Even though we arrived too early to take advantage of the steak and lobster deal, my bank account is still happy, my stomach is full, and I've got leftovers I'm looking forward to eating tomorrow or later tonight. This big meal for 3, plus drinks, cost me less than a hundred bucks, and it tasted as delicious as it looks. Well-worth the cost. The ribs are a must-have, and I urge you to try them. Although you can't make reservations in advance, the wait time isn't long.

The Steak/Lobster special starts 9pm to 11pm. Now that the most important question is answered, on to the review- Thirsting for that nostalgic rib restaurant that seems to be closed out everywhere in the US? Pining for the dim lit stylized 70s cigar lounge with epic ribs that all other brands compare themselves to? Well look no further than Tony Roma's tucked into the Fremont Casino. If only the parking were free. Father's day weekend had a fully packed restaurant early Saturday but the staff got us through the line quickly and the service was good despite the large crowd. The ribs tonight were great and the famous TR sauce is now served on the side so be sure to slather it on. The corn on the cob is way overcooked - 8 minute corn is ideal but they're serving 20 minute corn and no amount of butter and salt is going to save it so avoid the corn. Also the rumors are true about overcooking the steak so order it a level under what you want. Also they don't serve bread first anymore or the hand wipes after dinner. I miss the days before COVID.

Went for the $11.99 steak and lobster. That was the first mistake. Do not go. Rough experience. The steak was tougher than shoe leather and the lobster was a dishwater brown. It looked like it had just come from very very brackish seawater. I'll leave it at that.

I've visited two other Tony Roma's locations: Charlotte, NC and Orlando (PREPANDEMIC). This Tony Roma's is located inside of The Fremont Hotel casino. I was responsible for inviting my family since I spoke so highly of TR food. The salmon was not good. Its as if they ran out of salmon and subsituted it with great value salmon. Unfortunately I didn't care for my meal. Service was fast and our server was busy with several tables. They weren't accepting reservations. A line of customers were waiting to dine.

I went to the 4:30 to 6pm rib eye special for $8.99, it's worth every penny! This is a must if you go to Fremont Street. You get rib eye, baked potato, and steamed veggies, a perfect combo. With the food so low cost, the server got a good tip. They deserve it, the place is super busy, but extremely effective, had my food in 7 minutes. Be careful, the horseradish is hot.

The $11.99 steak & lobster was a great value. Truly explains the 40 minute wait. I enjoyed the grilled salmon with rice pilaf and wax green beans. Sean our server was extremely friendly.

Listen, imma keep it 100 with yall...for $11.99 you can't get a better meal unless you were in Thailand or the DR! The uber ride was $15 and cocktails everywhere are $14-18! I just paid $9 for a slice of cheese pizza and fountainblue...so this was a great deal Now, that steak they call a sirloin was like a bottom round! You better order it medium or medium rare so you can chew it, otherwise you might think you have a stick of bazooka gum in your mouth! I haven't used A1 in years but it was necessary tonight! The lobster was straight, made perfectly for a frozen tail but I'm not complaining for $11.99! And the potato was decent with butter salt and pepper! If I was a state prisoner and this was my last meal...I'd smile and tell them to flip the switch! I've been to Tony Romas in Texas, if they knew this meal was being served, they'd pull the franchise 🤣 I'd order a to go plate but I'd need the steak raw so I could make it right

$11.99 steak and lobster special is worth the wait. We came around 10:30 as most of the early 9 pm people were leaving after eating their special. It was busy and we didn't get service until we flagged the staff. This place is a quick turn restaurant, so expect to eat and move out for the next group. The steak and lobster was great quality at amazing prices for the special. I wished I had ordered two for myself lol. Service was friendly once you can get a hold of them. I highly recommend the cheap eats!

Great food and service. You have to check out the steak and lobster tail special. It's nice and comfortable inside. Everyone is so nice and friendly. You will have plenty of interaction with the staff throughout your meal.

I wouldn't visit again. Yes, the steak and lobster is 11.95, both of which were barely edible. Steak was beef jerky like. The lobster was dry and had to be peeled off the shell. The baked potato was way overcooked as well. The waiter was attentive. It was a bit loud. Do yourself a favor and skip this if you want a nice meal. It's not worth the wait time and the meal is well cheap but you get cheap.

We did not have a booking, but we were able to add our name on the waiting list that was 45min. A text message was sent when the table was available. We were taken to out table by the reception staff and we had Catarino as our waiter. He was lovely, offered me the special dish for the night and I got it. My son went for a NY steak. The food was good and the service really amazing. I would return there again.

We got the daily 4:30-6:30 prime rib special. It was always 8.99. Now it’s 10.99 but the cut seems bigger. It comes with vegetables and baked potato. I’d say it’s around 12oz. We went there at 4:00 and got in at 4:30. It’s Saturday but the line up was not as bad as the year before. The servers there are always nice. Note: Before I used to park my car at Binions Hotel and it was $10+. Now I found out we could park at Main Street Station and I got free parking with Tony Romas validation. All you have to do is to take your food receipt and parking stub to the security room 15 steps to the left of the registration counter and the valet/security staff will validate it by adding a bar code. I’ve attached picture of the Main Street Station Casino parking entrance.

