For the price I expected much more. And at the end they will try to sell you a $30 picture on top of the $30 ticket per person. It’s very small very few exhibit took us probably a total of 10 minutes. Ends in a gift shop like everything else so good luck with your kids when they walk-through and want everything and you have to tell them know. And tell them no on the picture as well because it was $100 for the family of three to spend 10 minutes at the aquarium. They had some cool exhibits just not worth the high price point.

My son and I went here in early May because he loves aquariums We had Go City Passes that included general admission for this attraction. Access to a day pass for Mandala Bay pool NO LONGER comes with this ticket purchase. We enjoyed everything from the sharks to the Komodo dragon. It takes between 1-2 hours looking at and reading about the exhibits. It does end into the gift shop and they did have some cute items on there with strip prices. A food court is nearby but I would highly recommend the border grill for lunch. I would recommend the aquarium but once you’ve seen it you probably won’t have to go back.

Pretty expensive attraction but it’s done well. If you’re taking your time it’s probably no more than an hour to get through this. It starts off slow but gets better as you progress through the attraction until you reach the last exhibit which is where you’ll spend the most time. Lots of sharks of different variety to see.

An amazing aquarium. Featuring an awesome range of land based, freshwater and saltwater species the aquarium is set in an ancient ruins theme with a tropical environment feel. Lots of interpretive signs to explain the facts and background on each of the exhibits. There are staff positioned throughout the aquarium to mind certain exhibits such as the piranha and such for obvious reasons. They are happy to answer any questions and help you understand the exhibit subject. It’s not a huge aquarium but you can easily spend an hour taking it all in. Definitely worth the entry fee. Do mind they don’t allow outside food or beverages so plan accordingly and eat at the outside food court beforehand or after the tour. Handicap accessible throughout. They offer Nevada and military/veteran discounts.

Beautiful, exciting, fun for everyone. Great value. I love that you can stay and enjoy the animals for as long as you like. I love that you can pet the stingrays. The horseshoe crabs were a pleasant surprise. One of the most beautiful aquariums I've been to. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Clean and beautiful attention to detail. I strongly recommend this must see. I will definitely visit again

This was an awesome experience for the whole family! From ages 38 down to 3. Everyone enjoyed it. Petting sting rays, watching sharks, standing on the glass floor watching the fish swim under you. It was awesome! We'd all definitely go again, and we live 23 hours away!

It's nice. But to be honest I've expected a bit more. We've seen many aquariums around the world and there are much better ones! Part of the aquarium was closed due to renovations, hopefully it will be better in the future! The staff is mostly friendly. At the ticket booth we showed our sightseeing pass, the lady there sent us away because their internet was down (for the last 3 weeks🙄). But luckily I was persistent and asked for a manager. She was really nice, we didn't have to discuss with her, she just asked her staff why she didn't give us a hand written ticket. So we were glad and could go in!

I liked the Aquarium. Several different varieties of fish and some reptiles. Really well done. Reminds me of the Aquarium in New Orleans. I enjoyed looking. Two thumbs up. When I return to Las Vegas I would come back to the Aquarium. Very enjoyable. Definitely not cheap.

I had a great time visiting the Shark Reef Aquarium with my family. I am giving it five stars because it is a great experience if you have children. As an adult, I was hoping they had a larger selection of sharks. But for a kid, the exhibit is a fun place for them to explore. The highlight is the shark aquarium that is set up to resemble a sunken ship. The tank is on all sides. So you can see them above and below. There are other exhibits as well such as piranha and other fish. So it is not just sharks. The $29 adult price seemed reasonable. And you will spend about 30 to 45 minutes.

Often when coming to Vegas, people don’t think of family friendly activities and this should be considered one of the top 5 on the Las Vegas strip. located at the back of the casino, not too far of a walk from the parking garage, you’ll find the shark reek aquarium. Make sure to take plenty of photos and enjoy your time in the open space observing the aquarium’s. It’s awesome to see them cleaning them so often!

