A must-visit place in Vegas. Although it is right next to the airport but reaching here using public transit is time taking. However, the sign is opposite to a Deuce Bus stop. Therefore, itโ€™s easy to reach from the Strip. Also, you might come across a long line of tourists waiting for their turn to take photos. But itโ€™s fun to watch people pose and having fun in general. So you wonโ€™t get bored while waiting.

The most iconic sign in the world!!! Almost everyone who comes to Vegas visits the sign! Tour companies charge for taking people out here, talk about great marketing!! So cool!! As a local I always come here when I can. It is Vegas and the sign is a core component to its world famed history!! For a rare experience, visiting the sign during a unique snow storm in the winter time is truly epic!!!!

The most iconic sign of Las Vegas since the 50s and nothing has changed even today. There is a small parking lot and a photo area for everyone. You can also get here by public transport. The sign is clean and nice for day and night photography. Definitely a must-visit place in Las Vegas. Expect that it is overcrowded and sometimes you have to wait a while.

VISITED SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2023 This was worth the drive to the sign. It's on the middle of the road near the airport. Thankfully there is parking. However, I wish we visited both day and night to get both perspectives. But we enjoyed taking pics at night with the lights! Just be aware, lots of people along with you will be there to take pics along with homeless. And they will hustle to take pics for some $$$. This is why I put 4 stars rather than 5. They need security there. Be aware... However, if you have the latest phone with a great camera then you can take some great pics of the sign itself or selfies. But definitely worth visiting!

Great photo op with a landmark! The sign is a tourist hot spot. There is free parking but depending upon the time of day, there may a line. Standing in that line is optional, tho. We went and took a picture from an angle versus waiting in line and it looks great. You can't even tell that we aren't directly in front of it. Since it is usually hot, I'd say avoid the line. But they were selling water when I was there just in case.

One of the most famous city entry signs. If you want a individual close up picture you will need to wait in line if you don't come very early. If a general picture is sufficient and you don't mind other people in the background or you have very long arms, it can be done without waiting in line.

Itโ€™s basically just a sign really. Happens to be very famous. Thereโ€™s often a queue to take a picture right underneath and hawkers will offer to take yours for a tip. If you donโ€™t want one square on, avoid the queue and take your pictures off to one side without bothering anyone else. Works fine.

It's definitely a tourist spot, but it's worth the trip. Be prepared for a long line no matter what time you go there. When we were there, a guy was taking photos for people for tips, and he was amazing. We love the photos we got.

There were a long queue line up for taking the central spot for picture. However, you don't really have to!! You can get beautiful picture immediately by talking it from the side. And it looks great and good enough as same as the central spot (from my opinion) plus no wait. P.S. I have much better pictures I'm my friend's phone. But this is just an example that you can take it from this spot

Iโ€™ve been to Vegas so many times and Iโ€™ve never been here so I told the kids letโ€™s go ! We drove from California and this was our first stop ( we got there around 2pm ) we found parking for free . Stood in line for less than 10 mins and we took some great pictures! Afterwards I got the kids some cocos to drink. They have all kinds of entertainment but itโ€™s fun. If you are coming from out of town definitely stop ๐Ÿ›‘! Itโ€™s an epic place to take some family pictures and have memories to last for a life time ! Come and thank me later โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜

Expect to queue 10+ minutes to get your photo without others in it. Or skip down the side of the queue to get a side shot in between the queuing masses. If you time it right you can get a good photo in between groups swapping over. There are professional photographers there who will take a pic for a price. Also stalls selling refreshments. Lights are turned on about 8.10pm/8.15pm (July) if you want a lit up shot. Best time to go is then in my opinion, sunset plus lit sign. Recommended popping to the Pinball Hall of fame while you're there, its awesome & free.

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign! Iโ€™ve been here several times now and itโ€™s always a nice experience. I love it. There is usually someone taking pictures for a small donation. Iโ€™ve even seen and Elvis Impersonator. This is just a great sight to see!

Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas sign/landmark is like an iconic place (free entry). People visit here to take pictures basically with the sign board ๐Ÿชง. It will be little crowded at times. Have to wait in a queue to take pictures in front of the sign board. There will be photographers helping to click pictures for free (tips are expected). (A selfie stick would be handy) Itโ€™s at a driving distance from the strip hotels and casinos. Decent parking space (free) is also available. Deuce (bus) that runs over the strip stops here as well.

This was cool to see during the day. At night might be even better. It is super close to the airport, which you will see some very interesting aircraft in addition to the sign. They actually sell its light bulbs for like $30-$40 per bulb. I enjoyed my visit, bit I wasn't prepared for the 45 minute wait, so please bring your patience, after all you're in Las Vegas.

Had to come and see the iconic Las Vegas sign while in Vegas. Came at night to see it all lit up and there were a few people all taking pictures. The lights of the sign were rainbow colors for pride month and there is a dedicated parking area about 100 feet away.

Famous Las Vegas Sign! Small parking lot with a few vendors selling drinks, snacks, and fresh fruit. Elvis was also there to take pictures for tips. There is a line to take pictures directly in front of the sign but if you just want to see it you can move off to the side. Also, pretty cool they change the lights on the outside of the sign, in this case to show support for Ukraine.

Iconic place, good spot to take photo - be aware of the guy willing to take photos of you for some cash, he is not the place service but just scams the people to do it. You can just walk to the side and take as many photos as you want for free. Good parking, it fills but also empties fast.

Original sign. Was neat to see. Not sure why it states tickets online? We just drove up to it and parked. This was November 2023. Usually lots of people here, be prepared to wait in a line. Also be wary of people charging to take your picture. Overall neat part of Las Vegas history.

One of the best FREE attractions On Vegas. It also isnโ€™t very far from the Hotel area. But I would recommend going in a Car. The place is very accessible, it has Parking area. There is usually a waiting line because its a famous attraction and people come. You will wait around 20 minutes in line.

So, thereโ€™s a line in front of the sign. Iโ€™m not sure what thatโ€™s all about, but my guess is that people were waiting patiently to have some hustler take their pictures in front of the sign. Nice hustle, though. We didnโ€™t have time for that, so after we took a picture of the back of the sign, we stepped to the side and got the front. We didnโ€™t interfere with what they were doing, but we didnโ€™t wait for a โ€˜turn.โ€™ Itโ€™s a sign!

Don't take it the wrong way but no need to go and visit, you can literally drive by and then go enjoy the strip. Time is limited here and so much to do! It's a great picture in person, and some may find it necessary to go and see this thing up close. I would recommend you save the time for the strip. If you drive in the left hand lanes you can get some great shots of the sing in your way to the hotels.

My favourite part of Vegas was Fremont Street. I loved the old buildings and as soon as I went in the El Cortez I knew I'd be back, and would be staying at this hotel. What a magnificent piece of history. Service everywhere was great and we loved the arid landscape. Death Valley was breathtaking as was Red Rock Canyon.

Itโ€™s a great spot to take ur photoshoot with Las Vegas sign board. But the wait time gets longer as the day goes by. Reaching there at early morning around 6am would have cut the wait line but the lighting mehhh. I went there twice during my last visit. Each time the wait time was way too different. One during the weekend middle of the day with long que & no assistance. Other day Monday morning around 10am with less than 5mins wait, but there was a volunteer who helped us taking pictures & the wait line moved way too fast. Also he was great at taking pics. With baby it was tough to wait hence the picture on the side during the weekend: Not disturbing the actual frames

This is a free attraction. Stay away from the guys trying to get tips for pictures. Some these guys get aggressive and rude if you decline. They'll intentionally take their time while take people's pictures. Just ask the person behind or in front of you for help. Most people will do it and then you can just reciprocate. You get in line or take a picture off to the side. If you've made it that far I suggest you get in line. It's a much better picture with no one behind you. Bring water, a hat (shade), and some patience it can take up to 30-45 mins. It's a cool picture and a great memory.

