From pickup to dropoff, this was undoubtedly one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable, and just all around great to be around. This was my first helicopter experience, and it sold me on helicopters for life. If you're looking for something different and memorable to do in Vegas, definitely give these guys a call. We will absolutely be back!

These guys are genuine people. We didn’t take a helicopter ride, we actually were traveling through the desert when we got a flat tire. One of the guys saw us with the flat and offered to blow up our tire at their helicopter hanger. When we got to the hanger, the air compressor had actually been moved to a different facility. The employee then offered for us to come over to their home just up the road to blow up and plug our tire. We offered to give them money for the materials and for their time, but the money was refused. What a great impression they left on us. We felt a way to repay them was by leaving a 5 star review and recommending everyone to take a ride with these guys. It’s a great feeling to know there are still kind people in this world and Gunship Helicopters is staffed full of them.

Randy and his crew are absolutely amazing. The care and safety that goes into something like this is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s great to see so many veterans working there. They are all knowledgeable and love what they do. The equipment and firearms available are not like any other place out there. You will not be disappointed.

Whats better than guns? GUNS AND HELICOPTERS. Very cool experience! From booking to the actual experience, it was flawless. Jennifer, Patrick, Ronald and Joe was very professional, informative and friendly. Don't leave Vegas without booking here. Highly recommended. The only downside is having to end the day. Go for a minimum of 300 rounds as those rounds fly by fast!

Amazing Experience!! The staff was fun and helpful!! We were planning our next trip there before our first time there was over!! The extra ammo is most definitely worth it!! We only wish we would of stayed longer!!

Hello guys from Gunship Helicopters Las Vegas, after I had a few days to process the collected impressions, I would like to thank you for the given experience and don't want to miss to leave a small rating. I had one of the best experiences of my life, which I will not forget so quickly! As I already told you on site, I always wanted to experience how it feels to fly in a helicopter with open side doors, as I had already seen this in so many movies. This experience combined with one (or more) :-) belts of the M249 was the absolute blast! Also I wanted to thank you for your open and friendly kind during our visit as you always took your time to answer the questions which I had. Besides all that it was definetly a good decision to come out to your outdoor range near Sandy Valley. The experience to shoot weapons on an outdoor range is definetly better then an indoor range. Especially as you offer the long distance sniper experience with the CAL50. Also the amount of Tanks & Cars which we were allowed to see was great. These guys were the best! We had to reschedule twice and they didn’t hesitate to accommodate changes in our schedule. The flight, firearm lessons and safety were top notch. They are all about fun, safety and service. Pilots are incredible and make it a one of a kind experience. Beautiful drive from Vegas and well worth it.

Once in a life time experience. The crew are super friendly and professional. Had so much fun firing a gun from the chopper.. We are glad that we took the fully loaded package. Everyone in my group had so much of fun firing a Barret(50 cal)..I would definitely come back here to shoot... Tip: Don't drive your car to the range. There is an unpaved road of 4 miles. If you don't want have rock chips damaging your car, get a rental for the day.

This was a once in a lifetime experience and I didn't even know I needed it on my bucket list until after I was done. I bought the Battle Buddy package for my best friend that is getting married because it was something he always wanted to do. They arranged to pick us up from the strip to drive us out to the location (1 hour drive each way) and they had great customer service. Once we got to the range, you feel like you just stepped into a military drop in Afghanistan, so you really get the whole atmosphere while you are there. All of the staff were awesome and let me tell you, once you get up in the air they really gas you up and give you the full experience! We also sprung to shoot the Barrett .50 Cal at $25 per round, so for an extra $50 each I would say it was for sure worth it to experience it! They also give you a thumb drive with a video of your entire flight, which is a cool memory to be able to share! Its not cheap, but if you can make it happen for you or someone else, I would highly recommend going. The experience, staff, atmosphere and memories are well worth it!

This is THE experience in Las Vegas. Stop losing your money in the casinos and spend your cash on an experience of a lifetime.

An absolute bucket list item. Don’t skimp on this! It’s not cheap but it worth every penny. Get the biggest package you can afford, you won’t regret it. The staff is incredibly nice. Very knowledgeable and helpful with complete focus on safety. But at the same time they are fun and obviously enjoy helping people live out their door gunner fantasies! Be sure to include the ground range and (if your budget allows) fire an actual tank!!! We will definitely do this again!

