What a find. We were on our way to Denny's for breakfast and then we noticed Tacos Mexico right next door. I'm glad we made the switch. The food was great and the prices were good. I was very happy with my steak tacos and the refried beans were absolutely awesome. My wife had a ham scramble that was very good too. The tortillas seemed to be homemade. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'll be coming back here.

I was very hungry. The food is in the “meh” side. Flavorless tbh. I had to smother the nachos in green sauce just to give it a hint of flavor. The meat was dry and flavorless. The gordita was a complete disaster, I didn’t even finished it. The flan is a miniature and it’s like 5 dollars. The place is full with mean notices (they charge extra for refills, extra for sauces, no food refund, bathroom only for customers, etc). The place was empty and the only people you see visiting the place are homeless and loose women.

The food is all very bland, doesn't taste seasoned at all. When the beans have the most flavor, something is wrong. That rice is just colored rice, terrible texture to it too. The service was not pleasant. The atmosphere is very drab. Not worth the $20+, we definitely won't be returning.

First and foremost if you have a favorite taco place and you're hoping this will compare or measure up you can stop reading now. I won't waste your time. Go to Tacos El Gordo's. It's down Charleston only free miles away. Now if you have never eaten a taco then understand the meat I tried is no where close to Mexican. Please see back to beginning of this review where I mentioned an amazing place called Taco's El Gordo's. I got three tacos. I choose three tacos. I got two carne asada and al pastor. I mean I have words for this but I'm not sure where to start flavor wise. There was grease everywhere. Next the taste was reminiscent of sloppy joes meets spice. I mean it wasn't terribly bad flavor wise but it wasn't Al Pastor. The carne asada went much better. Think roast beef. Once again flavor not bad but not what carne asada taste texture etc. So I go back to the beginning if you've never had a taco please don't think this is what they taste like. I did ask for avocado and cheese and what was supposed to be like 6 bucks ended up almost 9. Now I will say they did give a decent amount of avocado on there. I'm really trying to find a reason to give them anything but 1 star. I mean despite the customer service and prompt customer service I'm not impressed. I mean I can't give a star for flavor because it was incorrect flavor. I honestly will not be going back. I also will not recommend this to anyone so I will have to stick with my one star.

I know these pics are a little blurry but, it's been a while since I've been to sin city😅 saw that this place didnt even have a 4 star rating and this makes me upset! These are THE BEST tacos on the strip!!!! Even better than tacos el gordo and I loooove tacos el gordo! This used to be my favorite place to eat from while I was living on the strip. Would eat my two pork tacos then go next door to dennys for 2 pancakes. Good memories💕

This was the first time I have eaten here since I moved here in 1999. Although this is a different location I quickly remembered why I haven’t. I ordered a chicken taco, 3 steak, and asada fries for my son. The BLANDEST, TASTELESS, UNFLAVORED Mexican food I have ever eaten in my life. A dis race to the name. And who in the world serves Carne Asada Fries on frozen crinkle cut fries?! -5 ⭐️’s is my actual rating.

Take your money elsewhere! This place has Cockroaches! The place seemed ok at first, the place a bit dirty & cold inside, the service was poor, meet was cold & the cherry on top... as we sat to eat we saw roaches running around. I yelled if that was a roach & I know the cashier at the register heard me as she decided to than walk to the back. My husband got up to ask and no one came to the front. This was a good restaurant a long time ago, we will not be back & be sure to tell whom we know goes here about our experience.

BUYER BEWARE! I ate here on July 10, 2023. My order of chicken rolled tacos totaled $15.15. A week later my payment charge was updated to $37.01. I contacted the manager to resolve it. He assured me he would look into it. I checked back a week later. Never received a response. This restaurant stole over $20 from me, and no one seems to care.

