrast between the delicate calamari and the bold sauce. The New York steak was cooked to perfection, with a beautifully charred exterior and a tender, juicy interior that melted in my mouth. The steak was seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices that enhanced the natural flavors of the meat without overpowering it. The side of Brussels sprouts was a delightful surprise, as they were roasted to bring out their natural sweetness.

The hostesses attitude was absolutely horrendous. However, David, our server made up for that on spades.... Octopus - 10/10, the Octopus was tender but charred if that makes sense. The beans and pickled white onions paired really well. Tuna tartare- 10/10. You have to try to mess up tuna. The flavors were really good together

Did the New Year’s Day brunch buffet and have no idea how they’re making food that high of quality, with that great of service, and that price. One of the best meals I’ve had in recent history. Fast service. The the brunch pizza was super good 10/10. Also really like the chicken and waffles and the refular waffles that came with all the fruit toppings. The pasta was a little too hard for my liking but the sauce on the Penne Alla Vodka was really good. I also had the Fettuccine alfredo pasta and it definitely needed more flavor it was quite bland. The breakfast sausages were very salty. My freinds ordered oysters and they said it was extremely good. The omelet was a solid 8/10. Overall I would give this restaurant a 8.5/10 👌🏽.

Group business dinner, not very crowded but service was a bit slow. The servers were very friendly, but felt like they were strapped for resources. Food was good, somethings better then others. The garlic bread, calamari, truffle fries, and salads were all great starters. The table had a variety of main dishes from the Carbonara, Veal, & Sea Bass people enjoyed. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was not my favorite. With all the selections in the area not sure I would return, but never know just could have been a bad night.

The food here was the highlight of my entire trip. I've never had Italian food this astounding before and I'm quite the connoisseur of Italian cuisine. The calamari was so tender, I never knew it could taste like that. They give you a large portion too so I did take my pasta to go. They also have complementary very good focaccia with marinara sauce. I had the waitress explain Wagyu beef to convince my aunt to get that pasta and it was to die for. She also took some home and we ate it cold the next day in the hotel, it was still amazing. I had the carbonara, and they make it the traditional way (egg not cream), and it was so luscious and creamy. Cappuccino was a perfect way to end off the meal. 12/10

Went to the Lavo brunch for the first time since covid, it was still a great atmosphere! Obviously not as many people and toned down but that party vibe was still there and the DJ was on point! Servers/ table waitresses were a lil unenthusiastic, but it was a dope time overall!

Food was very good, atmosphere was good but the service was a little lacking. The food came and we had to wait for the silverware. I thought I was going to have to start eating spaghetti with my fingers.

Not sure what's better here?? The staff, the food, the cocktails or the atmosphere. We visit Vegas a couple times a year and Lavo is a regular for us. Tonight was amazing as always. Thanks to Tim for taking great care of us. Lavo, we'll see you again soon. I highly recommended this restaurant.

What an experience! Loved it! From all my Las Vegas trip, I believe, this restaurant was the best one. As you already know, I always look for the fish or vegetarian options, due to some dietary restrictions - and this place was a big big fortune for me! They had Salmon, Sea Bass, and Bronzino! And we tried all of them! And all of them were superb! The service was outstanding thanks to our host Anastasia. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about menu items. The only thing that was a bit off - Tuna tartar. I was happy we ordered salad with a ginger dressing. And that salad complemented Tuna tartar. I was missing some flavors in it, but salad fixed it. Portions are good! Not tiny, but actually good! I was completely full with my Sea Bass, and was not able to finish beats salad. :) Don't forget to make a reservation! It is a very popular spot! As I saw - they can accommodate large groups of people. Also I learned this place turns into nighlubs on Saturday :)))