10 out of 10 recommend. Professionals all the way around, this is the coolest thing you can do Vegas. It's for newbies and veterans. Don't hesitate, do it. You'll love it, I guarantee.

Like everything says, its the only place you can shoot a machine gun from a helicopter. They also have the option to shoot a few other automatic weapons from their range. This place also has the longest target distance for the barrett rifle, which is where it shines. Id like to see more targets for the barrett other than just a steel plate, the APC isnt an option anymore because of the fires it started which is completely understandable. I also hope they put sights on the SAW you shoot in the helicopter. Its a waste of time and ammo having to judge where youre shooting by the dirt marks on the ground, especially when the helicopters moving constantly. It would be nice if complimentary rides to/from here was available to everyone & not just partys of 3 or more. If you drive yourself just know that the dirt road to get there, is a very rocky dirt road. Your suspension will lose some life and if not in an "offroad" vehicle, youll be driving about 5-10 mph for 3 miles so add 20-30 minutes to your travel time.

Screw Vegas - hands down this is best damn time you can have in Nevada!!!! Well worth the money and the drive. Will definitely do this again anytime I'm near. Cheers to the ex-military crew and the owner who piloted us around!

The single greatest day of my life and seven of my closest friends. Booking was easy, they were extremely responsive. They were flexible on changes leading up to the event. Transportation was top notch and on time. When we arrived we were well organized and well briefed. We did not wait very long for the group in front of us to finish. It was extremely safe across the entire experience. Helicopter crew was friendly and helpful. There is simply no better way in all of Las Vegas to spend part of a day. A flawless top notch experience. I wish they had a hotel they operated!

One of the best experiences to be had! The adrenaline rush and thrill is not to be understated. The staff also made this one of our favorite excursions of all time. My client had the absolute time of her life with her kids when she came out with you guys. What a phenomenal team and operation. She spoke extremely high of your sales rep/driver Christopher. Very down to earth guy and the whole drive out there and back was filled with laughter according to her. Had the time of their lives out there, PLUS he brought her and her girlfriends out for a nightclub table they’ll never forget. Just wow. Suggest you hold onto him by any means. 5 stars all around, can’t wait to send you as much business as humanly possible. Your range employees are also extremely helpful and have amazing senses of humor too. One of a kind experiences are hard to come by nowadays. Keep it up!

Had an awesome time! The staff at the range was very professional and very welcoming. We were in Las Vegas for vacation and got to range thanks to their wonderful driver! My guys and I had a blast and our pilot was very cool. Definitely recommend if you are out in Vegas for the weekend!

I (42m) went with my younger daughter for a unique experience. It is about an hour drive from Las Vegas. You have to have (or rent) your own car or use their available transportation service. It was a fun, unique experience for sure. The plan was that I shoot and my daughter just rides along. Well, she got the opportunity to shoot a fully automatic MP5 while waiting for things to kick off and loved it. I then asked the staff if we could switch such that she shoots and I ride after seeing how much she enjoyed the machine gun. They all chatted to ensure everyone was comfortable (a safety thing) and agreed without any fuss. The ride was a ton of fun, the staff was great and my daughter loved it. I recommend this to anyone looking for a unique activity.

Unbelievable experience! I don't even know where to begin... Chris picked us up with a few other folks and we headed out to the Gunship range which was about an hour give or take from the strip. Would recomend going with a pickup if at all possible. Everyone was very friendly, informative, very keen on saftey with several breifs on each gun that would be offered along with helicopter safety. Although we booked in advance the Gunship team happily accommodated a number of changes. One of those was of course more ammo but we also added a mountain high fly which was more than worth the $100. Started off on the ground with the full auto MP5 then on to the full auto AK47 and last be certainly not least, 2 rounds through the Barrett 50cal. As if that wasn't enough, it was on to the Helicopter! Ended up with 400 rounds (think I might go for more next time) which goes by fast but was an experience never to be forgotten! Pilot and crew were awesome and informative as well and got us a final photo outside the helicopter and of course a VERY good video provided by Gunship Helicopters with mulitple video angels. Thank you to all the guys at Gunship Helicopters for a truly one of a kind experience! We will be back!

Brought my 15 y/o nephew for a morning of fun. I spent 26 in the army, most in special ops.. I knew he would have a blast. The guys were awesome. Made nephew comfortable in what was coming. If your checkbook allows (it ain’t cheap).. do this!