This Aquarium was pretty cool. Take your time walking through and looking at everything. I got some great pictures and videos especially of the Jelly fish and Octopus. Touching the sting rays was fun. (Stingers removed) so it's safe. The fish Aquarium dome tunnel was beautiful you could walk through and see sharks and fish swimming all around you as if you were under water with them. At the end was the Big shark tank. The gift shop on the way out had very cute souvenirs to purchase afterwards for memories.

We decided to come here spur of the moment and it was a great choice. This aquarium is really neat and absolutely beautiful, it was like walking through the set of Legends of the Hidden Temple, but with animals. The first area you walk into is very tropical and humid, but the rest of the aquarium isn't. The room themed like the inside of a ship was incredible, and the arched tanks going over your head make for a good view of the underside of the sharks and fish. It gives amazing perspective to how large these creatures can be. Getting to touch stingrays was also an amazing experience, they feel like water soaked leather or rubber, a weird but cool feeling. My only complaints about the experience were parents that think because they have children, that they are entitled to do as they please with no regard for anyone else. EVERYONE wants to see, we paid for the experience too. Then there were adults holding up the whole flow of foot traffic and clogging small areas because they needed to get the perfect selfie. Some were kind and apologetic and others were flat out rude. Have consideration for the other people who paid to be there just like you. The woman working in the gift shop when we were there wasn't very nice either, which was shocking considering how nice employees in places all across Vegas had been up until that point. All in all it was a great experience, my favorite creatures were the octopus & the tank of jellyfish. Absolutely gorgeous creatures.

Pretty good aquarium. There was a pretty wide variety of animals for the size it was. Took us about 45 minutes to walk through and look at everything. They have the option to pet small sting rays about halfway through, which I didn't expect but was a welcome surprise. The sharks were very nice to see. They had some smaller ones closer to the start of the aquarium and larger sharks in the main shark area. The animals seemed to be decently cared for from an untrained view. The stingrays were given reasonable breaks between petting sessions, and from what it seemed like, each petting session was no more than 5-10 minutes max. None of the animals seemed distressed, and we got to watch some of the fish playing with each other, so my hope is that everything is well cared for. The price was alright. It was $29 per person for adults. They do seem to offer discounts for military members and NV residents. I think for a one-time experience it was worth the cost.

Great great time with kids and adults!!! We had so much fun playing here today. My 5 year old daughter loved this exhibit!! The number and variety of sharks was great!! The touch stingray exhibit was really cool. We would return and that exhibit alone gets 5 stars!!! My 4 star rating is due to the rude employee Lorina at the gift shop. True to form upon entering she never said hello can I help you, never made eye contact or anything an employee would do to greet a customer. She did however follow us around the store, pretend we were invisible while helping a fairer skin customer behind us when try to check out and pay for merchandise and look us up and down with disgust when we asked for help trying to locate merchandise displayed on the floor. This employee needs to be retrained in customer service because she wears her racism on her sleeve.

The Shark Reef Aquarium is a must for all that wonder in the marvels on the ocean. We enjoyed the walk around the different tanks and also were able to touch some of the rays in the open tank. What I found most enjoyable was the viewing area was made out as if it was a sunken ship with holes covered with glass so you can see the sharks(hammerheads and various other types), turtles and fish. The tank with the Jellyfish was so cool. Definitely worth the visit, we would have gone back if we had the time.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and also knowledgeable when asked questions! The fish, reptiles, sharks were great to look at! We were surprised they 3 very large sea turtles in the shark tank-so that was awesome! For as short as it was- it was one of the better aquariums we’ve been to. A very nice break from the hustle and bustle of Vegas/strip- get to go at your pace. Very fair ticket price- especially don’t forget to go to the VR experience once outside the aquarium and get to “dive with sharks”!! Also the gift shop had really cool items as well!!! We definitely took home a memento to keep forever!

