The food was mediocre, I wouldn't recommend getting the enchiladas (the pork ones were dry and the cheese ones were really dense). My friend said his burrito was good. Chips and salsa tasted great (chips are spicy just a warning). The only saving grace was that the waitstaff was phenomenal. Overall, great service, okay food.

We walked in for a dinner, found a table in less than 5 minutes. Nice ambience and excellent service. We ordered guy's guacamole, Achiote Chicken Burro, Fajita Combo. Taste and quality was nothing great, very mediocre. I would definitely think about visiting again and try out for other options in Vegas.

Sorry, Guy, but this place needs some improvement. The service was great and no waiting but..the chicken fajitas were not good. The upholstery was worn on all of the furniture and place just needs a lift. Trashcan nachos were great, but not enough to deserve a return trip.

Quick meal before going out on the town! Enjoyed a Belgian beer with trashcan carne Asada protein. The server was great, kicthen chefs were killing it with 4 guys serving well over 100 people (while I was there). Flavours were great, fresh pico, cojita cheese, picked onions (unreal).... Bake the nachos with queso gives an incredible result! So good what a show Always a stop in at the rio

I had an amazing dining experience at El Burro Borracho Restaurant inside Harrah's casino in Laughlin, Nevada. The restaurant was very clean, and the ambiance was so nice, which made for a relaxing meal. The food was great, with lots of flavorful options to choose from, the drinks were great too! The only downside was that our server took a little longer than expected, but she was still friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend trying this restaurant out if you're visiting Laughlin. It's definitely worth a visit for the delicious food and ambiance alone."

I would definitely pass on this. Were it not for his name on the restaurant It would not survive. At this price point I expect much better food. Nothing was bad but for this kind of money it should have been much better. Margaritas start at $20 each and are served in a very small margarita glass. Chips and salsa that most restaurants give away with a similar quality are $10. A couple of margaritas for two people plus chips and salsa and entrees You are going to be at at least $150 and the food is no better quality than a good local Mexican restaurant. I would never eat there again at that price I should be wow'd by the food.

Vegas has a slew of celebrity chef restaurants. Gordon Ramsay, Giada de Laurentiis, Martha Stewart, Nobu, Bobby Flay - the list goes on. Guy Fieri's restaurants are much more affordable than any of the rest of them, and he purposely appeals to the midwestern tastes of his core audience. So if you want to do a restaurant with a recognizable name, but not break the bank, Guy Fieri is the best choice. We just decided to go for that full Guy Fieri experience, and you know what? It was great! Trash Can nachos for appetizer, split the cheeseburger tacos with signature Donkey Sauce for the main course, churros for dessert. Big novelty alcoholic beverages to accommodate the whole meal. That's how you do a Guy Fieri restaurant. Everything was hot and tasty, the service was friendly and fun, and all in all we were out a little over a hundred bucks. 10/10 would wear shirt with flames on it again.

So here’s the deal. If I’m going to pay 21 dollars for a burrito, there had better be a person in back rolling out homemade tortillas. I took one bite and realized Guy Fieri uses store bought, prepackaged, stale, tortillas in his burritos. Ironically, the burritos here wouldn’t even make the cut onto Food Network. Please do me a favor, change the name of your restaurant to Lynn Wilson’s burrito borracho. At least people would know what to expect with the taste and quality of your food.

Although the staff was polite and service was quick, I was not impressed at all with the menu. Being from an area where it's commonplace to get unlimited chips and salsa gratis, paying $8 for them was a hard pill to swallow. I'm glad I didn't fork up any more for the guacamole because my husband got a dollop with his meal and it literally tasted like a processed mess. Like there was a chemical preservative that was overused, and, I don't know how you make avocado gritty, but they did. As others said, the chicken fajitas were not good at all. They did not taste "Mexican" to me at all. The only bright spot was the mojito, which was very tasty. Overall, the place needs some help on the food and a good refresh in the dining area.

This place is only getting 1 star because of our server. She was super nice and attentive but the food here sucked. Its a burrito place so we ordered burritos and they all were bland and just not really enjoyable. We ordered chips and guac, the chips were stale and the guacamole was just flavorless, watery, and tasted like some sort of avocado paste. The food wasn't really hot when we got it, and the street corn was okay and ended up being the best thing we ordered, but I wouldn’t really eat it again. For how bad the food was, it was not worth the money we spent here. It was very overpriced for not great food. I would have rather had taco bell and saved over $60.

I came in Saturday night. The food overall was good, but there needs to be a warning on the menu for allergies because there wasn’t any. I ordered the Chicken mole Verde and as soon as I took a bite I started to have an allergic reaction, my throat closing up and very itchy. My lips swelling and that was after one bite. I immediately had to get up and leave to take care of my allergic reaction, and when I came back my table let the manager know that whatever was in the food I had an allergic reaction to and it turned out that in the sauce on the food there was nuts, which I’m highly allergic to and there was no warning on the menu at all. That needs to be fixed before it happens to someone else and they die because of it. No other accommodations were made but my order being taken off the bill. Please try and do better.

