The
Gondola
will
always
hold
a
special
place
in
my
heart.
Cousin,
his
fiance,
wife
and
I
all
rode
this
together
for
the
first
time.
My
cousin,
proposed
to
his
soon
to
be
bride,
during
the
middle
of
the
ride,
which
was
accompanied
by
tons
of
onlookers
and
clapping.
We
were
able
to
catch
the
entire
thing
on
video
and
it
was
a
great
and
special
moment
in
time.
With
all
of
that
being
said...
The
reality
of
this
ride
is
its
probably
far
to
over
priced
and
aside
from
the
experience
of
having
said
you
done
it,
jokes,
and
romantic
songs
of
the
gondolier,
which
all
seem
to
have
relatively
great
voices,
the
fact
is
its
a
fifteen
minute
ride
that
doesn't
offer
any
type
of
real
view
that
you
couldn't
already
get
from
simply
walking.
I
had
expected
a
more
in
depth
tour,
through
special
corridors
or
a
telling
of
the
history
of
Gondolas,
but,
the
ride
itself,
and
we
did
solely
the
indoor
one
(planned
for
both
but
didn't
think
the
first
was
worth
enough
to
justify
the
second),
is
simply
a
fifteen
minute
paddle
through
the
waterway
within
the
mall
in
which
you've
already
likely
walked
and
seen.
The
gondolier,
who
make
the
entire
ride
worth
while,
mention
too,
at
the
end
of
the
ride
that
they're
only
operating
by
tips,
pressuring
you
to
spend
more.
Look,
I
know
it's
Vegas,
and
everything
cost
money
but
it's
just
not
worth
the
price
beyond
a
one
time
experience.
Much
like
some
of
the
other
major
attractions
in
the
major
resorts,
this
is
another,
that
comes
with
a
ton
of
hype
but
doesn't
quite
deliver.
Enjoy
the
ride
once,
or
for
romantic
appeal
with
a
partner,
but
outside
of
that,
it's
unlikely
something
you'll
consider
having
been
worth
the
price
tag,
nor,
something
you'll
seek
out
twice.