The restaurant opens at 4:30 pm. Get there early because it's popular. We were there at 4:20 and still had to wait 20 minutes. I got the prime rib special two days in a row. It's a deal at $8.99 between 4:30 and 6:30. Service is extremely fast. Once the order was placed, the prime rib was in front of us in 3 minutes. Very tasty. Go there you will be happy.

Food was quick, plentiful, and tasty. Decent service but took a while to pay and leave since the bar was extra busy. Got the sirloin and ribs which was quite filling with french fries and garlic green beans. My medium rare steak attempted resurrection as soon as I poked it with my fork so it was on the rare side but not enough for me to hate it.

I was absolutely disappointed with Tony Roma's. For a place that is "known" for their ribs, it was definitely an experience I am not willing to repeat. The ribs were the skimpiest things I'd ever seen at a restaurant. The coleslaw was horrendously bland and not worth more than that taste bite. The steak was decent, being cooked properly to medium rare, but again, not something worth repeating. We went for my birthday while experiencing Fremont St and well, we know it isn't somewhere that bears repeating on our next trip down.

STEAK AND LOBSTER SPECIAL $11.99! That is all I have to say! My family and I ordered 6 of these specials tonight varying in cooked preferences for the steak and each one was to our liking! My Medium Rare steak was soft and buttery! Lobster tail properly cooked, nice size, and not rubbery! Yummy! There is a large bake potato and cooked vegetables that come with it. The portions are great! I was so full by the time I ate everything! The wait staff was attentive, up beat, and accurate with our order. Since there are no reservations you do need to sign up for a table at the podium almost an hour ahead to get a table. It was worth the wait! I would do it again! Loved it!!

How does this restaurant make money?! Came for the $9 prime rib special, thinking it was a joke, but folks, it's real! And it is pretty tender and flavorful. I was very surprised. I paid close to $400 for dinner at so-called fancy restaurants the nights before, but for the price, this place can't be beat! I thought the ice pitcher they gave us to keep wine chilled was funny, but they accommodated, and the service is friendly. Just honest, non pretentious, humble folks here. I would definitely come back.

Me and my friends enjoyed our visit for the $11.99 steak and lobster special. It's served from 9pm-11pm, every night. I recommend arriving early to sign in. Our wait, once signed in, was about 45 minutes. The time goes fast with either people -watching or playing the nearby slot machines. I was not aware that Tony Roma's is located inside the Fremont hotel in downtown Vegas. Valet parking is available and the walk from the valet area is not very far. The meal comes with a baked potato, veggies; and hot bread and butter (upon request). The steak was average, a nice portion but not seasoned very well. The lobster was perfect, tender and flavorful. The baked potato was good and the veggies reminded me of a can of veg-all. All in all it was a good meal and I look forward to returning again. There were 3 in our party and with appetizers the cost was @ $60.00. Not bad for a steak and lobster dinner for 3. Every member of the staff was courteous and professional.

Best surf and turf deal in Vegas, also got a show & dinner. Lady was choking, probably got something in her lungs and was drinking water but kepy throwing up. Husband almost got arrested trying to take her home instead of ambulance to hospital, friend finally convinced him to take a walk. Lobster a bit overdone, preferred the ribs to the steak. Potato and cream were nice. Vegas.

The prime rib is off the hook. I have seen this place a few time and decided to go for it. Amazing!! Great meal for the price. I will return every time I am in vegas. Then went back Sat. Night and had surf&turf special. Same reaction it is great. As a FYI. Be in line about 45 min.before specials start or it may take much longer to be seated on the weekend.

Great service. They have a steak and lobster special for 11.99 from 9pm to 11. We waited for 45 but you check in give them your# and they text you while your playing in the casino. 45 min was worth the wait for the deal. Seating is pretty close but we didn't car much. The service was quick and friendly considering how busy it was.

Came here before a show at The Smith Center. My friend & I both had the Prime Rib special ($8.99). Service was excellent despite the place being slammed. The veggies are not great but the baked potato & Prime Rib were really good. Well worth the price.

We went for the $11.99 steak & lobster special available from 9pm-11pm every night, but decided to go with pulled pork sandwich & grilled chicken sandwich. Also had mozzarella sticks. It was ok. The reason we chose not to have steak and lobster was because waitress said both steak was only about 3.5 ounces max and tail small, & I was hungry lol

Came in for the steak and lobster tail special 11.99 between 9 and 11pm. Food was delicious and prepared how I wanted. 15 minute wait on Sunday at 9pm. Service was great. Could of been a bit cleaner, but with the amount of turnaround understandable.

Can’t complain to much about the steak and lobster that was only $12! The steak does need salt or A1 sauce. We went twice and I used A1 sauce both times. Service was great! The special is not on their menu but they will ask you if that’s what you are there for which most people are.

