Staff was absolutely amazing. Chilli dogs were tasteless, no seasoning in the chilli. I’m from ATLANTA we like seasoned food. $5 a hot dog not worth it. Skimpy with the cheese too. I ate it because I was hungry.

Delicious simple hot dogs with chili and onions. They were cooked perfectly and have a little snap when you bite into them. Cheap, tasty and open 24 hours.

Prices went up. Line was long. They charge .90 cents for extra onions. Extra for cheese too. Chili dog is average. Place is open 24/7 so there's that. Gyro is decent size and tastes good. Didn't bother with fries or drinks. Way better than waiting 1hr to sit at Denny's.

We came to see Fremont area in late night and were very hungry, so we wanted to have some food. This place has a great location: it is right at the beginning of the Fremont area. So much light and action around, the place was not easy to notice, it has a rather small and modest entrance. Inside it is a typical hot-dog place: a large counter at the entrance and around 5 tables further -a pretty compact place, nicely styled with American flag colors, photos and historic pictures. The tables were clean. The place is connected with a huge casino; the closest restroom is also in the casino if you want to wash your hands. There were customers inside but no crowd which was surprising as outside on the street the flow of people was endless. We ordered a hotdog, chilly cheese potatoes and giros. The latter we selected because of good recommendations on google ;) which was actually a mistake - it was the worst out of the three. We paid around 23 usd. The seller asked for a document before she accepted our bank card, which was a surprise but I guess it is a good practice to be cautious in such crowded areas. The food arrived fast. The hotdog was fine, chilly potatoes were amazing and giros as said was so-so mostly because of very dry meat. The food came in plastic containers, which I didn’t like as I hate leaving garbage after food, especially that much garbage :( Overall it was a nice experience, the service was fine, the prices very acceptable, we were totally satisfied.

I love to get my fix here. I perfer Lafayette coney island, but when I'm 1800 miles away, American coney island is the way to go.

Don't usually opt for hot dogs, but it started to monsoon while walking Fremont, this was close, and chili dog sounded good. Totally worth it. Bun warm and soft, hot dog tastes great and has the pop as you bite it, and chili is flavorful. Employees were suuuper nice. All around good stuff on Fremont. Didn't realize how much I'd like it until it was in my face hole.

Brunch Dogs Coney style all day. 10:30 am or 10:30 pm, any time is a good time to snack down one of these delicious wieners. 🀀🌭

This is such a great place to eat downtown. Every item I have tried has been delicious, and the prices are fairly low as well. The seating area is a bit small / can get crowded when it's busy. But it's totally worth it even when it's packed. The coney island dogs are the best, and I want one every time I happen to be near Fremont. The staff has also been very friendly and accommodating every time I have stopped by. All in all a gem (not sure if it would count as hidden) :)

Great food at reasonable price. I had the gyro, & wife had hot dog. Both were great. Not a large seating area, but they have everything cooking & ready, so very short wait time, fast moving line.

Fantastic coney dogs, with mustard it’s delicious. Crispy fried all fresh, service is quick and friendly. I recommend!

I thought the hotdogs would taste better... it was not good. It tasted bland... like the chili cheese fries. No flavor. I gave them 3 stars bc I got to charge my phone. N sit! But the hotdogs was done wrong like the order b4 mine... and I think ppl being drunk makes it easier. I appreciated the nostalgia of it all but I wouldnt eat there again.

Great little place to get a hotdog, chili dog, cheese fries, etc… and a soda. My hotdog was very good and the prices are very reasonable.

This place was such a disappointment. The hot dog tasted like a $0.99 hotdog. 7-11 hotdogs are better than this place. I gave it 2 stars because the gyro was tasty but small.

I haven't found a better Chili dog in Las Vegas. I love this place and their Hot dogs. Chili is absolutely excellent!!! I normally order a Chili Cheese onion dog, but today I went with Chili dog with onion, yep, I skipped the cheese. If someone knows of another Hot dog joint here in Las Vegas, please post it. I am always on the lookout for a great Chili dog.

TL:DR - This is why the electoral college exists. Anyone who likes this has to be a criminal. Looks, tastes, and smells like the sludge the toxic avenger comes from. It is serviceable in a dystopian setting but from a former military perspective it shouldn't be used against enemy combatants.

Fremont find on the old strip. Good customer service. Flavorful chili for chili cheese fries, and the loose burger, and chili. Check it out!