Listen, you don't come to this place because it serves the best food in Vegas. No, you come here because it's convenient, accessible, and the food is great for those late nights after partying all over Vegas. This is food that satisfies cravings - not your desire to eat the most authentic, elegant, or gourmet tacos, enchiladas, or burritos that can be found anywhere in Vegas. For all those visitors that leave one- or two-star reviews, they misunderstand the target audience of this restaurant. This restaurant is good and the food they serve is perfectly fine for what it's meant to achieve. Go here when you're tired and want something that is going to satisfy your hunger and make you feel comfortable, go here when you're craving nostalgic tacos or burritos that "hit the spot", go here when you want affordable food and something that you don't have to impress anyone. This place is for those moments when it's just you and you want to be happy.

Literally some of the best Mexican food you'll ever eat. I never miss this place on a trip to Vegas. This lil hidden gem's street tacos and burritos are simple and delicious - done just right. 🌮🌮I started eating here almost 20 years ago, traveled the world over, and it's still the BEST! Don't forget the pickled veggies and you'll be on your way to foodie heaven. 😇 👍if helpful, thanks! 🙏

I ordered a steak burrito, and the service was so fast that they gave me an old burrito cold with the shell crumbling apart. No refund. The cashier was rude. They didn't want to remake my food at all. Because I didn't speak Spanish. This place is racist. Please don't go here at all. Food is way overpriced anyway. Boycott this place, thank you. They lose me as a customer. If I could give them a lower star than one, I would. Yes, I had my receipt for my order, and still, the cashier wouldn't remake my burrito or give me a refund period.

Terrible terrible service I don’t understand at all guy laughed when I paused asking for a fountain drink soda got charged for a jarrito as it was late I didn’t bother to correct him actually asked for him to just give me a coke in a bottle. Instead I ordered enchiladas and waited a great deal for my order to not come out with its main side rice and beans. After me receiving my entree I asked about my sides he had fled to the back before and never came back making me wait even longer for my sides and when he finally came back he didn’t apologize or anything felt almost like the guy did not care and proceeded to go towards The back to check on that. But when my sister went to go get her sauces as well she has slipped up and made a mistake of dropping the Toms and as she proceeded to tell him that she had did so he then said “clean them yourself “ in Spanish the food was horrible at that the rice was half burned and the enchiladas cheese smelled off. My brother in law ordered Chimy changas and didn’t even take another bite then the one he took the chimney changa was just chicken with egg my brother in law Threw the food away it was that un appetizing. I would never recommend this spot horrible.

Food is okay here. Horchata is too sweet. Tacos are okay but tortillas have too much grease.

The tacos were good but definitely not the best in the city. The best one I had was chorizo , second favorite was the asada , pastor was not the best and chicken was plain . I did wish the red sauce was hotter but it was still good. Also had the asada fries which were not the best , if they added yellow/white mix cheese it would be better. This is the closest Mexican restaurant to the Strat so if you don't want to drive or walk 3+ miles this is a good place to go for some fast Mexican food. Don't expect it to blow your taste buds it's just average at best.

The staff here are incredibly friendly. They are polite and got us everything we needed. The servings were huge and we came back the next day to heat up our leftovers since the hotel didn’t have a microwave (it still tasted great) and the cashier didn’t bat an eye at the weird request.

After reading few reviews I choosed here instead of Dannys and Carl jr. The shop photos were not inviting also I ordered Brria a beef soup..it took them 15 minutes to server it but I came cool like a room themparature.. and 15 dolar. It's a ride off Server abously did not her jop at all. The serving forks and soops were so small to eat soup with. It was an unpleasant experienced. Will I ever come here again, Hell no!

Horrible customer service. I’m so done with this place. The lady never listens to you long enough to hear what you want. I ordered a breakfast burrito and asked for them to not put the rice in because I’m unable to eat it. She gave me a lot of push back and attitude for me asking them to not add it to the burrito. After we drove off I discovered I was given ALL rice, no eggs, no cheese, no beans, and a small spoon of chorizo. $12 for dried out rice in a tortilla that immediately went to the trash. Asked for salsa verde and the pickled carrots. She gave me one carrot slice, and one sliver of onion in a bag full of water and one small cup of salsa for both my husband and I to share between our two plates. Went in and asked for more salsa she grabbed another and slammed it into my bag and walked off. I gave up. We usually come here once a month and buy tamales in bulk which is a couple hundred dollars. I’m done with this place. They can keep their attitudes and bad food. I’ll find tamales somewhere else that actually has decent customer service.