The sign itself is amazing! Unfortunately you find yourself making line feeling forced to get your picture taken by a random guy that does it for tips. People tried taking picutres without him and he would block them it was so rude. What if we don't feel confortable giving him our phone for a picture. We should be able to take it without him forcing us to take it with him .

Itโ€™s FULL of people. But itโ€™s a classic Vegas spot that you shouldnโ€™t miss. Thereโ€™s a long queue line of people waiting to take photos in front of the sign. But if you donโ€™t care about the perfect picture, you can walk to the side on the sand path and take pictures there and be in and out quickly. There were some small food vendors too. Parking is very limited for the amount of people visiting.

Great place for the priceless Las Vegas picture ๐Ÿ“ธ for the scrapbook. It is free parking to go there. Parking is available around the area. The sign is located on a island median between two streets but easily to get to and park close to. The is small vendors selling drinks, souvenirs, food, and professional photographers to assist with photo taking. You don't need them if you don't want to use them but it's nice to have them available if needed. Almost anytime there is people there so it is not dangerous creepy. I took a picture of the back because the front everybody knows very well. This place is close to the Maverick helicopter tours.

The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is an iconic symbol that embodies the excitement and glamour of the city. As soon as I laid eyes on the sign, I felt an instant rush of energy and anticipation. Its retro aesthetic, bold lettering, and vibrant colors instantly transport you to a world of entertainment and possibilities. This beautifully designed piece of art holds significant historical and cultural value, representing the spirit and resilience of Las Vegas. Located at the southern end of the Strip, it serves as a gateway to the city, and visitors flock to capture memorable photos. Standing in front of the sign, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and anticipation for the incredible experiences that awaited me in this vibrant city. The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is a must-see attraction, encapsulating the essence of this dazzling destination.

Been here twice and the "unofficial" photo takers have always been great. Suggested tip but well worth the $5-$10 I gave him and Elvis who accompanies you if you so choose. Get there early if you don't want to wait more than 10 minutes. We were there around 9:00 AM and only waited due to some Tik Tok wannabe star taking hundreds of photo.

The Famous Las Vegas Sign : Iconic, Amazing, Fabulous, Magnificent. This is tourist Hot spot believe me. Iโ€™ve always saw this sign as a computer background or my many US Friends. Untill I have seen it from my pair of eyes,,, I was wondering when I ll have a picture underneath and Phewwwww I got a chance. Now I was able to see the masterpiece in my own eyes and it was magnificent. One photographer lady was willing to help us and helping to have different pose. Bring water, a Cap or Hat to cover your head and some patience it can take up some time to get it framed. The queue is long in day time , mostly after 12 oclock and it gets longer and longer. you will get cool picture and a great memory with this sign board. Infront of it, its Harley Davidson and Also a Meverickโ€™s helicopter. I was sweating out good! There is free parking but depending upon the time of day, there may a line. Standing in that line is optional, One can take a picture from an angle to the sides and make tikTok / Insta Reel J .Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign is a Las Vegas landmark funded in May 1959 and erected soon after by Western Neon. The sign was designed by Betty Willis at the request of Ted Rogich, a local salesman, who sold it to Clark County, Nevada. Iconic 1950s neon sign & popular photo op marking the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip Note : Firstly, be prepared for a potentially long wait time, as it can get quite crowded with visitors wanting to take photos with the iconic sign. Additionally, the parking lot at the Welcome Sign is limited, and even entering the parking lot can involve some waiting. It's advisable to plan accordingly and be patient.

A must do tourist stop in Vegas. We went a lil after 10am and waited in line about 45 minutes. There was a guy taking photos for tips who was extremely nice and gave you suggested poses.