This was not my first time here. My wife is from Detroit so she was excited by staying at the D since she loves Detroit coneys. The quality of the hot dogs were excellent. Good snap on the skin. The chili was close to flavorless as it could be. The onions also. They tasted like frozen onions. Service was excellent. The nice short lady was very friendly. French fries were very good. Service and French fries gave this overall a 3 star, but fix the chili and the onion problem. My wife felt cheated and I was underwhelmed by the lack of flavor.

Very nice staff! The hotdog?? Just ok. Very expensive for just a dog like I could make at home, even in Vegas.

Went here for my birthday and loved it! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, we all got into a big discussion about our birthdays and had some laughs. The hot dogs and fries were definitely all American. The place was clean and though it appears small on the outside, there is enough space for everyone inside. I am so happy we got to try this place to add to our Fremont Experience. I hope to return soon!

OK but not great. I would have rated it higher if it were priced appropriately for what it is. It was just not a $5 hot dog. The Dogs at the South Point Hot Dog Cart are considerably better for around $1.50. They are better quality and taste better despite having less topping options.

Very Coney Island feel with super friendly staff. The dogs I got were like 2 pounds each. Comes with a fork which you will have to use. Stripped down easy food at a great price.

Normally they get 5 stars this was an off time, the bun on my chili dog seemed old

Good place after hours. Open 24/7. Located on Fremont. No parking, inside the D. Midwestern gal so I’m always looking for a taste of home. It’s ok. I usually get a gyro. I was highly disappointed when they did not shave my meat fresh. N the meat comes in bits n pieces vs like shaved strips. Maybe next time I’ll try the hot dogs cause the gyro not quite it.

I've been seeing this place for a while. Each Vegas trip I've wanted to try. Finally I did. Went with the family. It's 24 hours and hits the spot. Super busy all the time. Inside seating is very limited so consider taking to go. Otherwise, delicious. Hit the spot. Gave me an idea what to prepare for the 4th of July. Happy I stopped by. Friendly staff that enjoy talking when they can.

Just like the reviews say, the American Coney Island hot dog is a must try if you're in Vegas Downtown! It's very tasty, and spicy. I'll be visiting again to try their fries/gyro.

Way over priced. The food was not that good. Had to ask for each part of our order. They gave us one of our gyros, we had to ask for the second one, we had to ask for the hot dog we ordered, and we had to ask for the drink we ordered.

I am a huge fan of gyros, but feel I never find a place that exceeds in all aspects of it. From the way the lamb was cut and had nice crisp edges, to the freshness of the onions and the best tasting tzatziki sauce I’ve ever had. At a shop that’s best known for their coneys I found the BEST gyro I’ve ever had. Staff was kind and quick even in a huge rush of people. Had a short wait in a long line and food was ready within minutes. Will definitely be eating there again the next time I find myself in Vegas. Only regret was not ordering two πŸ˜†

4 am loose meat sandwich on Fremont St? Why the hell not? Uh, what's a loose meat sandwich? It was weird, but we needed some salty, strange, and kinda greasy (in a good way) nourishment so we could make our way back to our rooms and out of the cold rain and somehow get through the Crazy Train that Fremont St. is at 4 am. The guy at the counter was cool and surprisingly chatty, which was nice because I used to be cool and am still surprisingly chatty. Recommended if you find yourself on Fremont St. in the middle of the night.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in Fremont. Service was excellent and I received my order before closing my wallet from the payment. The hotdog was tasty and had a snap. The chili and cheese were fresh and flavorful. Would definitely come back.

Food was fast. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The tables were clean. The dogs had a nice snap to them, and the fries were crispy. I really appreciated that they know they're serving a messy product, so they don't skimp on the napkins.

It's tradition for myself and the group. Love the dogs, people are super friendly, priced right and fast service. Could use a cleaning more often as it tends to gets dirty quick but don't let that deter you...BOMB!!!

I've been to Fremont many times and somehow missed this little gem. The gyros ($7 I think) are fantastic, ate like 3 of them during our trip. Speedy service, even very late at night... well done and thanks guys!!

My wife and I had some gyros to start the night before having our main meal I had the regular gyro with cheese sauce it was surprisingly good I personally don't like the white sauce but my wife finally convinced me to try it and it is good but still not for me the customer service was amazing the cashier was funny and felt very inviting overall good gyro but I haven't had anything else that's my reason for the four star. They also do follow covid protocol wiping every table down when used and tables are spaced out nicely

Being a Detroit native transplanted to the west coast, I make a special trip here whenever in Las Vegas. It is true comfort food for me.

Over priced. Had to pay again to get a fountain drink refill. Love good hot dogs, but this place is above average at best.