I recently visited the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, and I must say, it's a great place for kids. If you have little ones with you, they'll be fascinated by the various aquatic creatures on display. However, I personally was a bit underwhelmed because I expected more exhibits than what was presented. The entire visit took us about 30 minutes to complete, and while the sharks were undoubtedly the highlight, we were hoping for a bit more variety. They do have other interesting species on display, such as jellyfish, alligators, piranhas, swordfish, and more. One unique feature is the ability to pet the stingrays, which was a fun experience. The admission cost of $29 per adult seemed reasonable for the experience, but I couldn't help but feel that there should have been more exhibits to make it a truly immersive and captivating experience. Despite this, if you're visiting with children, it's still a worthwhile stop, as they'll likely be captivated by the marine life on display.

This aquarium would be perfect for families with kids. However, as adults this felt very underwhelming. It took half an hour to go through the entire place. For the price we paid we have been to many other aquariums that are significantly larger with more to see. With that being said we did still enjoy ourselves but I think this aquarium might be best geared towards children.

Gilcrease nature sanctuary is a quaint place to visit. Although I have visited there before we were there for a different reason. My daughter had to do community service for her scholarship she's working towards. Bonnie the owner, was generous enough to allow teenagers to do so. The staff was very nice, patient, and helpful (especially Jazmine). And because of this, we will forever be a patron.

I had such a great time here today. I donated and gave the animals a bunch of lovin'. The grounds are kept up so nice. This is a must stop for tourists coming in to town. And for locals like myself. I met Steve and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. He talked about their Toucan bird and her history. I came here with friends and we all had a wonderful day. I can't wait to come back again and enjoy the day here. Big animal lover! Thank you so much for all you do to keep this place going and housing these special animals. Michael

If you are looking for something simple to do take a walk through shark reef. Small groups sent in, with some social distancing happening. You can see everything up close. The jellyfish were so mesmerizing. One of the female employees there was very knowledgeable about everything. See if you can find the octopus!! I would have never known he was there had she not pointed him out lol.

I enjoyed this exhibit. There wasn't anything outstanding about it over other Aquariums I've been to in the past, but definitely a nice break from the busy Vegas Strip. They have a nice food court there to enjoy before or after walking through. Also, if you choose to do the virtual experience it was cool, not too long maybe about 6-10 min of a VR movie. I won't spoil it too much but I'll say if you've used an oculus or something similar you may not be astounded by the experience, because it's pretty much the same thing. Overall I enjoyed it.

Awesome sea life especially the jellyfish and sea turtle. It was pretty humid not gonna lie. Came here just to visit there aquarium which was pretty awesome experience for kids. Jellyfish where beautiful and got to see a sea turtle as well. Also plenty of different species of sharks, my favorite had to be the hammerhead and black tail shark. Not sure if it's just me but after staring threw different types of glass I started to get a little dizzy and nauseated. Luckily the had plenty of spots to sit down and relax. One of those spots you had the opportunity to pet different types of ray fish. I almost forgot to mention at the end you had an option to experience virtual reality for a minutes. Real cool feature made you feel like you scuba diving with sharks. Overall a fun day that kids also enjoyed.

Overall not bad, but probably one of the smallest aquariums I've been to. Maybe that's not surprising since it's inside a hotel though. However, since it's Vegas they also charge quite a lot for such a short experience. I took my time, and still managed to finish in under 30 minutes. Length of the experience aside, the place was well maintained & had quite a good variety of sea life. There are a couple distinct zones with their own themes, and a handful of non-aquatic exhibits as well. I think it was worth doing once, but I probably wouldn't spend the money again - unless they had some sort of special exhibit going on.

Great spot to bring your children! For Vegas residents especially with the locals discount that they offer. Place was clean, it wasn't busy, and all of the employees were very friendly. Five stars!

Such a great place for any person that wants to see some underwater fish. Firstly, very clean and welcoming staff, the price is not outrageous like most of the places on the strip, a huge aquarium including a few smaller ones. I will for sure go there again, was there with the family and they had a ball!

I’ve always wanted to come here and visit. The minute I walked in I felt as if I were in another world. Staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. They provided sanitizer and masks right at the front door. I’m a huge animal person and being able to feel like I was there made the experience greater. I didn’t feel rushed, I was able to take my time and enjoy the aquarium. I also was able to enjoy the Undersea Explorer VR Experience. I believe the price of the tickets and all that I was able to see and do was well worth it. I definitely recommend this experience.