The food is delicious and authentic. Mexican food done the right way as it should be done. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of real Mexican food not text Mex or your bean and cheese burritos. ... this is real Mexican food.

Soooo good! Tacos are small and cheap but super worth it!! The burritos are huge and very filling. Best tacos I've ever eaten. Friendly staff and environment.

Good service and clean restaurant but way tooooo much lime juice all over my carne asada and was expecting more vegetables for it. This was our first time there and probably the last.

We were headed to IHOP around 1am when some guys recommended this place. Yummy authentic food… great steak tacos and tamales that hit the munchie spot. Their salsas are spicy-yummy but I don’t love the salsa bar that everyone can stick their hands into.

Busy on the weekend in the morning but worth the short wait. They have a great variety of Mexican dishes. My husband had menudo that was delicious, I had the chorizo n egg combo with rice and beans, very good! Great food, fast service and good prices.

my friends got carne asada and pollo tacos which they loved. i got carne asada fries and they definitely hit the spot. super easy to eat if you have a large appetite but also easy to share with friends! horchata was mid. tbh i think 7-11’s is better, but the food was great enough that that doesn’t matter.

I was really craving some birria tacos and Tacos Mexico by far has the best ones I've tried in the Vegas area. We will definitely be coming back again, 10/10 would recommend!

I love this place and eat here every time I’m in Vegas. They have good tacos and a variety of them. Get a Mexico coke and some steak tacos and you can’t go wrong.

Horrible food, huevos ranchers. Fried tostada with a fried egg no yoke and Pico de Gallo on top....I got the huevos where are the rancheros you know a wet dish...lleft the entire plate on the table. They are lucky I didnt throw it against the wall and make them clean it up after charging me money for that trash and I told the cashier and the chef both as I walked out. Look at their below 4 review these places serve trash as presentable food and people accepting this is what let's them get away with. 20 minutes here ordering now writing from car not a single other person has came here. Shame on me for trying them.

Ordered a few tacos and they don't even warm up the tortilla long enough for it to it to keep it shape when grabbing it. It falls apart with the meat and salsa in it. Usually when I'm intoxicated I'll basically like everything. Not this time. Was disappointed that they couldn't cook a tortilla right.

Order was large enough for my wife and I to share and both be full. Personally thought the guacamole had to many onions.. but still a great place for Carne Asada Nachos. Nachos are under $12

Delicious food! Would recommend! The restaurant is off the strip, we came here for lunch after enjoying the rides on top of stratosphere. We had veg sopes which were freshly made and very tasty. We also had veg burrito which was also good. The waitress was not aware about vegetarian options so service was not that great but the food turned out to be really good. They also had freshly squeezed orange and carrots juice which was amazing!

This was ridiculous. We ordered at 11 and it took them 20 minutes to give us our food and another 20 minutes to give us our drinks. We were in the drive through so by the time we got our drinks the food was very cold. And it wasn't even that good. They even gave us the wrong drinks. I do not recommend coming here. Service was bad.

  • 5/5 Al G. 2 years ago on Google
Better than expected. Delicious tacos de lengua. Delicious churros. Delicious horchata. Expensive at $3 a taco but great option for being in Vegas at the strip. 3 taco special at $11.88 is a good deal. Comes with beans and rice plus a drink. Even the rice and beans were good.

  • 4/5 Rigo G. 10 months ago on Google
Asada burritos are good but they just keep getting smaller and smaller. They also went from 8.99 to 11.99 overnight, $12 for a burrito?!? no mames, will not be returning. Service is also very inconsistent, different cashiers mean different experiences.