It just one of the must-go attractions in Las Vegas. We went early morning and there were 4-5 couple in the queue. The guy who took photos is very funny and fast. You canโ€™t spend time there but at least everyone gets a photo alone and not other hundreds of tourists in the photo. It has parking, itโ€™s pretty spacious and because itโ€™s going quickly you can get a parking spot pretty easy and fast.

I'm a tourist but man... its something else coming here. People have no consideration for each other at all. There's a line for photos for people to get one at a time when they could easily get 3 or 4 groups on different sides. People take forever and then stand around checking the photos on their devices, not moving for the next person. And massive tour groups will just rudely tell you to move when you're trying to get a photo and were clearly ahead of them ๐Ÿ™„

So, there isnโ€™t much to this other than itโ€™s a sign thatโ€™s been in a lot of movies. Itโ€™s south on the strip, a good mile from the main part. Be prepared to either take a cab or do some walking. There is a guy taking pictures and a line formed behind him. Iโ€™m not sure if he works for the city or not. Just when in Vegas, since the sign is so iconic, just go and snap a picture and be about your day. Recommend.

We got the photographer there to take our picture. It was great, he took the time to take several photos of us and suggested some fun poses! We gave him a tip. They are not employed by the city but permitted by the city to be there. He also moved people out of the way that didnโ€™t line up for shots. We were also lucky that Elvis was there as well so we had a photo done with him as he serenaded us ๐Ÿ˜

Somehow the sign is a must-see. It may only be a sign under palm trees, but it's worth a photo. There are queues in front of the sign. We were lucky and only had to wait 20 minutes. On the plus side, there is always someone there to take a photo of you. There are also professional photographers walking around who take money for photos if you want. There are a few parking lots. Next to it is a big Harley sign.

Tourist trap. Watch for vehicle break in's while waiting in line for your selfie. During busy times plan to wait. Drive by slowly and can get a good pic, can also photo shop and add your pic to a stock photo

We arrived and got in line expecting to wait 30 โ€“ 45 minutes before we would take a few selfies in front of the sign. Someone with a professional DLSR camera offered to take us to the front of the line, take our pictures, and send them directly to my phone. He said he works for tips. I gave him $20 and got a lot better pictures than our selfie stick would have taken. Well worth the money

My first picture of this sign was when I was a young child in 1981. The hop on hop off bus I was on did NOT stop at the sign but I was able to get some pics and video of it coming and going. There is ALWAYS a long line during prime time but you can go off to the side and get a quick pic or come around sunrise. There are stores all over Vegas with this sign as their marquee you can get a great pic without the line. So Iโ€™m torn. If you havenโ€™t done it wait in line and do it. If youโ€™ve done it before check it off the list and move on.

This is one of the most iconic spots in Vegas, and they were nice enough to put some free parking right nearby. We came at an odd hour and it was crazy crowded, so I don't suspect that this experience every changes. There was a huge line at the sign, so we stood off to the side.

The Welcome Sign in Las Vegas is a popular tourist attraction, but there are a few things to keep in mind when planning a visit. Firstly, be prepared for a potentially long wait time, as it can get quite crowded with visitors wanting to take photos with the iconic sign. Additionally, the parking lot at the Welcome Sign is limited, and even entering the parking lot can involve some waiting. It's advisable to plan accordingly and be patient. One minor drawback is that some people may skip the line and take pictures, which can be frustrating for those waiting patiently. It would be beneficial to have someone in place to help manage the crowd and ensure everyone gets a fair opportunity to capture their moment. Despite these considerations, the Welcome Sign is still a must-see landmark in Las Vegas, and the experience of capturing a photo there can be memorable. Just be prepared for the potential wait and parking challenges, and remember to be respectful of others when taking your turn.

Viva Las Vegas! Always a fun spot to stop for a pic with friends or family. A parking lot is available (headed southbound) but spaces may be limited. Usually a vendor or two hangs around in case you thirst, as well as the occasional photographer who will take a professional photo of you and your group for a price. Crime does sometimes occur around this area so it is recommended that you lock your car and ensure valuables are out of sight (rest assured, the majority of people are just there for photos and a fun time).