We really enjoyed seeing the shark reef aquarium at Mandalay Bay. It felt like you were in a jungle with ruins all around you. The sharks and other fish were really amazing, and we loved being surrounded by water in the tubes. I did think that the place is quite small and takes two little time to go through for what you pay. Otherwise this is a great place to visit.

Beautiful facility with a nice variety of displays and exhibits. All of the displays, even the tanks holding the fish have an ancient Egyptian theme. There is a "touch pool" that contains Horseshoe Crabs, Stingrays and a small shark where you can touch them. The highlight is definitely the walkway that enclosed by a tank 9n the sides and top, or you may think it is the large shark tank at the end. Takes about 30 min. to walk through entire thing

A beautiful aquatic display. Featuring everything from sea turtles, to various types of sharks. Including non-aquatic species as well! But I won't spoil it all for you! If you love fish you will love this aquarium for the $30.00 price tag per person. While the exhibit didn't take too long to walk thru the experience was well worth the money. If you have young ones they offered touch tanks featuring stingrays! There is usually a line, but they move through it quickly (as long as the credit card machines work) There are larger displays but considering this is on the strip, it's really impressive for the every day budget. They do offer a senior discount, as well as other various common discounts.

I took my girlfriend to the shark reef and we had an amazing time. We went on the shark feeding tour with our guide, Mike. He fought us so much information, we got to touch real jaws of sharks, and everyone in the group got to feed the sharks a fair amount of times. The aquarium part of it was so cool! We got to pet sting rays and look at so many different species from the amazon to the ocean. Very family friendly place and I would definitely recommend for locals or tourists.

While the variety of animals was less than other aquariums i've been to, the aquarium focuses much more on the "wow!" Factor of these beautiful animals. Their exhibits feel very exaggerated and lead you into the feeling and fantasy of these animal's habitats. Very fun overall! They did include educational posters, signs, and kiosks throughout the aquarium as well.

Shoutout to Supervisor Angela G for getting me into Shark Reef Aquarium to do my little blog, vlog, plog, and log thing where I take a bunch of photographs and videos of places I visit and I eventually write or share about it. Thank you for the amazing time, as I was welcomed by staff every moment I crossed paths with one of them at an exhibit. I enjoyed every moment of looking at the various animals they had in captivity, as well as reading the different info plaques next to each exhibit. Favorite part: The Shipwreck Exhibit.

Fun place to visit if you have a family and your on the south end of the Strip at Mandalay Bay resort. The large aquarium in the end is my favorite with the larger predators with multiple sharks lurking in the 1.3 million gallon tank that is designed to be like you are in a ship wreck. There is a petting station for stingrays, but with Covid-19 restrictions i place that has been suspended for the time being. There is a rare golden crocodile, jellyfish, octopus, and more as you travel through rainforest and Caribbean exhibits to get out of the sunny days in town

Enjoyed our visit! Staff was friendly and there's was quite a bit to see. The decor made you feel like your were in another world. They had quite a few different species.

Definitely a must for anyone interested in aquatic life or is just interested in experiencing something unique and different. The VR experience at the end was a great bonus. Highly recommended. So far it's been my favorite experience in Las Vegas thus far. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I liked it. It's kinda hard to find and there's no close parking. The workers were very accommodating. It isn't very big but I would recommend it to any tourist or visitor to Vegas.

Awesome aquarium & experience, took my son for his first time & he loved it! Locals get a discount, but prices are still decent either way I recommend if you haven't been yet!

  • 3/5 Alivia R. 3 years ago on Google
Went to their aquarium and as I was walking by their jellyfish tank I noticed that 2 of the Jellys were not moving, flat and unnatural. You shouldn't leave dead fish in the tanks like that. It appears highly irresponsible and upsetting. Yes these types only live a short while, even in captivity, but I did not come to an aquarium to see dead fish. The rest of the aquarium was nice and clean and the lower capacity was nice and i could enjoy the fish and reptiles without feeling rushed. The sharks were amazing.