Fantastic deal for steak and lobster at $11.99. Only complaint was the lobster tail had a consistency suggesting it may have been microwaved. Other than that, the steak, vegetables and potato were delicious and they make a good bloody mary.

We went hoping to try the prime rib special. Unfortunately they where packed! By time we got our table. (About 40 minute wait) They where out. We got the onion log appetizer which was amazing! Then i got the fried shrimp and my husband got the pulled pork sandwich and a lobster tail. All of which was great. Staff was awesome as well. Will have to go back sometime!

Heck, yeah, steak and lobster for 10 bucks. The wait time may take longer than an hour, but what do you expect. Pretty much food and drink was good. You can't beat that deal. Plus, Katey Perry is in town (Fremont). Why the heck not stay late and party hard.

Waiting time was 30 minutes. The person taking the reservation was obviously stressed. Our waiter was just awesome and took good care of us. We had NY-style Steak with a extra half ribs and macaroni & cheese, a French onion soup two hot teas and they gave us water with lemon too. Our bill was $58.52 and we gave a 20% tip. The place is dark and cramped which I don't prefer, thus the 3 stars. The French onion soup with cheese was super good. The beans were very well cooked and seasoned. The macaroni and cheese was okay - the macaroni felt overcooked. The baby back ribs were yummy and the medium well steak was just good.

Please don't have high hopes for the 11.99 sirloin steak and lobster meal. You get what you pay for. The lobster tail was very good, tho. Our food came out in 20 minutes, and we had a wait time of 35 minutes before being seated. Would I try this again...hmmm only if I'm on a budget & I'm super hungry with no other options.

Tony Roma’s is located inside the Fremont Hotel of the old section of Las Vegas. We went to the restaurant at 10:15pm for their lobster and steak special dinner for $11.99. Primary reason to choose the special dinner here was that the restaurant was at close proximity to our hotel for the night and we didn’t want to drive anywhere at those late hours. Special dinner was available between 9-11:00 pm. They put us on the wait list so we had to wandering around the casino and gambled a little. We won $10 on slot machine and we took our winning and stopped playing. After 20 minutes of waiting, we started to leave the casino to go somewhere else for dinner. Then the transponder notified us that our table was ready for us so we rushed back to the restaurant. Waiter took our orders for the special dinner. We looked around the restaurant and most guests there ordered the special dinner. Our food took a while to come out. We were disappointed how small the steak was and it was overcooked. The meat was chewy so probably was not of high quality. The lobster was good and decent size for the price. Baked potato was hot and delicious with butter. Steamed veggies were adequate to complete the meal. We would not recommend this restaurant for their special steak and lobster.

Did the lobster+steak deal (9p-11p) for under $13. Both items were cooked well, such a great deal u just can't beat. It also came with peas and carrots and whole potato with sourcream and butter. Would recommend and come again for sure!

Great place to get a reasonably priced meal and wonderful service from waitress Pamela. You may have to wait in line for the $12.00 steak & lobster and the prime rib special, however the earlier you get there the better. Both meals were very good & fast service. Definitely recommend & will be going back again when I am ever in Las Vegas.😊

$11.99 for steak and lobster is truly an unbeatable deal. We tried several steakhouses throughout the week and all left us disappointed in terms of food and service for the price. Tony’s had a delicious lobster, steak could have been a better cut, but hey, the service was excellent, and despite the fact that it was packed to the gills, the organization by the staff was evident. Will be back.

Good food for the prices. Had the prime rib special and the lobster tail special. Prime rib was flavorful and potatoes and veggies ok. Lobster was small. Half hour wait because it had just opened for dinner and probably because of the specials.

All in all, it was great for the price. We got the steak and lobster special for $11.99. I would advise people to make a reservation ahead of time because we had to wait about 40 minutes to get a table. The food was definitely for the price. I highly recommend this for people trying to stay within a budget while staying in Vegas.

Pretty good food and good service that beats many steakhouses that offer more expensive food. Crowded but be slightly early for their two special deals. Good queue system so you can chill around while in a virtual queue.

I was visiting downtown Vegas and found this little gem. I didnt have a wait for a table. My dinner entree was Prime Rib coupled with a Baked potato and mixed vegetables for 8.99. And I have no complaints about my meal. My prime was cooked to perfection. I truly recommend this location for your next trip Vegas!

Food is cheap, taste great, restaurant is a little crowded…food gets served quick, waiters are so rushed they don’t really have time to be the friendliest but for the price you pay who cares?! Overall highly recommend for a cheap Vegas dinner if you’re on Fremont between 9p-11p

  • 4/5 Theresa M. 8 months ago on Google
While the photo makes it look good - The food this time was not! I was so embarrassed! I bragged and bragged to my colleagues who had never been to Vegas or Tony Roma’s. The medium steak was dry and the lobsters were also. On a positive note: Your hostess is fabulous and based on that alone we will be back! Must have been an odd day!!