This place is a wonderful photo stop for a hands down signature picture at Vegas. Try going there in the morning to avoid huge crowd and long queues. One person stands there to maintain the queue and take pictures. He is very friendly and will take some really nice pictures. He took some family pictures for us and they look just too wonderful. Highly recommend!!

Overrated? Yes! Ridiculous queue? Yeah, that too! Small? Yup! Should you do it anyway? Of course! Youโ€™re in Vegas - get it done and be on your way! Or better yet. Take a Hummer H2 Limo to the sign and impress everybody waiting in line, when arriving with champagne in the glass. Letโ€™em snap some photos of you - pretend to be some royal dudes from Europe and make some Japanese tourists feel lucky they got to take a selfie with you.

Vegas is an amazing city from theme rides, the pinball Hall of Fame, to the wax museum. Letโ€™s not forget the carnival style atmosphere in the Vegas nightlife. How do you keep your self going, try some of the amazing five star, restaurants and resorts when you need a recharge.

Every time I visit this place with different set of friends, itโ€™s always a memorable moment. I love taking pics in this spot. This time it was very less wait time, may be around 2-3 mins, not sure how, even I couldnโ€™t but believe. But good memory

We loved it. Glad there was a photographer there. He took some really great pictures of my family.

It was an awesome experience. There was a guy standing there helping everyone to click group or single pictures to look their best. We were thankful to him to click our group picture and we did thank him for it with words and tips.

Great place to take a couple of photos while in Vegas. I must admit I come every year to take one lol! Just to update my last one. There's usually parking and the lines aren't long when I go. Which is in the evening, have fun and do enjoy yourself!

  • 4/5 Thomas M. 3 years ago on Google
Not much to say. The sign is grand and fabulous. While times have changed, it's still fun to look at what once were (and sometimes still are) iconic marks of the capital gambling city for this part of the country.

Best time to go is at night. There's a guy there that will take pictures for 20 bucks and send them to you.

  • 4/5 Hariram M. 3 years ago on Google
It's really far from strip. You need to walk or Uber to this place. If you go in the night, make sure your phone is able to nicely capture back light. There are few freelance photographer who takes money and help you take professional pictures. YMMV.

There is parking here but you have to get lucky and hope someone leaves at the same time. There is a really long line to take your picture. We parked across the street for one minute at the airport and took a really far away picture of the sign since we had to get to a reservation and could not wait in line. We also got a pic of it as we were driving past it.

Nice but obviously long line and Pan handlers, ie, women with their flamingo outfits, or an Asian guy talking you up to only want a donation afterwards.

It never disappoints, it is iconic. For the best pics, stop by the sign during daylight hours. , unless you're got a camera that takes good photos in the dark. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Always something to do here and we visit every year, we have Time-Share here. Plenty attractions, activities, shows, rides, and gambling, on and off the strip without spending all of your monies. Lake mead, Hoover Dam, the Ski Resorts in the mountain tops, Zip Linning, Go Cart Riding, shopping, Dinning, and you'll still find something new and exciting to do during your next visits I promise...

Great place for quick photo entering Vegas. There are usually people there that will take your photos for you at night using lights they've brought(needed to see your faces and the sign lit up) using your phone. They work off cash tips. It was worth the $10 tip as you can see from the photo I took with my phone vs the photo the guy took with my phone and his light. There is usually an Elvis on site also.

  • 5/5 Mark C. 2 years ago on Google
Special parking lot to visit the sign which makes it easy to visit the sign. I didnโ€™t mind waiting 5-10 minutes in the line to get the straight on view of the sign. There were other people who chose not to wait and probably have a nice picture of the sign from an angle. There is a person working on their own to take your picture, for free, but is accepting donations. We gave a couple of bucks.

  • 5/5 Starla E. 2 years ago on Google
I was very impressed that they have a semi-professional photographer who takes pictures of your group at the sign on your phone for free. The line is a bit of a long wait and it's super hot out there under the sun with no shade, but the pictures turned out great.