The best way to put this this out there is that my wife didn't care or want to go to no stinking aquarium. The funny part is we walk in and in no time she was taking pictures and video. She loved it. Me, I always have loved the aquariums and owned reef tanks and freshwater tanks all my life. The place is not huge but it's worth seeing!

We really enjoyed our visit. The fish are VERY healthy, the tanks are beautifully kept and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Do be prepared to walk a bit though and there isn't much seating. It would have been wonderful to be able to sit and watch the fish for a bit. Staff was great, and very knowledgeable. The gift shop was nice, and the ability to purchase photos of your group at the end was a fun added bonus.

I have always loved this place...and it is still wonderful, however with Covid-19 it is way too crowded. They make you buy tickets for a certain time frame, but I don't know for what...because they have it jammed pack at all times. Plus they made me pay extra for a "combo" ticket...but I didn't see anything different. What 3D experience did I pay for???

Just a gem in Mandalay Bay. Perfect spot to bring the kids. At this time, you have to reserve a timeslot when you buy tickets, so get them early as slots fill up fast. It's a self-guided tour through the various areas of the aquarium. There are knowledgable guides at various points that answer questions and of course, the gift shop at the end. I highly recommemd

Young to elderly will enjoy the critters,,,,exotic birds, swans, baby chicks running free chasing their momma's, a huge desert tortoise & much more.. ...Ask staff where to find Charlie, a white cockatoo. Near his habitat, it's hard to know which one is Charlie. Just call out, "Hello, Charlie" (Wait a few seconds) .."Hello, Charlie".. He will be watching you and say, "Hello, Charlie".. ....If you bring some carrots, ask which animals you can feed 🤩 Oh, there's a free petting area with goats. .... Kids LOVE this place. Bring a picnic lunch, plenty of water, sun screen, hat. .....HOLIDAYS: Usually free admission for family activities.. .....Take lots of photos..Enjoy

If you love aquariums this will be a cool place to visit! As it's not huge it has beautiful tanks and lots of sea life! They also had a touch tank (we didn't get a chance to do it due to covid during our visit) but a sweet addition still! Look for discounts they offer!

  • 5/5 Rebecca G. 3 years ago on Google
What a great experience. The young woman at the piranha tank was happy to talk to my over excited 5 year old at length about megalodon sharks. The marine life was so impressive! We weren't even that disappointed that we couldn't touch the stingrays due to covid. Finishing with the virtual ride was perfect. Amazing experience for such a value!

This is a pretty cool aquarium experience on the strip in Las Vegas. With cover restrictions in place you'll need to make your reservations online. The animals were interesting and the layout of the aquariums allowed us to see the animals from different perspectives. Depending on where you were in the aquarium you could look down on the fish or you could be looking up to the fish from below. The gift shop at the end of the tour had a great selection of marine animal toys and gifts.

  • 2/5 Christian W. 3 years ago on Google
Probably the SADDEST aquarium I have ever paid for. If you're an aquarium enthusiast, this is not the place. The animals don't look like they are in good care, which is unfortunate. You can do the entire aquarium in 30 minutes. But, if you have kids and they really want to see it, then it may be worth it for the short entertainment. I would still recommend going somewhere else for fun than this disappointment.

This Aquarium is over priced for the value. It is very short and does not have a lot of exhibits. If you have been to Disney world, sea world or the Georgia aquarium. Save your money you will not be impressed. If you never been to a aquarium then you will prob like it. But for how small it is for the price you could do other things like the titanic that’s more worth the money. We were all disappointed.

There are some pirahanas, some rays, some sharks, and various fish. They also have a komodo dragon and some other reptiles. They are visible, and there are some signs. It is like they cut 20% out of a zoo/aquarium and dropped it into a casino. If you want that, you'll get it.