I ordered the 2 meat fajita combo. The steak was so chewy I was unable to chew it. The chicken was doable. Normally fajitas come out on a sizzling plate...not this time. The brand and rice were nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the Cadillac Margarita. The flan was good. I liked the sauce and the half flan/ half chocolate cake combo. The waitress Lada was a hoot. She was genuinely nice and fun.

So overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. We’re used to Vegas prices too but this was ridiculous. Three tortillas for fajitas. It was $5.99 to add three more. There was no salsa with the fajitas so we had to pay for it because chips and salsa aren’t complimentary. $23 for a heavily iced sixteen ounce cocktail that was too sweet to even drink. The server was very lovely but if there is anywhere else in the Rio to eat, try there. We should’ve known it wouldn’t be good when the restaurant was empty during peak hours.

This restaurant was located inside the Rio All Suites Resort. The food was tasty and was served quickly. A little pricey, that is expected within a Casio.

The food was good, but the high prices dampened the overall experience.

  • 2/5 Mike B. 5 months ago on Google
Perhaps my expectations were set high because of Guy's name being attached to it it, but the food was not up to those expectations. The chicken was dry and flavorless, the balance of toppings could not make up for that. Let the record reflect that I have worked lines my entire adult life and I rarely give poor reviews.

Food good, left review but wouldn't allow me to post photos, so I'm not going to explain everything again, however, food this expensive (and I don't typically ever complain about pricing), but wow this to-go plate is shameful!!

My tacos were very bland, and disappointing. I was so excited to to try this restaurant, and definitely wouldn’t recommend. However my husbands burger with fries was delicious, strangely since we were eating at a Mexican restaurant. After requesting a carry out, it took 28 minutes to pay our bill, and it wasn’t busy

Food is good. Flavored. Steak Tender, shrimps large. HOWEVER, the service is horrible. Tables served before ours, larger party came after us, several, and look at this to-go plate!! CHEAP compared to their outrageous prices. And trust, I don't complain about prices! A $32 plate and $6 dollar side of salsa is not appropriate for your to-go plates. Food to go in a recycled cheap, breaking apart plate!! They want me to lose my food before getting home?? So weird and ridiculous. I expect more from this brand!

Our waitress Lada was such a sweet heart and very attentive. The kitchen manager helped served or food which added a more personal touch. Everyone around us was so cheerful. It was amazing.

We were all loving the dinner till my dad found a piece (wasn't tiny either) of plastic in his enchiladas! They did refund for that. They should have given us another discount because after that we all lost our appetite with more then 3 quarters of our food left... moral of the story, watch your food before putting in your mouth 🤷🏻‍♀️

After reading the reviews we were very hesitant about trying this place. I am happy to say we are glad we did! Food was good and the service (Peggy) was great. She went out of her way to make our dinner a nice experience.

Everything was great; the food was delicious, and the restaurant's atmosphere was excellent, with smiling and friendly staff. Tia Sioata was our server; she was incredibly friendly and accommodating with her meal suggestions; she took the time to tell us what her favorite meals were on the menu and suggested great meals. Overall it was an excellent experience, and we plan to return soon!

Truly disappointed in with the service and food. The fish tacos tasted like frozen fried fish that was overcooked. Hard and dry, unable to eat. The nachos were way too expensive and were less quality then what you would receive at a local sports bar. This restaurant is using Guy's name to charge a 4 star price for inedible food. We notified the waiter about the fish, not to have it taken off of the bill but just so he could let the kitchen know, and he was indifferent and went back to watching a game on the TV. It took forever to get our check after being disappointed and felt ripped off. The restaurant has a decent atmosphere but definitely not worth it. If the prices were halved, then I may think about going back but probably still would not.

Very expensive and of all the places we ate here at Rio, this is the one place I'd pass up. Those drunken beans?? Please, Guy....you need to uplift these. Look at the pic....hardly any Mexican cheese. They tasted like cardboard. Give me s some onions, a pita point. We got them to share and didn't finish them. Everything here has Cilantro...just a heads up.

Wish we had one in our city !  The chips and salsa had a hint of chilli pepper on it which I enjoyed.. We try a different entree and they are all incredible. I had the Green Chile Pork enchiladas, They were awesome, and the margaritas were really yummy. We ordered the Tres Leches cake for dessert and holy smoke - It is huge, rich, creamy, delicious, and topped with a delightful crunchy toasted coconut. Everything we ordered was great and did not take long to get our food after we ordered. We had the best time here, and we all left with full bellies. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Try it you will not be disappointed....

Nachos were disgusting. I can’t believe someone would think to eat these. Gross

  • 2/5 Grace H. 2 years ago on Google
We expected better. Especially from Guy. Actually surprised this restaurant is still in operation. Everything we ordered (at lunchtime) was mediocre. The service was great; very informative, efficient and well trained/experienced. Despite great service we don’t plan to return; there’s a lot of competition (great food) in Vegas!