  • 5/5 Michelle S. 1 year ago on Google
Iconic spot and a must see on your trip. Go there during the week if you can, weekends are crazy but amazingly not super long wait times (less than 30 mins). Not a long wait to get a great photo. We went night and day for different views. Really nice parking facility (free) set up next to the sign which makes it easy to get in and out.

  • 5/5 Brigham F. 2 years ago on Google
Iconic spot to take pictures in Las Vegas! Went on a Thursday afternoon and there was plenty of parking (free) and we waited about 15 minutes to take pictures with the sign. There was a photographer there taking pictures for people with an optional donation.

Probably the must go place in Vegas, recommend to go early in the morning if you dont want to wait to take photos, i was waiting more than an hour. They were selling cold water and coconut right by the sign

  • 5/5 John C. 1 year ago on Google
It is an iconic place to take a vacation pictures at. With that said you will find it busy with a line at during the days, yet empty at night. It is hard to get good night picture if not a profesional photographer. Sorry for the armature hour pics.

  • 3/5 Nidhi J. 1 year ago on Google
To avoid the line in the scorching heat itโ€™s recommended to come early morning ie before 7 am to get a good photograph without having to stand in line for long. Another tip, is donโ€™t go and stand near the sign because then your photograph will come really small. Stand near the photographer for a better picture. I wish I knew that when I went for photographs

  • 5/5 Rayston L. 9 months ago on Google
Great photo opportunity if you decide to join the queue. Depends on the time of the day. Go early to avoid queuing. We couldn't queue cause we were in a tour group and only had 10 minutes here. The area has been upgraded to accommodate parking for a few cars and tour buses. *edited photo: Used the magic eraser to clean off the people. Not too bad I'd say.

  • 5/5 Angelia G. 9 months ago on Google
Famous sign at the end of the strip. Free parking is available to stop and take pictures. No tickets are needed. Just expect to wait in a line to take pics.

  • 4/5 James M. 9 months ago on Google
Visited the Welcome sign during as soon as we had driven in from LA and during the heat of the day. Big mistake ๐Ÿ˜‚ the line was huge and thereโ€™s very little shade. Be prepared to wait a while if you want โ€œthe perfect shotโ€. Or else walk to the side, take a photo then get outta there before everyone else complains ๐Ÿคฃ

  • 3/5 Nagendra Singh T. 6 months ago on Google
There are plenty of similar signs in a few grand hotel shoppes. This one usually has long queue of several folks waiting in line. Try phots from little side angles, they come out equally gorgeous. Posting some of those here.

Beautiful and iconic sign. The line was too long due to tourist attraction and also next to the aircraft airport. Must visit when arrived at Las Vegas. Beautiful, sunny weather in September 2023.

Nice to see when visiting Vegas. Pretty crowded when going to the sign during the day but was quite easy to park the car to parking lot right nexxt to the sign. Now when I have seen this sign, I think that I will not go again because it was not special, just iconic.

  • 4/5 S. N. 4 months ago on Google
I visited on a Friday around 4pm and there was a very large crowd, and I stood in line for about an hour. It was a particularly hot day, so the sun was very harsh and I was quite tired. But it was a great memory of Las Vegas.

  • 5/5 THE AB L. 5 months ago on Google
I went to Mavericks helicopters and did not realize it was about a five minute walk over to the signs so he walked over took a lot of pictures. We had a good time. I got some really nice pictures that would last forever.

Everyone knows that you canโ€™t visit Las Vegas without taking a picture in front of this infamous sign. Well, every time I drove past the line was super long. One night, I decided to pull in. Got a park right away, and just bypassed the line. I took a lot of pictures of my kids at the side. You canโ€™t even tell the difference. They came out so good. Every time someone moved away from the front, Iโ€™d snap a pic. We were the only ones standing off to the side. So if you donโ€™t want to wait, I definitely recommend doing the same.