Shark reef is very cool and worth the price in my opinion but I hated seeing how small of space the animals had. It was awful how tiny their enclosures were I’ve never seen any zoo type exhibit with that small of enclosures. The only ones who have actually enough space are the big sharks in the biggest aquarium. The other thing that was annoying was I had my mask covering my nose and they told me I needed to pull it up higher and bend the wire. Also the hotel is barren like I don’t even know how they stay open.

It was better than I was expecting for a casino aquarium, but you better give ready to wait in line. We got there when it opened and there was already a long. One thing was the touch tank was open for viewing only, but there was no signs and just an elderly employee off to the side with an intercom saying not to touch the fish in the touch tank.... And keep in mind there is a bunch of excited kids running around and everyone talking so it was hard to hear and understand him. They had no problem putting up plexiglass for the poker tables, how hard would it have been to put some around and make it more clear to the customers.

First, this needs a 10 star review. This place was awesome and that is putting it mildly. The shark tanks were mesmerizing. The interactive sting ray pool was such a wonderful experience. Defiantly a favorite destination for us.

Nice and Relaxing! The person sharing facts about the piranhas was very knowledgeable. Fish had a lot of space, and the area was well designed and quite scenic. The starfish holding hands were cute, too.

Great place to visit to get away from casinos. Family friendly. Lots of walking. Peaceful. Would go again on our next trip to Vegas

Everything was great except parking. You have to guess where to go and it's not near the entrance. The aquarium itself was great.

Great shark aquarium! The sea turtles were also amazing. Well done and worth visiting.

Had a blast visiting over Halloween weekend. I thought it was super awesome that they even decorated it for the holiday! Definitely recommend!

The aquarium is small, but kids love it. They have a lot of photo opportunities and the fish here look amazing. The tanks are enormous and immerse you into each environment. At one point, you are surrounded by fish. They also have a mantaray exhibit where you are able to see them up close and touch them.

Piranhas, kodomo dragon, lion fish, and a bunch of sharks you'll fell like you're scuba diving in the best spot ever and it's themed like a sunken ship which most divers don't have the opportunity to do

Nice place to visit, I was expecting more.. To leave and say wow! It's a must visit place I can't say. Clean, small aquarium.

Family friendly & great aquarium! Alot of different varieties of fish. A little smaller than we thought it would be for the price. But the kids enjoyed the experience.

I had a nice time walking through the exhibits at Shark Reef Aquarium. I purchased tickets online and was able to just walk right in with no wait. For the $20 ticket price I would say it was worth it, they had a good variety of things to see and some well done exhibits. This would be a great place to bring kids.

This aquarium was awesome!!! All staff are nice. My 2 year old gsun loved it!! He even got to pet a stingray. And the gift shop is affordable. Thanks for a great time. 🤗😊

It’s a cute aquarium that has a good assortment of exhibits. It’s not very large so you don’t need to budget a lot of time and there is a locals discount which was nice to take advantage of. They try and do timed entrances to prevent overcrowding. The one thing I would recommend is to have some staff on the floor to help monitor guests. There was a lot of banging on tanks and kids running wild which made it hard to get through since it was crowded. I’m hoping that’s only because it was close to the holidays (I went on 12/20). Otherwise it was a fun visit!

Great place to visit and get educated. Very clean entrance, there is parking in convention garage and you can pay inside after your visit. You can buy tickets at call booth or set a book time to just scan in and go. (Which is recommended) Staff was very nice and informative about the sea life. No maps need to tour around, You are free to walk around and explore the full aquarium. Lots of different sea life and you can also interact with the fish. The Shark Reef also have a virtual ride experience. The Gift shop was on the top floor and had lots of things to buy related to sea life. Bathrooms was available clean and stocked. There was sanitizer stations and napkins to keep hands clean. There is no food or drinks allowed. Very nice food court right outside the aquarium for you to get a nice meal after the walk around. All ages is appropriate for this Aquarium as well. Tourist and locals can’t go wrong with this sea life adventure right on the Las Vegas strip in Nevada.

I came here a long time ago with family, and I decided to come back and see it again during a recent trip. This is a really fun place that has a great variety of species, as well as a fun thematic atmosphere throughout the exhibits. It features a stingray touch pool, and the climactic shark reef exhibit has viewing portals at all angles, including above and below. A great family-friendly attraction on the Las Vegas Strip!

  • 5/5 Yell Yell T. 9 months ago on Google
Awesome experience. The layout is amazing! The atmosphere is perfect! Ohhh, the animals. Although I'd rather they be on the wild on their real environment, this facility seems to take care of them and the animals didn't display any weird behaviors.

  • 5/5 Victoria S. 9 months ago on Google
Loved this!! We had so much fun looking at all the different species! The walk through of this amazing place ends in a cute gift shop with soft plush versions of the animals you've seen as well as jewelry and beautiful glass figurines.

  • 5/5 Angelica E. 9 months ago on Google
Wow. I thought this was going to be somewhat of a quick throwaway activity to kill some time, and it wound up being one of our favorite attractions in Vegas. The amount of information posted everywhere and the super helpful staff made it so interesting and engaging, and seeing the sharks from all different angles (above, below, etc) was super cool. My kiddo especially loved all the cool lighting and temple theming. Definitely worth spending an hour or two to wander through if you're in the area!

A big surprise coming across this aquarium in the middle of Las Vegas…let alone in a hotel! It’s a little confusing at first based on the signs, but park in the convention center and walk towards the beach club, where you’ll see the signs for the shark reef. Tickets were extremely easy buying online, and would recommend over waiting in line. We went on a Saturday and the line was wrapped around about 14 folks, so save some time. A lot of kids in strollers throughout the entire aquarium, so just be careful because they have a ton kids running around. The overall aquarium is amazing, with tons to see for everyone. Take some time, and look at everything. I recommend alloying about 1 hour for the entire visit.

  • 4/5 Lee 11 months ago on Google
For all shark enthusiast this exhibit is for you. You’re able to observe and array of different sharks swimming amongst fish, turtles and other sea creatures. The shark enclosure is designed so that guests can walk through while sharks swim above their heads. This offers a unique experience and a phenomenal photographic backdrop. The exhibits also offers a virtual reality explorer undersea experience. your fitted with goggles and sat in a chair offering you a “mild”virtual motion ride. Overall, the shark exhibit was good but I was expecting a bit more. With that, the virtual experience was worth the price of admission and I would recommend it. Small children would definitely enjoy the virtual experience as would seniors. Nevada residents get $3.00 off admission.

  • 4/5 Melissa J. 1 year ago on Google
This a pretty good aquarium. I do think the 30$ ticket price per adult is very expensive for what they have. They have some really interesting exhibits and some things to see. The stingray pool is great and of course the walk in shark tank is wonderful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I think we were here for about an hour but we really took our time, I think an average amount of time here would be 35 or 40 minutes.

  • 5/5 Wendy S. 11 months ago on Google
This was so much fun!! It was set up very nicely and wasn't overcrowded. I absolutely LOVED the jellyfish. The were various types of sharks and they were all very active. I took alot of good pictures and videos for memories. They had 2 tunnels where you could see the sharks swimming over your head. I was able to get a video of that - so nice!! They had a nice gift shop and I got a small stuffed animal. I would definitely go back here again!!

We got free tickets to the Shark Reef after attending a time share which worked out great since we had our kiddos with. We all loved the aquarium. It was a really neat experience and there was lots to look at.

  • 4/5 Amanda W. 8 months ago on Google
This is a fun little aquarium. The shark tanks are fabulous to see. It also has several other interesting aquatic animals to see. It is small. I knew it would be small, but we were through it in less than an hour - which surprised me. The funnel design also creates frustrating moments as other guests impede our full enjoyment. We got stuck behind people who did not have a care that other people were there. Due to the design we weren't able to ever really get away from them. Something to be aware of and prepared for.

  • 5/5 Taylor H. 8 months ago on Google
So beautiful! Small, but amazing. Loved the jelly fish and the tube you walk through. I could sit and watch forever. So peaceful.

  • 3/5 Sofia S. 8 months ago on Google
It was beautifully done and well made. I really enjoyed it but it was quite small and not a lot of different things to see. For the price I expected more but it was still nice.

Family Trip to Vegas! This is a place to check out! We had so much fun! My son loved all the different sharks, fishes, and turtles! The underwater tunnel is very cool! We had the Best Time. Kids under 4 are free.

A really enjoyable break from the constant stimulus and overload of the Vegas atmosphere. Lots of variety for even what I would consider a small aquarium and the staff were very knowledgeable. Was a lovely aquarium for a good price and will have to return in the future.

This is a nice feature of Mandalay Bay. It is not a destination location, but it is a really nice side trip if you are in Vegas. This is a short walk, but it's designed very well. They have fun underwater tunnels and some very large observation windows. They have nice exhibits and nice surroundings. However there are a few congestion locations and spaces where people tend to congregate. Everyone young and old enjoyed themselves.

  • 4/5 Wendy B. 7 months ago on Google
Very immersive and unique aquarium! I’ve never seen anything like this. Was able to see some really uncommon fish and reptiles I’ve never seen before, including a Komodo dragon and piranhas! Very beautifully decorated and designed. The ship at the end is a show stopper! There are two different shark tunnels, and in the ship at the end there is a glass floor and glass ceiling. Really impressive! The only downside is the gift shop at the end, pretty cheap and boring.

  • 4/5 Skye L. 7 months ago on Google
It didn’t quite meet my expectations compared to the pictures I saw online. But my family still had a great time looking at all the fish/sharks. Being able to touch a stingray was really cool too.

  • 3/5 Celeste D. 7 months ago on Google
It was a short experience. There wasn't much to it. But, I'm used to aquariums in Florida and Chicago that are considerably larger. It took maybe 30 mins to get through it. The older lady with the loud monotone voice on the microphone/ speakers with the sting rays was the worst part. She really didn't seem to like her job. I've touched many stingrays, and never has there been a handler/speaker like her. The little 6 min virtual reality show afterward was a little welcomed surprise. Just like the rest of them, with the moving seats and all. We just didn't know it was included.

  • 5/5 Sergio R. 6 months ago on Google
Nice place. The ticket you buy also includes a virtual ride. Beautiful animals in there, you can even touch some of them. The best part is the huge tank at the end of the aquarium, big sharks in there.

  • 5/5 Michelle 6 months ago on Google
We haven't been to the aquarium in a while, but it was pretty awesome. We loved the shipwreck feel. The jellyfish were great. Highly recommend.

Great place to take kids in Las Vegas! Small aquarium, but really fun to see multiple sharks and marine life in one area. Gift shop has a good variety of souvenirs.

  • 5/5 Devin H. 5 months ago on Google
A nice break from the strip. If you're looking for some down time and want to enjoy the fish be sure to put this on your list of things to do. The best part is at the end as you watch the sharks swim above and below you, no hurry to get through so you can just sit and watch.

  • 5/5 Curtis “AtomiKGameZ” R. 4 months ago on Google
Super cool visit we had here! definitely worth a walk through! Has a bunch of smaller tanks with different fish in them, and then the huge ol shark tank at the end, which If you are lucky you also get to see diver Steve helping out!

  • 5/5 D T. 4 months ago on Google
It was cool to be in under the pool to see the sharks and fish swim around you. It was also fun to touch the sting rays. The gift shop, as usual, is a bit pricy, some things you can probably find on Amazon cheaper. Staff was very nice.

  • 4/5 Alex 4 months ago on Google
Not bad for a Vegas aquarium! Wish they gave us a few more views on the larger tank. I've been to some large aquariums and this is very okish. Nothing special but still a nice stop. Tunnel is much shorter then photos lool and their are not many fish in it. We were here from maybe an hour.

It was pretty cool. I've definitely been to more elaborate aquariums but this was still worth going! I loved the tunnels you walk through and the room where you can see sharks above or below you. Loved the tacky but cute photos they take of you upon entering that's a nice touch. It was sort of hard to find the place though, no marked entrance and no signs.
